Nice facility. The lab is terrible though. The staff was incredibly rude.
I would like to give them 0.
Don t waste your time and money.
Awesome place to be in need of medical attention. Awesome staff and caring for your needs.
Myself and husband have needed emergency help as well as surgery at Providence Hospital. Thank God for the dedicated staff, Doctors, Surgeons, Nurses, ALL supportive members. Behind the scene hard workers, cleaners, cooks, security etc etc. you get the picture.
Our sincere appreciation.

First time. So far. We'll see. Hope there is no next.
So I went in on Saturday night around 11:00, I camping in Arlington and my foot was crushed in an accident, it swelled up to 5 times of a normal foot with a bleeding cut.
So I was taken for radiographs right away and stuck back in the lobby. After about 2 hours of waiting in pain I was put in a triage room and the doc came in and said it was not broken and then left. The nurse came in and wrapped my foot with out cleaning the cut, oh and did I mention I have type 1 diabetes, which they knew! I was give Tramadol by mouth, and with in 5 minutes I felt really weird, heart rate went up as long with my blood pressure, which was already elevated since I was in so much pain. The nurse called the doc in to see if I was having a reaction to the Tramadol, which he then came in and said it's physically impossible since I just took it. So then I thought maybe I was having a low blood sugar episode which to that they wanted to give me a sandwich with out checking my blood sugar.
Needless to say I left right after that with no crutches or anything.
A ruptured appendix had a 8 hour wait for surgery in the ER. Was told it is not about the money, but just standard procedure to wait that time..up to 24 hours! There is only one surgeon there for everyone, so you keep getting pushed back . In the mean time , you are given a ton of pain medicine since you are in extreme pain! There are comments made by nurses that this is why men don't have babies. Well, I think a man can have that kind of pain and worse and not to make light of it. You never see the doctor who actually does the surgery. I guess they have a team where a PA will see you sometime the next day . Went walking alone looking for a nurse the next day and found 4 of them sitting around talking ...and not about patients. I said , "so this is where you hang out" The receptionist at the desk never acknowledges you are standing there waiting ..just keeps signing a birthday card. The food is really bad..nothing like Swedish , which was wonderful! Home now with back arms from the IV's. Practiced on by a student! until a professional could be called. Don't go there alone
My son was seen at the Everett Clinic at 5 pm and they said they needed him to go to the ER and that they were calling ahead to let them k iw we were coming. We checked in at 8, due to my other kids needing to have someone stay home with them. It is unbelievable that it's 11 pm and the doc has still not even looked at my son's open wounds or diagnosed to see if he needs stitchea. I see 3-5 nurses at the counter chatting at all times. The nurse hasn't checked in one time and I am beyond frustrated. Such a waste of time and I'm sure money when I get the bill. Who is in charge at this place?
DONT GO HERE!!!!
I went into the er in excruciating pain arrived before 9pm wasn't brought into a room until after 11pm and other than taking a couple viles of blood nothing was done except repeatedly making sure my sliding door was shut all the way without being visible because my screams of agony were bothering them yet no one came in to see if i was ok or needed anything not even a Tylenol or sip of water i didn't even get a blanket for the first couple hours just my hospital gown I repeatedly pushed the nurse and pain button to no avail i even screamed until a nurse came on the intercom and I begged, pleaded, and asked them to just amputate my appendage to get rid of the pain since no one had even come in the room needless to say I ended up walking out after 2am still receiving no treatment hadn't seen the doctor or nurse at all other than the first nurse that took me to my room and took my blood right before she left for the night. I then had to go into another hospital where believe it or not i actually received care oh and fyi providence it was a blood clot thanks for not testing me if i would have gone home like i said i was going to and not to another hospital I'd be dead thanks for saving my life barely by making me walk out and drive to Seattle for REAL help guess you're lucky i didn't die on the trip maybe you should retrain your staff so they realize blood clotting disorders with an extremely low p/t inr and excruciating pain can be a very serious matter like life or death depending on how big the clot is when it breaks lose and where it travels i gave you all this info thanks for the near death experience I WON'T be back
Somehow, with the hospital overcrowded with flu patients, I was sent to the Oncology floor for my care. The staff in Oncology is fantastic. From the nurses to the house keepers they are all unbelievable. Always upbeat with a smile, a pleasant greeting and ready to help meet the patient s needs. While a four day stay in any hospital is never a happy experience, my time there (room A704], January 27th to 31st, was made less stressful than my previous 3 visit at Providence Hospital. The two staffers I saw the most were Nurses Dannielle and Karli. They kept , me on an even keel with their positive attitudes and willingness to help me through an uncomfortable time. I m sure my recovery was enhanced because of their proficiency in the performance of their jobs and their attitude toward my care. They are all Angels.
Thank you,
Dale Good

Staff incompetent and very rude. Very understaffed or staff extremely lazy.
I had a seizure and heart attack the 29th June, 2019. I had to be intubated and spent the next 4 days in the ICU. I have nothing but good things to say about the staff there. From the Doctors, Nurses, CNA's, Lab, Housekeeping, Dietary and everyone in between, these folks were very polite, helpful and friendly.
I am grateful for the expertise of the medical staff that saved my life that night, I can't possibly thank you enough

Great Hospital, one of the best in the North West. Emergency wait time is usually long but the services is great.
Had my children here!! Also my son is having surgery at this moment!! This is the best Hospital to go to!! Every staff member is caring, compasonate and makes sure your taken care of!!
Ok, I mean who says yeah! I just went to the doc, woohoo that was fun? Lol
When Dr. Liam Yore ordered his staff to hold me down and violently remove my clothing to force me into hospital clothes I have documented allergies to, he violated my rights under the American's with Disabilities Act, my human rights as defined by the Mental Health Patients Bill of Rights, my autonomy over my own body, and my trust in doctors to consider my health and safety. I have a documented history of PTSD from sexual assault, and what Liam Yore ordered his staff to do to me caused me to flashback to being raped as they held me down and rip my clothing off. It was horrifying, traumatic, and caused physical injury to my person. This is not treatment. It's not care. It's abuse.
the staff that helped me were amazing, friendly courteous. compared to st josepjs ,in bellingham. providence is like a 5star hotel. dr su very nice. first dr ive had that actually made his own calls, not have a nurse do it!!, called me at home twice.. great view of the water. providence hospital makes,st josephs in bellingham look like a veterinary office.
cant say enough about how nice staff were to me.
They will rock your face off! KTIL Tillamook Or.97141
Finest. Wonderful cheerful attitude prevails. Best staff you could find.
This hospital is on a downward spiral. Will likely take years to recover the damage I ve seen here. Avoid and check back in 5 years, hopefully will be on another upswing. Travelers beware!
Went to visit Family in hospital. We were there less than 30 minutes. Checked the parking kiosk as we exited to the parking garage, as the attendant recommend us. It said we owed nothing (under 30 minutes) waited in line to exit garage for over 5 minutes. Got to the attendant told them it said no charge at the kiosk, and still had to pay for parking for the under 30 minutes we were there. PAYING TO PARK AT A HOSPITAL IS ROBBERY. COMPLETE MONEY GRAB. Bathrooms are usually gross. And the ER wait is always 2+ hours. Go to Edmonds and get real help at Swedish.
Providence Hospital should take a long hard look at the manner in which they care for each individual patient. I have NEVER in my 20 yr medical career come even remotely close to experiencing the gross ethical prejudices they are shoving down their patients throats on a dayly basis. I would be mortified to admit I was even associated to this hospital in any way. SOMEONE have them take a step back and look at the huge discriminatory issues most of the staff exudes, and Im NOT referring to race. They have too many safegaurd programs in place to check on a patients continuing care, by the time a patient receives a call ....the crucial damage is done and the "trust" has been destroyed forever. For a "Christian Hospital" I am completely floored that they continue to trudge along. Dissapointed doesnt even scratch the surface when describing my feelings/experiences with Providence Medical Center:(
Wouldn t treat my infected hand and other ailments because I was homeless. Banned me from the hospital forever when I begged for help.
I drove from South Seattle to take my mom to what we thought was a routine appointment, that in fact turned out to be an operation. I find it rather amazing that whoever schedules these things can't be bothered to inform the patient that first, they are having a procedure done, and that second the person that is supposed to drive them home is just supposed to sit around outside the hospital for 4-8 hours. With no access to a bathroom.
Or last surgery, about 8 months ago, was scheduled for us to check in at 5:30 am, only to find out that they rescheduled her surgery for hours after the time we were told.
One of the better hospitals I've been to. My family has been treated well and cared for during our stays
Friendly professional staff good care team also the security present is safe and strong
Excellent service in emergency. Friendly staff, very professional. We are fortunate to have such a wonderful facility. Folks in their 80s, we have been here numerous times. We are grateful for the kind and caring staff, professional and thorough results.
Waited forever. When got to back seen dr once was told nurse would be right in to do iv and blood work. I waited an hr them called nurse. Nothing....waited 20 mins called and nothing. When finally nurse came in after she talked with another nurse and was talking down about me. Felt if my nurse could talk down about me what would my health care be to them. I walked out went home.
I can not believe a hospital charges parking. Great, not only did I receive an overpriced medical bill but ALSO, for the undetermined amount of time it could take here, I had to pay an extra parking fee?? I have never seen a hospital with a pay toll booth in their freaking parking garage. How pathetic and a clear way to show that care is not first priority here but profit is.
Oh, and if you are wearing a cloth mask they make you put a surgical mask on over it because that s effective. Smfh. I have never left a bad review for a hospital and of course it s due to BS executive decision making.
In the last month and a half I have been admitted twice for heart issues. The second trip I suffered respitory and heart failure. Since I am writing this the ER team obviously saved my life. I was in ICU for 3 days and then in the cardiac until for 4 more days. I had numerous tests and procedures done. Without exception I rate everyone I had contact with 5 Stars!!! The nurses were amazing, tending to more than the medical procedures but also my mental well being. The LPN's were attentive and always quick and available to any need I might have had. I even have to give props to the people that delivered my meals. They were professional and friendly making me feel special. They took pride in their job and always were warm and engaging. The food was pretty good too. I cannot give this facility enough stars.
This is the most horrible hospital I have been to in my life, there front security and desk are extremely rude and won t let anyone visit, they have the one person up at a time rule, but wouldn t let anyone go up still to see my family member which was in critical condition, i suggest to take an extra 15 minutes and drive to Swedish, this place is GARBAGE
My mom was taken into emergency. When I arrived I was allowed in right away no waiting. Her first nurse that checked her in was great she told her exactly what she was doing. The second one came in the room 2 times in her 4 hr shift. My mom needed to use the bathroom she waited as long as she could and no one came in her room for at least 10 minutes after I cleaned her up. Then no one came back into her room until the head nurse asked how she was being treated. I complained about her nurse. The last nurse we had was great. She went out of her way to make my mom as comfortable as she could. Our entire stay at the hospital was 10 hrs. I do understand that the nurses are busy but you do not ignore a call when an 80 yr old needs to use the bathroom.
Went in for major surgery nurses un caring. Staff not willing to send patients home with medication Dr ordered. This literally was the worst experience of my life. I went to have major surgery and be healed and when I left I was devastated. I can believe how staff treats patients and that Dr's allow this treatment of their patients. The staff here shows no respect or compassion for patients. I can't believe you can be in the medical field and have such disregard for human beings. Find a better hospital if you have to go here do it only in urgent situations. If you undergo surgery please find another hospital if you value your life at all this place is unacceptable and has no problem leaving you in severe pain and send you home from major surgery. Not right moral or ethical stay away.
There is a person (more than 1 I m sure) who publicly dismisses the use of masks. I tried to report them but there was no real response. If you go here and get COVID, it is because of their medical staffs lack of proper protection and education. The nurse I know is even advocating that everyone get it and letting the vulnerable DIE. If you are a vulnerable please do not risk the virus and go here, they don t care that their staff is spreading the virus. And if you go here and do get it, contact a lawyer. They were informed and didn t care.
Had emergency operation for Appendicitis. Diagnosed at 8pm, admitted at 9pm, operated at 10pm. Excellent care during the night. Great view of Puget sound. Released at 9am the next morning. One year later, no scars to show for the experience.
This hospital took excellent care of my grandfather when he was admitted for a stroke. Nurses were attentive to his needs and provided reassurance for our family during this very difficult time and we felt like they gave us the space to ask our questions and not feel judged or belittled. Providence was our saving grace right when we needed it! Thanks for the great care and compassion you showed to our family, we appreciate the service!
Was admitted for a blood clot in my lung at this crappy location. I'll never set foot in that dump again. I had a few decent nurses throughout my 3 days there. However, if you need anything and press your nurse button the lazy ass nurses that respond to your requests almost NEVER follow through. They always forget. Every time I'd get up to remind them, there was always a group of worthless nurses just sitting around chatting, not doing their jobs. To top that off, one of my "doctors" forgot to order my pain meds before going home!! Worst hospital ever!! Steer clear of that place and their worthless overpaid staff
Excellent hospital staff! This is ONLY for the pay parking garage. DO NOT GO IN!!!! Seriously; your charging to park at a hospital!!! How low can you go. Tried to leave with 4 cars in front which could not leave due to the pay system would not work, and no one in booth. Waited 20 minutes while this poor guy tried every thing to pay, but would not except his ticket. The person in front of him had the same problem but finally was able to get it to work. One person got out of their car and forced the gate up so the guy could leave. The system was broken and their was no way to pay or leave without getting out of the car and lifting the gate up to get out. 33 MINUTES TO GET OUT. The way the parking is set up to get in and out, no wonder cars are scratched as there is no room at that choke point. Freaking idiots.
Such a nice stuff and great service. Doctor Sanguego was really really nice and big help for me and my kids. So happy to have that kind of people they are taking care of us!
This place was great to us!!! My son was here for 2 weeks and Pediatric nurses and doctors were hands down amazing! One of the Orthopedists while in passing even asked how my son was doing!! Not to mention our Plastic Surgeon was also amazing!! Very happy with my son's care!!
Just sat in the ER for four hours with no help. I got checked in and than just waited and than when I went and asked where I as in line she just kept saying that I wasn't as sick as the other people. Who has the right to say that to Someone in pain? I was crying because I hurt so bad. The only reason I went there was because the walk in clinic doctor said I had to because I needed more help than what he could give me.
Got there at 1 am with severe pain, only 4 people ahead of me and no help from a doctor until 5 am.
Wait time is ridiculous for an emergency. These people are literally just letting people die here.
Oh my goodness! I can't believe that the ratings on this hospital are so low! EVERYONE I came into contact with were absolutely wonderful!!! My daughter had to have surgery and we ended up in here for a week stay. The staff are the best I have ever had to deal with. The surgeons were great and the nurses on C wing will forever be our favorites! And my daughter wanted to add that the admissions and emergency room were super quick! Thank you so much for getting my baby girl all better
I remember coming here a few times when I was younger. When my Grandma had a heart attack and when my mom had a stroke and a few other times. I remember every time going there, having to wait hours just to be seen. The time when my mom had a stroke, I remember being in the waiting room and there was a guy who was left in a wheelchair by himself, sitting there vomiting and coughing, with every one in the waiting room having to hear and see him vomit so violently with no one there helping him. He was just left there by himself. It definitely wasn't a pleasant experience every time we went there.
Had great medical care for surgery but once waited a long time at emergency room. The care was good after the wait though. Highly recommended walk in clinic before E.R. for wait times.
Haven't seen anything like this in my life, if you hired a group of turtles they could work faster than this staff. Waited there for 2.5 hours to be seen, then wanted me to wait 4 hours just for an MRI. Ridiculous, and nothing is taken seriously.
They are always so nice and kind when my kidneys act up
I came in to the hospital in severe pain come to find out I had a kidney infection all of the nurses were super kind and accommodating all of them were super genuine!! I highly recommend going here it is an amazing hospital
All of the nurses and doctors I've encountered here are all wonderful! They definitely work with me and treated me well
I was there for an emergency operation for my appendix
I'd never ever been a patient a hospital before I was scared as sh**. From pre op. to post op to the recovery wing with the nurses I could not have been treated better with kindness patience and care. They held my hand when I cried from fear and they explained everything to me as I needed to know. The nurses and their assistants give remarkable round the clock care and they are busy too. Many of the nurses can be mistaken for Doctors as they are very professional and just as knowledgeable as many Doctors are and seem to know just as much to aid care for and treat their patients There are several Doctors on a surgical team and one of them checks in on you each day. They calmed me and reassured me. The nurses and their assistants work with commitment from compassion they really want to be there to help. I wrote down 19 of their names. I was so impressed and they even held my hand late at night when administering my meds, IVs saline etc and assistance to the bathroom and answered my buzzer requests in good time to help with my needs.
I never ever want to go back to any hospital as a patient ever again, but if I had to it would be this one Thumbs Up to the Medical Surgical Nursing recovery wing at 10 South D wing G-d Bless Love David the scared older guy with the Teddy Bear :)
You could literally be dying and they will still make you wait for an hour OR MORE!
The nurses and doctors are fabulous. However why is it that you can schedule surgery for a certain time and 12 hours later you aren't going home but they have no room for you. This will be my dads 2ND surgery here in 3 months and each time he goes in with an appointment the surgery is delayed by hours, and even when the surgery is done there is still no available room. We arrived here before 7am this morning for an "early morning surgery" on an empty stomach. He finally went back for surgery at 1:45pm. My dad who is also diabetic has had no food ALL DAY!!! Whoever is in charge of scheduling here needs to go back to school. Terrible to make patients and their families wait all day.
The men and women of this medical center provided excellent care for a truly awful patient(me), and I commend them for their hard work. The staff and emergency staff have good qualities and all of them sound like they know exactly what they are doing.
My father has been in and out several times only to end up landing in another ER due to this hospital's inept ability. Because his coverage is Medicare they kick him out within 48 hours without even figuring out the actual problem. The providers in the observation units have no power to treat the patients and diagnose properly. Providence is too concerned about what your insurance will or will not cover and could care less about patient care. Snohomish county needs another large hospital that cares.
In the last two years I have had three visits to this ER. None of those visits have had a positive outcome. The tone is set when you enter the hospital and have to go through a metal detector and be questioned by security and in one case a police officer. You are forced to tell security what your health concerns are to get through to the next round of questioning. The staff is rude. With the exception of one friendly security guard. My mother in law was choking and the nurse rolled her eyes and gave her Ativan in her IV without telling her even when she asked what she was giving her. Another time we waited 8 hours to see a doctor about what we thought was a dislocated shoulder. Every visit we have had the same experience, rude staff that shows little compassion and even less empathy for the patients who seek care in their ER.
Good hospital. Check in staff was friendly and helpful. Medical professionals were complete. The only reason I didn't provide a 5 star rating was the charge for parking in the garage. I kind of took it as a money grab on the sick people. It's in Everett, not downtown Seattle. Parking is not limited in this area.
I am currently admitted. Got here Sunday with copd exasperation. Two nights in ICU. The nurses doctors and staff are all wonderful. Thank you Providence, you are my heroes.
Poor service......I had to wait 40min before my baby was seen
So unsanitary and rude. There was fluids on the floors and countertops from a prior patient. Also, my doctor was completely uncaring. He let me bleed all over my clothing, he opened needles and put them back without throwing them away, he dropped the forceps he used on me on the ground and then picked them back up and continued using them on me because he didn't want to open a new kit. Next when he started to numb me with the shots, he literally stabbed into my arm pretty aggressively and sloppily and I obviously 'screamed' in reaction, and he continued without a simple "are you okay". After I had gotten stitches, (which I'm no doctor but me and my boyfriend agree he only gave me 3 stitches when I should've gotten 6.), the next following hour felt like me avoiding a bunch of advert offers because he kept pulling everything he could just to rack up the price. "oh you need an X-ray, oh you need these shots," when none were necessary. Overall my visit was a nightmare and I'm still very upset.
I received excellent care and almost all the staff was caring, compassionate and willing to address any of my needs. I was there for eight days and I felt safe and in the best care. The wait in emergency is the only reason I gave it four stars rather than five but I understand there's a high threshold for patients needing care and they likely do their best to accommodate people based on the circumstances at the time. I would recommend this hospital to anyone, especially if they are dealing with an urgent need for medical care. My mother also was treated there in cardiac arrest and her surgeon, procedure, and follow up care went better than I could have expected with a full recovery. Great hospital!
Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, but cleanliness is deplorable. Dried blood on bed rails, used and full urinal left in room, and general lack of cleanliness. If they step up their game on cleanliness this would be a much more respectable place.
Had a burst appendix while on duty travel at the Boeing factory. Was rushed to the hospital where i had the best service ever including the best view of the coast.
I wish to thank the staff for getting me back on my feet in such a short space of time.
I would like to thank Dr Karen for attending to burst appendix.
I was able to start walking at 22h00 after coming out of theatre at 17h45.
Food was good also with Wifi provided for free.

I have never been treated so badly in my life. My child suffered a head injuries and completely lost conciseness like any parent of a small child I rushed her to the er closest to me. At the door before you can even check in they have a prison type security with a metal detector and illegal search. The security only gets people through at a snails pace stopping to talk to other employees and showing zero concern for the patients medical needs as they can't even check in until security feels like letting them through. I know the law these are completely illegal searches and if you have been mistreated by the security contact a lawyer you do have a case. The security guard threatened to not let my child be seen when it is completely illegal for any er to refuse treatment. Once we finally got through that the staff at the desk was rude and down right hateful. I heard them tell several patients that they will wait as long as they say and refuse to even speak to one patient who was in extreme distress. It gets worse in the female bathroom a woman was found completely unconscious on the floor it did appear to be drug related but instead of taking care of the woman they woke her up escorted her out refusing to treat her. I understand her condition was drug related but that doesn't mean she deserves to die. Again it is illegal for Any er to refuse treatment for any reason. This woman wasn't even checked out by a doctor just kicked out. The front staff spent most of their time on their cell phones and chatting with each other and acting like the patients were a huge bother anytime someone asked a question one of them was good she's younger and blond she was kind and caring but her kindness was over shadowed by the the rest of them. So after 2.5-3 hours waiting a nurse finally called my daughter and once we got back it was a completely different place our nurses were kind and caring listening to my daughter talk about her video games and stuffed animals while providing great care. The doctor was not only extremely knowledgeable but showed concern for putting my child through tests that weren't needed. My daughter received an ekg and he checked everything without the unnecessary doses of radiation that CT would give a small child. I wish I could give 2 reviews a zero star for front and 5 stars for back. The front is like a prison and the back a hospital it's like I went to a different place it's so day and night. There was a lot of drug addicts there which is not the hospitals fault but the way they were treated was. I sat in the back of the waiting room because I wanted to keep my daughter away from the addicts and germs they tend to carry I still believe in my heart that they should be treated with respect and dignity and that is not what I saw. If you can avoid this hospital do so the Monroe er is right off of hw 2 and the Arlington off of 9 both are a bit of a drive but you will be treated quicker and better I was so scared after seeing my child faint and her little head Smash off of the door into a counter that I felt I needed to get her to the closest er I could. I have instructed my husband if I need emergency medical treatment to take me to Monroe not because of the medical staff because I would rather risk my health than be treated like a criminal and be threatened to not receive medical care by their FOH (front of house) staff. I suggest you retrain the entire FOH they act like they hate their jobs and take it out on the patients I'm convinced that they would let people die in the waiting room without contacting the medical staff in the back because of how rude, hateful, and resentful they treat all the patients including a 9y/o who fainted and her head getting hit in the front and back which wasn't her fault.
The Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit was exceptional. I highly recommend it to anyone coming out of a stroke. My mother who is 88 years old had a clot on her right brain stem causing weakness on her left side, and difficulties swallowing. She had three hours a day of PT, OT, and ST.We were there for 9 days and were able to transition to her home effortlessly. The care there was professional, kind, gentle and compassionate which made leaving my mother there at nights alone not a problem that I worried about so that I could go home and also be well rested to be there in the morning to learn along with her steps to bring her back to her active lifestyle of traveling, gardening, and living independently. Thank you to the staff on the 2nd floor Providence Everett acute inpatient rehabilitation program!
Clean, staff was friendly...couldn't buy coffee since it's only open to staff (cafeteria might be the same but I didn't look) nor find a vending machine during the pandemic. Next time I will bring my own refreshments
I had appendix removal surgery back in February. When I went in early morning I got into a room pretty quick they drew blood & put an iv in me but they didn't even give me anything for my pain. They told me they were gonna do a cat scan to see what was causing the pain but I waited over a couple hours for it. Once I finally got the scan it was to long after they told me I had appendicitis. After that is when I got some medication for the pain which by the way was the worse pain I've ever felt. Once they told me the results I spoke to a surgeon giving me the option to just take medications to take away the pain or have surgery to remove it. Of course I wanted surgery I didn't want the pain to come back. I was scheduled to have surgery at 12:30pm when that time came they told me the surgery was postponed till 3:30pm I waited all that time for surgery when my appendix could have ruptured anytime I should not have had to wait that long for it when it could have gotten more serious. I get there's other patients who may have had something worse but if it ruptured in me I would have to have emergency surgery. The only thing that was good was the nurses & doctors were so nice to me but that doesn't change the fact I had to wait so long for something this serious. The two stars are for everyone being nice to me & not having to wait to get checked in.
My mom had a major surgery there less than a week ago she s finally home today. While she was there she was neglected by nursing staff and had to wait over an hour for pain meds after a MAJOR SURGERY. She had breast reconstruction surgery, they took fat from her stomach and put it in her chest. She had a singular mastectomy due to breast cancer. So she had a hard time getting up to go to the bathroom. She almost peed herself having to wait over 30 minutes to go to the bathroom, I eventually had to just get one of the nurses in the hallway to help her. Then the same DAY I had to yell at nurses to get someone to come into her room to get her pain meds have her insulin checked have her incision checked because she had an infection that was getting worse. Once they finally came in they brought two nurses and one of which kept glaring at me thinking that he would have to be security or something, then the head nurse came in and asked if we were okay with our care. It s so ridiculous to think that I had to yell for my mother to get the care she needs and deserves and get three nurses to come in. Now I m not bad mouthing nurses they are some of the hardest working people, but these nurses should be reprimanded for such neglect.
Went to ER on the 14th of December, worst experience ever! We waited in the waiting for 3+ hours, front desk staff told us there is no empty beds. Than when we finally get the room had to wait for dr.and than for ultrasound tech who took over 2 and half to get to our room. It was bad experience, if it would be true emergency(good thing that my bleeding stop a little) you/I would be dead by the time they will admit you and see you.
My husband had a heart attack and I was in and out of the parking garage ,I had tears in my eyes and was very upset. Greg in the parking booth at the entry was the most amazing and compassionate person I have met in a long time. This man was so patient and so caring. He is a gem and hopefully he is appreciated for his compassion and caring self when people need it the most. Thank you Greg so much and I pray you are blessed .
I've been in here with a crushed knee since Sunday night. I'll be first to admit I'm not the greatest patient. Evedently I did something to piss someone off, as I'm now getting no help and am moving around on my own, which is NOT supposed to be happening!!!
I have had three surgerys at Colby Campus my last was i lost part of my lung due to cancer i was treated very well i never was in need of things. My doctors are the best they gave me more time in life.I would do it again.virginia Hamilton
Worst hospital 3hrs everyone after me has come and gone now a whole me room full of patience and I'm still here wow they suck
I took my five year old son in because he was going to need stitches on his head! And the nurse and the doctor that took care of my sons were so kind and nice to him. God bless their hearts!
Can't believe you are changing for parking. Places like Kaiser offer free valet.
Slowest ER ive ever been to, zero helpfulness and attention.
This is where my entire family and my services are. I do have a few concerns with some service aspects.
After having surgery here I have had numerous problems.
The communication between Doctors and other staff members is very lacking.
I am told one thing and something that is totally different happens.
The nurses are fantastic. Great attitude and service.
Part of the care for my condition was a learning experience for most of the nurses. They were completely unprepared to deal with it.
As it stands now I have been here 14 days and can't get out. One excuse after another for not releasing me. I feel I am being kept here because I have good insurance coverage not because I need the care.
I have gone 6 days without food because I have refused to have another feeding tube placed down my nose.
Some of the staff have gotten an attitude because I am demanding answers.
When I told them that I wanted to sign myself out of the hospital, I was told that if I did my insurance company would not pay my bill.
I should have died in a car accident, I broke 3 lumbar vertebrae and nearly severed my right leg. I was rushed from Monroe (past death valley) and straight to Prov evt. My care team was amazing. The neuro surgeon that did my 5 vertebrae fusion and the surgeon that reconstructed my leg and re-attached my nerve did a great job. The physical therapist that listened to me when I said I was going to walk out of that place and the rest of the nursing staff was amazing. There was a couple things that I could gripe about but in the scheme of things I lived and can walk. A big thank you to the staff and doctors that help us daily. You guys are the true super heroes.
Bad customer services nurses are mean my first and every time I go .never ever want to go here no more .
I was here for 2 weeks & the care I received was amazing! At one time my blood sugars dropped to 25, if they had not been giving me exceptionally good care I would probably not be here today!
Everyone was great! Food was wonderful, as well as their services. Definitely a 5+!
My surgery went really well. My doctor did s good job with my surgery. The nurses who came in the morning were really good in explaining everything. The nurse after surgery woke me up out of my anesthesia after a hour. She got me up out of the bed got me dressed and wanted to get me discharged right away. Then my boyfriend was there with me. He was in the waiting room when I went into surgery and staff made him leave cause he had a cough. They could of had him put on a mask. Then they had me hurry up to get ahold of him to come and get me. I dont appreciate that they made him leave. That is being discriminated against.
Providence in general is a joke.. Can t stand their hospital and clinics. Everett clinic takes better care of their patients.
My OB care was wonderful, I was monitored carefully being a high risk pregnancy. Hats off to the wonderful people who cared for me and my beautiful baby. She is almost three now! This should say Ariel Granot, Joshua is my son lol!
Our advice is that if you face possible long term hospitalization, go somewhere other than Providence Hospital of Everett. My 34 year old son was re-admitted to Providence two weeks ago due to a non-healing, infected wound from surgery he had at Providence two months before. He contracted a MRSA infection which required a direct line catheter for administration of long term IV treatment. For the past two weeks he has had very attentive and overall excellent care as a patient on the 10th floor. Projected to be hospitalized for up to 6 weeks, he brought several personal belongings to the hospital to make his stay more tolerable, with the complete approval of the 10th floor staff. Tonight, a staff nurse came in to say his room on the 10th floor was needed for another patient and that my son was to be moved to a different floor. He ended up on ward 3A. His experience in this ward has been degrading at best, and extremely upsetting to my son. All his belongings from the 10th floor were immediately confiscated by the 3rd floor staff. Emphasize all his belongings. They went through his personal things including his wallet and even his underware, and searched the hospital bed and bedding he has been using for the past two weeks, Visiting hours are restricted, while unrestricted on other floors. He is not allowed to have any metal items, ie potentially dangerous to himself or others. When asked why the draconian rules of the 3rd floor, he was told it was policy. When asked whose policy, he was told by no less than security personnel, that they were not obligated to explain anything to him. He is in fact being treated as if a prisoner. If a hospital administrator does not correct this situation first thing in the morning, we will be contacting a lawyer.
Two family members were cared for in the Hospice program. Our family was impressed by the attention, tenderness and care each one of our loved ones received. Thank you to the nurses, doctors and many caregivers who place the comfort and well-being of others above their own!
Zero stars. Negative 10 stars, actually. This establishment is BY FAR the worst "medical" establishment I have EVER had the misfortune of dealing with. I sat in this emergency room literally dripping with blood for over 7 hours. I literally had to clean my blood off the floor by myself (which is hard to do from a wheelchair) and could not even get a bandaid... I am now trying get an appointment with my g.p. (also a Providence provider) to have my broken ankle set, and there is no record of the 10+ plus xrays that were taken of my ankles and knees. But, Im being told that if I wish to WALK in there!!!! they can make me a c.d. of the non existent xrays, the ones the xray tech actually KICKED the wheelchair pedal that my broken foot was on, and never even acknowledged that his actions literally brought me to gushing tears from the pain of it. Please put the PROFUSE amount of xrays in my chart so that my Dr. can access them and set my broken ankle.
Of all my surgeries, my mothers heart attacks, my husbands appendectomy...we have all had stellar service and care. None of us have any complaints at all. The staff was on point, the surgical teams fantastic and they listened to every thing we had to say. Awesome place.
Horrible experience. Went with my mother to the ER because she was having chest pain. They ran test but gave her nothing for the pain, nothing for what was causing the chest pains, and SENT HER HOME. Waste of 5 hours!! Plus, we were not aware that you had to PAY to park in the garage to go the the emergency room for CHEST PAIN. If I could, I would never go back. The staff did not care, they did not seem to care that my mother was in pain, and just poor service.
I've had to visit here a few times with the kiddos. The waiting room is nice for.. a hospital.. couple big screen TVs. A couple things for the kids to play with sand table, wall toys. And fairly comfortable waiting chairs.
Asking for my religion ?????
I took my child to the ER on 5/4/2016. The staff is wonderful and helpful starting from the receptionist, nurses and the doctor.
Only one thing is really bother me is when the registration lady asked me for my religion,
Pay for parking at a hospital is an abomination, especially for emergency. Sure you can get your ticket validated afterwards but the validation only last for 5 minutes, hope you make it out in 5 minutes. The security scanner is a joke, It doesn't actually detect anything its just for show.
This place is so focused on COVID policy they don t take care of people in the emergency room. Took my cancer stricken brother in law for help and they would not allow me to help him in the ER waiting room. He was left to his own and he can t take care of himself nor understand what is going on. Staff did not help as he slumped in his chair passing out. Nobody would allow me to help him. I had to watch from outside. Complete lack of care in this place. If you need real help, call 911 and have the aid car take you directly to a room.
