The Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit was exceptional. I highly recommend it to anyone coming out of a stroke. My mother who is 88 years old had a clot on her right brain stem causing weakness on her left side, and difficulties swallowing. She had three hours a day of PT, OT, and ST.We were there for 9 days and were able to transition to her home effortlessly. The care there was professional, kind, gentle and compassionate which made leaving my mother there at nights alone not a problem that I worried about so that I could go home and also be well rested to be there in the morning to learn along with her steps to bring her back to her active lifestyle of traveling, gardening, and living independently.
