Proper Cloth is highly recommended. I had a great experience with everything. I placed my order and the shirt came in a couple weeks later. As for fit, it was a little larger than I had anticipated. I washed it a few times to ensure it wasn't going to shrink enough to fit. Proper Cloth was notified and they instantly started remaking my shirt. Each shirt was received a day prior to the delivery estimate. No complaints, I will be ordering from Proper Cloth again.

Ordered a mask, got an email a week later that it had shipped, and an email 6 hours after that stating the order had actually been canceled due to the item being out of stock.
Very professional and high end product, delivered quickly and in my opinion on par with the many high end luxury products (ie. Oxxford Clothes etc..) If you have measurements saved for the various looks you are trying to achieve, its nice to pick the fabric and attach the saved sizing, saving a great deal of time..
Amazing custom product for the price. There is literally no reason to purchase off the rack any longer. Their customer service is great, too. I had to have a shirt re-made, because I didn't calculate my measurements correctly. I simply took a few photos of the fit, returned it and they made another one free of charge. My new measurements are now on file, so re-ordering is easy.
Proper Cloth is my go-to for dress shirts. Because I'm more stocky, and buying a shirt off the rack based on my neck size, I can never find anything like a custom made shirt. It's the only place I buy dress shirts. Highly recommended.
Pitiful - these folks are disorganized, untruthful and don't really seem to care. I ordered a shirt prior to the date they advertised for it to be completed for Christmas delivery, called to verify with an extremely unhelpful and bored customer service agent (chalked this up to the holidays) and placed my order. Was alerted it shipped on the 19th. Later, the tracking update stated it would arrive after Christmas despite advertisements and assurance by the first customer service agent. I have spoken to two customer service agents since, who although they are trying to help, are ineffective and have not been equipped with any meaningful information. Shirt has still not arrived (as of December 30); supposedly it's in New York. I have asked to speak to a supervisor, but unsurprisingly, no response. They want to know if I want the shirt remade, hmmm, fool me once......

I suffer from the "dad bod" with a slight athletic build resulting in a broader shoulder/chest and fitness neglect resulting in a slight beer belly. This means i'm in between sizes in most department store brands. To get the right slim fit in chest/waist I end up trading off in a smaller neck size. To get the right neck size, I end up with excess fabric in the chest and waist, resulting in the "blousing" effect. Enter Proper Cloth. Based on one recommendation, I took an off-the-rack shirt that fit me close to what I wanted then sized down from there. It took a couple of tries to get the exact measurements right but the process was painless in both time and money, given their policy of no-cost alterations on your first shirt. Proper Cloth's customer service is top-notch and responded quickly to my inquiries and remade my shirt to new measurements without question or delay. I plan to rebuild my dress shirt wardrobe from Proper Cloth over time.

I used to spend $300+ on quality custom business shirts. Proper Cloth is the antidote to this horrible value proposition - get the same thread count for half the price. Ask your wife or girlfriend to take 5 minutes worth of measurements, and order a couple. Two or three orders later you ll have your taste and fit completely dialed in, and ready to replace / upgrade your old collection of shirts that are breaking down at the cleaners and no longer in style.

The best thing since sliced bread! Hands down. I went into the shop in March and got fitted. Then I ordered my first shirt a popover. After it arrived I have not stopped wearing it any chance I get. I just recently order some dress shirts, cashmere sweater and a sport coat. Very pleased. With one exception on the sport coat make that two exceptions one is the patch pockets and the other is the fit around the midsection. I guess that will serve as inspiration to get back in the gym!
After years of buying shirts off the shelf with that "garbage bag" fit I stumbled upon Proper Cloth. At first I was a little hesitant to shell out $100 or more for a shirt but I was already paying around $80 for my preferred shirt so I figured why not. For a guy like me (6'5", 220lbs) finding a shirt that fit well was impossible. If it fit well in the arms and body it was way too short and if it was long enough, it was big enough to fit 3 of me. I hated the look of a shirt that billowed out at the waist and Proper Cloth was my solution. I've now ordered 5 shirts from them and every one has been perfect. I never worry about the fit when ordering and the options are endless so I know I'll get exactly what I want. Just a word of advice, if you can't decide between fabrics, read the reviews and spend a little extra if necessary, you won't regret it.
i was skeptical initially about this service, mostly about getting the fit correct. But i have been pleasantly surprised about how close they got on the first attempt. From here a few tweaks with the help of their style experts will make the fit perfect and essentially equal to a true bespoke shirt. Quality of construction is nice and they have a wide range of cloth choices. I will definitely use them going forward.
I ordered a 3-pack of the masks that go around the head. They are comfortable and stay over my nose much better than any ear-loop mask I have tried. Keep up the good work, Proper Cloth!!
I recently bought a men's long sleeve button down shirt. I followed the washing instructions and the shirt shrunk after one washing. It's a least one size smaller especially in the sleeves and length. I paid over $100 for a shirt I cannot wear. You lost a Customer!
I love these shirts! The fabric choices and construction are great and I can't believe how well they fit. I've worn several different brands but these work better than my more expensive Gitman Bros shirts that I have to tailor after buying and I think PC has better fabrics as well.
Took a few tries, but finally got a great fit down that I'll certainly be buying over and over again. Service was fast and friendly (both in-person and online), and the showroom is pretty swanky. Even got offered some whisky while I waited.
I expected a lot for a $170 shirt from the internet and thankfully I wasn't disappointed. The fit is the best of any shirt I own - and I own some pretty darn good fitting shirts. When I reached out to customer service about my issue, they were no help, even implied I was making up the discount I was trying to get. I took a screenshot of the email to prove that is what I got from the company and was simply told "Thanks for the clarification", but no attempt to honor their sale. I love PC. After receiving my first order years back, the fit, finish and choice of fabrics are top quality. i have not purchased any shirts off the rack ever since. Excellent experience with Proper Cloth. I had some issues with the fit of my sleeves after using their online smart sizing feature. I sent them some pictures and they made several suggestions which improved not only the sleeves, but other areas of the shirt as well. These are good quality shirts that will last. Any company that lets you try it first then wash it and see how it fits is not concerned about the shirt not being what they said. This is the only place where I will get my masks. They even come in a size Large, which fits even my big head! (OK, my head's not that big, but still). It's nice to have the elastic that goes around the neck and the head, as opposed to around the ears. You might pay a little bit more, but it is definitely worth it for the fit and the quality.

Over-head, linen mask. Really EXCELLENT quality and design! But the small runs VERY small. I ordered it for myself--I normally wear a womans small or regular--but its much too tight. Its much better suited for a child.
The best and now ONLY way I will buy shirts anymore. These guys nailed the business model, the quality, the fit, the customer service....everything. They flat knocked it out of the park. It takes a little work to get the 1st shirt and fit, but man when you get dialed in and start to get shirts that hug your body and fit you like a glove and look like a million dollars and people start to ask you - hey I like that shirt, where did you get that?......yeah it happens. On a regular basis too. No One in my office has shirts that fit like I do. My wife laughs now if we ever find an old shirt and put it on. I used to look like Matthew Perry or Ross in FRIENDS based off how baggy my old clothes fit, but now - It's BOSS mode time. The only downside is that as soon as you buy one of these shirts, You'll want and can easily buy 20 more, and will never where another shirt you have in your existing/old wardrobe ever again. Once I got my new shirts, I instantly donated all my old ones or just stopped wearing them, and had to order over a dozen new Proper Cloths because they're that good.

Causal informal is not yet business normal. So I've purchased and worn a lot of shirts and even had shirts custom made locally. The biggest problem is change! Change in size, change in style and change in use not to mention change in material. Proper Cloth makes it easy! From the comfort of your own home you select from a very wide selection of materials, colors and patterns and then apply a variety of options frequently seen only at the finest private shirt makers. Vary your pocket, buttons, cuff, collar and more to suit your taste. Want a longer shirt because you have a longer trunk - no problem. Want one cuff wider to accommodate your favorite gigunda watch - no problem! Best of all - a great price. And if you screwed up the fit they will work with you to fix it. That's because the only risk is getting the measurements right which means following directions and using a tape measure. No, you can't do it digitally yet but who knows what's coming. I do know that when that can be done - Proper Cloth will be doing it!

I had never bought custom fitted shirts on line.... I never thought it possible. I had a cruise coming up, and decided to retire my old Tuxedo shirt. I followed the fitting guidelines and from a description of my height weight etc the shirt came in fitting like a charm With one exception. The sleeves were too short. This is strange as the sleeves size recommended is the one I wear on off the rack shirts. In any case, I called the NYC based Customer Service number (I repeat that is a NYC based CSR.... not overseas) I explained the problem and they decided to ship new shirts right away and credit me back when they received my free return. This all worked like a charm. I now have my correct shirt size on their file. I will be surely using it again.
Got a shirt from proper cloth. Always had a very tough time finding something to fit right given my athletic build. Everything out in stores assumes everyone has a gut. All the sizing options worked out. Shirt fit amazing. Proper cloth is expensive to be sure, but the best (and only way I have now) to get a shirt to fit the way I want.
It takes a bit of time to get your fit dialed in, but in the long run it is worth it. If you have trouble finding shirts that fit properly, this is the place.
