I'm a skinny man who needs tapered shirts and nothing has ever fit me ever. Problem solved, permanently. I went into this place, got fitted, got my shirt, went in for a re-fitting, and now I have a perfect dress shirt fit and can order a new shirt or several anytime I want and just KNOW it will be my shirt. The customer support is great as well. I plan to be wearing Proper Cloth shirts for years if not decades. As long as you can make it into their store for that critical first fitting, I suspect you will too.

These shirts look and feel great. I ordered the wrong collar on my second one, and getting it fixed is a snap.

Best shirts I've ever purchased (bought 1, then 3, then 2 more).

Tried many other brands in the same price range (Bbrothers, jcrew, bonobos, Cmonaco, Tpink, etc) and none come close. They say "perfect fit the first time" and I was extremely surprised when that turned out to be true since I've had issues finding a proper fitting shirt. Not only are do the fabrics look and feel top notch but they have a wide variety to choose from. If you can't go to their nyc showroom then you have the option to order fabric samples online. Even if you don't need a dress shirt I would try their casual shirts just because they fit so well.

They have a modern minimal website (unlike other large clothing brands) along with great customer service (they answered my specific questions quickly and accurately). I appreciate their no nonsense business model (very reasonably priced, high quality information on every shirt, limited discount pricing model). This is how an ecom business should be run.

Awesome way to get the best-fitting shirts you will ever have the pleasure of wearing. Quality is top notch. It may take a few tries of adjusting 1/4" at a time to get the size perfect, but once you do, you will never want to wear off-the-rack again.

The only place to shop for big guys. If you cannot shop off-the-rack, get yourself measured. You'll never go back to the department store, afterwards. Nothing beats custom-made clothing. The site saves your measurements for each order, making return visits a snap.

I've purchased 3 shirts so far and they are beautiful. Great web site to walk you through the sizing/ordering. Fast shipping and a great looking product. I will never buy an off the rack shirt again. Spend a few extra dollars and get something you love to wear and makes you look like a million bucks.

I get most of my shirts from Proper Cloth, now. I'm 6'2" and 185 lbs, so finding shirts off the rack that fit is difficult. I love Proper Cloth. If you can visit their corporate HQ in NYC. It was a great expereince. If not their virtual fitting sessions are a great option as well. The shirts are a great value and second to none when it comes to quality.

Definitely amazing shirts. They have many creative and deliberate patterns, thoughtful constructions, and provide your the ability to make intelligent choices about your shirt. I have never had any shirts that fits so well and have stayed tucked in before

This is my source for shirts. Their service is beyond compare. I don't use hyperbole often. I have ordered custom shirts for almost two years and have been more than happy with the fabric, fit and service. It's just a great total package.

I just ordered some Japanese Pique material for short and long sleeved polos. I have a medical hernia which I want to cover up and the custom tailoring allows me to do that. On this order, I made a mistake on the web based custom design tool that resulted in two shirts with features I did not want. To be sure, this was my mistake.

When the shirts arrived, they were configured incorrectly because of my mistake. Without hesitation, I was advised how to return the custom shirts at no expense whatsoever to me. My account was credited in full without any forms or waiting on hold to accomplish this. My personal assistant guided me through a re-order process to ensure that the replacement shirts were configured properly.

New shirts were shipped directly to me in record time. They fit and are configured perfectly. My punishment is to write this review; which I am more than happy to do. I could not imagine a better process. I've never experienced any better customer service for any product or service. I am really impressed. They have a customer for life.

The shirts from Proper Cloth look great! I'd like to especially thank Martel for his great customer service. I had an issue with shirt tears near the elbow and he helped adjust my arm-length measurements so that my elbows don't blow through and also gave me a credit to reorder the shirts that had torn.

every body is different. having custom shirts made to fit my unique proportions and preferences is terrific.

Great dress and sport shirt fabrics with custom fit and a range of options that s simply amazing. It took a little work to create my perfect fit at home, but the instructions were excellent and the offer to remake the first shirt makes it even better. I highly recommend to all my friends.

I had only Found out about Proper Cloth a short time ago, while searching for Long Sleeve Men's Linen Shirts. I have now purchased several different Shirts from them, and they have all been absolutely superb. The fit and tailoring has been top notch, and the materials used have all been very high quality. I highly recommend them!

Shirts fit very well. Be mindful that the measurements normally allow for a healthy amount of space around the waist, so if you are slimmer consider adjusting the allowance that is normally added on the website. Also if you have an athletic build may need to adjust the shoulder slope.

Awesome experience! I had to return a shirt that didn't fit after using their 'smart sizing' feature. Paulina from Proper Cloth looked at the pictures I sent and updated my shirt size according to my unique physique. They sent me a brand new shirt and updated my profile with the proper size. Web site is an extreme wealth of information that allows you to design great shirts without actually seeing/feeling the shirts. Customer service was world class and extremely responsive! They live up to their perfect fit promise and I will be a happy customer for years to come.
