I have purchased several shirts from Proper Cloth. Their website is very easy to work. You can save designs and sizes that work for you. Every shirt fits comfortably, and I am not easy to fit due to ratio of neck, shoulder and arm length.

They have great customer service. This is not an overnight delivery type of retail offering because they custom make the shirts but if you can wait, you will be pleased with the quality.

It can not be beat for service,quality or cost. All go to make it a great value. When my first shirt didn't fit well because of my own error I was fitted properly and give a replacement. Since I have ordered 3 shirts all perfect

Measuring at home is simple, with reliable explanations on the site, and the company even provides a list of diagnoses of fitting problems based on common issues. I like the fabric a lot, just wish it was a little more opaque. That being said, I ll likely purchase this exact same shirt when it wears out.

I have spent lots of time and money searching for fitted shirts both online and in department stores. I was tired of placing orders for shirts that were advertised as "fitted" then receiving a shirt that is "one size fits all" so to speak.. Proper Cloth sent me a custom fitted shirt on my first order. The fit and quality are great; just as advertised. The shirt fits me perfectly. The price is worth it.

The gold standard. Every thing about these guys is top drawer. Their attention to detail is just without peer. For example, my test shirt arrived and I noticed it was ever-so-tight around the forearm. I figured I could get used to it but I sent in pictures anyway. The support contact noticed and brought it to my attention!
She insisted that I return the shirt for alteration and suggested two ways to make adjustments. I picked one and then the following shirts fit me like a second skin.
The construction is on par with my made-to-measure Brooks Brothers and the selection of fabrics is almost as broad.

There is something special about a perfect fitting shirt! My first shirt was a little off, but after working through the easy online adjustment suggestions, the next shirt was perfect. Love the contrast options for the collar and sleeves. Really makes the shirts stand out when the tie comes off. They are in New York, I am in Texas, but everything was easy to do. I will buy all of my shirts from them! Try it!

Tailored clothes can be expensive. If you have a hard time finding good fitting clothes at traditional retailers, sometimes you don't have a choice. So Proper Cloth is great find. Not overly expensive, but definitely high quality. Selection is impressive from materials, patterns and styles. If could afford it, I'd buy all my shirts from them.

Photos and descriptions are spot on. And all my shirts have been delivered when they say it will.

This is a great way to get a custom fitted shirt without going to a tailor. You just need to know your collar size, sleeve length, and (suit) jacket size. Answer less than 10 questions, and viola! custom fitted shirt. If the first one doesn't fit just right, take a picture and they will figure out what went wrong and send you a corrected one at no charge. It's hard to go wrong, and they seem to constantly add new colors and styles to the menu.

Most men do not conform to the industry standard sizing. Additionally, fabrics and patterns are not as diversified as we would want. Proper Cloth solves these and more.

In my 40s, I finally turned to the idea of custom shirts - both for business and casual - after years of struggling to get the right fit and always having to have off-the-peg shirts tailored. I was delighted with this service - definitely a bit of effort to sort the sizing remotely, but don't worry too much, as you get a free remake. Mine was out in a couple of areas, so took the photos suggested, sent back and had rapid feedback from Customer Service with revised sizes; the new order was already created for me and adjusted sizes saved when I logged in. Needless to say the second shirt was spot on. Subsequent orders have been easy and the selection of fabrics is amazing.

In sum, if you are craving a perfect fit for your shirt, this is the place for you. Be patient at the start - it won't cost you any more - and you'll have sizes refined in a heartbeat!

Shirts didn't fit the first two times, but third time did the trick. Totally customizable and tons of fabrics to choose from.

I know it's a little daunting to order anything made to measure online. I was hesitant too, but these guys make it so easy!

I tried other tailored clothes store online prior to proper cloth, and most of the time I always need alteration after, but Proper cloth scored a 98 with my first shirt, 98% perfect fit for me, I only need 1/4 inch fix at my mid section of the shirt, maybe I just lost a few pounds while waiting for the shirt. Second and third shirts are being made :)

Proper Cloth has the best masks on the market! I have to wear a mask at work all day and these stay on great, even while talking. They fit behind your head comfortably, I wear the elastic around my neck and it stays on great. They have a bendable nose piece for a snug fit and help keep my glasses from fogging. They also have a reusable and washable filter. Theses mask are definitely worth the money. I m buying more now. They wash well, wear well, and look great. I wear the small, they fit my 9 and 11 year old great too.

Only place I buy my shirts now. Very easy to use and they ship you everything you need to return it with the shirt, for FREE ADJUSTMENTS. Don't stress if you don't know how or don't trust yourself to measure yourself.

Just find your favorite dress shirt, go to the website for the store you bought it from and get the shirt measurements from there. Then think about everything that is slightly off. E.g. sleeves are always too short for me because I am tall and thin and thus wear a traditional medium, so I add a few quarter inches. I like my collar to fit right up against the skin, so i make the collar a bit smaller. I make the shirt longer so it stays tucked in better, and then I make it thinner in the chest and waste so it looks very well tailored.

You will notice a huge difference and so will others, consciously or subconsciously.

What a great virtual shop to do your made-to-order. Really, I think I don't have to go to retail shops for customizing shirts again. My filled measurements, following the guidelines from its website, align well with the shirt that I ordered. Besides the shirt, there are other good touches on the whole ordering process, from start to opening the box. From start, there are many ways to customize a shirt: I find it more than a typical high-end retail store. From receiving the product, the shirt was packed in a nice professional way that you can find from high-end retailers. Also, it email-followed up on my first order on the fitness. And, with all these qualities, I didn't pay more than what I'd from a high-end retail store.

I have ordered four shirts from this company. I am a large person with a waist as big as my chest, and it is hard to find shirts that fit the way I like. Custom made shirts are the answer for me. These are well made, and the fabrics that I have ordered are high quality.

Apparently the shirts are made in Vietnam, which is fine, but my only reservation, the reason I don't give 5 stars yet, is that I don't know if the workers who make the shirts are fairly compensated. I wish the company would be able to re-assure us of that, I don't want to buy products from anything like a sweatshop.

Love Proper Cloth. First time user of this kind of service. The customized size the first go around was pretty accurate but I still had to get some adjustments and had to send it back for readjustments. They went and made a brand new shirt with my new adjustments and gave me time to send in the original. Great customer service and they try to get everything right for you.

I am a big guy that is hard to fit. Proper cloth makes shirts that fit perfectly, and customer service is outstanding. On one order- I mistakenly ordered 9 shirts without a pocket. They gladly took my shirts back, and provided me replacement shirts with a pocket at no extra charge. Excellent customer focused company.

I am an athletic cut guy. large chest and arms with a smaller waist. i was able to order 4 of their shirts and they fit perfect and look great. i have begun to systematically order one new shirt a month as the price are good. FORGET POLO im doing proper cloth

It took me two iterations to get down the measurements of the shirts precisely as I wanted them but now I won t go anywhere else! They have a phenomenal selection of different cloths and with my sizes perfectly tailored to me and my little idiosyncrasies, I know that my shirts fit just as I want them to.

I've purchased two shirts so far from Proper Cloth and both times the experience has been incredible. Admittedly, I haven't bothered to try out the competition, so I'm not exactly well traveled in the world of made to measure. That being said, I have never had a better fit, and the construction is without peer. I'll certainly continue to expand my wardrobe with their excellent shirts.

THIS SHOULD BE YOUR FIRST STOP (!!!) if you are a larger guy. I'm an XXL in any OTR shirt brand along with being a very long sleeve. Even if the body fits, the sleeves never do. Proper Cloth allows me to have high-quality shirts at great prices that actually fit. If you live in NYC like me don't hesitate to visit their showroom. The customer service is very nice, not stuffy at all, and you can actually see and feel many of their fabrics. I would make this a "must-do" if you are man that is into clothes and is visiting NYC. Overall this is one of the best men's clothing experiences you can find.

My first shirt didn't fit quite right. I sent in pictures and a stylist made suggestions and updated my custom fit on the site, then sent me a new shirt for free. That one fit great and all my orders afterwards have been near perfect. I love the broad range of fabrics and customizations.

My first shirt wasn't perfect, but I emailed some pictures and an actual person helped me out, adjusted everything, and they sent me a new one. The prices are pretty reasonable as well, considering these are custom shirts. The fabric and style selection is very nice, as well. I do recommend.

While the online interface is pretty good, it doesn't compare to having someone do the measurements in their office. It also gives you a chance to see swatches and get a better feel for the weight and quality of the fabrics. It can get busy though, so be sure to make an appointment.

Shirts are just as advertised and fit perfectly. I don t think I ll ever buy an off the rack shirt again. Proper cloth is my go to site for all my dress and casual shirts.

I was paying the same price for inventory product. I will never do that again!! If you are looking for the level of detail that will distinguish you and make your shirt a good fit, then Proper Cloth is the vendor for you. I have a muscular fit and a body shape that exploits the gaps of shirts off the rack. The Proper Cloth shirt fits me like a glove....perfect neck...tummy fit...chest...arms length...and the fabric was impeccable !!!

I tried several online custom shirt orders. Proper cloth is the premier shop. The choices for fabrics are enormous, the website easy to use, the quality of shirt is outstanding, and the production and shipping is fast.

Proper Cloth does custom made men's shirts proper. They are a bit on the pricier side, but the quality is phenomenal. Sometimes the wait can be a little too long for comfort, hence the 4 stars. I will however gladly continue to shop here and have yet to find a similar store that I would rate any higher.

This is top of the class. Unless your compensation is 7-digits plus you'll appreciate the level of craftsmanship and quality at this price point. I have yet to find anything as specialized and expertly executed as Proper Cloth.

My first order from Proper Cloth fit well and the experience was enjoyable. However I made some slight tweaks to my sizing with my second set of shirts and they fit amazingly! I'll def be spending lots of money with Proper Cloth.

I have ordered about 15 shirts from Proper Cloth over the past 3 years. I can't buy shirts off the rack that fit and this has been a great solution. I really like that you can tweak the size as you go. I have done simple changes like adding to the cuff size for a watch, etc with ease. You pay a little more but you get a shirt that fits.

Great experience buying my first shirt with this company. The shirt fit perfectly right out of the box, no alterations. I ordered dark navy but the shirt looks more purple to me. Its still very nice. I'll be ordering again.

once you get your sizing figured out, there s nothing better than just choosing your pattern and clicking to order. the shirts are super well made and last a really long time. i recommend the non iron dress shirts for anyone who doesn t have time to go to the cleaners. just wash on gentle/delicate and hang to dry.

The measurements the site calculates did not yield a shirt that fit too well. Then I carefully measured a shirt from another custom manufacturer and entered those measurements, and that worked well. Their order process is clunky and unless you are really paying attention to the final product, you could easily order the wrong dimensioned shirt.

Proper Cloth is the way to go for a custom dress shirt. The thing is - I would be okay with any other retailer, if I could find the right size. But I suppose I have a strange shoulder-waist width ratio that makes it difficult to get a good fitting slim shirt, and an MTM shirt was the answer. Thanks PC!

I've been extremely happy with the shirts that I purchased over the past year from Proper Cloth. I needed dress shirts for a new job so I initially went with traditional brands like Brooks Brothers, Calvin Klein, Banana Republic, and Tommy Hilfiger. I struggled to find many shirts that fit me well, so I reluctantly went down the custom path with Proper Cloth.

Proper Cloth has been fantastic - they helped me to find a shirt size that fits me well, much better than anything I could get off the shelf at a retailer. I really appreciate being able to configured detailed options for my shirts, unlike Brooks Brothers where they put an annoying front pocket on seemingly everything. I've also been very happy with how the shirts have worn and aged over time - they have vastly outlasted my shirts from other brands. I'm not exactly thrilled to spend $100 on a shirt, but they fit me well and seem to last much longer than my others, so I will continue to come back for more.
