Cold. I walked in to the dealership to check out a couple cars. My first greeting was from a lot tech (?) who was joking and cussing with another employee. I walked around the lot for a few minutes to check on a couple cars, a number of employees just walked past like I wasn't there. I finally went in the building and a young lady eventually asked if I needed something. From that point on it went down hill. She treated us like we were an inconvenience and we definitely were not welcome to wait anywhere near her desk since her lunch had arrived. Our questions were answered with disdain, like we were a couple kids just looking to joy ride. We test drove two cars, they seemed fine, but it was like they didn't want our business. We decided to try another dealership (Image Auto) with much better results. Honestly, we were ready to plunk down full price on a car at Prestman but just couldn't feel right about entering a business relationship with them. I can't imagine what the after-the-sale service must be like.

I had a great experience with Prestman Auto. All of the employees that I interacted with were helpful, friendly, and energetic. The salespeople were very upfront and informative and didn't make me feel pressured into anything. Honesty is something I truly value in a salesperson and I appreciated their efforts to ensure that I was as informed as possible before buying. They answered all of our questions and even printed off a Carfax review for us to keep and read at no expense to us. In buying a used car, it is definitely important to have all the facts and Prestman Auto was willing to give them all. They also gave me a very good deal on a good-quality car.

Working with Debbie was fantastic! She was straight up about everything, and wasn't pushy at all. She made a point to emphasize the fact that my wife and I were in the drivers seat during the whole process. She understood where we were in the car buying process and anticipated what we would want to do next, all the while not pushing us to anything.

At the end of our 2 hour experience at Prestman, my wife and I wanted to look more at other locations - just because Prestman was our first stop. Ultimately we did not end up buying a car here (because they were out of our price range), but we would definitely recommend Prestman to anyone looking to buy a car, and especially to Debbie.

The whole Prestman team was amazing. Everyone was so easy to work with. Since this corporation deals with only salvaged cars, we made sure to check the vin info and bluebook value of the vehicle so we knew exactly what we were getting. The team was really transparent about the business and all our concerns! They also told us exactly what the car had been through and what repairs they made. We loved the financial gal Deb. She was 100% clear and so knowledgeable about the whole industry. Christopher our salesman, was awesome as well. He made sure all our questions were answered with a no pressure personality. I would definitely buy from them again. We got a stellar deal. I couldn't afford this same vehicle anywhere else. My husband is already scouting their lot for himself.

BUYER BEWARE. Prestman Auto states that they treat all their customers like family... however, once they receive your money they could care less about you or issues with their "buy with confidence" vehicles. I purchased a vehicle which had a Bluestar inspection done on it with little existing issues. They were straightforward about the issues found in the inspection, but covered up the major issues that someone "conveniently" overlooked. The dealer, Landon, said the vehicle could be fixed with under $1,000 worth of repairs... $9,000 later and a cracked transmission Prestman claims their buyers buy at wholesale and they are not at fault, even though they never said anything about transmission issues. Warning lights that never appeared during a test drive also mysteriously turned on after Prestman cashes your check. This auto dealership is money hungry, takes advantage of their customers, does not care about you or the safety and well-being of their customers, and is best to be SHUT DOWN. The Better Business Bureau rates them 1 star with numerous issues similar to mine. They lie about their 5-star reviews. HELP SHUT GREEDY DEALERSHIPS LIKE THIS DOWN. DO NOT BECOME A VICTIM. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Great if you call being left alone for an hour and a half with little to NO communication as to what was going on and after finally coming to some type of an agreement they let us go with an empty tank of gas we had get stopping it gas before we could even get home. One star only because they didn't offer 0 stars.

Lost our $1,000 deposit even though we found significant RUST INSIDE THE CAR. Which they told us later is normal for cars on their lot.

We were so excited about buying a Toyota Sequoia here. Put down a 1,000 deposit for it since we were heading out of town. When we came back to pick it up we did a closer inspection and noticed significant rust you could flake off on the seat railings. I thought it was significant enough when paying for a 2014 car. You want to drive off the lot feeling really good about the car you just bought and not worrying about rust under your seats. It was a red flag we weren't expecting. The salesman CHRISTOPHER SANCHEZ looked at it and agreed yes there was clear amounts of rust but assured us it was nothing to worry about and maybe a water cooler spilt inside the car! Right. They tried to reassure us it was fine and were pushing us to move forward. I don't think they heard me at all. I didn't feel good about paying 37,000 for a car that I was driving off the lot knowing there was rust inside the car! We said we wanted to think about it. When my husband called to say we didn't want the car they wouldn't give us the deposit back because the car was "fine." I just feel like if we didn't find the rust and just changed our minds than sure don't give us the deposit back but we DID FIND A PROBLEM! Good customer service would apologize about the rust and say we would be happy to return your deposit since you found something that makes the car less valuable and would be a lot more difficult for you for resale privately. Instead the general sales manager TRAVIS CHEESMAN told my husband you will not get the deposit because MANY OF OUR CARS THAT COME THROUGH OUR LOTS HAVE RUST ON THE INSIDE.

Bottom line. The insides of many of their cars have rust as said by their manager. And don't make a deposit unless your 100% sure you like cars with rust.

I really didn't think I would be driving my dream car home with me in less than an hour from pulling into their lot, but I did!! I actually ended up buying a different car than the one I was interested in because it fit my needs better. I was really impressed with the way they handled everything from start to finish.

When we recently went in and I saw the the Cadillac SRX I was excited to drive it. Trevor made the experience very easy and was very accommodating when we took the car for a test drive. This place comes across good at first and I signed papers and they said they would change a tire for me. Being from Idaho they said they could pay for it over the phone. I have now been on hold/waiting for a service member to call me back for over and hour in the tire store and no one will fulfill the promise they made. I liked the sales experience but it seems once you spend your money they don t care or make it super frustrating to get their end of the deal done. I bought a basically brand new Ford Focus for a killer deal. I ve been a little cautious because with car dealerships before, all I have been is disappointed. I am a first time car buyer so getting a loan is a little bit more of a hassle for me! But Nate, Travis, and Tracey (really hope that s the right name) were all so helpful and kind. Nate set up my appointment, had me test drive the car, and got me on my way to financing. After we got bad news that we would need a HUGE chunk of money down that we just didn t have at the moment- Travis came to our rescue. And last- Tracey got us all signed off on our paper work while cracking many jokes and making the whole process with it! Thank you so much guys! I love my little car!

Many unexpected charges added that I felt should have been included in the price of the car. $299 for security etching on the glass should be optional. $399 dealer documentation fee. I work in construction and can image how my customers would react if I added a $400 charge for paper work to my final bill. $192 inspection fee. You can't sell a car with a branded title without inspecting it. This should be included. $94.50 for inspection and emission is 2 to 3 times more than it should be.

I WISH (with every particle of my being) THAT I HAD JUST PAID MORE! They have a very nice showroom with drinks and massage chairs that I ve spent 20+ hours in, (6 of those hours were in one sitting and they refused to give a loaner car). When we drove the car, there were some minor things that bothered us and we were assured and got in writing that they would fix them for free, after we got back in town, including a strange sound and other seemingly small things. We were ASSURED that the sound was just the sound of the wrong tires on the car and they were going to replace those, but didnt have them in stock at the moment....Loooooong story short... the car still makes the sound although more quietly after the tires and ball bearings were replaced. The roof leaks even after they fixed it twice and accidentally shattered the windshield and later blamed it on us. We found out later through a dealership that the car was in a roll-over, which again we were told was definitely NOT the case when we bought it, (My fault for not checking the VIN more carefully). Their bumper to bumper warranty service is a very expensive scam and their Service Center (on State Street)...I don t know how to say this any more emphatically...it is HELL with more HELL on top!!! The woman at the front desk is so TERRIBLE, RUDE, ABRASIVE, and UNPROFESSIONAL to the point that she must be a relative of someone because otherwise she would have been fired by any other business on the planet!! Every time I or my husband have to deal with her it s like Ive been talking to the IRS. I have PTSD from dealing with her and she is the ONLY one you get to talk to. They make sure of it. When you make an appointment (usually at least 2 weeks out) you give them information about what s wrong with the car. Without fail when you take it in for the repair they don t have the parts in stock. I don t know how a place that s so busy never has extra inventory, especially when they know ahead of time what is to be repaired. Many hours taken off of work to be told that you have to come back because they don t have what they need. Also, I was told by them that the Service Center is not part of Prestman. It s a separate company and so you have very little influence from Prestman once they re done selling you the car to get things taken care of. Prestman never looks back once they take your money. We are to the point of selling the car at a deficit just so we NEVER, EVER have to deal with these people again...I just have to get it fixed first...the run around has been exhausting and I don t know how they have been rated so highly by other buyers. This has been the worst car buying experience of my 43 year old life.

We were able to call ask questions about the vehicle and found out they had even more vehicles available for us to take a look at. Was able to make an appointment they followed up with a text message and was able to have a great experience with them and ended up buying Honda pilot. The customer service was absolutely terrible when I came to pick up the truck I purchased. The guy was dismissive and too busy to answer any of the questions I had. They didn't even fill up the tank after I had asked him about it and the first thing I had to do after driving it off the lot was take it to a gas station!!! Was expecting much better treatment considering the good money I had spent at your dealership. Especially disappointing because the sales rep the day before had been very responsive and helpful. I will not be recommending Prestman Auto to anyone.

I wanted to make this review just to say their approach was overly pushy and aggressive. I came in to test drive a car, specifically just to test drive a car. They were friendly and prompt, and the test drive went fine. I'm open and honest; this was not the first car I had seen to test drive, and just wanted to shop around.

When we got back I was sat down and it seems like he very indirectly intended for me to apply for a loan right then. I had absolutely no interest in doing that, and sat around for 15 minutes while the "boss" looked into things (trying to reduce the price, etc..?) I just wanted a print out of the cars info (and really didn't need it, but its why I walked back inside instead of thanking him and walking off). It's appreciated they wanted to give me lots of info about financing, but it wasn't asked for and wasn't necessary. I missed a call and got a voicemail within a day from the guy, asking me to call him back about the car, as if I was planning to buy it.

We had an extremely good experience purchasing our new car. Typically purchasing a car is something that I dread but I can say that this was enjoyable. The communication with the staff before arriving at the dealership was very helpful and timely. Once we arrived the process was very smooth. The entire staff was great to be around and the enviroment was a very layed back (no pressure) situation. I am happy to have found this business and am sure we will be repeat customers.

My Girlfriend and I were in the market for a nice car at a great price. Our local search found some great cars but all were out of our budjet. We went online and were led to Prestman Auto. From the first phone call with Tracy to the final handshake we were treated like family. We bought a 2007 acura for much less than market value. We drove from Bozeman Montana and returned the next day with our new car. Everything Tracy had said about the car was spot on. The rebuild work is top notch! They make is so easy from test driving it, to deciding on brands, pros and cons of different warranties, all the way down to the financing and handing you the keys. I would highly recommend them. Our salesman was Dub and he is outstanding and even stayed late for us so my husband and I could make it in together. Deb in finance also stayed late and made the whole process so easy. I rarely write reviews, but absolutely feel Prestman Auto deserves it in my case. They have demonstrated their integrity, commitment to quality and that service to their customers is a high priority. They aren't just about the sale. I was a first-time buyer, and purchased a car at the end of July. Unfortunately, the car had significant starting problems in the first 2 weeks after buying which continued through the first 2 months. Prestman worked with me and a dealer to correct the problems and agreed to help support repair costs. However, the experience left me feeling uncomfortable with the vehicle. Prestman went the extra mile and allowed me to exchange the vehicle for another of my choice, applying all of the cost for the first vehicle to be applied to the second. I was very impressed and grateful that Prestman was willing to take this step. I am very happy with the other vehicle and have experienced no problems. A big shout out to Tracy Ball, Alec, and Devin Sands for helping to make me a satisfied customer now and for the future! Very class act! Thank you.

Customer service is amazing and the car selection is outstanding. Have Colin help you, his honesty is admirable and he is straightforward about everything. I had a very good experience with Prestman Auto. I was looking for a branded title vehicle. Brandon was great to work with and flexible. After driving the vehicle and needing to leave before having to time to finalize the purchase, they allowed me to make my down payment and process the loan and purchase remotely. This was a great service for my situation at the time. After the test drive, I was shown the pictures of the accident and what was repaired, just as I had asked. The only thing that was not disclosed to me was that the when the paperwork for the title and registration would be processed, they would check the box that states the mileage does not reflect the actual mileage of the vehicle. This should have been disclosed prior to the final signing of the purchase. The care is in great condition inside and out and drives amazing. Thanks Prestman for the Audi Allroad.

From the second I called to the second we walked into the building it was an amazing experience!!! And for the deal I got on my truck, I feel like I should go mop the floors with my toothbrush. And the building itself is pristine clean. They have massage chairs while your waiting. The one and only thing I could think of negative about this place is I had to pay for my car lol. However even that I barely paid anything! If you're looking for a honest good deal and great selection, this is the place for certain!

Called Prestman at 9:15 am and spoke with Jared Barnes, he gave an honest low down on a 2005 Honda Pilot. I made an offer and Tracy Ball said "Yes, we can do that!" I then called the airlines, booked a flight, and emailed Jared with arrival time and the color of my shirt. Less than 4 hours later, Jared picked me up at SLC airport and whisked me to Prestman Auto where Tracy had all the paper work prepared and ready for signatures. Within an hour of landing, I was on my way home with some new wheels that had been detailed and even had a full tank of fuel!! Fabulous friendly and fine tuned service from all the folks there at Prestman Auto in Salt Lake City! I just may fly in again for my next ride.
Thanks again for a wonderful, easy and enjoyable experience buying this Honda Pilot. We'll meet again!

I was interested in two of their cars. I walked in to their offices where I was greeted by a young man. I told him I would like to look at one of their cars. He stood there and said "yes you can look at it". It took me a second to realize he meant it was ok for me to stand and look at the car. At which point I had to clarify I was interested in possibly purchasing the car and would like to actually see and hear the car running. He replied stating they must run my credit before turning on any car. I tried not to laugh considering they're all salvage titles. The only regret I had was not leaving my car running.

After being referred here by a former customer, We found a Subaru outback that fit our needs perfectly. Tracy did a great job assisting us with this smooth transaction. We traded in our current Audi (although did not get what we wanted out of it) and purchased the Subaru. Thank you to Prestman Auto and Trevor Durfey specifically who helped us in to our new car!! He was really patient and didn't mind that we kept coming back several days in a row (right around closing time too, sorry!) to take our future car on multiple test drives before buying. Trevor came across as always honest and never pushy -- something you don't find too often when buying a car unfortunately. We are really happy with the car, it's price, and the experience we had at Prestman!!

They were very friendly with me and up front about everything. The truck I was looking at was a recent trade in, so they had barely finished the inspection that morning. When I got there, they walked me through the inspection and mentioned that a few things needed to be taken care of before they sent it home with me (nothing with the engine). They sat me down and walked me through financing and we were able to get it signed that day. Even though my wife was at work, she was able to sign electronically. They have a generous warranty package (optional) that will give you peace of mind from the stress that comes with buying cars, especially used. I bought a Subaru cross trek here a year and half ago and it falling apart!! The paint has chipped all on the front bumper. I took it in to get it repaired there at their auto shop and they couldn t even give give me a loaner car even though I d had driven 4 hours and was staying over in a hotel just to get it repaired. Terrible customer service. Good thing I bought a $4000 warranty because the POS car is always going to be in shop. Good thing the Subaru dealership in St. George is so kind. I will be trading in the car ASAP! If I were you I would run far and fast from this place!!

Great car, great price. Staff took time to answer my questions and give me all the information I needed. They even stayed after closing to better worked with our schedule. If you are looking for quality rebuilt titles give them the opportunity. Next time, I'm going to buy both my weekday and weekend car there!

I bought my "dream" minivan (if there is such a thing) from Prestman Auto a little over a year ago. The sales staff was awesome, so good in fact that I bought into their sales pitch that a salvaged title vehicle was not such a scary decision. I believed them when they told me my vehicle had been inspected by them and a third party person. However, I have had NOTHING but issues with my van. 3 months after my purchase, the engine had to be replaced. The service shop had my car for just shy of 1 month. We repeatedly requested a rental car, but was denied. When we picked up our car after a month we met with a manager and expressed our deep disappoint in the vehicle and the process of dealing with the service shop. I momentarily felt a little better about the dealership. We are back at the service shop for the third time in a year. The quick fix on my car, is nearing day two of being in the shop. I have heard no word from the service shop. Through my own tenacity, I got an update. The "take home" of this review....think twice before you buy a salvaged title vehicle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's not worth the savings.

I really liked these guys. I was super nervous about buying a branded title car. I asked what type of damage the car had been in and received an honest answer, verified by a 3rd party mechanics which I took the car to. My salesman, Dub, was very transparent during the sale but once the car was purcased he he was not good as servicing me by answering my questions, thus the 4 stars. We told him where we needed to be monthly on the price and he worked it and got us that price. (They did try to throw in a warranty, which honestly there are a lot worse things to do.)
Once the warranty was out we were able to get the price we wanted.
