I bought a car here 5 weeks ago and it started having problems after one week. Their service department was too busy to get me in so I had to go somewhere local, twice, and there are so many issues with the vehicle that can't figure them all out. I'm trying to now get it to Prestman to service and have to wait 3 weeks and will have to pay for the diagnostics on a car I just bought. I'm so upset to have just purchased a car and now have to uber around for the next month as they will not cover a rental or assist in any way. They were great through the purchase process but terrible once you drive that car off the lot. I feel like I was sold a complete melon and they don't care to do anything about it.

As a whole, this was probably the worst car buying experience that I have had in buying 10+ cars from various dealerships in my life.

It all started the morning of the car deal, I started texting with Matt Zollinger at 8:00 am (an hour before they opened) about a Buick Enclave that they had. I had sent him the vin, and a screenshot of the listing from their website. I told him that we wanted to come down and purchase it, and that I would be getting the financing pre approval through my credit union when they opened at 9. We stayed in communication through the morning, and I let him know when we were leaving to head down there, and that financing was in place (an hour and a half drive). When we get there, he greeted us at our car, and told us he already had it started and warmed up so that we could drive it. He walked us past an enclave that looked like the one we were there to buy, and took us to a Buick Encore. I reminded him that we were there to look at the Enclave, he said that his computer must have gotten them mixed up, and that he was pretty sure that the enclave was being sold currently, but we could go inside to confirm. We follow him inside, and he tells us that the enclave has been sold, and that he wouldn't have been able to hold it without a deposit. Big problem though...he never gave us that option. Fast forward a bit, and we look at some other SUV's and find a Subaru Ascent to move forward with. Matt goes out to look at our car we're trading in to get us a trade in value on it. He comes over after looking at the car and asks my wife and I how much we were hoping to get out of our trade. I told him that we needed to get $1,000 out of it so that it would cover the payoff for the existing loan. He went and talked to the managers at the front, and came back and told us that is not a problem they could do that $1,000. Fast forward a long bit, and we waited almost 3 hours to finally get into the finance office. Once we get into the finance office, the paperwork the finance manager had, showed only $500 for the trade in. I told him what Matt had said, so he called up front to the managers desk, and they told him the best they could do was $750. I reminded him that Matt already promised my wife and I that we would be getting $1,000 for the trade. The finance guy went up front and came back, and told us that they had agreed to do the full $1,000. So, in the end, we got the deal done, but the whole experience was the worst I have ever had.

Our salesperson, Tracy Ball helped us have a wonderful experience at Prestman Auto.
Tracy was not pushy or annoying; he helped us find the vehicle and go over any questions that we had. Also, Tracy was able to show us the photos of the vehicle we were looking at before it had been repaired (we were looking at a van with a rebuilt title). The van had a minor issue with the glove box, and Prestman Auto has already scheduled the vehicle to be repaired, free of charge.

After an enjoyable test drive, Tracy presented us with some numbers regarding the van we wanted. We agreed on a fair price and made the purchase. Tracy helped us with drinks while our kids watched the Disney channel in the lobby. It was a very relaxing and enjoybale experience. We love our new van and we will absolutely purchase from Prestman Auto again.

I will be the first to admit that the cary buying process with Prestman is very nice and smooth. No salesman in the car with you for test drives, very nice office, etc. We found a car that we really loved (Buick Enclave) for about $6000 less than we would have paid at a traditional dealership.
The very first month in owning the car the gas gauge stopped working and we found ourselves out of gas in the middle lane (still showing we had gas in the tank). Next we had air conditioning problems. Then there's the problems with the radiator. The issues keep stacking up...still...
We've now put more than the $6000 into it that we "saved"...and it's still a salvaged title. I feel a bit hoodwinked with it all. We will NOT be buying a salvaged title again.
The Bluestar inspection that is run and highly talked about by the office missed many, many issues while making us feel comfortable. In fact, we took our issues to Bluestar also and they refunded us the amount of the inspection seeing the many issues we had after their inspection.
Don't buy a salvaged title without taking it to the actual dealership to look over - they have been the only place to fix some of the issues we are having.
It's been just under two years since we purchased the car. We still own the car and love it for the week just after it comes out of the shop, before something else comes up again...
Overall, I'm very disappointed.

Deb Francis helped us get into our Buick Enclave and we could not have been more impressed with her and Prestman Auto. We initially came in on New Years Day when it was 32 degrees outside and Deb happily went outside to get us 5 different cars to look at. She was so helpful with all of our questions and was sincere and genuine. She didn't try to push us into anything and really helped to get us into the car that fit best for our family. I can't say enough about how great she is! She absolutely deserves a ride in the cobra! Thank you Deb!!

It allowed me the time to prepare and fly down and pick up vehicle. I was picked up at the airport by Prestman Auto. The service was top notch. I plan on sending my friends their way. I plan on checking them out first when I'm looking for my next vehicle.

My fiance and I walked in around closing time and asked to test drive a a couple cars, Deb with a smiling face was the first to approach us! She asked what we were looking for she let us test drive a Lexus, by that time it was way past closing but we wanted to drive one more she said she doesn't mind at all and stayed..she was very honest with everthing and very personable. After looking into this dealership in comparison with others whos inventory & credibility interested me I decided to go look at the oddity I was considering buying.
Now mind you, i am a very detailed person & took the time to read quite literally every review, good and bad (yes really) so as to make my own opinion accordingly.
I can tell you that I am beyond happy with my vehicle as it only needed cabin filters replaced & the radio unlocked which cost nothing but 15 minutes on my phone. Jared & Traci did NOT pull some gimmicky stereotypical used salesman act with me. I feel very good about the purchase of my new ride & the experience with both Jared handling the vehicle selection portion and traci handling the financing/paperwork to close the deal. It's already traveled several states just fine & makes me WANT to maintain it as best as possible for maximum longevity, you know why? Cause I'm a very happy customer with a nice unique vehicle all thanks to these 2 men at prestman auto.

I recently purchased a 2009 Nissan Maxima from Prestman Auto and it was an overall great experience! I absolutely love the car and was able to get it for a great price! I worked directly with Todd, he was laid back and never tried to pressure me like most car salesmen do. He was informative and patient while we had to try to get through some red tape with my bank. I enjoyed working with him because most car salesmen end up turning me off from purchasing a car by the way that they approach you. He also treated me with the professionalism that you would expect and really appreciate but don't always receive! The person that absolutely blew away my expectations though, was Alec Flitton. There were some troubles that I had with the car AFTER I purchased it and Alec followed through and helped me fix everything that he could! There was a center console piece that was missing from a custom deck being installed and he suggested where I should be able to find a replacement and promised that if I purchased it that he would refund me the money. He did JUST THAT. He was prompt with his responses and his help. There was also a huge issue with the paint job on the car. The paint had started to peel off everywhere and I was afraid that I was going to have to end up paying for a brand new paint job. I brought it in and when Alec saw the car you could tell he was shocked that I was having this issue. He asked me to drop off the car, gave me an Infinity G37 for a loaner, and then completely repainted the entire car! You can tell Alec is 100% dedicated to his job and wants to make sure that customers are completely satisfied with their purchase. I think he is one of the best and most reliable representatives I have ever worked with. There are a LOT of people that will promise you the world but don't ever end up following through, and Alec stuck to his word without any hesitation! Any time I ever have anyone ask me about buying a car again I will ONLY recommend to go in to work directly with Alec Flitton at Prestman Auto. He is one of the biggest assets that that dealership has! When I need to purchase my next vehicle, I know where I am going WITHOUT A DOUBT! Great job Alec, you have definitely earned a loyal customer for life as well as nothing but praise and recommendations for your dealership!

We went to Prestman auto in July to take a look at their incredibly priced, gorgeous cars. Matt Bishop spent over an hour with us and explained how Branded titles work. We were a little skeptical and decided to research it. We went back three weeks later determined that we would put the Prestman name to the test. We met with Matt Bishop again, who is truly the most authentic, knowledgeable car salesman we have ever met. He put all our questions to rest and bent over backwards to help us buy an amazing car for an amazing price. My husband and I are both 48 and we ve bought many cars together over the years, but never have we had such an upfront, no hidden games, truly great experience buying a car. Our deepest thanks to Matt Bishop and the Prestman Auto group.

Buying a car at Prestman was by far, the best experience I've had at a dealership. All the employees were knowledgeable, personable, and efficient. I test drove four cars and didn't ever have to wait for them at all. During the only short period of time that I had to wait (while financing was approved), I relaxed in one the the many massage chairs! I would highly recommend this place to anyone, and will definitely be using them in the future. Best service around, excellent prices, etc. This was the only time that id say buying a car was actually enjoyable. Thanks guys!!!

When you first walk in the showroom is very clean and the staff is very welcoming and friendly. Alec is GREAT! We explained what we were looking for that day and he immediately got our information and took us to the truck we wanted to look at. He was great at explaining everything about the truck. He gave us plates and the key and told us to enjoy our drive. When we got back he asked how the drive was, but didn't pressure at all. Working with Alec was unlike any other car dealer. There was no pressure, but he answered all of our questions and is very personable. While we were waiting on some paperwork we were offered several waters and the staff would stop by and chat. Very friendly atmosphere. We met Marshall, Tracy, and a couple others whose names escape us right now. The price on the truck was unbeatable and Alec made sure we were happy with everything. The only negative was in the detailing of the truck. While we were signing paperwork the truck was supposed to be detailed. The outside couldn't be done because it was pouring rain, so he told us to stop by another day and they'll give us a wash, but inside wasn't detailed, it was only mostly clean. The console was still very dirty and everything didn't look like it was wiped down. The seats were very clean and it had been vacuumed out. They topped off all fluids except gas. Just as we were leaving the lot the gas light came on and we had to put air in the tires as that was forgotten. Even with these minor misses we were very happy. We would recommend them to others and we will be back ourselves because the savings are well worth the 7 hour drive.

Drove from 2 hours away to find a car. Had a particular car I wanted to see. I had told them via email I was coming to look at this car on this particular day. A particular salesman talked the car up and let me take it for a test drive. I spent an hour testing it and looking it over for any problems. I liked the car and thought I wanted to buy it. We sat down to talk numbers. So, nearly 2 hours after arriving at the dealership and going through all this the salesman says, "Oh wait, oh sorry somebody already has put a deposit on the car!" I thought, "From the time I left and took it for a test drive to now?!?!" Oh no, they had put a deposit on it last night and nobody had notified me after putting all that time into the car. They could have easily emailed me that morning so I wouldn't have wasted my time. Even if they had told me when I arrived that it had been sold I would have been fine with it. No big deal, that happens, but to not even know it was sold until I had put so much time into it. That really frustrated me. Well, to make it worse, the salesman said, "Oh darn, and it wasn't under my name. I really wanted to sell this car!" He was more worried about his commission than his customer service! I couldn't believe it. After shafting me so bad I would have at least expected a water bottle or something, but all I got was an insincere sorry, and a disappointed salesman because he didn't get his commission. Unbelievable!!

Did a purchase on November 18th with an overpayment of $250.00 I was told it will be refunded by the end of the week as of today December 30 after many calls to the finance and accounting Office no check, no refund every time that I called and get transfered to accounting noone answer the phones I have left voicemails, my name and phone number with the main office, three weeks ago I was able to speak to somebody who told me that the check was in the mail obviously it's not.

10/6/20 It s been 9 days since I purchased the vehicle and still don t know when it will ship. I found 3 recalls on the vehicle and asked if it had a spare key and it didn t, so they said they would order one. It s a restored salvage title and cost over $41,000. I got talked into a 100,000 mile warranty for 5 years for $4,500. After reading the fine print I decided it wasn t worth it to me but I already sent the a check over $46000. I ve been calling to cancel the warranty for 3 days and to find out if the spare key was made and when my vehicle will ship, but all to no avail. The listed mileage on the vehicle was about 5,200 but upon digitally signing to purchase it was over 6,100. I ve been trying to reach out to the general manager because I got an email saying if for any reason you cannot fill out this survey completely satisfied and definitely recommend, please call me or our General Manager, Bill Pearson , but Bill has not responded or returned any of my calls. It almost feels like we re being avoided. This is our first time buying online and this is the most expensive vehicle we ve ever purchased. It s a salvage title, discrepancy on mileage, has recalls, no spare key, and it seems the dealership is avoiding us and not keeping us updated after receiving our money a week ago. I m use to buying a new car and driving it home the same day. This experience has been unsettling to say the least. The guy who sold us the vehicle was very nice but I had to ask him several times to email picks of the wreck he said he had. He finally sent me 1. When we first inquired about the vehicle he said everything was in good working order and was ready for delivery. I did my own research and found 3 recalls and no spare key, but because I brought it to his attention, there working on it.
Update: while writing this I got a call the vehicle has shipped (after I ve called several times today and through the week in which everyone was in meetings or not there; same thing the day before) I normally don t leave reviews but I felt obligated to make one in this case. Hopefully everything is in good order when it arrives and hopefully they cancel the warranty with no issues since I tried for 3 days before it even left there lot. I left out other minor unsettling things to save typing space.

I purchased an Acura TSX from Tracey. I was in the market for a new car because I had totaled my Corolla I had purchased from Prestman Auto in 2007. I had a good experience the first time around so thought I would pay them a visit for my new car. I wasn't sure what I wanted. I told Tracey my budget, what I was looking for in a new car, and what color I wanted. He showed me a few options and didn't' pressure me into looking at or purchasing more car than I was interested in. Their finance department was a breeze to work with and so flexible on my options. Purchasing this new car was a great experience and was very painless. Tracey made buying a car what it should be very exciting and I didn't have buyers remorse for a second because he found me exactly what I needed and wanted.

Got a major steal at Prestman Auto! Everyone on the team that helped us was so kind and the entire lobby/shop had an up beat positive vibe. There was some times of waiting but what does anyone expect when short staffed? Was very understandable and they've got comfy massage chairs to spare the time. As of now couldn't be more happier with our purchase. They also made sure that we knew, if anything came up or we had any issues, to call. I searched the internet for a pickup truck in my price range. I found one I liked at Prestman Auto. I went to the dealership and was met by Trevor Durfey, one of their sales representatives. He showed me the truck I was interested in and explained that their vehicles are primarily salvaged. That made me pause. Upon further explanation and a car fax review of the truck, I felt confident that the truck I ultimately bought would be a sound investment at a bargain price. Another important point is that I did not feel pressured. Trevor basically agreed that if I needed more time to think about it, I should. The test drive helped. Based on the success and growth of the dealership, there are evidently more customers like me out there that have confidence they bought a good vehicle at a good price. Thumbs up!

We had an amazing experience with RED at Prestman Auto. I mention Red particularly because he helped us a ton and we asked a million questions.. he never got annoyed! ha We went there to get a GMC Acadia that was a steal and while we were there we ended up driving away with 2 cars. After dealing with many different dealerships and sales people while looking into cars it was refreshing to come in contact with people that weren't overbearing. We spent almost the entire day there and it was friendly faces the entire time, they were very accommodating. Thank you Prestman Auto for the cars, your time, and a positive car buying experience! Prestman Auto will definitely be the first place I look when it's time to buy again.

Very disappointed with the service, we bought an Acura TL and purchased the additional coverage to cover any issues with the vehicle. It has been two months since the vehicle was purchased and we have been left stranded between going back and forth trying to fix the vehicle. Within the first few days we noticed the car had issues and we went back in to try and swap out to something else and the sales people guaranteed that they would either fix the car or switch us out to something comparable. So far neither has happened. There has been empty promises and has made us feel weary of the whole experience.

Prestman has great pricing on their vehicles. I came from out of the state to buy a car very ill prepared. Jared helped me out a lot, and really worked with my. He helped me fit something withing my budget and helped me figure out a way to work out a proof of insurance as my insurance agency had already closed for the evening. There were many points in the process I thought I was going to have to make the 4 and a half hour drive home empty handed, but Jared made it happen.

Believe it or not, dealing with replacing a car is not high on the bucket list of a single woman. I recently found myself in that position when the lease on my current car was soon-to-expire. Depending on someone who knew about cars, I found my way to Prestman auto. My sales executive, Fernando Orlandini, made the experience not only painless but fun! I flew in to pick up the car and they met me at the airport with a rose. They drove me back to the dealership and sent me on my way with no muss no fuss. I would highly recommend prestman Auto. They're stuck with me for life! Do yourself a favor and consult with them before you purchase your next car. You just can't do better anywhere else.

I am baffled this place has such high reviews on google especially when I go to other dealership-rating sites and see the reviews are closer to one or two stars. I suspect they have some sort of google-account generator that creates a new identity and they leave a 5-star review just to boost the overall rating. I wouldn't be surprised because a lot of the 5 star reviews have only reviewed one business, Prestman Auto; I also wouldn't be surprised because that's exactly the kind of move I would expect Prestman to pull, but, I can't prove it.
They withhold a lot of information. They have next to no information about their salvage titles (all their cars are salvage titles) or if they do have that information they choose not to share it.
Their website is very misleading. When something I saw in person didn't match what I saw online, usually something about vehicle highlights, they told me it was an IT issue and they were working on it. I think that's a lie because it's been months and the same untrue stuff is still on their site but I'm guessing they leave it up because it makes their cars look better.
The finance manager is what really set me off. He kept trying to hide the fact there were other warranty options than the one he wanted to sell me, and even the fact that it was completely optional (the website said the car was still under factory warranty but that was another thing they said they were trying to get IT to fix). I felt he was very condescending, he insinuated I would be stupid not to do what he said, told me something bad would happen to me if I didn't purchase his warranty, and used other fear tactics to try and scare me into signing. Meeting with him signaled too many red flags and I decided to leave Prestman. I didn't feel right about doing business with that kind of character.
I did not have a good experience with Prestman. From my experience, they are very lacking in integrity. They aren't stupid, in fact they are very cunning, so if you absolutely have to do business with them, just make sure you are on guard. Look up the vin number online and try to find the auction where it was purchased to get the full damage report. Know that every car they sell is salvaged, so do your research independent of them and make sure you're okay with that. Know that many of the car highlights you see online may not be applicable (but IT is working on it!). And know that you're likely (at least in my case) to pay an additional 33% of the "final cost" listed online. Or. Just don't go to Prestman and you can avoid all this hassle.

They are second two none with their unique product and quality. Maurissa the sales person I worked with on both purchases as well as my friends, was professional, knowledgeable and real pleasure to work with! I was able to find a great car at a great price. They were quick and convenient, and even have worked with me while I've been out of town with financing. Chris, my salesman, was low pressure and respected that I knew what I wanted. Prestman even accommodated an independent inspection from On-Site Mobile inspections. Our experience with Prestman Auto in Salt Lake was very disappointing. We appreciated Carlos Cardenas, the person we worked with -- very professional, super friendly. We also appreciated Nate's help. Tracy, who took care of the paperwork, was nice, but I later learned that he had tricked us into signing an agreement that waived their obligation to provide us the title within 2 days. They took over 6 weeks to mail us the title. That was ridiculous. By the time we received the title, the temporary sticker in the window had expired. Then I also figured out that they had charged us $110 for licensing and title. We didn't license and title the car in Utah because we live in Idaho! I would never buy a car there again. What a mistake.

I have never had buying a car go as easily and smooth as this. Talk about no stress and no pressure to buy anything!! My boyfriend and I went there to look at a specific car, so when we arrived one of their salesman, Matthew Zollinger, came to greet us, took us to the car and let us test drive it. He didn t try to sell us or be pushy, he kept his distance and let us decide. We needed up really liking the car so we went in to do paperwork and we ALL know what a pain that is and how stressful it is. This is my 3rd car from a dealer and my boyfriends 10th! But it was NOTHING like all the other times. We literally typed in some information and then sat down in their massage chairs the whole time which was not long at all. Matthew took care of the rest. I think they whole thing took about a half hour. He got me a good price on the car and an amazing interest rate! All I had to do was look over the documents they prepared sign and take my car home. It was that easy. We had a longer time with our insurance agent than we did buying the car. Can t say enough good things. If you re in the market for a car please give Matthew Zollinger a try.
