I took my very sluggish speed laptop into Leo's shop at 1:00 in the afternoon. At 3:30 he called me and said it was completed. My laptop is now a speedster. It was done at a very reasonable price. I definitely recommend Power Up Computers in O'Fallon.

My computer was a MESS! We only use it for business and we need it to work and be safe for all our work files. I brought it in at 1pm in the afternoon and told them what I needed. They went over everything with me and I was on my way. The same day at 6pm they called and said my computer was ready to go. I come in the next day and he showed me how to work everything. He made a file where I just go in and update everything in the file and move on! He also switched my computer from Windows 8 to 7 and gave me business related programs. I am sitting here on my computer and its way faster than its ever been and I am so happy with their work. We will be using them for any and all computer needs. We will be back!

Only if you want to have it done right the first time would you want go here. I found this shop hidden away on Elm street in old town O Fallon and for me its been the best discovery in decades. With over 40 years of owning computers I feel at last I found a company that makes a repair and does it right the First Time. I ve used this company five or six times on the same number of different machines over the years and I keep going back because I can depend on professionalism that was not delivered by Best Buy s Geek Squad and other small shops in the St Charles area. You only want to go here is you want it done right and feel you got the best of the deal .

Great Computers for GREAT PRICES!!! Found a iMac on Marketplace that Leo had put on there. He said the computer on the page was since sold. He made me a better deal on a bigger computer and I couldn't pass it up! Go check it out for yourself.

If zero was a choice, that's what I'd rate this place.

I was a first time customer. I called and explained that my sound had gone out on my computer. I had spent four days with online Microsoft support trying to figure out what was wrong. They couldn't figure it out. I called this shop and spoke with Leo who said he was the owner. He assured me that they could fix it.

I brought it in and was told I'd be called the next day. No one called so I actually called twice and no one was at the shop all day. On the fourth day I called and asked if they found out what was wrong with my computer. This is the response I received, "Um.....yeah....um....it's your sound thing." I obviously wasn't feeling very confident with that response. I asked what he meant by that and was told "Your sound's not working." My confidence was not restored.

I asked if they had fixed my 'sound thing' and was told they hadn't. So I asked to speak to Leo. That conversion did not go well either.

May I speak to Leo?

"Um....he's not here."

Can you call him and ask him to give me a call?

"Yeah but he won't call you until he comes back."

And when will he be back?

"I dunno."

I told the employee I'd be in to pick up my computer. He replied that anybody was going to tell me the same thing and so it didn't matter where I brought my computer. That was pretty much it for me. Explaining to him that not only had he not told me what was wrong with my computer,. it mattered to me with regard to how I'm treated.

Twenty minutes later he called to say Leo would be in an hour. I gave him over two hours and no one called. I just picked up my computer and Leo was there but didn't even acknowledge me.

I remember when I called him four days ago and he said his business relied upon word of mouth. I certainly hope that's true Leo, I TRULY do.

Overall a great experience. Leo is very knowledgeable and is looking out for the best interest of his customers.

I was told about Power Up Computers from a relative and I'm so happy I took my computer there to have it fixed. I was scammed by one of those companies that tell you that you've been "hacked" and try to sell you a $400 annual service. Power Up Computers fixed my computer for a flat $85 (they cleaned viruses, optimized and installed an antivirus). Now my computer is running much, much faster and I know what to do to not fall for any more scams.

This place was actually really nice! The guy had great service, helped me find exactly what I was looking for! And on top of that you could tell he knowledge and knows what s going on! To me the best part he sent me a massage on face book to make sure my computer and everything was working just fine! That s a true good business man and I respect that 10/10 recommend this place to anybody

I had a very good experience at this place. They fixed my laptop fast and for a lot less than what I was quoted at two other local places (I know better than getting ripped off at Geek Squad). I'll make sure to recommend you to all my friends and family.

The place is pretty cluttered in an "Einstein" sort of way. That's cause he's a genius!

one of the worst computer repair shops ive ever seen. never seen a shop that holds onto a computer for 3 months for a 1 day fix. (apple can replace a broken screen in the same day.. this man took 3 months and still couldnt fix it, rather he broke more parts)

Having loaned out my laptop to a family member it was returned to me with viruses and a slew of other issues. They set up my computer with a reminder folder of how often to update the virus software and protections. They also installed software that i had bought. My computer hasn't worked this good since it was brand new. Having come from New york their prices we very reasonable even for Missouri. I also had them set up my printer connections to my new printer. I would most definitely recommend Power Up Computers!!!!!

Leo is amazing at what he does. Very kind and helpful, and I'm glad that the service is very quick! Even when I got the wrong keys for my laptop, Leo ordered the proper keys and added them to my computer again free of charge. Very awesome! Computer was broken and i was in contact as soon as i noticed he did not reply back to me and made it a rush sale plus it was christmas time and i was buying it for my daughters present i was very unhappy with this place DONT GO HERE!!!!

A few months ago, I purchased a new HP Envy computer with the Windows 8 operating system. For the first month, I had nothing but problems, - crashes, lock-ups, slow operation, etc. MS and HP help lines were of no use at all. When the computer finally became totally non-functional, I took it to Power Up Computers and in a few days, for a cost less than I could believe, I had a fast, reliable, fully operational computer with the Windows 7 system. New antivirus software had been installed as well as disk defragmentation software and disk check software that runs on a weekly schedule. I've had absolutely no problems since I got the computer back home.
The guys at Power Up are very attentive to their customers' needs and they are very competent in making sure the customer needs are fulfilled. In addition they were fun to work with.

I found pc ram for sale on Facebook and spoke to Leo and asked if it would work in my pc. He advised it would work and I was able to meet him that day to pick it up. The parts were as pictured and work as described. Very satisfied and I m sure I ll be returning in the future.

Not only did they find out what was wrong with my laptop in a short amount of time (I thought it was something else), they gave me advice so I wouldn't run into the same problem in the future. They were able to repair my computer under a time-constraint, which I was very pleased with. Prices are very fair compared to other local computer stores. paid this shop $500 to fix my laptop, a screen that was hit by an xbox controller. somehow while he had the laptop he broke internal parts, like the hard drive.... this shop is absolutely terrible. took my broken computer to a real shop, and they told me he was wiring everything like he had no idea what he was doing. if you have a POS computer, you can take it to him, but if you value your computer at all, and want it back, this is not the place foryou.

Been a customer for years. Purchased 2 CPUs and one laptop. Whenever I have a problem they offer fast and friendly service. Just recently I couldn't connect to Wi-fi. I called and spoke with Leo and problem was resolved in less than 5 minutes. Saved me a 45 minute trip and the inconvenience of not being able to fully use my laptop! Thanks!

Went to purchase some laptop RAM. Good prices on older DDR3. Seemed very knowledgeable and does reclaim/recycling here. I asked what he accepts for recycling he responds, "If it has a cord, I'll take that too."
I tinker alot at home so ALWAYS have spare parts- great place to drop off anything obsolete for proper disposal. Will definitely be back to bug with questions and parts!

Was in the market for a PC to use for personal and business, found a mac one from Leo. He was responsive quick and game me options on the ones he had,when one was sold he let me know and I came picked up a different one then I originally wanted. He also installed other apps right on the spot. When I noticed a piece missing I let him know and he automatically had it sent to me.

These guys are awesome! My Dell decided to upgrade to Windows 10 and I lost all my files. Within three days they were able to restore Windows 8 and recovered nearly all my files! They let me know what was going on and even let me get a copy of the files for an interview before the computer was fixed.

I highly recommend, don't let the disheveled appearance of the place fool you...if you have computer problems, go there.

AMAZING!!!! My Macbook Pro laptop broke and there was only one place on hwy K that fixes Mac computers but they wanted $300 to repair it. A friend told me about these guys and that I should give them a call. I'm soooo glad I did. They fixed my laptop and it cost me less than half of what the other place quoted me. I highly recommend them to everybody that needs their computer fixed.

I took my computer there, when it wouldn't power up one day. They had it up and running the next day. Only needed a new power supply. They even cleaned out the dust in the inside. I will be back, anytime I have computer problems.

Had a problem with my computer powering up; took it in, was seen immediately. Minor malfunction was found and corrected at no charge. Would not take any of my computers any other place than here. I ordered a Chromebook/table from Power Up via Facebook Marketplace. It came promptly and communication about shipping was excellent. I had some questions about getting it up and running and the service was above and beyond.

For whatever reason the device did not work for my online work and class needs. I reached out to the seller and even though the post had said no returns, I was able to return it and for a full refund that included shipping. That is service.

I had an oil change at a garage leave the cap off my car after a change and it blew the head. They gave me a very nice loaner and rebuilt my engine. It was an older car that I got years more use out of. Guess where I go every time for an oil change today? Products will not work out sometimes or in the case of the oil change people will make mistakes, how they handle those situations define their business for me. I am a satisfied customer.
