Decent prices and got my computer working beautifully!

I have been extremely happy with the service from Leo and Power Up Computers since 2010! Leo has always went over and beyond to give me the best equipment at the best price possible. I recommend Power Up to everyone for all of your computer needs!

After 4hours beating my head against the wall with Toshiba over a 3 mo old high speed laptop.. their est was 400 to start and possibly lots more to replace a screen i broke

These ppl were fast and quoted a price immediately .. checked with others and got the same run around ... I own a car dealership ... if i had anyone treat me like Toshiba and others they would be unemployed ...

I haven't dealt with Power Up personally yet. I'm writing this review based off of what my mom told me about her experience with Leo. I was planning on calling tomorrow, but I'm an understanding individual and it is Christmas time. Leo has maintained a business based solely on word of mouth, and he continues to thrive. He educates computer users, he discovers their needs and manages the sales affordably for his customers, and he makes it easy to understand.

My mom was a database administrator prior to becoming retired, so she obviously knew a thing or two about computers. Her friend brought her a computer to see if my mom could fix it, but she couldn't. She read about Leo, and went to him with her friend's computer and he couldn't fix it either. Sometimes you just get the blue screen of death, and if you're unwilling to change you have to accept it.

Leo offered a very durable computer, which he could transfer all of her data files over to the "new" computer. He offered to sell it for a minimal 45$! The only reason she did not accept the computer was because she was resistant to change.

My mom, being in the IT industry, absolutely RAVED about Leo's knowledge, customer service skills, and sales skills. I would rate him 5 stars just based off of how my mom rated him! I plan on contacting him tomorrow, but unlike the only one bad post on his reviews - I have compassion for a small business man in case he isn't available.

Leo did an amazing job and finished when he said he could. I will recommend him to all my friends.

I had to use the services of Leo and his staff at Power Up Computers on literally five different occasions. Each time I brought in one of our computers, not only did the cost remain low but the customer service was awesome. Leo and his staff treat every customer with care and respect. Both times I brought them, 1 laptop and 1 desktop computer, to Power Up Computers.
They got me up and running in no time and very affordably. Now I have learned a valuable lesson. Don't waste time and loose data, I am taking my troubled computer(s) to Power Up Computers first. Saturday, July 30, 2016 - Once again, I wasted way too much time trying to get my wife's e-machine optimized and running like new again. Dropping the computer off at Power Up Computers should have been the first thing I did. They fixed it very quickly and quite affordably and my wife is happy with her internet speeds again. Great experience overall. Got my computer repaired in one day and also ended up buying a refurbished laptop for my son for college for less than half of I was going to spend at Best Buy. I had no idea they also sell computers. I was able to pick one from a big selection for a great price. I'm so glad I found this place. I developed a problem with one of my company laptops. In researching companies to take it to, I found the reviews on Leo and Power Up Computers. I have to say they lived up to the reviews and reputation. They were able to take care of the problems, optimize the machine, and offer suggestions to prevent a reoccurrence. I've used several IT companies over the years and Power Up Computers is a the top of that list for both service and cost.

Leo was very honest, straight forward and easy to deal with.

We purchased an older laptop from here (knowingly) and got home to find that because of it's OS it wouldn't download some of the apps my son liked to play. The laptop was for him, so it didn't make sense to keep it. I reached back out to the owner who immediately offered me another option, knowing now what we were looking for. I stopped in two days later and traded the original purchase for another. It works as he said it would and we are super thrilled! Great price, especially seeing as this is a homework/playtime computer! Wonderful service, and happy to help if you let him know what you're looking for!

I got my first gaming desktop from here made by Leo and he does not disappoint, this computer is great! Leo works with customers to assure they get the highest possible value for an outstanding price. It took a little more time than we first hoped, but it was way worth it. Simply the best you could ask for!

I am not a computer genius, but I also am not ignorant either. My video card went out and I had no picture, which is terrible because you can't diagnose without a screen. This was the one situation where I couldn't do anything on my own. I dropped off my computer and was told about the card, and if I bought my card there it was free installation, or I could pick up the computer no charge. I thought that was great, but I left the model of the card I wanted and what followed was a joke. I asked for a fairly current but decently priced card, the Nvidia 760 GTX superclocked. New egg had it on sale for $260, which is what I have to assume was the problem. Dropped off computer Friday and Saturday the boss was mysteriously missing from work. Monday I called and the tech said call back because Leo wasn't there, but I called right back wanting to tell him I would be ok with a normal 760. Guess who answered, yep Leo was ducking the call, but why? Later I received a call that they had a card, and the tech waited like I would stupidly say ok, not knowing the model or price which of course only Leo knew. Tuesday I called at 11:00 AM and still nothing. Remember, all I want is the answer can you get the card I want, and worse Leo sends me an E-mail saying they were busy from Saturday business and stuff from Monday. I dropped my computer off on Friday. I drove straight there and guess who's there? Yes, Leo magically appeared and after all this time I received a speech about how what I wanted was way too much. What? It's my computer, and as it turns out he had a card, something in "stock" for $85. He proceeded to explain all about graphics cards. The funny thing is what I wanted is far from the best. The top card is going for a cool $1000, but I researched the card I wanted on Passmark Benchmarks which ranked the card at Number 12 overall, that's all the current cards, and better it came out number 5 in the lineup for best bargain in computing power per dollar. What's funny is he tried to use that website to "school" me, and explain how the games I played had no need for that good of a card. He looks up the minimum Req's and is actually trying to convince me I am wasting my money by not buying his older and probably used card. I'm not a guru, but I know my games and I know about frames per second and how a card affects your enjoyment of a game. Five days wasted because I think he figured I would get tired of waiting. He mentioned getting me back in a computer, but all I did was plug in my other computer at home. It's not as bad as best buy, but these guys get good reviews from people who don't understand how to take care of their computers. $65 to remove an anti-virus? Why, when you can just download avast or avg for free? Went home and ordered my card that night and new egg had it to me in two days. and my frames per second doubled. I will never know what graphic splendor I missed by taking that used card off their hands.
Thanks goodness I didn't trust this guy. BTW, 19 reviews? there are some decent places that may have two or three reviews, and most address the guy by his first name as well as somehow knowing the name of every technician that works in the place? I found out from the place I just used to install a new motherboard ( notice no name, this isn't the competition it's a real person) that is on the other side of the highway and so nice that "Leo" is well known in the p.c. community for his E-bay ripoffs. I wanted to see if my reviews had been published and see how many other friends and family he used to leave fake reviews. Notice he offers an e-bay service? Do you need a good place to go? Start here and drive at least five miles in any direction. I can't believe this thief is still in business.

I came to this store with a friend that was picking a laptop he got repaired and I ended up buying one myself. I got a brand new netbook for only $175. It wasn't only the price but the service I received. They took almost 30 minutes showing me everything and giving me tips. I never left a review before but I was compelled to do it this time because I was blown away by how nice, friendly and helpful they were with me (day and night with other experiences I had at other computer stores). I'll definitely be back whenever I need any repair service or to buy another computer, and I highly recommend them to anyone

Leo was amazing! I took in my gaming PC for repairs and now it's running fabulously. Installed a new fan that is significantly better than my previous and for a very reasonable price. He knows what he's doing and answered all of my questions expertly, and never made me feel annoying for asking them! He really went above and beyond, even helped get the tower into the car through the snow. I will only be going to Leo for all of my computer needs in the future!

So glad I found this guy and this place! I was able to get a replacement for my 7yr old laptop which finally died on me.The computer I got is better than my old one and will continue to let me work from home and it was less than $130! Let me break it down again, I got a good computer which is a lot better than my old one that lets me work from home for less than $130! Now this place isn't your big box store, in fact it's far from it and that's exactly what you want in a computer place. You want someone who knows their stuff, you want someone who loves what they do, someone who eats breathes and dreams of computers and I could tell when I walked in I had found someplace special. This is a one man show and it operates differently than a big box store andthat's definitely a good thing.
