I missed my original appointment time but Poway Honda nicely changed my time to later in the day upon request. The advisor was very knowledgeable and was able to quickly see what services I had done in the past to help determine what I should do as a 50K maintenance. Like most dealerships or any garage for that matter it seems like a lot of money to service a car. However, they applied available coupons to help me out, without any hassle. I have had nothing but great experiences at Poway Honda and that is why I continue to service my car at their shop.

I had a great experience buying my car from Poway Honda. It was much faster and much less stressful than the 3 prior new vehicles I purchased in the past from other dealerships in the San Diego area. Mike Fein was my salesman and he's a great guy, we had a couple of good laughs. The negotiation and all paperwork only took about 1.5 hrs and the guys were nice enough to stay after closing to work with my schedule. Highly recommend looking here if you are in the market for a Honda. I hope to be back in the future!
Marco helped me. He was super friendly and communicated with me through the whole process. I live in Escondido and there's a Honda dealer there, but I make the drive to Poway because I am confident in their abilities to diagnose and fix any problems I may have with the car.
so i have a issue with some of the electronics in my vehicle (bought used bout 2 years ago) and yes i did go for the extended warranty... so i bring the car in after making an appointment and Mario Ramirez ( the customer service wizard) and Jordan (the electronic wizard) both bend over backwards to help me get the issue squared away smoothly and swiftly...there will be a few days til the new parts arrive... now i have never met either Mario or Jordan before monday afternoon but they treated me like family ...so while there are many other shops closer to my home ...i see trips to Poway Honda in the future for most of my automotive needs

This is in regards to the Service department here at Poway Honda. I just want to give a big thanks to Poway Honda for their Service. They were so helpful to me from the moment I drove into the service drop off area until when I picked up the car. I was made sure I was well taken care of while my car was in the shop--from getting shuttled to where I need to go to--to obtaining a loaner car in a breeze. The customer service I received from them was excellent.
The Dealership Experience: We appreciated Poway Honda's friendly and courteous staff. Our Sales Rep, Timothy, provided a timely response to our inquiries and made sure to answer all our questions. The Finance Manager, Alfred, is thorough, polite, and also answered all our questions. We anticipated an hour process for the finance paperwork, unfortunately, it took two hours. I asked to have all our paperwork pre-filled, legally they are not able too for good reasons. For our purposes, having our children with us, we needed the process to be quicker. Overall it was a smooth and pleasant transaction and we would consider doing Business with Poway Honda again.
For Consumers: We understood that Dealers are a Business, they need to make profit, and their profit can definitely been seen in any Dealership prices. We treated our purchase as just that, a business deal, and negotiated our terms up front. We chose Poway Honda because they provide the most competitive price to what we were willing to pay. Our decision was only based on one thing, the numbers, either they worked or they didn't. Since we negotiated up front and agreed to our Sales price, we made an appointment, singed the necessary paperwork and left with our new vehicle. For us, it was an "easy" purchasing experience. We knew which vehicle we were purchasing, how much we were willing to pay for it, and what the total cost to own would be (FICO, down, interest, payments, insurance). Best advice to purchasing a vehicle, do your research and know what your family's needs/reasons are for wanting/needing that vehicle.
We went late Friday night and were greeted by Mickey. At this point, I was still debating which small SUV I wanted and had narrowed it to the CRV Touring and BMW X3 35i. Mickey provided an excellent customer experience and was very knowledgeable and helpful. We test drove and I had my heart set on the Touring (had every feature I wanted). We had every intent to return to complete the deal, but a great offer came up with the BMW X3 and with their new unlimited miles warranty, we ended up buying the BMW. Although, we did not purchase from Mickey, I would definitely recommend Honda Poway and highly recommend you ask for Mickey.
Update: (6/8/2020) Still 5 stars. I called around 1pm today and the person on the phone had the most pleasant voice. I forgot the name but if my appointment confirmation email is correct, then Sheryal was the one I was speaking with. I called around 1pm and they were able to squeeze me in at 1:40pm.
I feel like I've worked with everyone there? Sorry if I havent mentioned you in any of my reviews on here or Yelp. This time I worked with Marco. He was on top of everything. He made sure I had all of my questions answered and gave me a rundown of everything so I wouldnt be surprised by any charges at the end. I always wait at the dealership and all of the chairs were 6ft apart due to covid. All of the employees were wearing masks and respected everyones space. As always 5/5. Ya'll already knew that from me but just wanted to give Marco a shout out.
I've worked with Christian and Chuck when getting my Honda serviced. Poway Honda breaks down everything they're going to do to your car so it's simple to understand and there are no surprises when you get the final cost. They both check in to give you status updates if you're staying in the waiting room which makes you feel appreciated. Waiting time can take forever so try to bring something to work on or have someone pick you up in the mean time. It may be long but I'd rather have them take their sweet time working on my car than rushing through it. Highly recommend Chriatian and Chuck. Those are the only two I've worked with so far but I'm sure everyone else is just as great.
My car buying experience at Poway Honda is awesome. Mr Vince Tanedo help me with my challenge credit and got me a brand new Civic hatch. It was a smooth transaction no haggling compared to my other experience at different dealerships. I would definitely recommend Poway Honda to my friends and families.
I bought a new HR-V back in August of last year. When it arrived, Raj and I made an agreement and I was Sent over to Jordan, the sales manager, to add accessories. I added the roof rails and cross bars to the order and then went to fill out final paperwork. I stressed to both Raj and Jordan how important this was because I was selling my Ford Escape and I have 2 kayaks I need to tow with this car. 3 weeks after I've been driving the car, Jordan called me to let me know the roof rails and cross bars weren't available for this model and that there was nothing they could do aside from giving me a refund for the rails and crossbars. If I had known that in the beginning, I would have never bought this model, I would have bought the ex-L. Their lack of knowledge on the vehicle and lack of a solution to the problem has caused me much stress and I now have to sell my kayaks. I have purchased and after market roof rack but because the model is so new, it did not fit and none of the aftermarket manufacturers offer one for this model yet.
We had dashboard lights issue with cause hard to identify. the service representative, Nyphon Vue, is very responsive and communicative in updating status and explaining progress and issues. The issues have been resolved satisfactorily and the process was pleasant.
great place with great Hondas chopped local chopping Poway if you need service take it to the big Indian Marcos he'll handle it no one else can handle it like that big Indian Marcos he is the chief of the service department I took my Honda in there with shot brakes blowed out catalytic converter and he handled it all and even recommended services that I needed it wasn't for him my car would have exploded God bless him and God bless Poway Honda and God bless all the mechanics there's a good Filipino one back there and one from El Salvador request those guys though handle your service, very nice!
Terrible experience here, not only 1 unpleasant incident but 3. 1 star is truly deserved.
First off, my salesman Raj was GREAT. Very personable, very low pressure, perfect car salesman. Unfortunately, that's all I can say good for this place.
1. After I decided on a car, I went into the back room to sign all of the paperwork. The guy helping me was a disaster. Was extremely pushy about selling a 1500 dollar extended warranty. He must have asked 7 or 8 times. When I made it clear I wasn't interested his demeanor completely changed. They must work on commission or something because all the sudden I might as well have been a piece of trash. He became extremely rude to the point of hostile. There was an error in the contract that added in a bunch of extras that I had already told them I didn't want. I would have been charged a ton of extra money if I didn't carefully review the contract! When I pointed out that there were a bunch of added expenses in the contract that I didn't want, the guy aggressively said "well that's why you should have made sure you were clear about what you wanted! Now we have to start all over!" I had told them what I wanted. They screwed up.
2. I filled out a customer survey after my experience detailing what a poor time I had at the dealership. Left my email address and phone number. Received no response whatsoever. They already had my money and didn't care.
3. The car itself. The battery died 3 times in the 5 weeks following purchase. I never left lights or electronics or anything on. The problem started two weeks from purchase. Getting in touch with anyone who could help was impossible. Literally left 4 messages with 3 different people and one answering machine. No response. When I finally got in touch with someone, I was told that they don't cover batteries at all even if they die right after leaving the shop. I spent $15,000+ dollars on a vehicle at this place, and they were too cheap to cover a $100 dollar battery that was problematic so quickly after leaving the dealership. The reason I went to a large dealership was to avoid this kind of treatment. Wish I would have gone to some mom and pop shop in the ghetto.
Araiya was fantastic! She was extremely helpful and was always attentive to my needs. She made sure the process was fast and easy. JR, the desk manager worked with me on getting the best deal possible.The whole dealership made sure that I had a great car buying experience. Worked with Cortney in sales and Ryan in financing. Both were courteous and genuine with our new car. We had come off a terrible used car purchase and they were the exact opposite. Nothing was hard sale and I felt comfortable and not "guilted" into purchasing add ons I did not consider necessary. I went out of the way to go to Poway Honda because of how they treated me on the phone. I would like to come back here in the future if I need another car.
Nicola Chriss was our sales consultant who worked with us and Alfred Parker was the finance manager. Excellent customer service and really easy to talk to. You can tell they really look out for their customers. As a first time buyer, they made it really easy and comfortable for me to buy from them. Without a doubt, would recommend nicola to anyone looking for a new car. Both of them were really enthusiastic and charismatic which makes them personable. Over all it was a good experience. They treated us good and were not to pushy. I even had to take my new car back to have some things looked at a few days after I bought it and they set me up with a rental right away. My only complaint was there was a very minor scratch on the trunk that I asked to have removed since it was brand new and there when I bought it. Even my sales rep took a picture of it before we left the lot the day of the purchase. They tried to tell me it was gone when I came back to return the rental...but it was not!! It was still there and I didn't appreciate being lied to. It was barely noticeable but I could still see it and I know they could to. I would have rather they been honest and just say we couldn't completely remove it and what do you think? Anything but lie and think that I wouldn't have seen it. I don't take lying lightly and I was offended they thought I was blind or to dumb to see it.

it was a pretty quick process when i pulled up to the appointment lane i believe it was Andrew Moran that helped me out. He was pretty nice and straight forward getting details about my car which i like. Called me a couple times to let me know my car was done which is awesome as well.
It was a very positive experience. Unlike most other dealers, the sales manager was out in the open and was approachable along with our sales representative. There was less of "let me go and talk to my sales manager and see what he says about your offer".
I called and got many options regarding appointment time slots. Upon arrival I was greeted immediately with a host and then with the service adviser. He reviewed all scheduled services with me thoroughly & acknowledged my 15% off Costco coupon and arranged my courtesy ride home promptly. The car was well washed when I picked it up. Five star.
Scheduled my first oil change appointment for my 2016 Civic at 10:30 AM. I was there for 2.5 hours. An oil change should not take 2.5 hours, especially if you have an appointment. I let the service department know that I purchased their maintenance plan when I set up the appointment and reminded them again when I arrived. When my car was ready, I received an invoice for $140 for an oil change and tire rotation. I once again reminded them that I had the maintenance plan and that I scheduled an appointment for an oil change only, not a tire rotation. The tire rotation fee was waived. The car was not washed and my seat settings weren't readjusted to the settings I left them at. Will give them one more chance and will have to use another dealership if things aren't better next time.
It was easiest and best car purchase so far. Thank you to the salesman who made the process calm. Thank you to the Service Center for all you do. Looking forward to this new chapter in my life. Take care.
My son and I had been looking for a used car for several weeks. I found just the right one on the Poway Honda website and made an appt. for the following morning. We were immediately greeted and directed inside. We worked with Mickie! He is awesome. He not only addressed what I was looking for for my son but spoke directly to him. My son knows a lot about cars and others had been talking down to him. Mickie spoke directly to him and did follow up with him as well. I SO appreciated that! Nikki was our actual point of contact and she was amazing as well. I will be in the market for a car for myself in a few month and will come back to Poway Honda!
I called for an appointment on Monday morning, all they had was 4:20pm for an oil change. I took my car in and was taken care of right away. I was in and out within an hour and they even washed my car! Mike D. was very friendly and helpful.
I shopped 12 different Honda dealers in OC, San Diego, and LA counties. Poway simply beat everyone in price and service. I was greeted by my salesperson before I even got out of the car. He already had 2 others customers lined up before me. He offered snacks and beverages as we waited. No haggle, he promised the price and honored it and actually beat it. I went into signing and left a big smile without any remorse. I would recommend anyone to Poway if you are in LA, SB,OC, SD, or Riverside area.
Poway Honda has always provided me with great service, both in customer service and servicing my car. My last service was no exception. The only service I needed at that time was a smog certification but they also provided a free safety and service check. This added effort is important to me because I'm elderly and can no longer perform the self checks that I was able to at one time. It helps me to feel safer on the road and confident that my car is well maintained. In addition, I had just bought my first smart phone--I know :)--and was not yet comfortable with using it, but the service representative was very kind and patient as he walked me through the process of receiving and approving my service contract using the text function. I have bought 3 Hondas from Poway Honda, had them all serviced there and have always been pleased with both the buying and servicing processes.
I co-signed for a vehicle and they continually call me despite telling them that they need to contact the person who signed the lease first. They're either incompetent or just don't care.
Buying a new car from Poway Honda was a great experience. Raj helped & went above & beyond to help me get the car I wanted with financing better than I could get at my credit union. The whole process was a little over 2 hours. Can't beat that. I will definitely recommend Poway Honda to anyone who is need of a new car.

It was very positive. We already had our deal in place before we got there. When we did get there, there was a slight misunderstanding about the color of car. It was rectified quickly and we were in our new car before we knew it. It was such a great experience, that I m sure we ll be back in the future.
My technician was cold and tried to up sell me . My car feels weird since I've received it, the e brake is super stiff. Make sure you get the right help. I gave extra stars because the shuttle driver was AMAZING.

This visit was about 4 recalls on my 2020 Honda Odyssey. I did make the appointment to make sure that service dept knows about the 4 recall repair work. Unfortunately, I found out that there were no parts for couple of recall work. So disappointed.

Test drove a few vehicles while my wife was looking for a car. When she informed Jason (?) that she didn't want to talk numbers on a car we drove, he left us by stating he had other customers who "wanted to buy a car". My wife wasn't finished looking at their selection, so I had to go inside and get a manager to drive another car. Needless to say, the TWO vehicles we just purchased were through another dealer.
