The purchase went well, the car was a "certified" pre owned. Right after we bought it, it rained and the drivers side wiper was split. On the certification paperwork wipers were listed as good. All I wanted was to have the wiper replaced. I emailed and called twice was transferred around and left 2 messages. When I finally received return call, was told to just go to the no appointment service line and they would fix. When I did this, I was then told I needed to "find" Steve since he was the person I spoke with. The girl (name i should have written down) at service desk paged him, I waited over 10 minutes, never came. I asked again, she told me to go to the main reception desk and figure it out. Really? So I go up there and finally a nice salesman (who's name I regret not getting) said he would help me. Then Glenn (hope right name, I'm better with faces not names), who appeared to be a mechanic/auto technician came got my keys and fixed the wiper and front licens plate that had fallen off the day before within 15 minutes. Sales person and Glenn kept this from being a one star review. Bottom line lack of communication and little service from the service desk.

I took my car in to get an oil change about a year ago. They tried to up sell me $700 in unnecessary maintenance work. That there ruined the experience for me and I won't ever go back.

If that was where my experience with Poway Honda ended I would have just wrote it off as a bad company to do business with and move on. However, they won't let me: I get a pre-recorded phone call from them every three months telling me I need to go back to get my car serviced again. They have no easy option to stop these annoying calls. I'm on the do-not-call list but apparently they feel like they don't need to respect my desire to not be called.

I bought my Honda here 6 months ago and everything was perfect. Paperwork and credit checks took for ever, which was expected. Fortunately they have a little room with toys for little kids to play in and a popcorn machine with free popcorn. The person helping us with our purchase also had free drinks and candy we used to bribe our kids in to behaving well.

I also brought in my van for an oil change, tire rotation , and an unfortunate recall on the sliding door locks the other day. The service was great. They gave me accurate estimates on time. One of my tires even had a nail in it and they patched it for about $3 and didn t charge for labor.

So far I haven t had any troubles with them and someone has always been available to help me. I was never left standing around forever or having to hunt someone down for help. Information has always been clear and understandable and they answered all my questions. I did not get the feeling that they were trying to push me to buy a car. But our salesman sure knew how to say the right things that made us decide to go with a Honda. So far I m very happy with my purchase and experienced at the Poway Honda.

I've had only good experiences at Poway Honda. From purchasing a new car to oil changes, I only have good things to say. I recently brought my car in because it was leaking engine oil. Marco Ramirez fixed up my car in less than 24 hours. Not only did he make sure that everything was back in working order, but he also changed my car's oil and rotated the tires too. Really great service!

Its stressful buying a new car. Luckily Poway Honda made it made it painless as possible. My parents and I called in to make an appointment to test drive the new car and when we got there, the sales associate, Mickey Perez, was ready for us. Mickey was very helpful; answered all my questions with no hesitations. We went back the next day to purchase the car and got an amazing deal on it. Mickey was great at explaining the breakdown of the costs and what I was exactly paying for. He did not push anything I didn't want to purchase either. Great service and I would recommend any friend to Poway Honda if they're looking to purchase a new car.

The associates had answers to all of my questions and even double checked with me to make sure that their answers were correct. Marco was also a huge help to me when I needed to get my tyre replaced, and let me know the details of the cost for the installation. Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Doc called me first thing in the morning to follow-up on my web inquiry regarding a New 2019 Civic. He welcomed us at the dealer, showed us the different exterior and interior colors they have in stock, gave honest pros/cons regarding the choices, addressing all the questions my wife and I had. He put his best foot forward and offered us a competitive price that we could happily accept. He even drove our new car back to our home located 30 mins away. I will continue being a big fan of Honda thanks to my pleasant experience at Poway Honda.

I'm really pleased with the recent car buying experience from Poway Honda. After deciding on a Honda, I really braced myself for the worst going in to a dealership to ask questions and look at cars. It was unfounded. My sales guy, Doc Marmor, was really great. We talked about the different options and he took me through looking at both used and new vehicles. I didn't go with a vehicle on my first, second, or third trip there. However, Doc was such an easy guy to work with I kept coming back to see different options and cars. In the end, I found exactly the car I wanted with zero buyer's remorse. I don't write reviews unless I feel strongly about something. I can't recommend going to Doc enough. The whole process was smooth and easy.

The guy that came out to help me never introduced himself to me so I had no idea who was helping me. He hardly made eye contact and spoke just above a whisper to which I still hardly heard him. I asked him if I still had my Honda care and he acknowledged that I did and then he asked if I wanted my tires rotated. I asked if that was covered under Honda Care just to make sure and he promptly said no never has been it would $27.99 if you wanted them rotated. I said no but found it odd. After some researching I noticed that on Honda's website under Honda Care it indicates that a tire rotation is included. So much for my tires wearing evenly now...

Purchased a used car last week. Have already been to the service department three times and most recently Waited over 7 hours for my car back. Still didn't but Glenn called me and let me know why the wait was so long. I probably won't get it back till Saturday. I feel like because I didn't purchase a Honda, that I'm not getting the same service. Glenn has been very helpful when I'm there. My concern is I purchased this car and it may have a transmission issue That was not disclosed. I'm just hoping for the best and that I'll get the car that I purchased and actually have time to enjoy it. I will update my review once There is an outcome.

Between Jason, Glenn in service and the General Manager Jacki, the Mustang debacle was handled well. I am happy with my new(ER) car they set me up with, slightly higher payments than the mustang, but I am very appreciative of their hard work and dedication to get me the right price and work with my budget. Big thank you to Jacki for getting involved and making me feel like more of a priority. Currently signing the paperwork for the new car and relieved that everything worked out for the better in the end.

Buying a car is a terrible thing to have to do. It takes a long time whether you have the car picked out right away or not. Both the finance manager and sales team helped me efficiently even though every agent was busy with other customers. I love the car that I got and did so for a great price. It did take 4 hours but.. that's pretty much expected, it is a big investment and I'd recommend making that with the Poway honda team. Man have civics come a long way...

Awful dealership, i would not recommend wasting your time or money here. I found a 2011 Toyota corolla that i came to look at with my sister whom we were looking at the car for. We were met by a salesman named Gary who prided himself on his long history with this reputable dealer and company. He stated he knew how things go around a car lot and that he was a honest salesman that had been working there for the past 15 years. We were then taken to view the car. Pictures of the car on the website did not show the cosmetic damage on the outside of the vehicle. The hubcaps on the drivers side of the vehicle had been severely scratched up, the car door had a dent, and the tail light had been scuffed up.The passenger side of the vehicle also seemed to have been repainted as the color in paint wasn't completely the same and the passenger mirror had paint on it so the paint job was obviously cheaply and quickly done. When i had asked Gary about the damages and about the bad coverup paint job he said the car was not repainted and that it could be wax on just side of the vehicle. As for the hubcaps, dent, and tail light scuff he overlooked it and didn't mention my concern again until i brought it up later. I test drove the car and mechanically it ran great or at least seemed to. We got back to the dealership and headed into Gary's office and began to talk about the car, i brought up the damage on the car again and he reassured me that the hubcaps could be replaced, i asked about the CarFax and he pulled it up for me. We went over the history of the car and learned it had one recall that he said had been fixed. He also told me that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the car and mechanically it was excellent and could last another 100-200k miles as it stood with little maintenance. The CarFax showed us that the vehicle had never been in any accident or had any reported damages and that his mechanics looked at it prior to being listed for sale and found nothing. He began to tell us how we would be able to take the car to a mechanic if we wanted but that the car was in great shape. We left for the day and told the salesman we would be in touch. My sister chose to take the car into a Toyota mechanic so the car could be looked at from people who knew the car best. Our step mom asked to speak to the mechanics that looked at the car at Honda and Gary said no because we already had planned to go get it taken to a mechanic. This seemed very shady. The car was brought to the mechanic and we paid for an exam on the car, the mechanics at Toyota instantly were suspicious because of the paint on the side of the car that had looked repainted. The mechanics then looked at the car and found 2 major issues, the timing belt cover gasket had a decent size leak, and the front suspension strut boots were torn and caught on the damper. The mechanics estimated that the repair cost would be 3k when Honda was trying to sell the car for 9k out the door. My sister and step mom took the car back to the dealer where they were met by Gary again. They told Gary the Toyota mechanic found some issues and he said "let me guess the timing chain leak, and water pump." Immediately my sister and step mom were shocked to hear that Gary was aware of the issues with the car and also knew about a separate issue that wasn't found by the mechanics at Toyota. They expressed concern to Gary that they weren't made aware of the issue however he let them take it to a Toyota dealer to get it looked at anyway and then seemed agitated that they were concerned, that the leak wasn't even big and it wasn't a big deal. The manager was called in and they called the mechanics at Toyota to see if they would fix it and they determined that they would not. Gary rudely said "well then it looks like this isn't the car for you so," my sister and step mom left. Overall rude service, dishonest staff and deceptive salesmanship. We no longer trust this dealership. You will probably get sold a car with major issues that they wont inform you of.

I was greeted by Nyphon (Service Advisor). From the very beginning, Nyphon was very professional and cordial explaining what the scheduled service was all about. I informed him I was going to wait at the lobby for the service to be done and he prioritized my request. The service on my CR-V was completed within the hour and a half that Nyphon had estimated. At the end, he explained and went over all the items that were part of the service. Overall, Nyphon did an excellent job. Nyphon is part of an awesome service team at Poway Honda. I plan to schedule the next CR-V service visit with him. Keep up the good work!

I want to thank the staff of Poway Honda for the help and attention shown to my family, when we come to their office, just to see cars. We did not have money and we realized that we can not afford a new car. Therefore, when a consultant named Matthew asked us, "How are you?" We joked: - We are looking for our car, you have not seen it? Matthew invited us to go to his desk and told us about a program that allows you to build a credit score and at the same time use their own new car. We liked the proposal and after consultation of all the details of the loan, for us to be comfortable and to Poway Honda did not venture, we went to the signing of the contract. Francisco manager kindly explained everything and then gave us the keys to a new car. We wonder how this is possible, because we did not have a credit score, and even money for a down payment. But we just said, "Welcome to America." And we went out of the office on the new car. And in another dealer's office, not Honda, we were given only leaflets and asked to come back when we have a credit score. Thanks to Honda for the help! Soon we will need a second car and we know exactly where we go to buy it - in Poway Honda. Come there and you are on yourself feel the care and attention the team Poway Honda.

1st time customer of Poway Honda, the experience was positive overall during the purchase of our CPO Honda Accord, Friendly staff; no pressure sales environment.

There were a couple minor defects observed during the test drive needing attention prior to us closing the deal, the staff at the dealership delivered on resolving the defects as promised meeting our expectations fully.

We would recommend Poway Honda to family and friends based on our experience so far, as well as the Honda brand in general, they make great stuff, the cars speak for themselves.

I have owned 4 cars in my lifetime and purchasing from Poway Honda was the worst car buying experience of my life. Full of false promises and straight up lies.

Sales person Nikki demonstrated little interest in taking us for a complete or meaningful test drive. Nikki unpromted promised if we were to put a deposit on the car (Friday) the car would be through safety inspection and detailing ready for pickup at the very latest on Monday. We placed the deposit and expected to pickup the car on Monday.

Monday morning we called to checkup on the progress and salesperson Doc advised us to come in and sign the paperwork and that the car would be ready before close of business. We were not willing to make the 50 minute drive to possibly not bring home the car so we asked for a call back when the car was ready. After hearing nothing all day we called back just before close of business only to hear the mechanics had gone home and that the car was not ready.

Thursday rolled around and we finally return to complete the paperwork. Doc took us for a complete and excellent test drive and advised us a door piece was coming on the AM fedEx shipment. We noticed several items not yet addressed in the detail promised by Nikki (key scratches, trim dent, steering wheel peeling) Doc immediately had the car sent back to detailing to address these issues. Detailing was unable to address the peeling steering wheel so Doc offered to have a complementary cover placed on it...what we got was a dead cat of a steering wheel cover that was far to large to safely drive with.

After completing paperwork the part was still not present and we were promised that it must be on the PM FedEx shipment.....we end up taking the car home with a promise of a phone call when the part is in to pickup and have installed.

The day after taking the car home I receive a message from Doc that a critical receipt that the dealership needed had mistakenly been sent home with us. I advise Doc that I am available in the late morning hours for him to come and retrieve the document from my residence. He proclaims gratitude that I will be available and after leaving my schedule open for the time agreed upon I hear nothing from him until close of business that he missed me.

Days pass and multiple calls from Doc asking for when I would be available to return the document to Poway Honda (50 min away) I get a request to take pictures of the documents and text them to him. I comply and receive no response or inkling of thanks.

I have owned this car for 4 weeks now and still without this door piece.

Great customer service and such a great dealership they helped me out so much. I was so confused and upset with my car and no ride. But they got everything done by the end of the day and got me going I really appreciate it Poway Honda I'm so relieved my car is alive again! Thank you again for explaining and answering all my questions and concerns!!

Excellent experience. Negotiated price via e-mails with Timothy. Got very good price for 2017 CR-V EX-L. At the dealership it was very easy to complete the deal. Timothy walked me through the whole process, including financing, car inspection, etc. My fifth car purchase in the last 3 years was much easier then all the rest. Timothy did an amazing job.

To be honest, Poway Honda was not my first choice for service because it is a little out of the way. However, their service was top notch. My service advisor knocked it out of the park with exceptional service, thorough communication and even arranging a ride to the rental car location when he knew I was in a hurry. Caveat emptor if you're paying for service out of pocket. Their estimates for repairs are very high, you may do better for out of warranty service, elsewhere.

The service Rep Marco did a good job by explaining to me the potential issue of my car and offered options for me to take. This review is way overdue. I have had several incredible experiences with Poway Honda. I started using their Service Department a couple of years ago based on a referral of a friend. Even though I didn't own a Honda at the time (I owned a Mazda and a Suzuki), the service department staff treated me as if I were part of the Honda family. The service has always timely and cost effective. My experience with the Service department has been so positive that I recently traded my Mazda in for a Honda. My experience with the Sales staff was no different. They gave me a fair price on my trade and no hassle pricing on Honda. Just last week I had some after market work performed there and received the usual excellent service I have come to expect from the staff there. Whenever, I hear someone mention their having car problems or complain about their current service provider, I ALWAYS recommend they take their cars to Poway Honda. I recommend you do as well.

It was easy for me to locate a sales representative, and when I did, the representative was not pushy and was able to answer all my questions quickly and accurately. Very pleased.

Absolutely terrible excuse for customer service. Nyphon specifically as a service attendant. My wife's vehicle had to go in for a recall on the air bags. So we made an appointment to avoid standing around waiting for a long time. When we got there we walked in we told Nyphon what we were there for and he, very hurriedly told us to go stand by our vehicle. We later learned we were supposed to stand in a certain line since we had an appointment however he failed to mention that. As a result of the negligence we spent about 30 minutes standing around outside waiting on someone to help us. Keep in mind we made an appointment to avoid this. This is just the beginning of bad customer service. When we went back to the dealership to retrieve the vehicle we found a mess of what appeared to me to be some kind of chipped paint. I immediately thought it would be some kind of chemical residue as they were working on the air bags. My wife informed me of the mess when we got home and the next day I called to get the issue fixed. Nyphon was extremely defensive saying there is no way they made a mess in the vehicle of that sort. He was extremely rude and avoided responsibility at all cost. I guess he assumed I was taking time out of my day to call just for the fun of it? I don't honestly know why anyone would do anything like that. However, he treated me like dirt. He finally obliged that if I brought the vehicle back he would address it "when he had time to." I explained that was completely unacceptable as I have already wasted more time on this than I ever wanted to. We were going in because Honda made a mistake in the first place, and then we waited 30 minutes because Nyphon failed to properly help us, and now he wanted me to go back and wait for him to get around to it. After explaining that to him he said he would handle it as soon as I arrived. That is the one thing that he actually handled well. When I did bring it back in he was there very quickly. However he remained extremely defensive and suggested that the mess was paper that was falling apart from the heat. I was honestly baffled at that as it looked nothing like paper none the less, I pulled out all the papers that were in the glove box and asked him which paper he thought it was. He did not have an answer for that but still stated there is no way they made that mess. So I guess I'm a liar or someone broke into the car and made a mess. I cannot think of another alternative. My wife's vehicle is in no way spotless and the mess was not necessarily why we were concerned. The fact that we had no idea what the mess was, that was the concern. He angrily agreed to get someone to vacuum up the mess. When I further told him that the hood was not even shut all the way when we retrieved it and asked him if we did that too he finally took some level of responsibility and apologized for that and made it very clear he was strictly apologizing for the hood. When I got the vehicle back the second time they mostly cleaned up the mess however the young man who worked on the vehicle did something that had not been done through out the entire transaction. He treated me like a person..... So the guy working in the back knows how to say "I'm not sure what the mess was but if we made it I'm sorry." where the man they pay to actually talk to the customers is utterly rude, overly defensive, and plainly a jerk, for lack of a better word. It was amazing. To him I could say, "I realize you were probably not the same person that did this, it's not your fault." because he knew how to take responsibility. Amazing. To further emphasize how wrong Nyphon was, when I got the car home and opened the glove box there was still remains of whatever that mess was. I was not going to let my wife drive around with whatever it was in the vehicle so I got a wet cloth and started to clean it out myself. The lining along the bottom came up and I could see the little hole that the service men were working in. It was not all the way shut and there was more residue under the lining and in the hole.... No way that was paper

I arrived a little early for my appointment. I was met by the service rep with a smile, a handshake and a "Good morning" greeting. I explained my situation. He said he would have the problem diagnosed and an estimated cost and time-to-repair for me as soon as possible. The problem was fixed in a reasonable period of time. He asked if I had any questions or additional concerns. I said no. The cashier greeted me with a smile & a "Hi, how are you?" salutation. I paid my bill. She said "Have a nice day" as I departed her location. It was a very enjoyable, friendly experience throughout.
