We have been taking our Odyssey here for service and repair over the past 4 years. I also brought my Tundra here from time to time. The customer service has been exceptional. We usually worked with Al R., but other agents we dealt with have been as good and courteous.
I found that Al has been straightforward and honest. He only recommended what needed to be fixing or servicing and with a full and detailed explanation. One time we had to get our windshield fixed and Honda didn't handle a certain part of it as part of their service. It was recommended I take the van to a close by local shop. Al took necessary time to speak to the other shop explaining the issues and followed up a couple more times after that to ensure I was properly taking care of. Exceptional Service!

The worst service department I ever dealt with. If I could give them zero stars, I would. I normally don't write reviews but had such a negative experience here that I had to share my experience. I decided to go to this Honda to do the air bag recall because it was closer to my home than Mission Valley Honda where my mom purchased her car and a co worker had such great things to say about this service department. I did not read the reviews before taking my mom's car here which was my first mistake. If I had, I would not have taken her car here. When I first called, they told me that the air bag recall parts were on back order and that it would take 6 to 8 weeks and that they would call me to make an appointment when the part came in. Fast forward 2 and 1/2 months later, no call, I had to follow up with them (This probably should have clued me in as to what kind of service department this was). The airbag part was magically in when I called them so I made my appointment. Came in on a Saturday morning appointment. 2 1/2 to 3 hours later, was out the door after the service department tried to upsell me on other services which is to be expected, I had to rush home to give my mom her car back for her to go to work. I did not check the car thoroughly inside and out when I got the car back assuming that I would get the car back in the same condition that I dropped it off in. My mistake in assuming that. The next day, my mom notices that there were a couple of washers missing on the inside rear door handle and the handle was not connected to the door. I bring the car back in the following morning before work asking them to fix it. They install the washers but tell me that they had to order the paneling that covers the washers and that would take 3 - 5 business days. They reiterate again that they did not touch the interior door handle. Apparently it was so far fetch to believe that they would have touch the door when they fixed the airbag and apparently went through the car to find other services that they could upsell me on. Basically inferred that my mom and I were lying. (Apparently, my mom and I take washers out of the interior door handles and try to blame other people) At this point, I really did not care who did it, I just wanted this fixed and my mom's car returned to the condition that I dropped it off in. Fast forward 3 - 5 business days later, no call or follow - up and me having to call multiple times and leaving messages about this part. Finally got a response a little over a month later to the multiple messages that I left them that the part is finally in and to come in to get this fixed. Finally came in this morning before work to get my mom's car back to the same condition that it was in before this craptastic headache began. To add insult to injury, they made me pay for the $8 part to get my mom's car back to the same condition before they touched it. They were still denying it and basically accusing me of lying. Right then and there, I just want my mom's car back to the same condition it was in before they got a hold of it and I considered the $8 a small price to pay to finally severing any relationship we had with this service department and my mistake and lesson learned for ever going here to begin with.
To take away from my experience here, this service department:
-Does not do any follow up calls to any messages left
- Blame and accuse the customer if the customer's vehicle is not returned to the customer in the same condition.
- Make the customer pay for parts to return their vehicle in the same condition before they got a hold of it.
Suffice to say, I will not be returning to this service department for any future issues with my mom's car

My sale guy was Colby- ask for Colby people! Sweet, down to earth guy that was with me every step of the way. No haggle. Wasn't there all day. They helped me with my trade in value. I got my car on Saturday night and obviously the banks were closed and they still let me leave with my new car and not having to put in a down, allowing me to come back Monday to bring them the check. The vibe is laid back. Trustworthy dealership. Yes, you'll probably pay more for repairs here than you would from the mechanic in a small shop down the street, but I'm always pleased with the quality of the repair work that comes out of Poway Honda. The service advisors (Nyphon Vue, in particular) always go the extra mile to ask the right questions, get the parts needed for the repair, keep you abreast of the status of the repair, arrange for you to be dropped off back at your home, and notify you quickly when the work is done. They're a very pleasant interface between the customer and the mechanic. This is a very good Honda shop, in my book. I have no hesitation getting my Hondas repaired here, and recommending Poway Honda to friends.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLES HERE FOR SERVICE! EVER.
Short version: They'll steal money from your car, break stuff that they shouldn't even be touching, then they'll accuse you of lying about it.
Long version:
For the third time in a row, MONEY WAS STOLEN FROM MY CAR when I brought it in for service. Now this is probably my fault for wanting to give their people the benefit of the doubt... I even clearly stated when I dropped the car off that money had been stolen previously, that I knew exactly how much was in there when I dropped it off and that I would check as soon as I picked it up, hoping that this would be enough to prevent the theivery from happening again. No dice. The icing on the cake? They also broke one of the compartments where money could be kept. I didn't know service technicians had to go into those compartments to change oil and rotate tires!!
After discovering that I had been robbed yet again, I alerted the service director, Christopher Melton. To make a long story short, he rudely ACCUSED ME OF LYING about the whole situation and of making it all up. I am appalled at 1) being robbed AGAIN, and 2) about how incredibly poor their customer service is. There was no assurance that this would be looked into, or that it was something that was taken seriously by upper management. Rather, I was told to take everything out of my car before bringing it in (probably because he knows that his technicians can't be trusted around a couple dollar bills lying around).
Save yourself before it's too late: Poway Honda does not value you as a customer! You're better off taking your car (and money!) elsewhere.

I've always been happy with Poway Honda's service. We own two new Hondas, a 2015 Fit and 2016 Accord, both of which were purchased outside of San Diego County. Each car has had a minor warranty issue, which Poway Honda took care of with no problem. I've also had other service performed there on my previous 2002 Accord. They also tried to help me with some infotainment system issues on my 2016 Accord. They gave it their all, but those problems are endemic to the system, not faulty hardware. But they spent 2 weeks on it while I was out of town, even replacing the head unit. I will continue to go to Poway Honda for service.

The check list was most helpful and enabled me to understand when I need to return. I have avoided dealer service for 30 years in NJ due to lack of trust and process aggravation. I am new to CA and will definitely have all service done by Poway Honda as they made me feel confident that they would not take advantage of a senior lady. It's a great relief to know I can count on them and if I buy a new car, they will get my business.

Today we just traded that one in for another used Volvo at Poway Honda. Mickey Perez helped us this time. From the start Mickey was intent on fitting the family to the car and not the other way around. He listened. Yeah, he can talk too, but never the pressured drive to make a sale. I appreciated the efficiency he showed in getting an estimate for our trade in and moving us through the paperwork. No wasted time, let me say that again, no wasted time.

I was a dedicated scheduled maintenance guy who went to the dealer. After my last few visits to the Poway Honda service department I not only will never go there again but I don't want to buy another Honda (and so stated to the corporate Honda survey they sent me).
I did not appreciate the service department's continual attempts to up-sell or try to convince me to have services done when they have not actually examined the vehicle.
My most recent visit was the proverbial straw: I asked them to diagnose my HVAC system which stopped working the day before my scheduled maintenance appointment. They cited that my HVAC had suffered a multi-component failure which would cost over $2300 to repair. Disbelieving that five components would fail simultaneously, I paid for the examination ($153?) and went for a second opinion. The fault was a relay which cost $34. By the way, the write-up for the HVAC diagnostic failed to cite what any of the problems were or the failed components- didn't I pay $153 for that information?

The financing guy was a different story. My most recent advisor was Nyphon and he is excellent! I would say he's been the best so far. He's very helpful, friendly and explains everything in detail. I never feel like he's selling anything to me, which I'm so appreciative of. But if there's something that does need to be done, I trust him. And then when everything was done they said I needed a new pump....so why would you charge me to change the fluid and then tell me I need a new pump?!

The attendant said it would take over 2 hours for just an oil change. At that point, I left. This place is overpriced and poorly managed.

So. They don't do dealer adds like pinstripes etc to make the car cost more. Just as it rolled off the line. Went in over a couple days and thou i couldn't get the car i wanted in the right color at first i ended up with something better in my opinion. Never had a new car so lots of firsts for me.
A good team, seemed very honest and i feel like i got a good deal on my car ( was below invoice on this car thanks to wiggle room and negotiation). Was a fast and fun process, and even thou we discovered a scratch on the last step before driving away they promised to take care of it As it was found before leaving the lot. The discounts on any addons for the next 30 days really handy too for floor mats etc.

Very unsatisfied, unhappy customer. First my husband and I were told on the phone that when we return the leased vehicle that had very low mileage; they would pay us for those miles. That was a big LIE we found out when we went to this dealership. So did NOT want to purchase or lease another vehicle from this dealer so we decided to return this vehicle. When my husband return the vehicle, he spoke to a finance manager and she said we would not have any more payments. That was the deal when he left the dealership. Now we have a settlement letter from Honda Financial services requesting to pay our last car payment!!!! So my husband call the dealer, and gave him a run about from person to person and NEVER called him back. When I called today to follow up, I was told the manager is no longer working there and left a message for a another manager.
UPDATE:
I spoke to a General Manager regarding this matter. She told me what the car was appraised at and I don't believe how this car was appraised. I believe they appraised this car to make it even, so we would not get any money for having low mileage.
What we were told before the vehicle was brought in to what actually happened is completely different. Seems like this is a complete manipulation to get customer's money.

I did not have a positive experience at another Honda dealer. I emailed the Poway dealership to schedule an appointment. Timothy Zank quickly responded and told me they would beat any competitors offer. I walked in and told him what I wanted to pay. The deal was done in about 15 minutes. The longest part was them prepping the car for me. Any future Honda s will be bought through Poway Honda.
