This is a absolutely beautiful resort with so much to offer its guests. I was blown away by their amazing and courteous staff, as well as the quality of all goods/services.

Just a great resort to hang out take the kids to the pool lots of poolside service and cabanas to shade in. Highly recommended if you're in town or from out of town and a great golf course the match

Had a good time relaxing outside in the pool area of the hotel. We had some great food buy the pool as we enjoyed the good weather during the early spring. The hotels itself are older and a bit outdated, which is why this doesn t quite receive a 5 in my eyes. Every member of the staff I dealt with was friendly and they even let us use our food vouchers together even though you were only supposed to use one per pool visit.

I went there for my anniversary and stayed two nights and couldnt wait to use the pools! The pools were full of kids that were not being watched by there parents and the staff was nowhere to be found! The lazy river was filthy and kids were in it with no tubes and horsing around ! not a staff member to be found! The room we stayed in was hot and we reported it and they gave us a fan and said it was running fine! The sinks stunk! Over all i will not stay there agian it was horrible!

The hotel was OK. The restaurant was ok. The bar was OK. I think that was the problem. Everything was just ok. The hotel is a 30 year old revitalized facility. The remodel was well done, but the layout is still 30 years old. There was only one restaurant on property that seemed to be open and easily accessible. The food there was excellent, but after a week, it got old. The bar was ok, but closed early. All bars have the same selection of typical beers and cocktails. Again, just ok. I don't have any real complaints, but I can't rave either.

The property is very nice. The staff is even nicer. The rooms are very dated and could stand a face lift. In today's society with all the technology you'd think or at least like to have several outlet plugs to accommodate ALL of your devices. Well they don't. That's a pet peeve of mine. With the unexpected rain that Arizona has been having a small lake accumulates outside of our room door. We weren't expecting that upon arrival. Needles to say we wouldn't use this property again.

Absolutely gorgeous views from restaurant, A Different Point of View. Just the drive up is an adventure.

Left my power bank in room after I checked out from the hotel. Call the front desk ask if they can locate it and left in front desk or proshop at Lookout Mountain. Because I am playing golf at Lookout Mountain, they located my power bank and Shuttle it all the way to the #10 holes for me. Great people great service!

The view is spectacular!! The service was awesome!! Absolutely loved this place!!

Nice place. It appears that Hilton is putting money into the resort, there is a lot of construction activity right now. But it is a relaxed environment and it is close to downtown and yet provides a relaxed setting.

Not only were we not able to get our daughters wheelchair into the room, but it just went downhill from there. The bathroom sink has NO hot water. We let it run from both sides for over 5 minutes with no change. The bedroom floor has an inch drop halfway through the room under the carpet, and one of the pillows has something funky on it. This is NOT a place I would stay again!!
Yes, they did contact us and moved us to a different room with an adjoining adaptive room. However, the adaptive room had a sprinkler head right above the door to the bathroom that was completely rusted, corroded, and dripped water out of the bottom of it. And the adaptive shower, had black mold all over the grout. I have pictures of this too. All in all, this was still a horrible visit and I would never stay there again. The bedrooms would fail any fire code safety check. I don't know how you can operate with beds blocking half the doorway to exit.

Booked for a romantic getaway for a late Valentine's, and was offered that and more. Service is outstanding! Views are beautiful. Room was cozy and bed was comfortable. No problem connecting to the Wi-Fi even on a rainy night. Parking was a bit difficult, but we managed! Will visit again!

We just checked in here today. It was ok at first. But we have been hearing scratching in the bathroom like a creature making noise off and on since we've arrived. We were reluctant to open the bath door to find ourselves in the company of a rat living in the bathroom.
The floor and tub have rat droppings on them. A closer investigation has found a rodent nest in the bathroom ceiling vent!!! GROSS!!! We have a rodent living in our bathroom!!! I took these pictures of our experience and I'm calling management now. I'll update this post after I speak with the management.

UPDATE SAT 9/22/18
Notified the front desk and waited for a "bell boy" to show up and tell us that "the thing in ceiling is beyond my abilities to remedy" he said he had to call his supervisor and asked us to change rooms. The bell boy directed us to another identical room at the back of the property. He said the supervisor was on his way to talk to me. He never showed up after waiting 3 hours so we decided to go to the pool where I received a text from a manager offering to comp our stay with free breakfast vouchers throughout our stay. Thank you

Always a pleasant stay. We feel spoiled by the staff. The pools are great.

The shower trick was not working properly which caused some issues draining. No clear place to get a casual meal like breakfast.

Can not wait to go back, to stay and for a massage!!! Great food as well...

Bad experience... restaurants understaffed waiting to long just to get seated with all kinds of tables open....

We have used this hotel for our Staycation spot for years. Its a great property built into the hillside and a nice pool area. The staff is great and the rooms are nice.

The thing that really bothered us was how dirty the pools were, the sunset pool was disgusting on Sunday morning at 9am so we walked to the adult pool and found it was better but still so cloudy and obviously not cleaned from the previous night, I understand the amount of people using the pools but really? The pools should be clear and sparkling by opening at 8am, especially with the amount of people using them.I feel there's no excuse for dirty pools to begin a new day at a resort.

Stayed for a staycation. Pool was a little gross. The room was great. Big suite and very nice and clean. The server at the pool was fantastic. Ordered room service and it was absolutely superb. Would def come back. Hope they clean the pool better though.

We've stayed 3 times, always a great experience. Weekends can get a little hectic; Saturday night parking can be an adventure, but the staff is very accommodating if you can;t find a space. Suites are spacious and well kept. Falls Village is a fun spot, but we'd suggest finding one of the many smaller "hidden" pools closer to your room.

I initially had miscommunication with someone at the front desk before I arrived but once I got there the staff was friendly and very professional. They made sure to check me in quickly and just a very good experience. My children and I loved the hotel. I was in the main building and that was the best choice, it included an adult pool and family pool. We enjoyed the room and view of the mountains off the balcony, when I needed something they came right away. Everything was great... I had no complaints! We will be back!

Nice resort! This place is huge, make sure to grab a map at the front desk. Also has great food on site and will come right to your room to pick you up so you dont have to walk... When back in Phoenix area, i will return!

Really cool place to take a staycation! 6 pools, one just for adults thank god. Great rooms, lots of friendly staff. Reasonable rates.

Room was nice! Parking was awful. They were hosting a conference and there was very few and often no parking spaces avail. The hilly terrain makes walking to tour room challenging. Shuttles available if you call and wait for them.

I stayed at this resort in the past with no problems at all and that is why I decided to book a room for my birthday this past weekend. When I arrived I took a shower and noticed the shower wasn t draining. The slide door to the balcony was super hard to open. My key would not unlock the pool near to the room that I upgraded to and when someone was able to open it for me The jacuzzi wasn t working I had to walk really far from my room just to get in the pool. This totally ruined my romantic birthday weekend.

Great bar section. Amazing place. Interior was beautiful. Staff were professional. Services was great. Room was beautiful with beautiful infrastructure. Great view. I enjoyed the spa.

Purchased a Groupon for a one day/nite staycation with the family. Room was great and had a pleasant stay. Only thing was AC would not go below 78 degrees no matter how low we set it so room was not as cool as we would have liked it. Specially trying to sleep during the nite. Kids complained it was a little hot and they couldn't sleep to well. Didn't call front desk due to we we're leaving the next morning.

We stayed here on a rather cold day so we weren't able to enjoy the outside amenities much. Resort was ok for the most part except the shower/bath tub didn't work

The resort has amazing views and many amazing pools. There was one mishap that was taking care if well. I recommend this place!

I golfed at lookout mountain golf club located at the resort. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The storm closed off the first hole and left debris along the course but it was still in good condition. They allowed us to replay the course do to the closure so it was a great deal.

This was a very challenging golf course in my opinion. I had a blast playing it.

It looks nice but the rooms being accessible only by walking/driving through steep hills was too much and it's really no where near any zoos/parks/attractions. Not good for kids.

Dinner was served 'without' breadrolls. Was told didn't come with meal and was not given any after request it. Lot of money in this hotel! Should at least serve rolls and butter with a meal

Beautiful facility..not very comfortable ... very comfortable rooms. Too bad for the bathroom which has a very noisy air suction unit.

The rooms were very appealing. The pool area wasn't so much so. Overall, it has it's pluses.

The room and location were very nice, there were a few things that tainted our visit, however. One thing was that or phone didn't seem to work because there weren't clear instructions given on how to contact the front desk. Second, the smoke alarms went off several times one morning because of an issue not even related to our building or a building nearby. Third, a member of the maintenance crew drove backwards all the way around our circle for at least 20 minutes with the backwards warning before going off the entire time. Maybe this wouldn't have been a big deal if it wasn't at 5:30am, and it was so loud it woke both my husband and myself up.

Great atmosphere by the pool..rooms are comfortable

May have been nice in 1989. Hilton should sell the property. Horrible value for the money, only redeeming feature was a decent breakfast. Resort fee of 35 bucks is a joke since this is basically a dated property that deserves 3 stars at the very most

The hotel is okay, I would expect more for the cost. Front desk staff are rude and don't seem overly interested with helping guests. It is confusing to find your way around the property. We ordered room service and there was something wrong with every plate, undercooked, burnt, and cold. Food at different point of view was very salty, but edible.

Did not attend the hotel, but the golf course was amazing. We played with family, and enjoyed the course. Good service, and good food at the nearby restaurant. The view is amazing, not only did the mountains look great, but the hotel did as well. Enjoyed our afternoon.

Needs a cell phone repeater for better cell service... staff was excellent and the venue was very clean.

Very friendly staff nice atmosphere & beautiful views

The resort was good. Overpriced, but that's what you get at a place like this. The real problem was that they improperly charged over $200 onto my card without my authorization and they charged a "resort fee" of $26/day that we were never made aware of. After I finally thought I'd gotten everything taken care of, they added 2 additional, improper, and unauthorized charges of almost another $100 to my card.

The manager dug in her heels stating that it was their policy, but couldn't explain the legality of charging me unduly and without my consent. She also couldn't refund the money in a reasonable amount of time.

Dealing with a headache like this on my vacation was absolutely not worth it. Do not go here.

Imposed with the rooms, ambiance etc... very impressive

very disappointing. super dated and poorly kept up resort. professional photos are clearly from a long time ago. the grounds are lackluster, vegetation throughout is mostly dead or poorly kept up. pool areas are basic and not appealing, tile missing in areas and generally not kept up. the resort is really spread out and weird to navigate through. spa was pedicure was terrible. the only thing worth even one star is that the staff were all really nice and professional.

Great location! Plenty of things to do. Room is modern and beds are very comfortable. Would stay here again.

The hotel has nice architecture and is beautifully place in the cliff side. The main pools are beautiful. I have major complaints about the restaurant Point in Thyme. The food was not good the service was not good either. Our waitress was rude and far from the elegance you expect from a resort. She may as well been working at a dive diner. As for the food, my wife ordered the frittata which was bland even after be doctored up with salsa and I had the bananas foster french toast which was topped with a few thinly sliced fresh bananas and the rest was banana chips, it was dry and didn't taste good. How can they not spluge and give me a whole banana, banana chips are cheap and taste cheap. If you plan on breakfast there I suggest bringing your own box of cereal you will be more satisfied with it. I will not be eating there ever again. We might stay again since the pool was nice but it would only be on a deal and we will bring our own food or go out. Oh and the pools are supposed to be heated but are ice cold. The adult pool is small and they allow smoking in it which is completely gross. Why should non smoker and I be forced into poisoning ourselves just to appraise people who have no regards for their own life.

We were there for the poker night for the Dry Heat Classic. Service was great!

Way too expensive for the quality of the amenities. Our room was very awkwardly designed, one of the beds partially blocking the door, presumably so it could fit an additional bed. Also, the bathroom was tiny.

We stayed here overnight to visit family and attend a high school graduation. The hotel was clean, comfortable and a very good value for the price. There is a huge water play area for families and a separate pool for adults, which is nice. Overall beautiful location and a lot of fun.

OK but in the middle of no where and a pain to get around the resort.

My husband and family have stayed at the Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort previously and the staff have been kind and courteous if there was an issue with our stay. This time was a completely different story. We had issues with everything from booking the room, to getting a filthy room. As you can see from the photos this room was unacceptable. I contacted housekeeping and they came out. The housekeeping person was kind but said they should take this couch out it is dirty and old but I don t know. . At this point after contacting the front desk twice I reached out to Hilton Honors on Twitter. I was told because we booked through a third party website they couldn t help me. Then I got another message saying that the manager will reach out to me tomorrow. The next day came I got a text message asking about the stay. I mentioned the issues and then also explained that the shower in my room wasn t even working correctly. I was asked to stop by the front desk when I return and I did. I met with what I assume is a member of management and asked me if we were ready to move. I explained we just got back to the hotel as we were gone all day so we would need to pack the room. I offered to show them multiple videos I have on my phone of their dirty room. She declined. She tried to give us a room that wasn t very accessible for me. I asked if there was any other room even an upgrade we could pay for and was told no that was our only option or we could check out because they were full . The attitude that came with that statement was beyond me. We rented two rooms close to each other for a reason. I myself am trying to recover from being paralyzed from the shoulders down and to move me to the other side away from my daughter was not okay. It also wasn t okay to feel like I m an inconvenience when I should have never been put in a filthy room in the first place. I called my husband and asked what he wanted to do and he said let s check out. So I advised her we will be checking out as soon as we pack up our belongings. She said okay and gave me a receipt. It took a second to get to my room. Again I m not going anywhere fast due to my medical condition. I was not even in my room for 5 minutes before housekeeping was knocking on the door. I open the door and they said this room is supposed to be empty they were told to clean this room the hotel is full. I said we just checked out and are gathering our belongings. (We had food in the fridge, clothes in the drawers we planned a few days stay so it s not like we were packed and ready to go, we didn t intend on leaving.). House keeping leaves their cart by the door and walks away. We go back to packing (hello disabled here can t do anything fast) and housekeeping calls and said this room is supposed to be vacant we need to clean. I said I just spoke with someone and explained we are gathering our belongings we are almost finished. We left the room right after the call. Totally not okay. This is a resort not a motel 6 and Hilton should be ashamed of the customer service we received and most importantly they should be ashamed that they are putting people in filthy rooms. Covid is real and the rooms not being cleaned is a health hazard. (Please also note the blonde hair on the radio and none of my party had light hair). I had to screenshot the videos I took because google doesn t allow you to post the video.

Well, first of all, when my boyfriend, my daughters and I went to go to the WHOLE reason we picked this resort for our staycation, their water park, "The Falls", was closed. It was closed. So we went swimming in the pool below our room. There were bees EVERYWHERE!! There were more than 10 bees we had to fish out of the pool so that my girls would swim. It was irritating. Later that night I went to put the television on in the bedroom. It took several times turning it on and off before the picture actually showed. In the morning my boyfriend called to rent a cabana. The woman on the phone told him that they would be closing early that day. At 2:30pm they would be closing for a photo shoot! Really?! Then she asked him if he still wanted to rent the cabana. We did go ahead and rent one but there were ants all over. I understand that happens but for a luxurious resort they should spray ant killer around the area or at least spray the ground in the cabana so that we don't walk into an ant convention. Now, I was already irritated that the water park area was closing early but they had several areas closed off during the hours we COULD play there! Now I was annoyed and getting mad. We were told by our waiter our cabana needed to be vacated in 15 minutes around 2:15pm. So we left. We got to our room and I wanted to take a bath but the bathtubs plug wasn't screwed on and I couldn't get it to. No relaxing bath. Ugh.
The next morning, the last few hours of our stay, I had planned to take my girls to "The Falls" but guess what? Closed AGAIN! So having chose The Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort was an epic fail. I had planned on going back to spend a couple of nights just the boyfriend and I but I'm not so sure anymore. I guess we could as long as we don't want to enjoy a water park experience. The room was pretty good but I wish I could say we had a great time.

Paul at the pool area with the waterfalls is a life saver! I left my phone in the bathroom stall, he found me and returned it! My phone is my life. I just couldn't thank him enough!
