The staff is very friendly but the service is very slow. Today was the second time I spent over 2 hours waiting for an oil change. After the first time, I made an appointment thinking that would cut down on the wait time. Clearly I was mistaken
Cooerced into buying a transmission I didnt need to fix the issue I brought it in for. Some techs and service advisors have no idea how to work on a 11 year old Honda. Question everything they suggest and get a second opinion.
Just recently paid off my 2016 Honda Pilot. Woo! David Carpenter was a huge help on assisting with the purchase.
I had a non licensed driver t-bone my Ridgeline ( that I also purchased from this location , and with David Carpenter s help) I was in desperate need of a vehicle but could not make it out.
So David sent photos , and videos explaining the features as if I was there with him,and he going over the vehicle and what it had to offer.
He called me numerous of times to make sure it was exactly what I wanted . Purchasing the vehicle only took minutes and went so smoothly.
It was even delivered to my door without me stepping foot into the dealership.

Upon arrival at my scheduled appointment, I was immediately informed that I could expect an hour wait for my oil/filter change. One and a half hours later I was informed that I had another hour before they would get to my car..They have a wonderful comfortable waiting room. They know how to make appointments..They have trouble keeping them..Sorry but my experience was not what I expected

Bombards my mailbox with worthless flyers and ads. Refuses to remove me from the mailing list despite calls to their management. I don t even live in the area anymore, yet they invade my privacy, found my new address, and continue to harass me. Wish I would have never brought my car in for service at this location.

In July 2019 my wife and I bought our 2019 C-RV Touring model SUV from Pohanka Honda Of Salisbury. Over the years, this is the 8th Honda we have purchased from Pohanka of Salisbury. We have had a Civic; an Accord; an Odyssey Van; and 5 C-RV s including the 2013 and 2019 we own now. My daughter is still driving the7 year old Honda Element that she bought there 7 years ago! Over this 20 plus year period we have had the pleasure of having Dave Carpenter as our Honda Sales Agent each time. I learned to become wary when bringing my car in for an oil change here. My car is old, a 2005 Accord. Every other time they find some expensive recommended repairs which I ve gone along with. But no more. The young man who was helping me showed me the long list recommended repairs after I d already been there over an hour. I asked him what the price would be, which took about another 45 minutes to find out. Meanwhile other people in the waiting room are coming and going, and I m still sitting there. Wasn t the first time. Plus one of the recommendations I didn t even need when I questioned him about it and he looked further into it. So now my trust, which was already wavering, is now pretty much gone in this place. I already spent $1200 on repairs there a few months ago. This last time looked like it would have been even more than that. Needless to say, I just ended up getting an oil change and tires rotated. My last trip to Pohanka. I may need a new car eventually, but probably won t get one here. Will seek out more reliable, less expensive, and hopefully less time-consuming service providers in the future.

a few years ago I went to Pohanka Honda of Salisbury and purchased a new Honda Odyssey Minivan. The salesman was awesome, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the entire building was clean and organized. I had no issues which is why it made sense to go back when I decided to trade in the minivan. this past weekend (7/29/17) I went back and had the best experience yet again. My salesman Caleb Moore was fantastic at finding me just what I was looking for and getting me a great deal! I walked away with a brand new 2017 Honda CR-V Touring and I absolutely LOVE IT! on top of the fabulous service over the weekend, I ran into a minor issue on Monday. My tire pressure warning light came on. I was no where near Salisbury so I sent Caleb a text checking to see if I could pull into another Honda dealership. I pulled into Hertrich Honda of Easton.. no one from service was in the building. the GM checked my tire pressure on all four tires and told me it was fine but to call for an appointment to have my tires diagnosed. I left the dealership feeling unsure of this but figured I would call Pohanka first thing the next morning. A few minutes later Caleb called my cell phone and asked how I was doing. I explained what had happened. He told me he needed to use FaceTime and asked if I could pull over. I pulled off to the shoulder, he called me on FaceTime, he diagnosed and fixed the issue within the computer settings right there on the side of the road!! If you are looking for a great car buying experience with a no hassle no haggle 500% customer service driven salesman, then Pohanka Honda of Salisbury is the dealership and Caleb Moore is the salesman! I will never buy a car from anywhere else!

My wife of newborn twins purchased a 2017 minivan less than a year ago from Pohanka Honda. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Do yourself a favor and drive an extra 15 mins to go to a reputable dealer. We have had nothing but problems ever since. They tried swindling both her and myself. (Too bad I worked as a mechanic before obtaining my bachlor's degree in business).
We brought it in 3 times and were told it was the plugs and coil packs. (it was not). Just to prove this, I brought the car to another dealer(so I could have legal documentation) to replace all the plugs and coil packs after the first "diagnosis". Then, when it was still throwing a code, I brought it back in. They told me again it was the plugs and coil packs for cylinder 4. LIE - I knew for a fact it was no compression in cylinder 4 - bad engine. They said we would have to have them do the repair on the plugs and coil packs and spend over $1000, I told them this was not the problem and they needed to honor the warranty and replace the engine. They told me my warranty from Dodge expired at 36k miles. Another lie. They told me that if I paid to have the repair done, they would see what they could do.
So I took it back and called some friends in Legal. They told me to bring it in a 3rd and see If they would make it right, or see if they would lie again. Well it looks like I have my case! They told me again it was only the plug and Coil pack. I asked them if they switched the plug and coil onto another cylinder, and see if the code changed to be sure. They said they did. THEY DID NOT. I told them they were lying because cylinder 4 had no compression. They said "we will call you back". Let the waiting game begin.....
After a month of waiting for my wife's van to be fixed, Guess what? Turns out I need a new Engine, and it has 61k miles on it.... Just out of manufactures warranty now. I was supposed to hear back from their service manager 2 days ago to see if they would indeed resolve this..... still nothing.
I will keep this issue updated.
I went with a friend to purchase her car and I loved the service she rec'd while at Pohanka Honda. The sales staff was very helpful and answered her questions and mine and I was not even there to purchase a car. But I will be back to see JR Adkins next month. I am excited for my best friend and my future purchase. Thanks again JR.
Service center is horrible. Went in for tire rotation and alignment because I felt vibration. After paying premium vibration was still there. Then 3 days later tires started losing air. Went to a community tire shop was informed my tires were coming apart! Had to get 4 new tires because they could have blown at any time. Said dealership was blind if they did not see this. Vibration is gone. Pohanka jeopardized my family's life forget about the $300 I spent for nothing. Would never go back for even a car wash. If you treasure your families safety never get your vehicle serviced here.

Front desk staff was great. Oil change has taken two hours so far. Service forgot to put on front license plate. Desk clerk had to drive the car back into the garage. It has been in there about 20 minutes. Just attach the front license plate already. Should have just done it myself. I was here early this morning. Second person in line. Why do simple things take so long?

Been a customer of Pohanka in Salisbury for years, I recently returned to Jeff Dale, my salesman, to talk about new car options. Jeff is knowledgeable of the Honda product and a fan of the Accord Sport. He took plenty of time to review the car's many features and answer any questions. I was convinced and after some "negotiations" I left driving a new car.
I find it very hard to figure out where to start with this review. This dealership is AMAZING. Let's start there. Everyone was so incredible to me. Buying a car can be difficult and stressful (or so I hear!), but not at this dealership. Even during this pandemic, as soon as you walk in you get a good vibe from everyone that works there. They were very welcoming when I arrived and it stayed that way until I left. I knew the car salesman Joel, which was my reason for exploring the car dealership avenue in the first place because I know hes trustworthy and honest. I went in knowing he wouldn't let me be misdirected or misinformed when it came to buying a car. However, I never expected his team to go to great lengths to achieve the financial goals that I had set in my mind. Bryan Perdue and Claudia went above and beyond any expectation that I had in getting me into an incredible vehicle (2017 Honda Accord Sport) at an incredible rate. I could not be more grateful for them! They are an amazing team that TRULY cares about people, and not just a sale. I will definitely be recommending them to everyone I know. My husband and I went to Honda today with the intention of just looking and getting ideas for what we wanted in a car. As soon as we walked in Caleb Moore greeted us with a smile and wonderful attitude. He showed us multiple models of the Pilot which is what we went to look at and let us test drive the ones we wanted. As I drove with him he asked questions about what I would like in a car and knew the I did not want a mini van..... as the day progressed and he got to know our family he kindly suggested we take a look at the Odyssey but did it with no pressure. He took the time to show us every feature the van had from front to end, test drove it and priced it without complaint. In the end.... we bought a mini van and I couldn't be happier. Caleb was polite, personable and we never once felt pressured to buy which is rare! We were over 400 miles from home when we started experiencing car troubles. We called Pohanka Honda; which was within miles from where we were on the highway (thankfully!), and the individual who answered the phone told us to bring the car right in. Let me just preface this...it was Friday of a Holiday weekend (July 4th) at roughly 9:45 am. Upon arrival Faith greeted us immediately and I told her what was happening with the car. She made it a point to let me know that it could take an hour or so before they could look at the car due to it being such a busy day (which I appreciated). She guided us to the waiting area, where there were free beverages, free wi-fi and plenty of space - let me not fail to mention that it was a comfortable temperature inside being that outside it was already 85 degrees at 9:45am. Faith continued to keep us up-to-breath on what was happening. I was concerned that the problem was going to be something severe; yet ended up being much better than I expected - and the price was reasonable based on the work completed. We ended up being at the dealership for a total of 4 hours yet the time seemed to go by quick. They offered us a loaner vehicle so we could go get lunch, but made us aware that they also offered free shuttle service within a 10 mile radius. Upon our departure I made it a point to let Faith know how great their customer service is; and how truly seamless the experience was considering that we broke down so far from home. We were back on the road and on our way home. Thank you Faith for everything, and thank you Pohanka Honda for recognizing what customer service should be!
Oh David. I bought my first new car here a few months ago. I kind of always thought all car salesmen were the same and that you'd pretty much never need to see anyone at the dealership after you bought the car. WRONG! You need to maintain some kind of relationship with the person who sold you the car so you can get tags and other important stuff. My guy was slimey but I didn't care until I realized later on that not only had he misled me on some of the car's features but he was bad at doing the important stuff that comes after you buy the car. Even getting the tags was a disaster. They were so incompetent that almost every step had to be constantly verified by me and they were super irritated that I was so concerned. I had to be though because they really do suck at their jobs. Anyways, please learn from my experience and understand that if you're a first time buyer, it's important to make sure that your salesman is competent and not too slimey.

I stopped here like 3 months ago for just fix timming belt . they burned the engine of my car And they don't do anything, after i stopped 7 times and yesterday on the road stopped engine car is dont working . I trying to call today and no answeer . I think they are trouble !

Absolute worst experience I ve ever had at a mechanic/dealership. My car broke down right before Christmas. First time ever breaking down. It s a 2012 Honda Civic. Very reliable car. I m new to the Salisbury area so I was trying to figure out somewhere that would be qualified and get me back on the road in time for Christmas, so I thought why not just take my car to the Honda dealership, since I have a Honda. Got my car towed there. Wait time was long, but I didn t mind because it was Christmas Eve. The girl working there calls my name and asks to speak with me. She informs me I hate to give you bad news but you re gonna need a new engine... it s going to cost you $3,024 . I was in absolute disbelief. I knew there could be no way that was true. I firmly believed that it was just the water pump. The girl even admitted we would just hate to see you spend the money on a new water pump and that not fix the issue, when if you replace the engine it will come with a new water pump... Yeah except there is a $2,600 price difference and you re not even sure that I need it. Of course you would hate to see me not spend 3 grand on a new engine. They told me that I could do payment plans through a company they re affiliated with or they could have a member of the sales team come out and value my car and I could use it as a trade it in towards another vehicle. HELL NO. So you can give me some lowball offer and put me on payments when I literally just paid of my car? I asked to speak with the mechanic who looked my vehicle. This sealed the deal for me, when the mechanic couldn t give me a real answer and simply said that smoke came out of my engine and that s a sign of engine failure. THE ENGINE WASN T EVEN SMOKING WHEN I BROKE DOWN!! There was only a small amount of steam coming from the coolant that was leaking. And check this out, he didn t even take my car into the shop like he was supposed to. I paid $80 for him to look at it in the parking lot. I knew I had to get my car out of there. So after Christmas I had it towed to a different mechanic that someone referred to me. He checked out my car (actually checked it out) and voila what do you know, it was just the water pump and belt! Zero signs of damage done to the engine. Cost me $414 and had it fixed perfectly. It s been running like a dream since I got it back. They seriously were trying to rob me. And if they weren t, then that mechanic (I believe his name was Joe) needs to lose his job for coming to that ridiculous conclusion, and depriving me of the service that I paid for. I was told by the service manager of Pohanka Honda of Salisbury that he trusts his mechanics determination that my car did in fact need a new engine, but that I would be receiving a refund for the $80 anyway. Guess what... It s January 9th, still haven t received that $80 back!! I don t care at this point. Just wanted to take the time to hopefully deter someone else from making the mistake of taking their car here like I did.

First time car purchaser - Just bought a new 2015 Honda Accord EX-L. Our salesman Taylor was phenomenal. He has been so patient from the moment we stepped on the lot, test drove a few vehicles the first day. Returned a few days later, test drove two more vehicles. He was incredibly flexible when we kept changing our minds on which vehicle(s) we wished to purchase, the trim model, financing options, and all other questions. He even respected our target price on the vehicle and did not force us into an unnecessary haggle process and draw out the inevitable. We got a great deal on the vehicle! Agree with the numerous excellent reviews; great place to buy a vehicle. After reading and hearing all sorts of horror stories on-line about sleazy car salesman, this dealership does it right.

I have purchased other cars in the past from sales people that works in Pohanka, but I have always bonded with Dave the most. Not only is he an awesome salesman, but I consider him a friend as well. Brought car in this morning for recall fix. My husband left to pick me up at the doctor. No battery. AAA said to go back to Honda. Time elapsed, 1hr. We have now been sitting here for 2 hours and being given no consideration for our time. We have to go up and ask, still working? I have never felt so demeaned. This is my husband, Roberts, car. I will never buy another Honda. I'm very happy for my Lexus and the service they provide. I will make sure to pass this on. There is no excuse for this and the treatment we are being given.

Can't seem to get the service department to fix a vibration problem in our Honda CRV
Took my 2006 Toyota Solara in to have the headlights polished. They were very cloudy and needed to be replaced or repaired. Pohanka offers a service where they sand and coat the headlights and give them a 2 year guarantee. The headlights look great - almost like brand new. Took less than 2 hours and I didn't have to make an appointment. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Cost was under $100, and they also did a compimentary car wash . Overall, a great experience!
This Honda dealership is probably one of the worst when it comes to customer service. Both, the sales department as well as the service department are uniformly rude & unhelpful.
I love Honda but realize that I'll have to come to this dealership to get my car serviced & for that reason alone I'm toying with the idea of buying another brand!

Came to Pohanka today on the recommendation of my daughter to look into possibly purchasing a vehicle. Worked with salesman Frenchy and had an amazing experience. Frenchy explained everything to my understanding and worked had to put me in a vehicle specific to my needs and wants while making sure I stayed within my budget. He wasn t the typical pushy salesman. I was definitely undecided as to whether I actually was going to go through with purchase today but working with Frenchy made making my decision very easy.
Terrible experience. I waited over three hours for the so called technician to fix my air conditioning and ignition starter. This guy clearly didn t have a clue what he was doing because all he did was make the a/c slightly colder and told me there was nothing wrong with the ignition. Well here I am broken down waiting for AAA because my engine won t turn over. Never again will I trust Pohanka with any of my auto tech needs. Completely disappointed, I guess they are only interested in making money.
Poor customer service, the gentleman named Chris is very rude and doesn t know his job very much, I personally think he needs to get a new job where he s by himself and not around people.
