The price for the other work was too high too but when they figured i was going somewhere else the offered a discount. Dont offer a price and then discount it! just give me the price. they think the discount will make me use them but it just pisses me off that they can quote a REAL price from the beginning.
Do not trust Pohanka!! they are so desperate for work they hike up the price of everything.
Do NOT go to unless you re looking for lacking customer service and unreliable technicians. I ve been going there for years and everything was great until the most recent time. They did not replace the push pins that connect the front plastic cover over top of the heat shield. Instead the technician simply thought tucking the shield over the plastic piece was a smart idea. This resulted in me going over a bump in the road and the heat shield ripping off completely while driving. I ve called time and time again explaining my situation and the service manager did it seem interested to help at all. They would not even offer the original push pins for free due to the lousy technician s work. If you ever have a problem here good luck getting anything resolved from this joke of a dealership.
This review is only for the service counter at Pohanka Honda: Although I had an appointment, it's nice to know that no appointment is necessary at Honda of Salisbury. They also have an express lane at the service entrance, for quick in and out. Large waiting room area with coffee, sodas, and a few snacks, along with newspapers and computers you can use while you wait. Helpful friendly service people that want to do a good job, and get you in and out as fast as possible. Thanks Honda!

Great selection of new cars however I walked the entire parking lot and entered the showroom for approximately 15 minutes and no one would come and help me out. I suppose they didn't need another customer.... although there were plenty of salesman just standing around talking to each other. The pictures of the vehicles that I took are getting thousands of views maybe I should just take them down because I'm helping them out more than they helped me out.

Have bought multiple vehicles from David Carpenter and it is has always been an awesome experience. Being active duty military it is hard to get back home sometimes David sent us videos and information regarding our newest vehicle and handled everything over the phone and had it delivered.

Was visiting the area from FL & took my 2014 CRV in for an oil change. They tried to tell me I needed new windshield wipers, some kind of filter & a few other things that put my bill over $100. I had to keep insisting I only wanted an oil change. Fortunately I had a 40+ point check up on my vehicle before I left FL so I knew everything else was fine. I did not appreciate the pressure and hope they don't do that to all senior citizens.
We recently bought two cars from Pohanka Honda in salisbury because one was falling apart and the other was totaled in an accident. I don t have a lot of faith in car salesman and was timid with the whole process. But when we met Jeff Dale he eased my concerns. He worked with my wife and I for over 6 hours to help us get the deal we felt comfortable with. He went above and beyond to help our family. My experience started in a panic when my old car wouldn't start and I went online for pre-approval. Ryan Kelly got back to me within minutes and after he let me vent, he assured me they had several options. I went to Pohanka Honda yesterday looking for a used car due to my limited credit history. I was greeted by Frenchy at the door. I have extreme anxiety but he made me feel comfortable immediately. All the staff were professional and friendly. All the horror stories I've heard about dealerships, I experienced none. This was something that I had to do for myself and when they suggested a cosigner, I refused. I told him that was why i was looking for used. They found a way to make it happen for me. I waited a little while, but good things come to those who wait. Was given the usual we can see what we can do. Which resulted in me being handed over to a told that basically tried to belittle me. The guy really tried to make me feel like I "a working citizen" was unable to make my own decisions and afford anything. Like I wasnt there to buy I car, and he knew it. Yet he still kept acting like I was buying....i just came to test drive two vehicles. Not sit in a passenger seat and then back in the off a literal minute later. He literally told me to go across the street to Nissan. After the fact of acting like I did not tell him they approved me for a more reasonable down payment on a brand new car months prior. YES not used but BRAND NEW.... Never again.

This is the worse dealer i have ever dealt with the salesman Joel English was full of misinformation from the start. They added the car to Autotrader at 12500 then proceed to increase the price to 15373. I was working with them for a week i had pre-approval from Capital One and that wasn't good enough i can only assume because it wasn't a finance institute they couldn't make more money off of me. They kept tell me they need a cashiers check because i was an out of town buyer and they were worried about the car. They also tried to sell the car out under me but that deal fell through. And the the wonderful sales crook telling me the whole time there are so many people wanting this car you better act quick. I told him i did and you have everything you need to complete the deal. At the end i walked away from the car because i felt like i was dealing with a shady dealer and salesman. So now they have increased the price up once again more than a thousand dollars. I wouldn't recommend this dealer or salesmen to my worse enemy.

Totally frustrated with the bush high pressure sales tactics, and mad at myself for falling for it. I certainly understand there were some me misunderstandings and I didn't do my job as a knowledgeable buyer. Nonetheless, there are some procedural steps that were left out of the process resulting in my salesman and I not being on the same page! That never ends well. Is anyone looking for a nice 2014 Civic sedan? Ping me!

We Bought a used GMC Yukon Denali, in Oct. When we test drove it all the Floor mats were in the vehicle, including the rear cargo mat and cargo shade cover, when we picked it up ALL of them were missing and so we're the headphones and remotes for the rear DVD player. The salesman even pointed out the remote/ phones to us during the test drive. Once we noticed items missing the next day contacted the salesman, he tells me "Oh you know the guys in the back how they do things". Funny 2 days later the remotes /phone's show up, but not other items. Then when we went to purchase the vehicle we noticed a lower price by $1000.00 on a web site called "Car Gurus" when shown the online price our salesman he said don't know anything about it. Then Management decided in order for us to get the lower price we had to take the vehicle "AS IS". So it went from being a Honda Certified Used truck to as is. we had already sold our old truck. And we liked the New one so we did it. But not impressed with the tactics used. Also took 60 days to get tags done. Went there to repurchase a Honda key for my son's car excellent service very nice waiting area
Charged for an "exploration fee" twice. First time, they fixed a fan motor, and then there was a broken fuse. They charged a lot for that fuse and they shouldn't charge a second exploration fee if their first "exploration" for the fan motor didnt uncover the fuse problem. Several months passed between the first and second service, so they told me it might not have been thier fault. I think the 2nd $70 exploration was petty, considering the fact that I had already paid them about $400.
Great experience with Jeff Dale in sales. A+ for service. I spoke with him on Monday and told him what vehicle and price I was looking for and by Tuesday afternoon I was driving away in the exact vehicle I wanted.
