This is the best kept secret of community resources. Only 6 companies in the US control 98% of all news media. Arlington Independent Media and their TV and Radio stations are just that, independent. Community owned. Community generated. They also have amazing classes to learn about just about anything in the media world! And hey if you want to be on the radio, they can help you do that. They run completely on donations and memberships. So please think about joining or contributing.

AIM-WERA is a vital educational Independent broadcast media non profit that has risen to create opportunity in both visual and audio media for anyone interested in raising their voice. As volunteer collectives go for creatives it is among the best in the region and worthy of greater support and participation.

At Arlington Independent Media (AIM) Patrick was the person you could count on to solve all kinds of issues. He knew about every aspect of the production process. He was very helpful when I produced my Spanish-language interview show Salud Latina as well as when I produced Know Your Local Leaders. Patrick has always been dedicated, dependable, principled.

Rating based on experience of spending a few hundred dollars on a couple of classes here. Teachers often wouldn't show up, and students followed suit. No course materials, no online reach.
