This is the third car I've gotten from Honda of Salisbury. My first two were leases but due to having a longer commute now, I had to make the decision to buy my leased car or go with another option. Reese was amazing and presented me with all options with no haggle. I made my expectations very clear, he really worked with what was possible for me made it happen! I turned in my lease and drove off with a new car! He even put a nice big bow on it when I came in to sign the paperwork. Brittney in the finance department was also fantastic and kept working different angles to get me the best deal and what was best for me financially. I highly recommend them!

I purchased a brand new 2016 CRV from Walter in January, shortly after while loading groceries I noticed that he inside part of my right tail light had a significant scratch that I had not noticed before. I called the dealer and they told me they would look at it when I brought it in for service. I made an appointment when it was time for the first oil change and reminded them that they needed to check that tail light. When I went to pick it up from the way over priced oil change (go to Heritage Honda) they had not even looked at the tail light and told me they didn't see anything, I had to point it out to them! and they said oh yeah it's there. They took pictures and two weeks later called me back to say that Honda wouldn't replace it and they wouldn't replace it either. Was transferred to the sales manager, Jared who told me it could've been me and they weren't going to do anything about it. If it was a used vehicle I would understand the scratch, but this was a brand new vehicle. Completely Unacceptable! WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN!

Update- About a week and a half after I posted my original review, I received a call from Pohanka telling me they wanted to make me happy and replaced the damaged tail light at no cost to me.

Wait is entirely way to long for an oil change. Especially during the week.

I came in pohanka , Emmanuel frenchy simplice the king of car took his time with me . From beginning to end he helped me find a car that best fit me . My experience was amazing . Now I m walking out with a 2017 brand new Honda !

I highly recommend Walter D. if you go to Pohanka Honda to buy a vehicle. He spent two different visits taking his time to explain everything he could to me. I really liked him and felt very comfortable that he was completely honest. I hope you ask for him when you go to look for a vehicle there.

I bought my fist new car from here not too long ago and I m so glad I did. I already knew I wanted a Fit, and this Honda facility had the lowest price. When I called this location on the phone everyone was so nice and accommodating. The staff seemed very caring toward their coustomers,and very knowledgeable about all their cars.
Also I want to mention I live in Maryland and didn t want to drive my new car home, luckily this facility has drivers who bring their cars to you. I received the car on the date it was schedule to arrive with no issues, and signed the papers. So convient, and again everyone was super helpful. So I wanted to say thank you Pohanka Honda, for making my first purchase as a new owner, easy and less stressful. I will definitely return in the future.

David Carpenter was great to work with! I was living in North Carolina and he was so helpful to find the exact Pilot I wanted. He was easy to work with and kept me informed the entire way. I would highly recommend working with David to buy your next car.

Can t say enough good things about my experience here recently. Faith and her team were nothing but helpful and kind, and they did everything they could to ensure that my A/C was fixed in a timely fashion (I was in a bit of a time crunch). Awesome service, great communication and a job well done!

We purchased a new 2018 CRV. Very impressed with Trevin Allen, our salesperson. Trevin was very helpful, explaining the different trim levels, makeing sure to find what we were looking for. We are senior cizitians, and have bought more than a few cars, and appreciated his friendly, informative, approach, without being pushy.

Good service. No appointment needed. Always tries to sell up. I believe when things are necessarily needed.

My issue is not with sales. Of course they re going to go hard and put you in a vehicle, it s their job! Everyone is nice until they get your money. My experience AFTER used car purchase has been a nightmare, startup issues arrived around 2-3 months after having the vehicle in my possession. SEVERAL jumpstarts, new battery, $$$ diagnostics test and finally a tow to a different reputable service center. The ONLY issue found that would prevent my car from starting was with a device installed by the dealer (Pohanka) that was MALFUNCTIONING. Trying to get them to replace/ repair the issue has been a 3 day nightmare! According to Bryan Perdue, used sales manager, the device rarely has issues ..sure it s another problem . They are under contract to repair/replace/maintain this device as no other reputable service center will! Yesterday the used car manager Bryan Perdue (after SEVERAL phone calls and visits to Pohanka and getting the run around from him and finance company going back and forth with each other) sent out a mechanic to replace said device,only to be told by the mechanic that he DID NOT replace but repaired the device and also that the vehicle had no issues that would prevent start up,that it WAS THE DEVICE not working properly. Not 24 hrs later I m back to square one with a car that will not start. The issue was not resolved as the problem was obviously not fixed (at least not permanently). They tried to put a bandaid on a problem that obviously needs more time/skill to fix. The Initial job with the wiring and installation of the device was flawed and they do not want to take responsibility for what one of their mechanics has done.

My daughter bought her first car from Pohanka Honda of Salisbury and thanks to Taylor Bounds our experience was wonderful! He was very helpful and made sure we were well taken care of! I will definitely be returning there for any future services!!

I have purchased several vehicles from Pohanka Honda and always experienced good service. Caleb Moore sold me two of those vehicles and he went out of his way to make sure I got what I wanted, stayed in touch with me every step of the way, and delivered exactly what I was looking for.

Brought my car in for routine maintenance. They claimed my tpms system was making my tire leak (installed by them) so they had to replace it. While replacing it they stated the wiring to the censor broke, and while admitting it broke while their technician was replacing it are trying to charge me 700 dollars to repair + the original charge to fix the tpms. This is the 4th straight oil change that they've found/created some other issues that has exceeded hundreds of dollars. Will never return, and certainly not going to buy my new civic from here.

Took 3 hours to put in a simple part in my car and I discovered a new crack in my windshield in my new car. I will not be returning. The people were decent, but the service was shockingly appalling. As busy as it was, I would have expected much better. I would give 0/5 stars if I could. So disappointed.

Bought 2 cars from them one brand new one used. Been getting service done from them too every time for past 12 years Had issues with service department 3 times. always when getting oil change. Long story short when I can get a oil change for 29.99 from others I m paying 42+ $. To Honda dealers cuz in my mind dealers charge more but in my head it s Peace of mind that my car is in good hands but wasn t the case the people who did oil changes 3 different times never did visual check list which is included in oil change. Cuz I found out there was oil leak right next day. They agreed that yes the mechanic should have performed the visual check list that we pay for included in oil change. Which was when I looked at the receipt it was never done. Offered my next free oil change. I refused I m not a freebie my wife takes car with my kids and cuz off ur fault she gets stranded somewhere with my kids I ll go crazy just make sure u do ur job right. Please. To all people getting ur car service from here I advise. After my 3 bad experience I can still say I m still getting my cars done here they did look in to the matter. Not their fault it s the people performing the work in the shop. Bought my new Honda 2 weeks ago not from this location and will be getting it service here hopefully they keep up with there promise and good service. Cuz one more time I will move on to other. Hopefully I ll give all five stars next time. Thx

I went yesterday for fix my tire they charge me 30 just for watching the tire the didn't fix it I think its expensive if you go there.

Jared Stanley is the best car salesman I've interacted with. I'm a very methodical and cautious customer, but Jared was patient, conscientious, and helpful throughout the entire process. Recently just purchased another Honda from David Carpenter. Man this guy is one heck of sale person. Everything I asked for, he got it for me, I mean EVERYTHING!!! 4 tires....BANG, 4 tires... Steering wheel..... BAM, steering wheel.... but wait, there s more. I love this man!

Do not waste your time and money and shop at huelrich not any of the Pohanka stores,they will Rob you especially the general manager and the manager in Honda. If your reading this do not step foot in any of those dealers on that strip you'll thank me later!!!

Usually a good place to go. Did not have a pleasant experience this time. Had a fresh paint job and ask them not to wash my car and they did anyway. Representative did not listen when I told him I was there for an oil change and tires. He said he'd talk to the shop and see if they'll recommend me for tires after I told him what issues I was having. They said a new censor for my tires was recommended along with tires. He gave me a quote and even after I told him which ones I want, he still tried to down sell me. Halfway home my TPMS light comes on. Been a while since I've worked on vehicles but I'm pretty sure your supposed to inspect the vehicle before the customer pays. Bottom line, they should listen to their customers and double check their work for quality. Now I have to figure out how I'm going to find time to make it back there.

May have a good sales team, but I have a friend (older woman) and every time they bring the car in for a small service, example an alignmentioned, something new in the car breaks. I can understand one time, but this happens several times , and you start to wonder.... I know the mechanics make a percentage of the services they perform.... Where's the integrity here guys?

My man Caleb Moore is with the business! And when i say business i mean getting you into the ride of your dreams business. I have had some not so pleasurable car buying experiences. My experience with Caleb was not at all like that. He listened to all my needs and put me in exactly what i wanted. He was able to even work it out to where i didn't have to use all the money i had saved for a down payment so i could get me one of those bass tubes and some sweet hub caps for my new fit! Oh and not to mention he is quite the hunk. If your over at Pohanka I would definitely recommend getting Caleb to service you ;)

The staff in the express service section is awesome! I thought that they were opened to 6 but they are open to 5, so I felt so bad and told them they didn t have to service my car for the normal service if they could just look at my tire. They said it wasn t a problem and could definitely be fit in! I was so grateful because I live 30 min away

Worst experience ever will not be returning!!! Annoying kids at the cashier station talking inappropriately and loud and rude staff!! White woman who helped me, very disinterested in her job- must hate her life. No car wash even though I asked for it since my coupon covered it. No vacuum. NEVER RETURNING

I like this place. There are really nice staff members and take the time to listen to what you want. They are always eager to give you the best experience here at Honda. I love coming here just to look at the cars. Keep it up, Honda!

Benito got me a carfax report for my 1995 Chevy Tahoe. Paper floor mats and drink and crackers. For FREE. Overall very good when you come to Honda ask for Benito Lake Jr. He will set you up with a car in no time.

I don t know where to start! I have been a Pohanka Honda customer for several years and I have purchased 9 yep 9 Honda s and have never been treated better by any other car dealership ever. From the owner Sandy all the way down the the car porter... not sure what her name is but she could be a model! However our salesman David Carpenter is the MAN! He has sold us all nine Honda s. He is very knowledgeable of the features on Honda s and bends over backward for us , even comes in on his day off just to make sure we are taken care of. He is more than a salesman to us he is a friend ! The whole company has a customer first focus. I can t speak on the other dealerships they own but I would suspect with Sandy running the show everyone would get the same treatment as I get at Honda !

Since I have purchased my Honda and have used their service department, I have had the best service. Although the wait time is horrible, the customer service received was exceptionally well. I enjoy the free Wi-Fi and snacks and tv too.

Pohanka Honda in Salisbury is incredible! This Saturday was a tough day for my babies and me, to say the least.

We were so excited to travel to my husband who is working five hours away! So, when my warning lights started flashing in my Odyssey, I prayed it would not be a roadblock for us!

Unfortunately, my amazing van died half way through our trip just .9 miles away from Pohanka Honda! I called the dealership and Tiffany helped me by sending her teammate Caleb, to pick us up at a gas station! Caleb turned into an angel for me and our four babies! He brought us safely to the dealership and made sure the kids had snacks. He EVEN went back to my van and jumped it, then brought it in for service to check it out all minutes before service was closing.

The team was amazing!! Thank you Caleb! I can t wait for my new car!!!

I went for an oil change without an appointment on a Friday morning. They took me right in, recommended the 70K services, and I was out in 1.5 hours. Comfortable waiting area, free snacks, WiFi, and terminals, and I wasn't pounced on by sales people when I walked through the showroom and around the lot.

I will NEVER buy a car from this dealership ever again!! So disappointed that when i received a phone call asking how my experience has been with my car, they hung up on me because I was giving the bad experience I was having with my vehicle. Terrible customer service and no attempts to fix the issues. This is following being quoted a time for my car just to be looked at (not fixed) to diagnose an issue and it taking six hours in the shop.

Took my car in for an oil change and new key fob. It took 1hr and 45 min which wasn't the end of the world. However, according to their multi-point inspection, I was in need of tires. Obviously, the mechanic didn't bother to check the tires. They are brand new. Bought and installed 4 new tires yesterday. The tires on the car had less than 10 miles on them. Last year, I took my car in for a service and was told that my interior air filter needed to be replaced. It too, had just been replaced. I'm not sure if they are trying to rip me off, or if their mechanics don't bother to actually do the work. Either way, I'm moving from Pohanka and their shenanigans.
