My husband purchased his Pick Up from Plaza Ford last year. Our salesman, John Staab was AMAZING then and as a result, after someone hit my car and totaled it, we went back to Plaza Ford seeking a vehicle that was not only my choice but was financed with all of the Ford perks incorporated into my payments. John Staab feels like a family member in that his persona isn't pushy and he actually listens to the customer. He didn't try to steer me towards any particular vehicle. Initially I was going to finance via my credit union, but I decided to go with the Ford financing to take advantage of all of the coupons and deals they offered. The Finance part of my purchase was smooth and easy and very pleasant.
Our young son is just starting to work and save and will one day be ready to purchase a vehicle and we will be bringing him to Plaza and leaving him in John Staab's hands. It was a pleasure being on the customer end of purchasing my car at Plaza. To be honest, we did visit Davidson Ford and Al Packard Ford, but I felt more comfortable with the manner in which Plaza and John Staab allowed us to make our own decision based upon our budget and what we wanted. I also LOVE the bumper to bumper coverage, GAP insurance and maintenance packages attached to my vehicle. So, if you are in need of a new or used vehicle, GO TO PLAZA FORD....ask for JOHN STAAB...leave HAPPY!

I am very disappointed. I always like Plaza Ford until this experience. I dropped off my car Thursday night for a transmission issue and was told I would be contacted Saturday for updates and no one called. I waited Monday for a call and there was no response. I then called Plaza and they assured me they would call Tuesday. Still no response. I again called for an update and they told me they would run more tests and CALL me. So I waited and called them. No one would answer my call or the call would disconnect. I understand things are busy and that my car would have to wait. However, I deserve to be notified and updated to see how long it's going to take and if I would need a rental car in the meantime. If I have to pay for it I feel I need to have good service and communication.

Richard Fallano and John M. Johnson provided amazing service and went above and beyond on my last visit to the Ford Service Department. My check engine light came on as I was driving to work, so I take it in that evening. The gentleman (I think it was Rich) says they are very booked up but says he can fit me in in the morning. He provided me with a night drop envelope and explained all the details. So I find out that rodents had chewed up my engine wiring harness in multiple spots. Rich says he can repair the trouble spots or replace the entire harness, and it would be better to just replace it. So I decide to get it replaced. He has my car done a day early then expected which was a nice surprise. The car drives great! But the light comes back on. Rich says bring it back in the next day. I was at work so my parents bring it in for me. It ends up being a faulty oxygen sensor. Rich offers to not only replace it for no charge due to the money built up in my Ford Service account, but also says he will wave the labor charge due to the inconvenience. I thought that was very nice of him! I got the car back and I don t know what John did but the performance feels like it is brand new! Thank you so much Rich and John!

My service was outstanding. The work I needed to have done was very expensive, roughly 2K. Rick did everything he could to encourage the parts manager to give me a discount, and he did. Work was to be completed in 2-3 days because they had to order the parts. They kept it overnight and I received a call at 10:30 in the morning that my car was ready and everything was fixed. The mechanic, Mick worked tirelessly to get the job done. Then the cashier assisted me with financing for 12 mos. same as cash, 5% back rewards program, (next oil change will be free) and even is sending a $25. gift card. All were kind and considerate people. Yes, dealer prices are high but they don't quit until the problem is resolved. They have a lifetime customer now. Kudos to owner, Tom Walls for hiring some exceptional people.

Drop a truck off on the fly Monday am. called Wednesday to see what's up .. oh cant get to it.. really,, I bet the owner didn't start building this business this way.

I recently needed some work done on my Lincoln MKX. I easily scheduled an appointment via the website and Rick called to confirm. Upon arrival, he assisted me quickly and had the shuttle driver take me home. Rick continually communicated with me every step of the way. My vehicle was completed ahead of schedule -- which is always a good thing. I will continue to go to Plaza Ford for all of my service needs.

Having recently moved to the area from out of state I found myself needing a new car. I went to Plaza Ford. Mario Marino was my sales person however he acted more like a friend. We took a test ride and he used the time to show me around. Everyone at the dealership was extremely nice and helpful. I purchased a 2012 Ford Taurus Limited and this was the best car purchase experience I have ever had.

If this review was just of the body shop, I'd give 5 full stars! Most of my interactions have been with Erica and she's always absolutely wonderful. Her dedication is abundantly apparent and she's just an overall sweetheart. While my experiences with service have been mixed, the body shop is exceptional. Highest recommendations!

Very accommodating, friendly and no pressure. My salesperson, Nate, was informative about the vehicle and very personable. He followed up with an email sending me a tutorial video on my vehicle and phone call making sure I was satisfied with everything. The transaction and loan papers were explained thoroughly and the whole process was taken care of within the hour. I will highly recommend Plaza Ford to friends in the future.

Everyone from sales to management to other staff were so nice, polite, professional and friendly. They made me feel like it is homecoming and I m among friends and family. My sales person was very kind, patient and knowledgeable , it will be hard to go to any other dealership for my future needs for a new vehicle. Even the parts and service personnel were very helpful.

Horrible, the service manager argued with me about a recall. I have a new recall now, and they want the car all day, but won't give me a loaner for a 1/2 hour computer upload. Ridiculous! Every time I go there or even call, it is an issue. I will never go there again!

I was greeted right away by an available service manager, who gave me all the information I needed about when my car could be looked at etc. Got several phone calls later in the day with the estimate and work needed, as well as recommendations for other services my car may need. Overall very pleased with the experience, pricing and work done. Will always take my car to plaza ford when I can.

My wife and I came in the evening of the 24th of October to look at a used 2016 Ford Explorer. Our salesman was Dan Cohen. Outstanding man! Vehicle was out front waiting our arrival. Met Dan and a quick copy of our license later, we were on our test drive. To be honest, I had NO intention of leaving the dealership that night with the Explorer. I like time at home to sort out the bull fed to us by the salesman and to decompress from the pressure tatic's used. None of that happened here. The ABSOLUTE best car buying experience EVER!! I felt in control the entire process. Felt that at any point I could stop everything, say I'm going home to think things over and we'll be in touch. NEVER have I felt that way at a dealership. During the process we were introduced to Elliot McEwen. Another outstanding gentleman!! He made the comfort level even MORE relaxing. NO PRESSURE. While they stepped away to get us approved, my wife and I talked and decided we were going home that night with the Explorer. No need to go home and chill cause there was nothing to chill from. Upon being told they got us approved we were introduced to Dave Allen, "The Math Guy"! LOL! Again, no pressure while going over final paperwork. Were shown options to ad such as extended warranty, GAP insurance and such. We got the GAP and the extended. No pressure to buy more, he understood we were on a budget and LISTENED to us!! The greatest car buying experience EVER!!
You guys have no idea how much your treatment of us meant. We elected not to say anything last night because we wanted a simple car buying experience BUT......My wife is going thru chemo treatments at this time for pancreatic cancer. My wifes happiness, comfort and health are the most important things to me in the world right now. We LOVED the Edge we traded, but I wanted her to have a few more features to make things easier at this time in her life. The LAST thing I wanted was more stress or pressure on her. You guys came thru with flying colors!!! To see her so happy and smiling so bright on the drive home made me feel INCREDIBLE about our purchase and your team at Plaza. Kudos to you guys. Kudos to your detail crew. To anyone reading this and looking to buy a car and go anywhere but here, that's just dumb. To Plaza Ford and your team, God Bless You.

I have to say that I was made to feel like I was not just another customer and once that new car left the lot, it was, okay, now you are on your own. Good luck. I did have a few issues with the new car, but when Hugh, the sales manager, called me to come back in he literally bent over backwards to make me happy, as did Gordy, my salesman and in the end, it turned out to be one of the better buying experiences I had had when purchasing a new vehicle and I have purchased my share in 64+ years. I would definitely go back and I would definitely let other people know. Hugh and Gordy you changed me!

Need to change your service hours for the people that work during the day. I had to use a vacation day to drop car off only to find out you dont have the part in house. Either change your hours or offer a rental for cars on recall or under warranty services.

Stopped in around plaza ford around 1pm to look at 2020 explorers. Walked the parking lot. Decided to go inside and check out the white 2020 limited explorer on the showroom floor. Decided I would then like to test drive one. Made eye contact with a few sales people, 1 sales person in particular who was on his phone the entire 45 mins i was there. Then decided to leave. We were not approached by anyone, not asked if we needed help. Walked out to my 2017 explorer....watched a man and his wife pull up and within 10 seconds they were greeted by another sales person. Guess we will be going to another dealership.

Plaza Ford sold me a 2014 Ford Mustang GT without a catalytic converter and with substantial modifications to the onboard computer. They did not disclose this information upon purchase and, once discovered, it cost me thousands of dollars in repairs at another dealer. After an initial email exchange in which "Business Development" manager Elliot claimed ignorance, I have heard nothing from anyone at Plaza Ford. I am left to conclude that either management at Plaza Ford are a group of liars who swindle customers with damaged vehicles, or they failed to inspect a damaged vehicle they had for sale on their lot. Dishonesty or negligence, take your pick. But, in either case, STAY FAR AWAY!

Worst service department and dealership I have ever dealt with. When they answer the phone they say hello. Dont say who they are or what business. Walked into showroom to look at an explorer. Not one sales person come up to see how I was doing. I have had to take my fusion up 3 times to get the lumbar support fixed and its still not fixed. First time was a diagnosis. Next time they were supposed to fix but the part they replaced didn't work. Set another appointment to take back up. Go up again and they have a order a new part that should have already been ordered since the last time they tried to fix it. Now I gotta take it back again.

Nate Hall is the salesman to see! My wife and I went in looking to purchase a 2020 Ford Raptor and he did everything in his power to make sure the deal happened. He was extremely professional and friendly which my wife and I very comfortable throughout the entire process. Not only did we leave with a new vehicle, but a new friend as well. I have purchased 6 vehicles in the last 4 years and this was hands down the best experience I have had to date. Also, I have to give credit to his entire team. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

I worked orginally with a different salesperson who has since left plazaford. She did a great job, but anyway this review will mainly focus on mario marino. Mario was straight forward, informative, friendly and genuinely seemed to care. If there was an answer he didnt know he went and got it quickly. I've known others that have gone to plaza and have had similar results. Plus they gave me a really great deal on the trade-in value of my previous car (an '06 corrolla). That all being said i would (and have) reccomend others to use plaza if they are looking for a ford vehicle.

This review is about a sales experience when purchasing a 2013 C-Max. Initially, ten days prior to the actual sale date, met Mario at the dealership, who apparently has received many good reviews for his customer service and salesmanship. However, Mario was not available the day that we intended to purchase the vehicle. The salesman that waited on us was 'Frank.' It seems to me/us that Frank should not be doing this for a living. There were three of us who went to the dealership to purchase the car (two adults and a 9 year old) and we ALL felt that Frank displayed a combination of rudeness and arrogance combined with what we perceived as a misleading manner that was beyond what the dealership should accept in their employees. In addition to this review, I intend to write a letter to Ford describing our experience. It is a bit of a shame, because Ford has some good vehicles, and also the one we particularly wanted was on this dealer's lot. Frank appeared to accept an offer that we made on the vehicle and went to 'write it up' - and when he came back the numbers did not match what we had clearly stated. He then refused to acknowledge that we had even stated anything. Then, when it came time to discuss the trade in vehicle - he stated that there was nobody presently at the dealership who could provide a value on the trade-in vehicle. When we asked when someone would be available, his exact words (word) was 'later.' Eventually the 'manager' provided a valuation. At the end of the day, I can honestly describe it as the worst car purchase experience of my life (out of at least nine.) My sense is that we could have ended up with any other salesman at the dealership and probably had a better experience, but he's the one we got and unfortunately for us and the dealership - that experience framed our opinion.

I was very thankful for a great experience at Plaza Ford. Staff was friendly, made you feel comfortable, gave you privacy and time to think. Love that I didn't feel pressured. Traded in a car in which the price they quoted and gave me for it was much higher than I expected. All in all, great experience, great people, great car.

I purchased a 2008 Ford Mustang from Jones Junction, they sent me to Plaza Ford to have my radio replaced. The mechanics wasted my time and gas. The person assigned to my car initially told me that it would take a few days for the radio to come in, he later called me to inform me it would be more like a week and that they would call me when it came in. They never ended up calling me to tell me my radio had came in. After two weeks i decided to call to see if it was taking longer then expected, the person assigned to my car told me my radio had come in and to bring my car up now. I get their only to find out that the person had mixed me up with another customer and that they had in fact already sent my radio back stating that they could only hold it for so long. Told me to come back in a week, i did so, they put in my radio. I get home and realize that night that the power to my air conditioning, heat, seat heaters and everything that goes along with it was not working. Turns out they had blown a fuse when replacing my radio. I called and they told me to come in and they fixed it. I live in Nottingham, to waste my time and gas driving to Bel Air because of their mistakes on two different occasions along with them sending my radio back without calling me was ridiculous and unacceptable.

I scheduled an appointment for Monday July 6th, 2020 and when I arrived I was taken care of just fine. My car is a 2014 Ford Focus and it was having problems with clutch shudder. I took it in to get it fixed based on the extended warranty letter I received they were supposed to do just that because of the problems my car was presenting. I drop it off around 9:30 am and then I get a phone call around 3:45, the lady on the phone told me they can t fix it because the clutch shudder wasn t bad enough to require replacement and that I can pick my car up before 6:30.

I arrived to retrieve my vehicle, but before doing so I asked to speak to the manager, so that I could get a full understanding as to why they weren t going to fix my vehicle even though the warranty clearly states if I experienced any shudder in the clutch they were to replace it. Paul Leroy comes around and begins to talk to me like I m a child. Secondly gives me baseless information as to why they won t fix it. They told me my clutch shudder has to measure above 250 before they can be authorized to fix it. I asked to see what mine was and no where on paper or any record could they show me the real number. One of the advisors went to ask a technician and that was the only person who could tell anyone because there wasn t any record of it anywhere saying the exact number it measured. The advisor who goes to ask comes back and tells me it was only 80 out of the 250 it needed to be at. Mind you I asked to see the policy that states it has to be 250 for them to replace or be authorized to replace it and he couldn t provide me with documentation stating that it s a real policy. I asked how they tested it and he said they normally drive it at-least 4 or 5 miles and take the data from the computer that tracked it and plug it in and send it off to Ford Motor Company to have as a record.

Taking a look at the invoice my mileage when I arrived was 84,570 and when I went out to my car after being given a number for customer service and told they couldn t do anything else for me, my car mileage was 84.571. They drove it for one mile to test the clutch shudder.

On my own I went ahead and schedule another appointment for July 7th at Al Packers Ford in White Marsh. I drive all the way there which is about a 30 minute drive for me and I get there and I pull into the service center and put my car in park and my check engine light comes on telling me my Transmission Fault and that I need to seek service now.

So what Plaza ford told me was my clutch shudder was nowhere near being at 250, but add an extra 15 miles to it and all of sudden it s bad enough to send my check engine light on and give me a transmission fault warning. That is absolutely an outlandish claim for it to be 80 and then not even a day later go from not bad enough to now I have to seek service for it.

I am utterly disgusted with the way I was treated. The way they lacked professionalism towards me. I am never returning to Plaza Ford for any of my service or dealership needs again. I will tell my family and friends the same. Paul is a joke of a manager and could care less about the safety of people s vehicles. The fact that I drove only 15 more miles after I was told the clutch shudder was nowhere near 250 and I arrive at the other dealership and my check engine comes on is ridiculous. If the technicians didn t want to do the work then tell me that, so that I can take my car elsewhere and have things taken care of. I shouldn t have had to have dealt with this outlandish behavior and treatment at all. What an absolute nightmare of a service center and garbage customer service.

He never pressured us at all to close the deal. The settlement process was absolutely painless! No pushing aftermarket products. I would strongly endorse Gordy Mueller, Gary and the entire team at Plaza.

After buying an F-150 in the spring I went to the parts counter to price a few accessories and they quoted me prices. ( It did seem as if they were bothered by me being there. ) I then decided to go to the service dept. and get a installation price ( as not to void any warranty ) on the add on's I wanted. I then said to the service adviser to set me up an appointment to get the work done. After the work was done the parts were marked up even more than the price I was quoted at the parts counter. When I asked about this they said it was a common practice ( what to rip people off ) to mark parts up installed by the service dept.I then spoke to the service manager and he was NO help at all, more of less worthless. I do not understand the difference is it a better part when the technician gets the part from the same parts dept. ? I will not bring my truck back again for service there again. Its off to the dealer in White marsh for me. Sorry to Plaza Ford but you guys need to rethink your customer service and what it means to people in today's economy.

Communication through the repair cycle from her was fantastic. The technical fault isolation and repair was professional, clean and tech noted a QA/QC check to verify repair. Thanks Plaza Ford team! First class service and parts departments. Knowledgeable, friendly and very professional.
We are brain washed dealers are much more expensive then most shops. This is definitely not the case at Plaza. Prices have consistently been more reasonable then four other shops I called. Repairs are done right the first time to Ford's standards. I feel comfortable knowing Amanda, Brant and Paul will be fair and honest. No need to go anywhere else. THANK YOU

After looking for a vehicle since April, we finally purchased a 2020 Ford Escape on 7/6/20 at Plaza Ford. We absolutely love it! Our salesperson was Mark Mansfield & he was GREAT..very patient, friendly & knowledgeable! We were treated very well during our visit. We would definitely recommend this dealership! We were also visited by the VP Charlie Walls & had a great conversation with him as well! We will definitely return!

This is the first time I have had my car to worked...

This is the first time I have had my car to worked on in the service department. All other trips were easily completed in the Quick Lane. The AC was not working correctly, and of course at this time of the year, it is sorely needed. The car went the shop at 0700 and was fixed by 1530. The car had to be diagnosed, parts retrieved, and then replaced, unit recharged and tested. The AC works perfectly now, and fixed before the end of the business day. Great job Plaza!!

i went to buy 2016 ford mustang at plaza ford. I had a look at the car and everything looks good and i decided to take it if its a reasonable deal. The plaza ford website and the car sticker showed that the MSRP as $25,895 and in the window sticker it was mentioned that

After this MSRP price they mentioned in the website that they are giving $1678 as discount and after the discount it came up to $24,217. when i thought of agreeing to this amount they said they need to add delivery(freight) charges $900 again. when i pointed out that they have already added that in the original MSRP they are saying that they didn't add anything like that. when i showed the window sticker that has the freight already mentioned in it and said that you are trying to charge me the $900 again after the original MSRP they started saying that we are not trying to charge you the delivery charges twice and they(other sales man) also started making comments on that to me. Which made me not to buy the car.

NOTE: Guys while going to this dealer please make sure that you check the car window sticker first and then make sure that the sales person is not trying to put that delivery charges again at the time of settlement. So that you will be saving that approx $1000.

I recently bought my second car from Plaza Ford and the experience was just as spectacular as it was previously. Honestly, I chose a Ford again specifically so I could give them my business. Not only are the staff incredibly welcoming, helpful & knowledgeable, but they're also more than willing to work with you without the feeling they're trying to pressure you into making a decision you're still contemplating. They're genuine, in other words, and with me that goes a long way. The icing on the cake is that I love what I bought! If you're contemplating Ford I highly recommend this dealer, even if it's a little out of your way location-wise.

The team at Plaza Ford went above and beyond making my new car purchase a home run. Not only did they find a vehicle with exactly the options I wanted but they were able to deliver it the same day. Hugh and Mike were transparent with all of the numbers, no hidden fees or surcharges. I went home happy with a beautifully detailed Mustang and a full tank of gas!.

I would 100% recommend them to all of my friends and family.

Had to take my Escape in for what I thought was major engine work Received a call from Mary she told me to take a deep breath it wasn't as bad as I thought! Have my car back already with a free oil change and tire rotation! The staff at Plaza Ford is always so nice to deal with.

I took my 2016 Escape in because I was getting a T...

I took my 2016 Escape in because I was getting a TPMS warning that I couldn't clear. It came on late Thursday night and I "thought" I put air in the low tires (both fronts) but it didn't go out even after driving almost 25 miles on the Interstate to get home.
The Service Advisor told me to take it around to the Quick Lube lane first, and if they couldn't take care of the problem, they would take it back to him and he would write it up under warranty (just over 17 months old and just under 10,000 miles).
The Quick Lube tech checked it out - it seems I should have checked pressures in all 4 tires! The fronts were at 33 pounds (after a 20 mile run to the dealership!) and the rear 2 were only 27!
The Good Vibes are because NO ONE gave me any grief about what was OBVIOUSLY a DUMB MOVE on MY part; they were respectful and courteous.

I originally gave this place 1 star based on the 3 times I tried to buy a truck here and wasn't able to seal a deal. However I recently needed to take my new truck (purchased elsewhere) in for some warranty work since they were the closest dealer to me. The service side was a great experience, everyone was nice and professional and yet still had a small family business feel. Good to know for when I need my next service. Providing shuttle service to and from was a nice touch as well. 5 stars for the service side.
