The spa has lots of great packages and very good massage therapists. And you can use the sauna as a hotel guest. The rooms are ginormous with great views. It's really nice to be able to walk to the strip.

This is one of the best hotels in vegas, it's not to far from the strip, so you can walk, and the staff are always so helpful and nice and one of the cleanest hotels. We always stay here when we visit vegas.

This is easily a 5 star hotel for many reasons. The room size is enormous. It houses a jetted tub and a separate shower, kitchen, huge bedroom, and a living room. Staff is very friendly and very attentive. The negatives to this had to do with simple upkeep of room maintenance. One of the double sinks didn't have hot water because the faucet was broken. When we arrived the light outside our room was shattered (it was fixed promptly when reporting) and the pillows we somewhat uncomfortable. These are easy fixes that would allow the 5 star rating they deserve and will continue coming back as the room size alone makes this hotel truly exceptional. Oh! Leave early as valet had a large line.

Love the hotel, room could have been cleaner, found hairs here and there (shower and tub), and the Jets in the tub shot out some nasty goo. The room was nice though, and the view was awesome. Also, I hate forced valet since I would rather park myself and unload my own bags. Finally, not a huge fan of the required key in the slot for lights and air conditioning.

This hotel is a great fit for those who are non-casino and non-smokers types, like me. I took my son for his 21st birthday, along with 3 of his friends. They all enjoyed the hotel as well and didn't mind not being able to vape until they left the hotel to head to The Strip.

The room sizes are great and clean. Bedrooms where separate living space from the kitchenette and living room. Kitchenettes were fully stocked to be able to cook on the stove, full-size fridge, dishwasher, and some suites had a washer/dryer located in them. Loved the huge bathtub and separate shower. Balconies are huge!

Staff (valet, concierge, front desk and maintenance) were friendly, helpful and prompt. Had an A/C issue, maintenance came quickly and had it fixed in less than 10 minutes.

The hotel is a quick 10-minute walk to the center of The Strip.

I will definitely be going back to this hotel in the future.

Lina was fantastic at the restaurant, made us feel welcome and she has a great personality. The food was really good too, they have a fun happy hour, and the amenities were kept really nice. We weren't able to enjoy the pool much as it was just too hot while we were there. Great location and great rooms too.

Visited Vegas Dec 2016 /Jan 2017 with my husband. Had an amazing time!. The hotel is amazing and the staff are the best. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were nice and clean and I loved the fact that they are all suites. I am not gambler or a smoker so this hotel was ideal didn't have to deal with he noises or the smells. It is not on the strip, but within walking distance, so I didn't need to be I the action 24/7 but if you wanted to visit the strip you could be there in no time. Already looking forward to a return trip. Thanks Platinum.

Forgot to update my review from 5 months ago. My f...

Forgot to update my review from 5 months ago. My first stay was pleasant enough, but each weekend after that, the quality declined. The rooms got worse and worse, particularly the hot tubs having broken parts. On the night of my final stay, my group and I showed up around 4 or 5pm to check in after a long and exhausting drive, but most of us didn't get our rooms until 9 or 10pm that night due to some sort of cleaning crew turnover and last-minute reservation of some other group, which was absolutely ridiculous. I don't think we got anything for the inconvenience either - no apology, much less a discount or coupon.
The next morning I was woken up early in the morning to some crazy loud banging and scratching noises in the cieling. I called the front desk and complained, thinking it was someone in the room above me, and they sent up security who listened to it and made a couple calls. Turns out maintenance was doing pipe irrigation due to a clogged toilet or something, and for some incourteous reason, decided 5 or 6am was the best time to do such noisy work. Not only did I not get an apology from anyone, but I was told that it would stop soon and to just wait it out... um wow. I guess I was staying in a Motel 6 instead of a posh, expensive Las Vegas hotel. By the time they were done making all their noise, I was too awake to go back to sleep, and had to leave soon anyway. My stay here started out amazing, but ended up being a total failure (with exception to the bar, cafe, and spa, which were great). I hope we stay somewhere with decent staff the next time our group has to visit Vegas. I'd rather stay in a lower class hotel with workers who apologize and fix issues, than an upper class hotel with workers who couldn't care less about you as a guest.
----------------

Stupid nice hotel. Upper middle class luxury. Only complaint is the front desk staff needs to hold up their vow of contacting patrons when their room is ready. Was annoying that I had to call them myself when the time they said the room would be ready by rolled around, and it was ready who knows how long before then. Also I don't think they do free breakfast, but they have a restaurant inside the hotel. Bar was excellent with very nice staff.
Edit: Have since tried the Kil@wat restaurant and the Well Spa. Both were excellent with very nice staff, the spa in particular. The prices seem reasonable, and you can use their relaxation area and sauna/shower room anytime during their open hours. The pool also looks fairly impressive, and is right next to the restaurant with poolside service. One of my favorite things about this hotel is the jacuzzi in the room, especially when used with a bath bomb or bubble bath.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Platinum Hotel. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. You do have to Valet Park but it's complimentary but we tipped our valet. Our room was equipped with a full size oven and stove dishwasher and full size refrigerator. We also had stackable washer and dryer. Our view overlooked the pool and the back of the Paris Bally's and Flamingo. The location is close to how many restaurants Starbucks 7-Eleven if you don't want to go to a casino. We were able to buy groceries and have food in our rooms which is convenient even to take your leftovers back to the room. My sister was in the Next Room and even playing the music on the speaker system at full volume she could not hear it. I took a bath with the Jets on and she didn't notice next door. The gym had cardio equipment ellipticals and treadmills dumbbells up to 55 pounds and a pulley station. Plenty of towels yoga mats yoga balls. Not very big but it was empty every time I went in whether it was the afternoon or 2 a.m. They have complimentary wine at 4 p.m. overall a wonderful experience we want to come back again.

Just Wow. We had an extended stay and it could not have been any better. The rooms are surprisingly sound proof and the beds were extremely comfortable. Our balcony (where we spent most of our time) faced East, away from the full sun of the day and away from the strip. We were happy to have had a room above the 4th floor as the view is amazing. Friendly, helpful staff. Scrumptious food (and groceries if wanted) right to your room. We would choose this hotel again and again. Thank you Platinum ~ We Vegas!

The rooms are very spacious and have stackable washer/dryer in the rooms. Great for families. Next time we will bring our own roll of paper towels. That's about the only thing they didn't supply (dishwashing soap, sponge, laundry detergent, and fabric softener were included). Although valet was very courteous and helpful, it would have been nice to have had self parking.

CON: Lobby smells like they drench their space with suntan lotion. A more subtle fragrance would be more inviting.

I love staying at the Platinum when I'm working more than a few days in Vegas (been there a number of times). The fully furnished large rooms have everything you need - Washer/dryer, stove/oven, big fridge/freeze w/ice machine, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, walk-in shower, huge double wide tube, dual vanity sink, breakfast bar and stools, big screen TVs and free wifi. After a trip to the grocery store you're good to go. I was there for more than two weeks just recently. Good food there but there's also good food nearby. Lotus of Siam (further out Flamingo) is rated one of the best Thai places in the country. Try Ellis Island for a late night slice of pizza (ends~midnight) but their restaurant is 24hr. Liquor store, 7-11, and a gas station all close by. Over the years they also seem to have a knack for hiring friendly bartenders.

The staff and hotel were top notch. The room size and layout was very nice; the best that I've stayed in of the 7 trips I've made to Vegas. It's a low key place that was relaxed and quiet which was just what I was looking for during my business trip.

I did not take advantage of many of the amenities or services offered, with the exception of room service one night. The food was very good and to my room quickly.

The only room/condo style that I've stayed at was Palms Place, but it did not stand up to my experience at the Platinum.

Overall the Platinum is on the very top of my list of places to stay while in town.

A perfect alternative to all those casino hotels in the surrounding. This hotel is completely devoid of any type of gambling machine or tables. It's a strictly traditional hotel in a literal sense. It's is an all suite hotel so the rooms are massive with large living room, full kitchen area, really large bathroom with large bath tub conjoining the bedroom and living room/ dining counter. The high floor give spectacular view of the city and the desert mauntains. Every room has a patio with furniture that you can sit and relax in while enjoying the view of the city. Front desk crews and all the staffers are friendly and helpful.

The platinum hotel yet effective hotel. Once you walk right in the doors you are greeted by the staff. The elevators aren't a huge distance away from the front desk. The rooms are nice! Definitely would stay there again. Just no casino floor located at this hotel. Have to go elsewhere to gamble

Great hotel in the immediate strip area. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our room was amazing with ferris wheel and strip view from the balcony and bedroom. Great amenities and upscale ambience. The hotel is not such a huge mass bunker but for Las Vegas standards rather small. The car service is car park.

This was by far one of the best hotels I stayed in Vegas so far. Room was very spacious the room we stayed in had three separate areas. There is a living room and kitchen area, the bathroom suite area, and the bedroom. Our room came with the balcony and it was a great place to look at the sites of the strip! We actually ordered room service a few times and the food was pretty good!

This place would have been nice that's why I have it 2 stars BUT, when entering the room the floor was wet not a little damp but wet when we informed the Hotel they informed the damp floor due to shampooing of the carpet and they explained that was their fault placing dryers in the room to dry the floor if not having loud floor dryer were not enough to minimize your experience we are not done. We did not even stay in the room that night. We did what mist who come to Vegas do, get A room to hold our stuff basically and enjoy our night. We did not get back to our room Until 7 AM the next morning upon entering the room the supposed carpet that was wet due to "shampooing", was so wet it looked as if you were playing in a puddle after it rained. At first the Hotel took ownership once again which WOULD have saved face BUT they informed us that their broken pipe mind you was the reason for the wet floor was our fault..... How was a room that was wet prior to us arriving and you, as the Hotel gave a BS story about shampooing now say the wet carpet was our fault due to a bad pipe...... Huh did we going into the wall and bust the pipe seriously horrid hotel. Horrible experience and they are LIERS..

Nice big rooms but terrible food and even worse assistance at the front desk. I called for hours to try to get the front desk on my room phone and it was always busy. Then when I asked for a late checkout because I had medication that needed to be refrigerated they refused- even for an hour later. Disgusting. No accommodations. Say they are family friendly but not really friendly!!

Update: Patrick came and found me at the hotel a few hours after I posted this and extended my room for the day so I could keep my medication refrigerated. It was very kind!

Washer was broke. No extra washcloths. You can not get extra from the front desk. Room appears nice and the view is nice. Several things do not work and the pool is down for remodelling. Had i known this prior to booking...I would have stayed in a different location.

It is a good hotel, with ample spaces in the rooms. Clean and just a couple of blocks away from the strip. The cafeteria on the 5th floor is terrible although the waiters are friendly and can not compensate for the poverty in the food. When you settle the bill you will be surprised with a 67-dlls hotel fee that was not announced upon arrival, which was extremely annoying. The truth is that I would not stay again because what you are looking for when coming to Las Vegas is to be close to the fun and the atmosphere

I prefer this hotel during the winter time when I am traveling with kids because it has a indoor pool that is very fun for the kids. It is very good for family because has a full kitchen and most of the units have also have washer and dryer machines. The rooms are very clean and everything seems pretty new. The beds are comfortable.
