Good rooms at a great price! Well within walking distance of the casinos on the strip.

Room was cool...except the ac didn't work consistently. Clean & well serviced. They sent a technician to fix the ac & he did but it went out the following day again. Courteous service & great hospitality. Solid locale on the Strip too.
Hotel is quite nice. Staff were ok but could be a little more accommodating. Only other problem seems in the morning when all the water pipes are been used there is a lot of knocking that woke me up every morning.
I love this hotel! Rooms are HUGE and come with jacuzzi, located near the strip and a bunch of good food. A great getaway!
Great stay. Endless hot water in an elegant bathroom. Cozy beds with quality bedding. Balcony rooms are nice, with a great view. Food was outstanding, breakfast especially. Great location. Perfect room for a business or pleasure stay. Will be back again for sure.
Great hotel. Doesn't smell like smoke. Staff is nice.
This hotel is awesome. Off the strip hidden gem.. staff very friendly, accommodating.
It's good, but not awesome. Not as clean as expected. The valet parking kills every desire to rent a car.
excellent room service, no harassing, polite I loved the room completely. everything was awesome.
Awesome veiw of everything & not too far from the festivities
Stayed multiple times when in Vegas on business. The rooms are amazing and the staff is extremely accommodating. Large rooms, full kitchens, and beautiful bathrooms.
Luxury apartments. Bedroom, living room with kitchen. Large bathroom with shower and separate bath. You can cook for yourself. Stove, refrigerator, microwave, kettle, coffee pot, dishwasher. The room is quiet. There is a radio bouz. TVs and stuff. The ventilation is quiet.
Friendly valets struck up a conversation with me and my kids while we waited for the car to pull up. Got a solid recommendation on where to grab some 6-packs super close-by. Good value IMO given it's practically on the strip, but charging noticably less than Casino/Hotels on the strip.
I attended a high school reunion at The Platinum. I am a "Las Vegas local" and found this off-strip property to be really nice. We had a great space onbthe 5th floor for our event, the food buffet was very enjoyable, service was great..and the room opened to a great, large outdoor patio with a pool, excellent views of the strip and a D.J. We are particularly impressed with the excellent bar, just off the lobby. This is a great place to sit in very comfortable chairs and enjoy the company of friends in an intimate setting. 50% off drinks for happy hour and a nice little appetizer menu.
We booked one of their condo-type units. It comes with a full kitchen setup, a living room, bedroom, and a full bath. Everything looks nice and clean. I was working remotely so it was nice to sit at the desk and do work and then make lunch for myself. The only weird thing is the shower. It feels a bit old compared to the rest of the unit.
Everything was exceptional about staying here, including distance from the strip. Only slight complaint is the bed wasn't very comfortable... But everything else made up for it. I definitely will be back and will recommend this place.
We have stayed there many times. Excellent, great people, especially, the guy's in Vale Parking.
We loved the Platinum was clean, spacious, quiet, with wonderful everything. It was just off the strip and still close to my meeting. It was a great place to go "home" to in the evening. We have nothing but great things to say about our stay there.
It is annoying when you book a room for a romantic getaway, and pay extra for the slighter nicer room, then when you check in you find out the room you paid for with the large king bed is sold out and you are stuck with two double beds. Everything else was pretty good about this hotel, but the whole reason I booked this hotel was because of the room type. Can't give it more than two stars because of this.
Good hotel, great for families and close to the strip
In terms of the room: great size, great jetted tub, great linens and comfy bed. Balcony is a nice addition. I am giving 5 stars because the staff went out of their way to make sure I was safe in my room and comfortable after another individual tried to come into to my room after a night of partying, I cannot thank the platinum enough and I will be staying here again.
This is the best place a Road Technician could ever ask for
I ve stayed at this hotel twice now for work in Vegas. The staff are very nice and helpful especially the staff in the Kil@wat restaurant. Breakfast is a very filling meal with large portions. Most of the staff remembered me from my previous visit exactly a year before. The maintenance guy Trevor even remembered my name in an instant as he walked into the lift. I assume I will be back here next year and look forward to it. I m not a fan of Vegas, so to be off Strip is a big plus for me. The rooms are clean, quiet, and have a well equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, large fridge freezer, huge oven, microwave and dishwasher. The bathroom has a walk in shower and huge bath. My room last year had a washing machine and dryer. Very handy to do laundry. Unfortunately, there were a number of groups that had pre-booked the rooms with laundry facilities this time round so I missed out this time. I can highly recommend this hotel.
Nice rooms and a reasonable price. Nothing special but nothing bad either
Good quality for accesible pricing, the spa is the B E S T part!!! Amazing masseuse!
Nice place! We chose it because we really wanted the 2 person jetted tub. But our tub's drain wouldn't seal properly so took longer to fill and we had to keep the faucet on to keep it full and one of the jets was missing a directional nozzle and sprayed water at the wall across the room. Other than that everything was great, the bed was super comfy and the rest of the suite was well-appointed.
My wife and I went here today and had a 90 minute couples massage. We had a private room with our own shower and steam shower. We have been to other spas in Vegas before such as the Bellagio, and wanted to try something off the strip. Our experience was wonderful. We had therapists that have been doing massage for 16 and 20 years. Ellen and Joy were excellent.
Well appointed, large suites, with full sized sbys fridge, dishwasher, stove, fireplace (no fire, electric), 2 person jauczzie tub, shower, dbl, sinks, & 2 flat screens.
The place was great it had a lot of space decoration and interior design was nice and I love the kitchen I think it was one of my favorite cuz I could cook in the morning it was great but the only thing I would say that was bad about it was the fact that the Hallway smelled horrible. The moment I entered the elevator by the time I was on the second level just passing it to get to 17th level it smelled horrible the entire time all the way till I walked into my room.
Beautiful hotel to stay at and all the Comforts of home.
We just had our 40th wedding celebration there on April 21 and it was great. Sandra and Steven from the Platinum were great. My wife wanted a an Elvis impersonator and he came and sung during the ceremony. The food, flowers and the cake were great
Nice hotel lots of great amenities, very professional staff and the pool is nice
Everything was great from the valley to the reception is excellent service
I stayed here for a week in a suite with my family, and was incredibly disappointed. There are dozens of hotels in the same area as this one for half the price, so I expect to have an exceptional stay. The room was wonderful and clean, aside from the fact that the air conditioning in both bedrooms did not work in the middle of June. If internet is important to you at all, avoid this place! I couldn t even do a simple google search without having to wait at least an entire minute. The hotel staff is very friendly, but they are incredibly overwhelmed. Most of the time there is only one valet staff, or occasionally two. If you re looking for a simple family vacation and plan on only using your room for the necessities, I would definitely recommend this place. However, if any of the above reasons bother you, there are plenty of other cheaper and better options.
Large suite/apt was very comfortable & a welcome escape when returning from the Vegas Strip madness each day/night. Staff very friendly, helpful & accommodating.
We stayed here as a family with 3 kids ages 17.16 and 8. We had an extremely large room, called a Marquise Suite.
Generally, the room was clean and tidy. Beds were comfortable and bedding was fine.... nothing special though, but for the rate we paid, I feel it offers excellent value for money. We had to move some cushions on the sofa and found some food underneath, which was not great. The bathrooms were very spacious and clean. The bath did have some limescale though.
There was a stag party staying at the hotel, which is not ideal for this family location, and they did keep us awake till 2am on one night. We did not complain, as of course this is outside of the hotels control.
The best thing about this place is the very pleasant staff and the location. The reception staff could not be more helpful, and offer good service. The proximity to the strip is ideal, easily within walking distance.
I would probably look to stay somewhere else next time, despite an overall good experience, as I feel the rooms are in need of some refurbishment, although this is definitely reflected in the price paid.
Well the apartment, spacious and pleasant. Good cleaning, not excellent. The location is good, 1 km from Las Vegas boulevard. But if you plan to stay several days, it is better to rent a car.
Settle into a long night's relaxing spa-cation or hit the town and come home to luxury when you are done!
I been a long time customer of the Platinum. I love the location, balcony views, spacious suites and relaxing hot tube. This time around I used AirBnB to host my weekend stay. I do miss the self parking from way back in the day. it's been a long time since the Platinum had a facelift. Their neighbor Ellis Island is remodeling and I believe it's time for Platinum to do the same. over all still my favorite hotel near the strip.
Anazing place to hold an event, Rhiannon tge event manager was wonderful..Highly recommend.
The Platinum provided exactly what we were looking for in our visit to LV. We have two young kids so the indoor pool was literally the main selling point of the hotel. The fact that the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were well furnished and my kids loved the view of the ferris wheel from our balcony was absolute gravy. I would definitely go back to the hotel again.
I find some of the staff is nice, until you check out, and suddenly it becomes somehow okay for them to not be nice anymore. The reason I gave two stars is the valet and bell services have been helpful.
The Marquis room 819 we stayed in was not clean when we checked in--but not to the point that I had to request another room.
The location is somewhat convenient, but it requires some driving to the strip unless you don't mind walking for 10-15 minutes in the summer heat.
The pool is disappointing--its floor grated the skin of our kids.
We would like to thank this hotel for being mediocre, so we will never return.
All at disposal, close to the strip, quiet hotel without noise. Nice and helpful staff.
I like IT, near the strip. You can Walk like 5 min. And you are on the strip...even shorter if you go to.balleys. Nice room. Nice pool
Spacious rooms, very good service and at a great rate
The beds and furniture are not very soft and the internet never works for more than 20 min. at a time. The food and drinks are also over priced. Glad there was a casino next door with food at a reasonable price.
Excellent hotel. Nice and quiet because it's off the strip. But close enough to the strip to be very convenient.
Great room loved the fireplace and kitchen with polite staff
Dog friendly, condo style accomodations. We stayed in a large 1 bedroom. Appliances are stainless steel. Jacuzzi tub and seperate shower. 2 tvs- one in the livingrroom and one in the bedrrom. A true balcony, a rarity in Vegas. Evening pool view is awesome. Parking is valet only.
Horrible. You can't park your own car, if you want to park here you'll have to wait 30 minutes for valet to bring your car. Woke up the next morning to my car having issues when it was perfectly fine the night before. Extra miles tacked onto my car so somebody went for a joyride in my $50,000 car. Front desk people are rude and have horrible people skills. I left something in the room I was staying in and they wouldn't let me back in the room to get my stuff until the guards went up to the room to get it for me. You can't get stuff out of your car unless valet brings it to you. Horrible expirience, will never spend my money here ever again.
The Platinum feels upscale without being over the top ornate. The rooms are large suites with full kitchens and huge luxury bathrooms. The jetted tub was an unexpected treat during my first visit there. And the nightly complimentary wine reception, paired with cheap happy hour in the bar are nice perks, too.
While we encountered an issue with our room that needed to be fixed, the hotel management was responsive and left an apology note and a snack in the room for when we returned later that night. It was handled very well. Full disclosure: We did get a first impression that the person filling in at the bell desk was not very welcoming when we first arrived, so that was a bit off-putting initially. But everyone else we encountered was professional and pleasant. Maybe it was just an off day?
As for the location, it's convenient as long as you don't mind being a little bit off of the Las Vegas strip. We skipped renting a car, since it was only about 5-10 minutes to walk to Bally's and the monorail (which is a great cheap transportation option for those wanting to explore along the strip).
For those who want a fancy, large pool, theirs is not as large as some others, but there are a few cabanas and the area is well-maintained like the rest of the property.
It's also good to note there is no casino on the property. However, you can go a couple doors down if you want to gamble a little with the locals and grab a cheap breakfast at Ellis Island. There's also a 7-Eleven and a large souvenir store on the block.
I'll be keeping an eye out for specials to return again on a future visit.
Nice large rooms with a view and the staff is awesome! I have stayed here many times! Plus it is right off the strip!
Customer service was amazing Rooms were so nice such a great visit
Really great value but it is slightly off the strip and no casino.
Great place to stay. Friendly staff, with a pretty decent happy hour downstairs from 4-7pm. Fitness center is below average. Food is average for Vegas hotel standards.
If you're looking for a apartment style room with your own kitchen this is a good place for it.
Nice staff, easy to find off the strip. Very close to almost every thing we wanted to do.
Great rooms from mine enjoyed an excellent view over the city
Very comfortable and spacious room
Great for spending a few days in Las Vegas
Great location. Only blocks away from the strip. Very Big Rooms With a full size kitchen, fireplace, and large bathroom.
Stayed one night at the beginning of our family vacation before heading up to Zion the next day. The room was nice and spacious. It was very quiet, which we were thankful for after a long day of travel. Only minor issue was that the toilet took 5-10 minutes before the tank started refilling, but it wasn't a huge issue.
We didn't make much use of it, but the kitchen area was very nice as well.
We stayed at The Platinum for 3 nights while on an anniversary trip. For the price, I was shocked by the size of the room. It was HUGE and very nice. The bathtub could fit 3 grown people (not that there were...umm...what happens in Vegas stays there!). It was super comfortable...felt a lot like being at home.
We ate at both Stir (during Happy Hour...best time to go!) and Kilowat which are on-site restaurants. Really good food at both places and service was awesome.
I loved the complimentary valet, although at times it was hectic with only 1 valet and several guests checking-in and going out. Had to wait a bit on Saturday night and were late for dinner.
It says 2 blocks off the Strip, but it is pretty far. We drove our own car, so it wasn't an issue, but just for reference. We never got to use the pool (one night it was closed for a wedding, next night we went out), but it looked very nice and was pretty busy most of the time.
For the price, you won't get a bigger room. Happy with our stay :)
Rooms are nice, this was good, service was acceptable.
The rooms are pretty big.. they're like mini apartments and it's close to the strip.
Just off the strip, great location! access to Great amenities
Stunning views, the room is bigger than my house, the price of the hotel restaurant is very good for breakfast and lunch. Everything is very clean and with a wide range of services. Free parking.
Four of us stayed here for 2 days. Very well equipped and a good facility in general. Good experience.
Nice off the street hotel, free valet, and spacious rooms
The room is nice, but don't bother paying for the strip view. You're just overlooking a parking lot and part of the building. There wasn't a hair dryer in my room and I had to ask the front desk and house keeping for one three times. I finally got one the day after initially asking. The bar was good and they do have a nice pool and hot tub. I'd probably stay here again just have slightly lower expectation. The location is great in relation to casino and food.
Great hotel close to the strip. The suite was extremely clean, spacious, and comfortable. However, there is no self parking. Valet is required.
