Craft burger food truck Review

This was the best burger I have ever eaten! It was cooked to perfection, juicy and fresh! But, the service was as impressive as the burger. Presentation is everything. The cashier looked fresh --- clean, beautiful white teeth and professionalism that belongs in a high class firm. The wife of the owner was equally on point. She was confident and kind, and had a smile that would make anyone want to try their burgers! These folks rock, y'all! Oh, the onion rings are out of this world... never tasted anything like them. The flavor is so unique and delicious! Just try them!!!

In the mood for a burger we Googled and found Craft Burger.....OMG so hooked right now! Had the Mushroom Blucheese Buffalo burger cooked well done with the Buffalo sauce on the side and Man oh Man we are in Burger Heaven! Did I mention the Fresh Cut Fries!! YumYum
Fast Service and super Polite! We will def be back and talking about this place when asked for a Burger recommendation.

The family and I went here last night (Sunday Feb 10) and it was soooooooo good! My kids are kinda picky eater and they loved it. My husband and I loved the farm to plate concept!!! The employee were very nice as well. I will recommend this to everyone

It's $3 to sub a plant based patty for beef, which is ridiculous. The bun is marginal. Ordered $7 truffle fries that were the worst fries I've ever had. They were cold, tasted like they had soaked in old grease. I took them back and they made fresh ones that were just ok. But why serve something gross in the first place? I asked for a refund on the fries instead of making more, but they didn't see it that way. The food isn't worth what they charge. If you want a burger, Whataburger has this place beat by a landslide.

One of my top locations for delicious burgers. Visited on Sat I believe. Staff treated us so nice. Feels similar to a cafe in Chicago I liked.

Craft burger is the best! Lots of negative reviews from Competitors.. hahaha. Chef Tune bends over backwards for his customers. I ve had cold fries before.. pointed it out ..fries were replace. It s called communication (1 star parasites) whether Chef Tune was on tv or not I respect quality service as well.

Craft burger goes beyond expectations. The staff make you feel at home and the food is fast and warm. The chicken sandwich was a gourmet meal and I can t wait to come back with friends and family to share my experience.

I only had a 15 minute lunch break and Craft Burger was quick, high quality, and I can t wait to come back.

Really great burgers worth the premium IMO. They're located in Finn Hall downtown, right off the rail line. Prices reflect that plus the quality of the ingredients. Friendly staff, too!

The food is everything you need and desire. The chicken is something special, I see how the founder won Food Network Chopped. The Morning After Burger is just genius. The cashier, I didn't catch her name but long eyelashes, she was a doll. We really enjoyed her. We visited for a small staycation and ended up having Craft Burger 3 times within 24 hours! Late night right before close, breakfast, then lunch to go before heading home! CAN'T WAIT to go back..ugh I miss the chicken already! edit: totally forgot to add my comment about the juicy Lucy truffle burger. Yall??!! That burger is in my top 5 gourmet burgers of a lifetime! LIFETIME!

Incredible fresh food inside an already great atmosphere. The customer service was on point as well. Highly recommended this place if you re looking for a typical burger, or something with a little tasty twist.

We got the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich and it was AMAZING!!! We also saw other menu items come out of the kitchen as we ate and they looked just as fantastic! We spoke with Shannen and really enjoyed our conversation with him. We quickly realized he has tremendous knowledge and passion in the food industry. He s a really likable guy who you can t help but root for! We re hoping to see this restaurant expand, hopefully to the east coast where we re from!

I got the hamburger and sweet potato fries and it was sooooooo good! The servers were really nice and you get a text when your food is ready. The only reason why I gave it a 3 was because I didnt get full off my meal and the price of the burger by itself was 8 and the fries 3.27. Other than that everything was great. Like the atmosphere

Best meat substitute EVER!! I got the Juicy Lucy with the vegan patty and it was AMAZING!

I LOVED the food so much I had to double back the next day to get some more. The service both days was amazing and the food was delicious. The first day my family ordered a cheeseburger, Juicy Lucy, Buttermilk chicken sandwich, sweet potato fries & seasoned fries. It was all delicious and very filling. The next day I returned with friends and ordered Juicy Lucy (it is a MUST-TRY) and Nashville Hot chicken sandwich. I ate the cold chicken sandwich this morning for breakfast and it was still delicious! It is located in Finn Hall and parking can be expensive if you use one of the garages nearby, but it is definitely worth it.

Tried Craft Burger today for the first time, literally the best burger I have ever had (the Craft Sauce is amazing).

So the best way to judge a burger joint is to order a standard cheeseburger...in my opinion. That's how I started with Craft Burger, and it was GREAT! Favorite burger..... well, beside maybe Moon Tower Inn. Neck and Neck for me.

Exceptional burgers using high quality meat and the freshest ingredients. And those buns are perfect! I love that you can eat a good gourmet burger and not feel sick or heavy after. And Chef s fries/truffle fries are to die for. Perfectly crispy and loaded! I can t get enough. Next up for me, the loaded fries!!

Craft Burger is like the little curl with a curl: when it's good it's very good, but when it's bad you can expect long waits, order mix ups, cold food, lost and/or forgotten orders, melted milkshakes and raw burgers. This has happened to either me or my coworkers every time they come to our office complex (there's no cafe here, so we buy out of necessity.) But as I stated earlier, when they're good they're very good. It helps if you get to the truck early; a busy lunch rush makes the quality of food and the customer service go downhill.

A bit of advice guys: maybe start par-cooking burgers and dropping fries before the big rush so you can turn orders faster without the mix ups and raw food. You've been in business long enough to have the kinks worked out by now. You have great food but your customer service issues are going to doom you!

First impression..staff is eager and friendly...wait time is ok and they will text u when food is ready..the food is good...i had a classic cheesburger medium rare and it was tasty..the fries taste good as well however they were small fragments like at bottom of fry basket ..not impressed....the burger while tasty is smaller than a sonic burger...and the cost is a bit much...burger fries and root beer 18.00!....

I went to the food truck off of Rosenhill lot. They were not clean. The guy didn't where gloves but he kept touching all the food while wiping his forehead because he was sweating. He kept leaving the truck walking around then come back with never washing his hands. The service was terribly slow. I saw where they made another customer a grill cheese sandwich and there was an object of some sort in his sandwich that didn't belong. All in all its just was not clean and no one wore gloves. I would not recommend this place to no one, and by the way. I waited 20 minutes for a burger that the bun was dried out, the fries were cold and that's no joke. A burger with two things of fries for twenty bucks for that. Unbelievable

Truffle burger was
Absolutely perfection!

I got into Houston from out of state and couldn t get to Craft Burger fast enough. I had been hearing nothing but good things about this establishment since they were a food truck. I have to say, even with my high expectations, they did not disappoint. The food was fresh and delicious, the staff was accommodating, and the location was a nice addition to the experience.
I had several items that were all very good but the Juicy Loosey was the feather in the hat.
The burger as a whole was very fresh and hearty but surprisingly light. From the bun to the burger and everything in between, the Juicey Loosey was an experience everyone should have.
Kudos to Chef Tune and his staff for creating something special and doing it right.
They have a real winner here!

The buttermilk fried chicken sandwich is amazing! Must-try as prescribed...don't sub or remove items. Unless allergic! Onion rings were great. Fries were overcooked. I'll try fries again, but will advise not to overcook them.

Stopped in on my way to work. I don t care if this is down town, your crazier options shouldn t cost 2-6 bucks more and weigh half the size of a place like Rodeo Goat.

Food came out quick but the only hot thing about it was the egg on the Morning After Burger. Maybe I ll remove this if I try the other options but until then, just hit up Burger Joint, Stanton s City Bites, Or Rodeo Goat.

My favorite is the Poutine. Love love love. Cashier was patient and the cooks asked about my experience. I'll definitely be back.

I don t understand the bad reviews. This place is a little pricey, but every other restaurant in Finn Hall is similarly pricey and, when compared to a similar burger restaurants like Hopdoddy, their prices are almost exactly the same. Food is awesome. Juicy Lucy is one of the best burgers I ve ever had. They make their own bacon from a pig imported from Japan gourmet stuff. If you like Whataburger, you re not going to get this place. Also, the bananas foster milkshake is incredible!

Very disappointing for a chef that's been on TV . Would not recommend it , I recommend low tide . I seen workers eating in the back and not washing their hands I was disgusted this place is germy .

First time trying Craft. We ordered two special burgers of the day and a chicken sandwich. The food came out fairly quickly however the sandwiches were a bit on the small side. It tasted fine, but for the burgers they came with fried onions on top and I watched them put already cooked onions instead of fresh ones. The onions were cold and I did not appreciate that. The pulled pork that was on top was also cold.

I can not believe the hype. First of All I spent 18.00 freaking dollars for a TRUFFLE BUTTER JUICY LUCY the worst version of a special I've ever had, the meat look like they mushed it together with truffle butter and cheese curds inside but it was very sloppy, the fries were waaaaaay to salty and every time I brought back my buttermilk chicken it was undercooked , I really don't suggest this place to anybody but Chef Ramsey #LowTidesBetter & then on top of that the food is over priced the CHEF OBVIOUSLY USES THE SAME INGREDIENTS ON EVERY BURGER & CHARGES WAY TO MUCH , horrible experience not coming back !

Don t bother. The gave ave me a cold burger. Cheese wasn t melted and burger way under cooked. And seriously over priced.

Just got the standard cheeseburger and fries. Decent, but nothing I'll remember in a week. Will try their more creative burgers next time.

Pro: Bounus points for being in FinHall for ambient. The staff was friendly. The Blue Cheese Mushroom Burger was well cooked and the flavors blended well. The wait time was not long. Cons: Prices are a little steep, you can walk out paying $20 for burger, fries and a drink. *ProTip, there are water station around FinHall if you don't want a flavored drink.

I am a burger lover. It takes a lot for a burger to impress me. I had the Bacon BBQ burger and fries. Wonderful experience. The bacon on the burger was amazing. Good portions. Price for burger, fries, drink, tax and tip was $20. Fries are well seasoned, crispy and not oily. Burger was so juicy. Loved it.

I got the craft burger with bacon. It was soooooo good! Cooked to medium perfection. I feel bad that I got all the condiments and ended up not wanting to use them lol. We also got truffle fries and loaded fries. So much flavor! Since this was my first visit to Finn Hall, the staff was also very helpful and accommodating. Will definitely be back!

I visited the new brick & mortar location at Finn Hall downtown during the grand opening. There was a mental debate whether to go with a burger or chicken sandwich as I stood in line for over 30 minutes. I decided to get the chicken sandwich and received my food in like 5 minutes after ordering which was good BUT it turned out that the quick service time was not good. The chicken sandwich was horrible as it was a little chewy due to being under some heat mechanism instead of being cooked fresh or recently prior to order. The regular fries were ok...my spicy Whataburger ketchup made them acceptable. Won't be in a rush back ...plus I threw half of the chicken sandwich away and wasted like $12 for the sandwich alone (added bacon). The chicken is clearly a little old looking in my photo which was taken at the point of me being done trying to eat it.

I returned for a comp meal and ordered another chicken sandwich. It was MUCH better the 2nd time around. I have also been back a few times afterwards BUT to enjoy the great fries. A friend ordered the cheesesteak sandwich and stated that it was one of the best around Houston. That's a big compliment!

I'm pretty disappointed with my meal from Craft Burger at Cypress Rosehill Beer Garden. The food is way overpriced for the poor quality of the food. The bun was stale, the meat undercooked, the lettuce was soggy, even the ketchup for fries was runny. Initially I noticed a hair on my kids grilled cheese but brushed it off. I don't typically make reviews, especially a bad review, but I'm still bothered by my experience and the amount I paid for a burger, fries and 2 kids meals. Ridiculous. This place definitely needs to make some improvements.

Truly the Juicy Lucy is the best gourmet burger in Houston. This is a place that pays attention to detail, cares about making a great burger, and provides superior service to its customers.

Visited Finn Hall and wanted to try Craft Burger. While the brunch burger and onion rings were really good - I shouldn t have to pay $25 at lunch for a burger, side and drink. No burger is worth that price, sorry.

Always love this place for a burger during the week. I love their burger specials but find myself always going back to the fried chicken sandwich. It s so good! Went last night before the Astros game and got the craft burger and cheese curds. I have high bar for cheese curds given my time spent in Wisconsin and these did not compare but were still good.

My family ordered tonight. The grilled chicken (on the Chicken BALT and Spicy Yard Bird) wasn t super seasoned, but it was still flavorful. The fried chicken (on the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich) was good and nicely seasoned. It was a little hard to find the restaurant because it s basically in a food court area with a lot of other restaurants as well, but once i found it, the service i received was great and our orders came out pretty fast! Everything seemed very tidy. We would go there again, but we d probably only order the fried chicken. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a well-priced, quick meal!

7/17/20. Cashless. Located in Finn Hall dowtown. Called in order as I parked & it was ready for pick-up. Burger was perfect & lots of bacon. Omg... the onions were huge & flavorful.

Overcooked burgers. Dried out and burnt around the edges. Fries were good but for that much money I was expecting burgers to be MUCH better.

1 burger with no sides was 13.59. It was finished in 4 bites it was so small. I wish I wouldve taken a picture. Such a waste of money and it didn't even taste good. You know when you have all these options and hope you picked a good one, then you get your meal and its heartbreaking because it was the worst option? That was this. So disappointing, such a waste of money

Brisket Cheeseburger on point...the Hot Chicken sandwich, probably the best I've had in awhile.

Supposedly they re open today but they canceled my order with no explanation on Uber Eats and refuse to answer their phone

Decent not great. If you're used to Hopdoddy or Shake Shack you'll be disappointed. The veggies on the burger are so cold that they overwhelm the heat of the bun and patty. Fries leave something to be desired. For reference, McDonald's fries are better. Not worth the premium price you pay, at least at the Finn Hall location.

Prime location. Great burgers. Juicy without the grease. The fries were pretty good as well. I had the craft burger, usually not a fan of cooked onions but with the sauce it was very good. Husband had the morning after, loved it. I tasted as well, again I would've have ventured that direction, but it was surprisingly well put together.

This food was amazing!!! If it wasn't for Black Restaurant Week, I wouldn't have known about this jewel. We ordered the BBQ bacon cheese burger deal that came with fries and a drink. Then, I ordered a classic cheese burger, fries, and an oreo shake. We also ordered a chicken sandwich, truffle fries, and the tropical tea. That chicken thigh was so juicy and flavorful...my lawd . The service was excellent and the cashier was patient with us as this was our first visit. They encourage social distancing and are requiring face coverings. You can choose to dine in, but we took ours to go and started enjoying it as soon as we got in the car. I overpaid for the meter because you just never know how long things will take these days, but we were in and out in less than 30 minutes. I will definitely patronize them again!!

Burger enthusiasts will appreciate these burgers! Really fresh, quality ingredients. I recommend adding their delicious truffle mayo to whatever you order. The fried chicken sandwich is also really good, so are the fries -basically everything I've ever ordered was great! Online ordering is really simple and my food is always ready on time and packaged well for to-go. Great customer service.
