Quick 15000 mile factory maintenance, oil change, ...

Quick 15000 mile factory maintenance, oil change, tire rotation. Tacked on a wheel alignment because they noticed some feathering. Service writers seemed impatient and rude, but prices were reasonable and Bill was very friendly and polite, gave me a ride to work in the morning after I dropped my car off.

Will likely return for my 22,500 mile maintenance.

I wish I could post pictures. I took my vehicle here November 27th For some recalls and they messed my car up. My front tires are completely bald and my steering wheel is off which indicates an alignment issue. After replacing my Lower control arms they are required to do an alignment on your vehicle. After two months my brand new tires are currently ruined. They are denying any responsibility and the manager has not returned my calls. But they claim they did do an alignment.... if so how would my vehicle become this unaligned in only two months???? It s impossible. I just can t believe this!!! Do NOT take your vehicle here.

They changed the oil and fixed the tire, that had a nail in it, and I was in and out in no time. Ben is on the ball getting everything in order and getting my car back to me so quickly! I took my car here for the first time yesterday morning for service. I had a scheduled time of 8:00am and decided to wait for the car to be completed. I was out the door by 9. Overall the price was fine for the oil change and the tire rotation. The people at the desk were friendly and helpful. The waiting area is a waiting area. I was able to get some work while in the waiting area using the wifi. Overall pleasant experience and since i just bought a Mazda I am sure i will be back again.

Recently got my car's oil changed and tires rotated. In and out in less than an hour while waiting in the comfortable waiting area. Got a nice overall diagnostic doc that detailed how my tires and brakes, etc were doing. Very nice service visit.

I just purchased a brand new 2018 Mazda CX-5 Grand...

I just purchased a brand new 2018 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring. I love the fact that they did not play games when I walked into the dealership. I walked in and told them exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a 2017, but they didn't have one, but I knew that before I walked it. I had been doing my research for over 8 months and knew exactly what I should pay for the vehicle. Their first offer was very fair and was not marked up by thousands like many others dealers do. The price that I was given was very close to what many tried to sell me the 2017 for. My salesman PAUL THRASHER was absolutely outstanding. This man is so knowledgeable and knows his Mazdas. Customer service is superb! I cannot give him and James enough kudos. Big thanks to James for all his help. He put the icing on the cake to get the deal done. This was the fastest and easiest car purchase I have ever made. After I picked up my car, Paul took the time to setup and go through every single feature that my vehicle offered. And let me tell you, this vehicle does a lot. I received followed calls and emails after my purchase. I am a very happy and satisfied customer.

It was easy to set up an appointment and communicate, and everyone we encountered was friendly and professional. Our salesman, Joe, was wonderful. I moved to Richmond in January 2020 and have been going to Pearson Mazda since then. They helped me with everything from getting my virginia registration set up, to doing my regular service appointments.

The service techs are always extremely friendly, especially John, who I normally work with. He takes his time to explain everything to me without being condescending (as a young woman, this is a big deal).

If there is a recommendation for service that I know I can handle (i.e. air filter changes, etc.) they are never pushy about doing it for me, so i can save a few dollars and do it myself.

My car wouldn t start not long ago and Pearson easily could ve charged me for a full service appointment to identify the problem. Instead they let me know the only issue was my battery and I was able to save money by cashing out on my battery warranty with autozone.

I definitely recommend and will continue to use their services.

Always a pleasure to have my Mazda 3 serviced at Pearson Mazda. Everyone's friendly and professional. Their rates are very reasonable and the techs are efficient. I enjoy perusing the new Mazdas around the showroom and lot as well. The salespeople are low/no pressure and happy to just discuss their various vehicles in easy conversation.

Normally am very happy with your service and staff. Was very disappointed that staff members were not wearing masks. I work in health care with a very vulnerable population and felt uncomfortable that they are not taking proper precautions to protect customers and those they interact with. Seems irresponsible

Great experience from the time I walked into the door. No high pressure and everyone was very courteous and professional. The credit manager was very helpful and polite and explained my options. I also appreciated the social distancing that I witnessed and saw everyone practicing. The GM was polite and friendly. I have purchased several vehicles here in the past, and the service is one of the main reasons I keep returning.

And when Monday came around they got in touch with me early in the morning to tell me what repairs they needed to make and then completed them quickly.

My RX-8 developed a problem with loss of power, accompanied by a flashing check engine light. Pearson was able to schedule the car for the next day and gave me a loaner vehicle while my car was in the shop. They found the problem, had the needed parts, and were able to complete the repair by the end of the morning. When I picked up the car, it ran flawlessly, just as I expected. A big "thank-you" to Ben and the great technicians at Pearson!

What a wonderful experience both in the purchasing and driving my new Camry. I have not taken it for an extended trip traveling via the highway but I am getting here in the city 32 miles to the gallon. That is crazy. I am impressed with the comfort and ride of this vehicle. Feels as thought I am floating on air. One of the best cars that I have ever purchased. I am a Toyota owner for life.

My brothers wife bought her 2014 Mazda 5 from this...

My brothers wife bought her 2014 Mazda 5 from this company in March 2016. Two weeks later I bought one. This last repair is nothing short of dishonesty and/or incompetence. Their Mazda 5 developed a noise in the front. They were told both front axles had to be replaced at a cost of $1500 to fix this noise she was experiencing at Peason. I have this mechanic off of Staple Mills, they took my suggestion and took it there for a second opinion. Russell and his crew looked at it and determined that whoever installed the brake pads in the front (Pearson Mazda) did it incorrectly. They also looked at this issue Pearson said it was and determined only one of the two axles had an issue that didn't need repair anytime soon. It wasn't the issue at all. His cost of repair, $89. It corrected the sound issue. All they had to do was remount the brakes correctly. Short and simple.. $1500 vs less than $100.... take your car elsewhere for repairs unless for warranty work. As for sales, her and I had good experience in that arena but why buy a car with a dishonest and/or incompetent service center.

Miata went in for its 6 month, low mileage oil change and tire rotation. 2k miles. Plus an install of Apple Car play. Took car in at closing on Tuesday, asked for a 2PM finish on Wed. I called around 3PM and was told it would not be ready until 4 or 4:15. Around 4:45 I left home to walk to a meeting scheduled for 5. They called to tell me the Miata was ready. I told them I would pick it up on Thursday. Picked it up, customer rep was very nice apologetic for the delay. Apple Play install seems fine but no cord was included so I had to use the one I had at home to make it work. I thought that kind of odd.
I put low miles on my cars so it will be 6 months before I see a dealer again for work. It's all good. The service rep smoothed things out as best she could and I appreciate that.

I visited the store last Friday and was willing to buy a Nissan Altima. During the test driving I found the tire signal light is on and the car smelled bad and looked dirty. They were selling a car that was not ready for sale. I asked if they can give a sales inspection report of the car before I buy it. They refused and insisted they have given me the annual safety report on which every item is ok but the car had flat tire. They refused to clean the car before I pay for it. So rediculous!

I had an issue with my sunroof shattering while I was driving down the road earlier this week and took my car into Pearson Mazda for help as that is where I purchased my CX-5 less than 2 years ago. Mazda refused to replace the glass under warranty, though there must have been a defect in the glass for it to shatter without cause (nothing fell on or hit it). However, Pearson Mazda has been very gracious and gave me a loaner while they are working on the repair. I appreciate Sarah's help in working with Mazda to try and get the repair covered!

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. Pearson was terrible to work with. My husband and I were very forthcoming about what we were looking for in our new car - including color, packages, price, etc - and the Pearson salesman assured us he could get us exactly what we wanted and was only a few hundred dollars off of our price. We cleared our afternoon to go buy the car from Pearson but when we arrived a few hundred dollars was closer to several thousand dollars. We called them on their bait-and-switch game and we left without buying from them. They wasted our afternoon with their dishonesty and gamesmanship. We found the exact car we wanted from another dealer who matched our price and didn't give us a runaround.

I had been looking for a new(er) car for a while and my father looked on Pearson Mazda s website and found a Honda Accord with everything I was looking for. We went in on Monday evening with only looking in mind. Joe our salesman was beyond helpful! He wasn t pushy, answered our questions and made the process smooth and easy. The sales manager was beyond helpful and courteous. The finance guy was amazing! The entire process was smooth and painless. By far the BEST experience buying a car. I highly recommend Pearson Mazda! From start to finish, this was honestly a great experience. Once on the lot, we were greeted by Matt who was far from pushy. He let us know he was available if we needed him and was a real asset. When me and my girlfriend had our relaxing search for a vehicle, we decided to test drive one and called on Matt to assist. We loved it but let him know we would be back in a couple weeks to either test another or grab the one we drove. He stated no rush handed us a card, and said whenever we were ready. Came back three weeks later and it was like we never left. We test drove one more but eventually chose the first SUV we drove. I gave him a straight up price that we were looking for as a monthly payment and he hit it right on the mark. We then went to sign the paperwork and greeted by Mike who was also not pushy and extremely helpful. After the paperwork was signed, Matt took us to the SUV and walked us through all the electronics just to make sure we knew what was going on. Start to finish a great experience. I hate spending money but everything went so smooth that this is the first time I ve ever bought a vehicle and didn t feel railroaded or deceived. Pearson Mazda has a solid team with solid values which they all should be proud of. Furthermore, the manager should feel proud of himself/herself for putting together such a team that hits the mark dead-center with customer service.

Decided over the holidays to purchase a Mazda CX-5 which I had test driven a few weeks before. It was during the holidays and I was out of town but Daniel was great at working to get me a great deal and navigating the red tape. Mike in finance was efficient and once the paperwork was done, Daniel (who had come in on his day off) had the car all ready to go. I appreciated that he took the time to walk through all the features so it was set up perfectly when I drove off the lot. Excellent purchase experience!

I just happened to turn onto the street that this dealership is on and I am very happy that I did! I had been to a couple of other dealerships on Broad street that day and I was exhausted by the pushy salesmen that don't even give you space to breathe. When we pulled up I was greeted quickly by Phil. He asked me what was I looking for and a price range and he showed me to the section that fit my needs. Once I narrowed it down to 2 cars, he put a dealer tag on the car and off we went. It was a very clean 2012 Kia Sorento that still looked brand new. During the entire process he was available for questions but gave us enough room to breathe. This means a lot when you are already under the stress and pressure of making a big decision. There was not one question left unanswered during the process. He made me feel very confident in my decision therefore I made my purchase with Pearson Mazda.

Even though I had my own financing through my credit union, the finance guy (in the office on right, sorry I cant remember his name) came in and gave me very good information as far as interest rates and terms. He gave me a lot of good information and did not get offended that I chose to use own credit union.

I am very pleased with my new car. Overall my experience with this dealership was a great one! Make sure to ask for Phil Zblewski because he will definitely work to earn your business.

Pearson made buying a new car easy and enjoyable. I did some research before and knew what I wanted before test driving. I was set up with Joseph for a test drive and loved the car immediately. Joseph made the buying experience easy and personable while following the social distancing rules of the pandemic. I was quickly given a fair price with the fees transparent and then quickly went through financing. I am very happy with the new car and Joseph even called to do a follow up a few days later to make sure I had no questions. I enjoyed the personal experience and would highly recommend Pearson Mazda!

It was a good experience buying the CX 30 from Pearson Mazda. No pressure. Once the test drive was over I was the owner of a new car within two hours. I was confused on why I qualified for the low 1.9 interest rate, but that increase the cost of the car by $500. Which just didn t seem right.

As other reviewers have said, ask for Paul Thrasher in internet sales. And don't be afraid to compare numbers; Paul didn't blink from the competition and provided an aggressive first offer. In fact, the initial dealership we dealt with didn't believe the quote, insisted Pearson was losing too much money and demanded I provide them with a signed estimate and Paul's name before they would match.

We kindly thanked that dealership for making up our mind for us.

Other dealerships were a bit better, but none could match the responsiveness and customer service of Pearson. On some lots, you can feel like you're a bit of a bother. You won't feel that way at Pearson. They truly want your business and we were happy to give it to them.

The Sales Manager, James, went out of his way to accommodate us on details of the car that didn't match our initial request. I think many people are hesitant to negotiate/haggle prices, but James was not offended at all and made it an easy experience.

And Sara Castleman in F&I was very patient with us while we compared numbers on extended warranties.

On roads crowded with CR-Vs, our new 2017 CX-5 GT gets some second looks. How does it drive? I couldn't tell you. My wife has never let me behind the wheel.

This was a my first time buying a car so I was extremely nervous, being a young lady, that I would either be taken advantage of or not taken seriously. I just want to give a shout out to Jay Santiago because he was literally the nicest salesman I have encountered in my entire life and definitely made my car buying experience extremely pleasant. He did a ton of work just to get me the color car I wanted, took me on a cool test drive (not a lame straight highway like most car dealerships would) so I could get a feel for my sporty CX-3. THEN he rushed the car after it arrived (ordered one from another dealership in my desired color) so I could pick it up ASAP. He answered all 3000 of my questions and was extremely patient with me, and did not pressure me whatsoever.

James Balsamo was the sales manager at the time - while I didn't get a ton of interaction with him, I appreciate his flexibility and willingness to get the car I wanted and offered me a very fair price. He was, of course, friendly and very helpful as well!

I was told by more experienced car buyers that the part I should *really* dread about car buying is the financing portion. I'm glad they were wrong! Troy Hernandez, the finance manager, was super welcoming and friendly, tells great stories, and explained warranties/extras in a factual manner without putting pressure on me to purchase them.

All in all, my first real car buying experience was really great with Pearson Mazda. I'm happy I finally upgraded my current Mazda that is over a decade old with the cool new CX3!

Mel Helm was a professional sales person, while at the same time, she was down to earth and put me at ease. She was thorough but not pushy. It was good to talk to a woman, because she pointed out features that were of interest to me. My husband was interested in the mechanics of the car. I was interested in all the bells and whistles. We were both happy with Mel s answers and explanations. We are meeting this week for a more in-depth look at all those bells and whistles.
It was a positive experience, unlike some of my past car negotiations!
