Hotel is really convenient as it s close to central station loma are great. Upon check in I was told breakfast was included and I never intended to use but on the last day when I did try to grab a snack on the go I was told that it wasn t included and I thought ok no big deal. ,I had a restless night on the last night as someone on staff was opening and closing doors at 3-5am which caused me to miss my flight. When I talked to the manager in the morning she was not customer friendly she kept asking why I didn t call the front desk at the time or the disturbance, I didn t call as I was trying to sleep . The last straw was I had to come back to the hotel as I missed my flight the manager offered a drink ticket and a discount and assured me free breakfast ! Well I go into my room I had a do not disturb sign and someone walked into the room 1 hr after I fell asleep, in the morning I checked and once agin no free breakfast. Management (2 of them) are not customer friendly and delivered false promises. On the other hand Seyma in the front desk was very customer friendly always willing to hear my concern, always with a smile if I return to this hotel would be only for Seyma s friendly customer service.

We only visited bar as waiting for dfds transfers. Nice and modern. Clean has live entertainment. Bar. Spa. Right opposite train station too. And all the tram lines.

Unbeatable location, super polite staff and clean, gorgeous room.

Additionally, the reception staff went out of their way to fulfil my request for a birthday treat for my partner and kept it all a surprise, which I really appreciate. It's a great place.

Nothing special...not worth the price, a bit dated and old. Nothing seemed to impress but it did the job, stayed only one night. Stars awarded for the good location but have been to much nicer airbnbs and hotels for a third the price (and a longer trip).

A comfortable hotel in the heart of Amsterdam. 5 steps to the station, canals, 10 to the flower market, the red light district (who cares). Unfortunately, the hotel does not reach the indicated stars.

Picked this hotel due to the location and reviews. How disappointed I was... Arrived to building work taking place in the lobby, had to step over building equipment and bits of wood to get to the lift. Could hear the work taking place from 7:30am every morning and through out the day!
The only lift available in the hotel stopped working and I had no way of getting down to reception due the stairs being blocked off for the building work.
On the last day we was woke up at 7:30 by building works and went down to complained at the desk, the lady explained that all rooms are located away from the noise and that building work doesn't start till 9am, which was a lie as she could hardly hear us complaint at the desk due to the drilling taking place at 8am! She soon realised she was wrong as we showed her the time!
I think it's really disrespectful that a hotel would take your booking and money and not be honest that there are going to be major building works taking place through our your stay. I will not be staying here again.

Very nice hotel. Ideally located, very classy. Access to the top, spacious, clean Spa. The bedding is comfortable. Only downside, the shower overflowing because of a too slow flow.

It was a great experience for me in 2005 I stayed with Philips lighting company KSA team. very friendly hotel staff reasonable rates ,clean and at the heart of Amsterdam. You will find everything around this hotel especially food restaurants etc. Really memorable stay.

Amazing location (opposite to red light district, 4 minutes walking to dam square), in front of central station, friendly staff, welcoming bar and 24H gym.

Room is spacious, toilet is clean, room equipped by Nespresso machine with 6 capsules daily, kettle, mini bar with reasonable price, iron with iron table and safe.

Bed and pillows were comfy, mattress has memory foam layer.

Highly recommended stay.

Best Jazz in town. Bar manager really goes out if his way to make everyone feel welcome, brings in some high quality jazz jams, and does it all again every week. Brilliant stuff. Would definitely come back!

We went for a weekend. Difficult to find any negative point. Everything is there to spend an exceptional moment in a beautiful setting and a very helpful staff.

Lots to like about this place. Clean, well situated outside the central train station, and generally quite comfortable.

I had a bit of a mixed experience. Got to my room to find it hadn't actually be cleaned after the previous guest. Reception offered little apology, and moved me to a tiny shoebox of a room on the fifth floor. Ine, the shining light of a lady on front desk, went out of her way on checkout to make up for the mistake.

If I had to go back to Amsterdam, I'd certainly stay here again.

Victoria is a beautiful hotel with high-quality hotel rooms. Very friendly staff. During my stay I opted for an overnight stay with breakfast service. The breakfast was ample and of good quality. Do you want an outing in Amsterdam and do you want to stay the night? This hotel is a must!

All the pictures from the hotel official web site are to be taken with reserve. Actually only the high price is accurate while accommodation, quality and service are pretty low - all things consider.

Located bang opposite Amsterdam Central station. Strictly non smoking hotel. If caught smoking u wud be charged 300 euros and if caught again u wud be asked to leave in 5 mins.. good breakfast. Access to everything..

Friendly front desk people. GREAT location, e.g., #2 Tram is two blocks away; Vondel Park is two blocks away; bakery is two blocks away; small shops and restaurants are within a 10 minute walk. Very quiet room even though it faced the main street. Very clean. Comfortable bed. I would have given it another star but there were no USB charging ports and the roofline was reflected by the ceiling which blocked easy exit from the East side of the bed in room 528.

Incredible hotel, staff, locations and facilities. Room service is a little bit expensive, as is the minibar, but there is a supermarket 0.2km away, so that is not an issue. Overall great hotel, definitely worth its price

Very nice hotel in sight of Amsterdam Centraal Station. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed, the breakfast buffet was tasty and varied enough to suit all appetites and tastes, the bar offered a wide selection of drinks, and the fitness suite was a good mix of cardio and strength equipment, with a 10 metre pool and sauna the cherry on the fitness cake.

Nice place to chill out with friends. Accessible to restos, shops etc...

Absolutely strategic position, apparently recently renovated building ... however, not a completely positive experience. We had taken the superior king rooms, paying around 350 per night. The rooms were very small .. I asked for the possibility of changing and the staff kindly did it (this goes to their point) giving me another superior class room. In other hotels, at this price, you already have access to a higher standard ... without having to ask for it ...
Just enough cleaning. I've been 2 nights. I found my own hair in the bathroom after cleaning ...
structure full of steps between the corridors ... a continuous up and down not entirely pleasant for those like me who travel with heavy suitcases.
3 stars and not 2 for the great breakfast and comfortable bed.

Very nice hotel, but to access the bathrooms you need the key to the room

Good hotel in an ideal location.
There is a pub and a restaurant, service can be very slow during the day, no problems in the evening.
The checkout at around 12 was really busy and you might find to wait very long, as only half of desks are serving. Just check out earlier to avoid long queue.
Room was specious and had all I would expect. The bathroom could be a bit cleaner (hairs and lime scale in the shower) and would benefit of an addition of a toilet brush.
Bed was very comfortable. The room was quiet, barley could hear the neighbours, however in the morning the only noise I could hear was the cleaner bashing the door on the corridor.

I went for the snipes store, very nice and large store with lots of choices, to see

We stayed here just for two nights, but it was absolutely great! The location can t be better; a stone thrown away from the central station. We also enjoyed the breakfast very much.

Hotel ideally located between neighborhoods to see things to do and the train station !! The standing is good and the pool area very nice

Stayed for 2 nights. Staff very friendly. It's the first building I saw as I walked out of the Central Station, perfect placement for public transport. Very nice hotel and room was nice too. 4 stars as some unpleasant stains on toilet seat cover.

Toilet only for guests? I would consider it no less than a reasonable gesture towards us as Amsterdammers to offer something like this to compensate for what the city's tourism has asked for

Nice rooms, although a bit hard to reach as some of the hotel is built a bit like a maze. The heating wasn't working which was a quite unpleasant. The staff was friendly. Everything was super clean. The location is a huge bonus. The hotel's breakfast buffet really tipped the scale for me.
