Beautiful, luxury place with a friendly staff. Room was perfect. Nice surroundings and swimming pools. The fitness room is very well equipped. Too bad it is not at walking distance from the beach. Fabulous golf field nearby.

Beautiful property! Great hotel. Especially whe the even you are with books out every room so the only people on site are with your group! It was amazing! Food was fantastic! Meetings and meeting spaces were absolutely perfect. Would definitely do it there again everytime if I had a choice in the matter

Update: after waiting two days to hear from them following their comment below I am giving up. I assume they just posted something here to make them look like they care. I lowered the rating to two stars. Plenty of better places to stay.
Luxury is overstatement. We booked room with king bed but got two queens. Our room smelled like ashtray- ppl were smoking cigars there and all smoke was getting in, it was also bit outdated. We called front desk and they first offered us a fan to get rid of the smoke... And when we complained it was getting worse and we will leave they offered us upgraded room. We agreed and they got us identical room three floors above, no upgrade even farther from everything. This time no smell so I guess it is upgrade for them. I guess me moving in middle of stay to exact same room is luxurious experience in OC. The Chrome streaming in rooms where you have to do it through your phone is also an odd choice for a hotel. I would not stay here again.

Excellent to rest and enjoy a warm pool with a beautiful view, but no beach. So close to the sea and at the same time, so far away. The friendliness of the staff, 10 points.

Top notch staff and property . Service and rating as a five star property has not faded from prior visits. Beautiful grounds and holiday decorations add ambiance to this great resort in a great so cal location.

Excellent treatment since we arrived at the airport. Always greeted and pampered. Facilities including tennis courts and gulf course were top notch. Fine dining and last but not least their rooms were always impeccable. We never received a NO for an answer, their staff was extremely professional and attentive. The rooms extremely clean and very comfortable, plenty of green areas well kept and fabulously colorful.

I understand being under construction- but this hotel has to by far be the worst experience I have ever had. Don t even bother getting on the WiFi. Dial up is more reliable and probably more useful since you have to step outside of the hotel to have ANY service. The staff is great but doesn t make up for what the hotel lacks.

You would be crazy to stay anywhere else in the area. Cannot recommend PHA enough, the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful post-renovation, and the facilities are clean, well-kept, and well-managed. Pacific Point is some of the best food I have had at any hotel, and Willy and the staff make every meal a fantastic experience. Chef Blais'' Ember and Rye will of course be a great addition as well and the golf course is beautiful and well-maintained. Absolutely 5/5.

One of my favorite Park Hyatt. The room was spacious and clean. You can see the golf course and Pacific Ocean in the balcony.

We had an excellent stay at the Park Hyatt Aviara Resort. it is a very nice hotel with multiple dining options that were really good. Even if you wanted to go somewhere else in the area at the hotel is located close enough to the highway as well as downtown Carlsbad to go out and enjoy yourself. The golf course is also very nice and challenging with scenic views along the way.

The only criticism that I would have is one night they knocked on our door for turndown service at 9:45pm - which was a little late. The parking and Resort fee also increase your room rates quite a bit but not anything out of the ordinary for other hotels in the area.

Classy, upscale place w five star service. Facility is getting a bit rough around a few edges but the staff is standing ready to make it right. Great lobby bar. Many things to do here that I missed but am told by locals are pretty nice. Running here is a challenge w some solid hills for this flat lander.

What a beautiful hotel! What a peaceful setting with a breathtaking view. The food was fantastic. We live locally however it is a real pleasure to just get away and stay in a luxury hotel without getting on a plane The beds were heavenly, the staff was always there and responsive and the food was awesome.

I could not think of a better way to recharge the batteries.

I recommend it to anyone who wants the finer things in live and feels like they need a little pampering.

Great! Upscale place with great food, great rooms, and great views. Golf course is awesome, and I give this place an A+ review. At the pool, we rented the deluxe cabana with a fan and mini fridge. Great for 4th of July, which is when I stayed. Buffet and band was great, and fireworks even better!

Great service and location but hotel needs a little more TLC for the class and price.

I went here for a work event. The resort was very beautiful and the staff was very helpful and professional. The food was delicious.

Everything was pristine. We only had a few drinks on site but didn't eat there (although one night we did ubereats and enjoyed dinner in the game room). The pool and pool service were great too.

This is one of the best golf courses in San Diego County. The setting is superb. The condition of the course is excellent. It has a wonderful variety of holes that will challenge and inspire.

Amazing!! We love Park Hyatts for the friendly staff and great service. Rooms are great, as well as the hot tub. Weren't able to use the pools unfortunately due to the uncooperative weather. The hotel itself seemed rather empty, especially for a holiday weekend, but that was probably good for us and our little one. The property is very big and beautiful!

Excellent. Everything was excellent, from customer service to quality of food and the rooms themselves, absolutely wonderful.

I loved the food and good views! The rooms were all nice and I specifically liked the game room! I would definitely recommend this to a friend!

Visited this venue on multiple occasions, as we have somewhat of a comfortable flight from Seattle during the Spring. Ive found this Hyatt (similarly to most of its kind) to be exceedingly satisfying, with many activities and warm lounges. Distant from the intense city yet offering such an exciting and luxurious atmosphere. The many seemingly 'hidden' gardens that populate the hillside and courtyards enchant me, especially if attempting to source time alone. Highly recommend if one can afford multiple days.

We have traveled in many countries and all over the U.S. and this is some of the best service we have ever received. We cannot recommend this resort highly enough.

Room was nice. Bed and pullout comfortable. Linens decor was modern and high end. No detail is spared in service all staff and personnel was friendly and accommodating. Room service was overpriced and undertasty so if I could rate that separate that would get a 1.5 and again only because the staff was superb. The pool deck was extremely slippery which makes it super unsafe when your toddler breaks free and you have to catch them before they end up slipping which then causes you to slip, fall, and break a bone. Splash pad was nonoperating but unsure if related to family movie night or just simply a disconnected feature. Would definitely stay again.. oh and be sure to enjoy the complimentary Arnold palmers in the afternoons by the front desk they are Delish!

The room was exquisite! We had a balcony over looking the courtyard. The view of the ocean from the Gran Room was breath taking! The staff were very kind and went above and beyond the call of duty!!

Spoil Me Sunday Spa Day Yes, a morning of facials, massage, jacuzzi, sauna, hair treatment day and tea time. Found my favorite planter and a eucalyptus shower spray mist for home relaxation.
YES I total recommend this spot for a ladies get away. Amazing gym too. Great property for a 2 mile walk.

No complaints whatsoever! The amenities are 5 star, rooms spacious, clean, comfortable beds, and luxuriously appointed. All employees from reservations, to wait staff to housekeeping were extremely kind, considerate, and accommodating. The grounds are exquisite, food 1st class. Just a wonderful place to stay!

Beautiful hotel with great restaurants and world class golf courses. Always very friendly, helpful service. Of course they have a spa as well as massage services in the room.

This is the location for a number of important golf tournaments so the hotel can get busy. If you're going here to golf it's best to check the schedule and reserve a spot ahead of time. The is valet parking which is free if you're busy going to one of the restaurants.

Amenities were good, rooms were beautiful and clean.

My wife and I have stayed here several times. It is an excellent property with a high quality facility and amenities. One way to judge a property is whether it can respond properly to a problem. On our visit last week, we had an encounter with a front office manager who did not respond appropriately to a request. In response, Simone at the front desk was particularly kind, without making any comment about her superior's actions. We then explained the situation to General Manager via an email sent late on Saturday night. The next morning, the General Manager appeared to meet us at the golf course for our early morning tee time. He was gracious in addressing the situation. We were very impressed with his efforts and attitude.

After being given not one unclean room but two my wife and I decided to check out and stay somewhere else. We have stayed there in the past and it was great, we are not sure what was the reason for this problem but are uncertain to return because of it.

Beautiful property, clean, great service. Only complaint is that the bed was not as comfortable as you'd expect. Mattress too soft, and bed covering too thin.

We golfed a three group, beautiful weather, course is hard! But fun would do again that's for sure And cookies as you go to tee box 1 is perfect!
