We had an excellent stay at the Park Hyatt Aviara Resort. it is a very nice hotel with multiple dining options that were really good. Even if you wanted to go somewhere else in the area at the hotel is located close enough to the highway as well as downtown Carlsbad to go out and enjoy yourself. The golf course is also very nice and challenging with scenic views along the way.

The only criticism that I would have is one night they knocked on our door for turndown service at 9:45pm - which was a little late. The parking and Resort fee also increase your room rates quite a bit but not anything out of the ordinary for other hotels in the area.
