We did the tour to the Cliffs of Moher .. Awesome. We did it in English, and the guide was amazing: funny, with a sense of humor, entertaining ... The great cliffs, and all the other perfect places. The only thing is that it seems that you are running, because you are going with the right time, but I understand it.

Went on the four day southwestern Ireland tour with Rory and Freddie. Five stars for both of those lads. They were fantastic. Informative and funny. They knew their stuff.

I started out the tour with Rory and met up with Freddie to join the six day tour already in progress for the last four days of their tour. Even though I was the latecomer, Freddie and the rest of the tour group made me feel welcome. There were 5 of us joining and he welcomed each one of us to the tour.

Freddie also made sure we had fun nighttime experiences we could partake in every night and tried to give us as much time as possible in the major spots. He also arranged for us to hold some baby lambs and feed them! It was the cutest moment of the tour. My favorite nighttime activity was a piano bar in Killarney. It was so much fun! I really enjoyed this tour and the fact that Freddie created a great vibe. He also did regular checks to see how we were and if we needed toilet stops. If anyone said yes, he took care of it. The tour group itself was also amazing. Couldn t have asked for a better group of people to travel with in Ireland. They were a major part of the great vibe as well. People were so go with the flow , I loved it. We also joked around like a family. Haha

I should also mention that Freddie tried his best to help everyone with excursions and the like. He also dropped people off at the airport at the end if they were flying out. I really enjoyed this tour is what I m saying.

Rory was fantastic as well. I laughed so har but also learned a lot of the history of Ireland. It was only one day but I m sure he is awesome on longer tours as well. He also gave us photo opportunities of beautiful scenery around the midlands and on our way to Galway.

I do have to say that the bed and breakfast in Killarney was not great. We stayed in many lovely bed and breakfasts through the tour and this was the only one I really didn t like. I won t go into detail but let s just say I felt like the room was a punishment.

All in all this was a great tour experience and I would recommend it to anyone. It s affordable and the guides/drivers are top notch!

A good day out, unfortunately the rope bridge was closed (not Paddywagons fault). Could have done with more time at rope bridge and Giants causeway for the amazing scenery, this could have been achieved by missing out the hour in Belfast as this was not enough time to actually do anything apart from have coffee. Would I go with Paddywagon tours again? the answer would be yes definitely

Frank was a great tour guide. Funny and informative. Several times rude ppl were late making us run behind a bit but that was not his fault. I would have left them, but Frank was very patient. We did the 2 day tour and stayed at the Bed and Breakfast... Very clean and quiet. Great breakfast included. My only complaint is with the other ppl on the tour. But the tour company is great.

Amazing tour of Northern Ireland with the Giant's Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede and Belfast. Darren, our guide and driver, was extremely funny, knowledgeable and explained us about The Troubles with great passion. I totally recommend this tour!
To those who complain about drivers being strict with the schedule: it's a 30-40(?) people tour, if everybody acted however they wanted it would be chaos.

Husband and I went on Paddywagon s Northern Irelan...

Husband and I went on Paddywagon s Northern Ireland tour today. While we were having a nice time, the bus made its last stop in Belfast (about two hours away from Dublin). There was a miscommunication - Val, our driver, said to meet at the bus at 6:20 pm. We heard incorrectly and thought the bus was leaving at 6:30. We arrived to the arranged stop at 6:26. Bus was gone.

I will wholeheartedly admit that we were SIX minutes late. It was a miscommunication. The bus was loud. We didn t hear correctly when he announced it. But we had multiple stops before then where people showed up three minutes, sometimes five, past the set time. We had already spent 10 hours with our group of 35-people at this point. It was not a full bus. We were sitting up towards the front, engaging with the others on the somewhat small group tour as well as our driver.

We were in complete shock. We received no call from our driver. Again, I understand we were six minutes late. But wow. We were respectful, always early to come back to the bus (we were SIX minutes late!!!). We even still had belongings on the bus! We called the company and asked if he could please contact our driver (it was 6:27 at this time). It had been a couple minutes without a call back, so we called again. Hoping maybe our cellphones weren t working (explaining why we never got a call from Val saying he was going to be leaving us there) - but nope! They worked just fine!

The company got back to us and basically said oh well . Not even a sorry. We had a tour booked with them for tomorrow and said we would like to cancel it. To which they said we could cancel our tour, but would receive no refund.

After a two hour taxi ride, we are still in shock that this happened all because of a miscommunication. The lack of customer service we experienced was unreal. It pains me to write this because of the positive start to the day but I truly would not recommend this company. I have heard some things about people being unhappy with their services and I wish I would ve booked through a different company. I hope they re-think how they treat their customers.

EDIT: reading other reviews on Trip Advisor, it appears that MANY others have gotten left behind as well! Trips cancelled due to weather, overbooked buses and STILL not receiving refunds! When will this company start to care about customer service?!

Great Day in Connemara and Galway tour. The driver was really sympatic and funny. I just thought that we will have more stop around the Connemara lake. That's just the negative point. Except it, the rest was nice.

This was a highlight of our trip! We happened to go on the tour during hurricane Lorenzo and our tour guide did everything to make sure this was still the best tour! He got us there with enough time to see everything at the cliffs and took us to a castle to make up for the cliffs closing early. It was honestly such an incredible adventure! I truly could not recommend this tour company any more! Next time we go back to Ireland we will absolutely be using this company again! The ease of booking and the instructions for the whole day were absolutely seamless. Thank you paddy wagon tours, you really gave us a memory to last a lifetime!!

Considering the price and the fact that it is a three days trip, I really enjoyed it! Although I think it could have been better, I'm glad I took part of this trip since I'm spending little time in Ireland. Don't expect too much though, the schedule provided on the website isn't completely followed (we only stayed in Derry for the walking tour in the evening and we spent the night in another town for instance) but that was good craic and the driver was nice. If you're a broke student, it's a good opportunity.

Took two tours from Dublin to Northern Ireland in late February. Loved my driver for both (Darrin) who was very informative and fun. Enjoyed the sights of the Giants Causeway, Dunluce Castle, Dark Hedges, Belfast, etc. Slightly disappointed in the Black Cab Tour in Belfast (not a Paddywagon Tour - it is separate) but appreciated all the info my tour driver provided. Bus was on time, comfortable and clean. There is wifi and usb ports on the bus to keep you connected and charged (wifi doesn't always work in NI). Driver kept us well entertained and informed all along the way. Would tour with them again.

We did two tours (a day and a two day tour) and both were very good in terms of route and you saw everything you have to see :) one driver was a bit too terse (we don't even know his name) but the second (Shawn) was great! Friendly, funny and knew a lot.
Overall, highly recommended.

I really enjoyed the trip from Belfast to the Giant's Causeway on Thursday. Frank, our guide, was funny and very informative, and Sharon, our fourth generation guide at the Causeway was excellent. Going with Paddywagon Tours really added to my day out. They made it fun as they brought us along the beautiful Antrim coast to the Causeway, the rope bridge, the Dark Hedges of Game of Thrones fame, an excellent lunch stop and the three wonderful bays at the Causeway. The Interpretive Centre at the Causeway is truly a magical building designed by our very own Dublin architects Heneghan Peng - a privilege to see and enjoy, and...... Paddywagon Tours even managed to supply wonderful sunshine.

We went on tour to Wicklow gap/Glendalough/Kilkenny. The views were amazing, bus very comfortable. Our tour guy, Chris, was very entertaining, told us great stories on the way, even my mum had good time listening to him even tho, she doesn't speak English. And the price was great as for all day trip.

This was such a good experience (Blarney Castle Day Trip). Our guide was the best part of the tour. In my sons words "the guide made the trip. He had as much fun as us." Strong words from a 20 year old. Fun and informative. Made us want to go wiki all of his facts to learn even more. (Google: don donnelly arm Ireland). We will definitely go on another day trip with them tomorrow.

The bus was 40 minutes late. This accompanied with stop for breakfast meant we had done nothing for an hour and half. Tour guide/driver despite this was abrupt and hurried which ruined the experience. We only had scarce opportunisties for photos at key places like Connemara- no stopovers at this majestic sight. Instead we were left for 2 hours to wander around the centre of Galway- no where near the scenic places. I understand Galway is far from Dublin city center but having paid a substantial amount, it did not suffice nor seemed worth it. Guide/driver was more interested in telling us about local pubs rather then interesting facts about Connemara which was a pity.

Our tour was EPIC. Bryan Karwin was our guide, and he made sure to share best places to eat, see and enjoy along every portion of the trip. I learned so much about the history and people of Ireland, and I will keep these memories with me forever. We had 24 guests total, and everyone became fast friends. I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to learn and enjoy Ireland from the local view. Be prepared to walk a bit, and to move fast to see all the things. So so good.

The most absolutely despicable customer service of anything I've ever heard. Driver was the most unsympathetic individual I've ever come across. Our daughter got car sick and he refused to be of any assistance in helping her move to a more forward seat to get out of the back of the bus. Bus left late, and got lost. Expedition is nothing like described with charm. 0 stars. Use someone else!!

Our guide and driver was absolutely wonderful. I was traveling with my girlfriend and her parents (both of her parents were mobility bound). Our guide was so accommodating and helpful with our party. He was funny, informative and made the most of our time at each site. Thank you for being so pleasant and I will be recommending your company to anyone who is thinking of a tour guide/company. I look forward to our next trip and using your services. All the best from the Sanchez/Gerbush Family.

I wouldnt recommend this tour bus as i was told to be At 7 10 on a specific address, when i went there At The time i was told there was a lot of people And a lot of buses, i asked one by one if they were with paddywagon (was hard to find The bus drivers to ask them as they were apparently playing hide And seek with The people...), every one of them told me that The bus next to them was The one i was looking for And of course none of them was So i wasted my time asking one by one, as none of them had a sign or anything indicating which tour they were, And The only visible paddywagon tourbus was parked And wasnt working And The bus driver told us he was going to help us find it, he lied. Paddywagon buses arrived And we asked them about our tour And said The bus had already left And it was late And he lied about The price saying that The cliffs of moher And The giant causeways (our planned tour) had The same price (giant was $60 And cliffs was $40...). A lot of desorganization And rudeness And neglection towards lost And confussed customers. Don't go with paddywagon.

We went for the Cliffs of Moher tour and our guide Jimmy was amazing! He was very informative of the history and culture of Ireland and he was pretty funny as well. The day was packed but we had enough time to do and see everything, as well as enjoy what we wanted. I definitely recommend this tour and more over if you can do the 12/13 person one since the van was very spacious and it was more enjoyable to take pictures where you wanted.

First group tour I've ever taken. I prefer to plan and execute my own travels but, due to time and the whole left-hand-of-the-road thing, I decided to let someone else handle the logistics. It was wonderful! My 10 year old and I loved it! It was a fun, yet educational ride, with Gavin at the wheel, explaining everything very clearly and cracking very poor jokes, which is amusing in itself. Our bus had a mechanical issue and we arrived to find a replacement bus to take us to the next destination, where we would meet back up with the original bus after it was checked out. Minor glitch that had zero effect on us. Great tour! I will definitely use them again.

I took this tour January 26th, 2018. A group of the three friends and myself signed up for the Blarney Castle tour. This tour was an amazing experience! The bus we were in was very modern and even had USBs to charge our phone throughout traveling. Our driver, Paul, was also amazing. he was very knowledgable and told us plenty of stories throughout the tour and would also suggest things to do as we stopped throughout the day. I would definitely do this again and would look for Paul, though I'm sure everyone that works for the tours is amazing as-well.

We have used Paddywagon tours on several occasions in Ireland. The driver/guides are wonderful. My only suggestion would be for the tour company to give a 'handout', before the tour begins, highlighting the must-sees in each location. For example, we were dropped off in Cork for a couple of hours. It was suggested we go to the Market which is in the middle of the shopping district. We weren't there to shop but didn't know where else to go. Once back on the bus we drove by sights that we didn't even know were there that we could easily have visited.

Our driver Dermot was brilliant. There was just the right amount of time in each place - Cashel Castle, Blarney Castle and Cork with a couple of bathroom breaks. It's was an enlightening trip over the history of the country and what they faced in the last decades. The bus was comfortable, the bus driver kind and funny and the Titanic experience is a must-have. My only suggestions are:
- sharing the driver's number with the passengers in case someone gets lost (they will!!!)
- have a 5-10 mins session before the ride to people know each other. Sole travelers can enjoy much better with trip friends
- Provide the bus location in Belfast - by e-mail or paper flyer
- Consider extending the Titanic visit for more 30-45 mins. 2hs isn't enough to enjoy everything

My friend and I were on the 3 day Northern Ireland tour. We saw a lot and our tour guide/driver (Malcolm) was very knowledgeable. The tour in Derry was fantastic and the Black Taxi tours really opened my eyes to the struggles of the past. It was also nice how Malcolm only recommended places to eat that he had eaten at. The B&Bs we stayed at were comfortable and clean.

Timing was great, the guide is very considerate about what people want to see and making sure they have the good amount of time for doing so. The tour was nice and well organized, however we didn't have enough time for a long explore. As the cliffs are wide and there's a lot to look at and take photos we could have spent at least 3 hours there, but due to the schedule, we only had around 1,5 which is definitely not enough.
Still a great experience though, worth a visit even in October.

Would highly recommend the 2 day Dingle and Kerry tour to anyone looking for a nice weekend get away. The tour drivers are very funny and add a nice element to the experience. The first day seeing the Ring of Kerry and Killarney was splendid. We got enough time to see all the sights. We went out for a day trip to the Cliffs of Moher with our leader Val OBrien for the day on Sunday. It started out a bit rainy and foggy but as we drove out the skies cleared and the sun poked out . Our guide was THE best! Val kept us informed and entertained. As we drove across the countryside Val had us all warmed up and singing like we had been drinking buddies for years. Stops were nicely spaced out with noted points of interest that I am sure to have missed without Val giving us the inside scoop.

Val has an amazing sense of humor and believe it or not was a good singer too!

By the end of the day we were back in Dublin and sorry to have to leave our new friends and leader Val(entine). The trip was excellent and highly recommend Paddy Wagon and Val for anyone looking for a great tour of Ireland!

They canceled my tour due to the covid-19, and it is acceptable since they are not responsible for the pandemic. The rproblem is when they treat the customer in a very bad way. I thought the Paddywagon tour was fantastic and defiantly worth the money for everything that you see. My brother and I did the backpacking option and stayed in hostels along the way which proved to be great, along is to meet fantastic individuals not only on our tour. I highly recommend doing more than just the one day tour, as you see so much of the countryside. Prepare for a lot of driving, however, and try to get to know the people in the tour group early on. We had a hard time deciding on Paddywagon, due to some bad comments here. But I must say that it is 100% recommended, we went to the office to book our Cliff of Moher tour, and then the next day we were there at 07:30 am to take the bus. The trip to the west side of Ireland is quite long, 4 hours approx, so the visit times are a little limited, but really worth it, we walk through very beautiful landscapes, castles, lots of wildlife, and obviously the Cliffs of Moher. The guide and driver as the journey progresses tells a lot about the history of Ireland, and that makes seeing the places with much more interest. I recommend you comply with the departure times that the driver-guide advises, this so that the experience is really good. Finally we returned to Dublin around 7:30 - 8:00 pm approx. Wonderful day trip to Cliffs of Mother. Bus was comfortable, guide was funny and full of stories of Irish history. Enjoyed the trip. The last part of the trip of about a 2:15hr drive without a stop was the only downer. Otherwise a great way to get a feel for Ireland in a day.
