sure not out to help ANYBODY, except pushing cases through to meet deadlines to get their money. SERIOUSLY the whole system designed to "help" kids really needs help themselves... Loose CSB all together, revamp child support, and change some of the laws to suit and fit the times! Next these women controlling situations that are out of control, and courts are blind to it need to be held accountable for alienating children from other parent. Furthermore, women giving birth to child addicted to ANYTHING, or die within first 2 years due to neglect during pregnancy should be charged with crime! Women and children have WAY too much power over courts that make poor decisions. When courts cause injury emotional, or mental, they too should be held accountable! PISS POOR PLANNING!

Whoever works the front desk(skinny white lady with glasses) needs to take a class on proper etiquette and how to deal with people in that high stress setting. I don't know if she realizes that people coming to that place to see about their children are already on edge...Then you have to deal with this condensending,smug,smartass... Over a pen needed to fill out a form was very rude about it. Like she was doing me some huge favor for letting me use her pen. Mind you i had one in the car but forgot cuz i was nervous and didn't know what to expect Simply because dealing with the courts over not seeing your kids is stressful. You never know what to expect dealing with them... What i didn't expect is to be treated like some criminal over a pen... For all the money yall take from folks u would think a pen to fill out an important paper wouldn't be that big of a deal.. I just wanted to let everyone know how corny and petty that was.. And of course they couldn't help me with my issue either... But she got her pen back at least.

Mr. Broaddus saved this review. My daughter was a resident of Summit County, OH. Due to an abusive and neglectful living arrangement- she had found herself in some trouble.
I felt very ignored by this agency, but Mr. Broaddus eventually did listen to us. He has saved my daughter from a pretty serious domestic abuse charge.
My only complaint with this agency does not lie with Mr. Broaddus. This agency should better investigate the circumstances leading up to a criminal charge. There are absolutely circumstances beyond the control of a juvenile that can lead to an arrest.
A battered woman often fights back. Eventually- so might a juvenile.
Thank you, Mr. Broaddus for hearing us out.

They don't answer the phone, they don't return calls, they are unconcerned with your situation. I have tried to contact this court several times for a POA that I had filled out and filed and I still not heard anything. Very poor customer service very disappointing. I'm going to have to physically walk in there just to get an answer which we all know is a COVID 19 risk

Summit County Court Of Common Pleas Juvenile Division: Providing Justice and Rehabilitation for Youth Offenders

Welcome to the Summit County Juvenile Court website, where justice and rehabilitation are at the forefront of our mission. As the Juvenile Court Judge, I am honored to serve our community and ensure that youth offenders who enter the juvenile justice system receive proper programming and guidance to turn their lives around.

At Summit County Court Of Common Pleas Juvenile Division, we believe that punishment alone is not enough. Our court seeks ways to introduce rehabilitation programs that can help children become productive members of society. We understand that every child is unique, with different backgrounds, experiences, and challenges. Therefore, we provide individualized attention to each case in order to determine what will work best for each child.

Our court has a team of professionals who are dedicated to providing comprehensive services for youth offenders. We have probation officers who work closely with children on probation or parole supervision. They monitor their progress in school or employment while also ensuring they comply with court orders.

We also have social workers who provide counseling services for children and families involved in our court system. They help identify underlying issues such as mental health problems or substance abuse disorders that may be contributing factors in a child's delinquent behavior.

Moreover, we offer educational programs designed specifically for youth offenders such as anger management classes or drug education courses aimed at preventing future criminal behavior.

Our goal is not only to hold these children accountable but also give them an opportunity to learn from their mistakes so they can lead successful lives after leaving our system.

In addition to providing rehabilitation programs for youth offenders, Summit County Court Of Common Pleas Juvenile Division also handles cases involving abused or neglected children through its dependency division. Our dependency division works closely with social service agencies such as Children Services Board (CSB) and other community organizations dedicated towards protecting vulnerable children from harm.

We understand how difficult it can be when a family is going through tough times; therefore we strive towards finding solutions that will keep families together whenever possible while ensuring the safety of all parties involved.

At Summit County Court Of Common Pleas Juvenile Division, we take pride in being part of a larger community effort aimed at reducing juvenile delinquency rates by providing effective interventions tailored towards individual needs rather than just punishment alone.

Conclusion

Summit County Court Of Common Pleas Juvenile Division provides comprehensive services aimed at rehabilitating youth offenders while holding them accountable for their actions. Our team of professionals works tirelessly towards finding solutions tailored towards individual needs rather than just punishment alone.
We believe every child deserves an opportunity to turn their life around regardless of past mistakes; therefore we offer educational programs designed specifically for youth offenders such as anger management classes or drug education courses aimed at preventing future criminal behavior.
