Gabriel gave a great tour encompassing both modern and more remote history. Blarney Castle has beautiful gardens and exploring the caves underneath it will probably be one of the highlights of my cruise.

The day trip was great. I just wished we had a longer time to spend in each stop. We left at 10 am and arrived back at Belfast around 4 pm. Our guide Richard was strict when it comes to time and talking , but he had a great sense of humour. He made the tour more enjoyable with the songs/music he played along the way and aptly connecting it to what he was saying! Good job Richard!
Awesome experience, great organization. The tours were great from start to finish. They stayed on schedule (not easy) covered everything we hoped to, didn't let roug weather ruin the fun and loaded us down with fun jokes and history. Very pleased with the whole experience
Excellent tour. We were guided by Dominic who was very knowledgeable and helpful and who made the experience an excellent one altogether. I would highly recommend it to any considering a tour to see the Giant's Causeway among other places.
Our cruise ship had a stop in Cork/Cobh. We tried to book a private tour with a few other couples, but there seemed to be nothing available when we tried to book. Fortunately, we found Paddywagon Tours. The bus driver/tour guide met about 25 of us just a few hundred feet from the ship, and we were one of the first groups to depart. The first stop was the Blarney Castle. Even though it was early in the morning, there was already a wait of almost an hour to kiss the Blarney Stone. Most of the group passed on this "opportunity" but a few people did participate. The rest of the group wandered the gardens around the caste or shopped in the Woolen Mills. We then traveled to Kinsale, a lovely village with many shops and great restaurants. Finally, the bus returned to the cruise terminal, passing through Cork without a stop. To be honest, I think we spent too much time at Blarney Castle; I would have preferred to see more of Cork, perhaps on foot. The driver/guide was a real professional, regaling us throughout the trip with stories and songs. Overall a good trip, but I would recommend less time at the castle.
I can highly recommend Paddywagon Tours. I have done two tours so far - Glendalough & Belfast - both were very good and informative. The two tour guides John & Michael were great as well. I will be looking forward to go on more tours.
I like it. During the trip the man was comented a lot of things, about the landscape, the village, the history, when and where can take photos,... I was very entertaining and interested.
I had a terrible experience with this company. I am from India and I was booked by tour opetator named Sam Browne for Cliff of Mohar and Galway tour on 09 Nov 2019. I explained him the situation that I have to reach Dublin airport around 7.30 pm and I can take a trip back to Dublin by my own from Galway. He agreed to charge me 35 euros (original tour is 45 euros) and stated I can safely reach Galway around 5 pm and then I can head back to Dublin.
Then comes the tour day and I was informed by the bus driver named Jacquie that he could not take this pressure of making sure I reach to Galway by 5.15 pm (this was the time I had a citylink bus back to dublin) and had arranged another bus driver who can drop me at Dublin around 7.45 pm.
The second bus driver charged me extra 15 euros in addition to 35 euros (and i also paid 17 euros as per advise from Jacquie for citylink bus). Also the attitude of the bus driver was not good towards me. He was very rude.
In the end, this was not expected at all from the best tour company of Dublin and trip has become way more expensive for me. I need my refund back of 32 euros of extra charges I paid in addition to 35 euros.
This was a lovely tour. We had a very long day but our driver FRANK was amazing! He kept us super entertained, busy, and awake. FRANK told us so much Irish history that when we went to the museum we felt we knew most of the information. Our tour was in a very nice sunny day and FRANK took us to every place within a very relaxed time interval. Although it is a long and stressful day we were given a good amount of time in each place and almost never felt as rushed as we were expecting. Furthermore, FRANK was super helpful and willing to go beyond his day work just so that we would have a great experience. I would definitely recommend this if you do not have the time to stay and spend 2 days on this type of trip.
Clean, comfortable bus. Interesting activities. Clean and comfortable B and B's. Driver's jokes corny but he grew on us. Only problem: no toilets on buses. On tour driver stopped frequently but at end we had a long shuttle back to Dublin and, after a couple of pints before leaving, it became agony. Be warned.
This was my first tour with the company, snd I can't fault it at all! I had a friend visiting from the US who wanted to see the Cliffs of Moher (of course) so we decided to go for a day trip from Limerick. The tour guide, a fellow Kerryman, was everything you want from a guide: enthusiastic, informative, humorous and friendly. The extra stops along the way at Doolin, a bit of the Burren and Bunratty castle were all great bonuses of the tour, with my only real complaint being that more time at each of those would have been nice. However, given the tour was 8 hours long as or was, there wasn't alot of time to spare to be fair. Would highly recommend to tourists from abroad, as well as Irish tourists as a much needed reminder of our county's beauty is always welcome.
An amazing experience with the best irishman of the world, John. Don't hesitate, book this incredible adventure and during a day, discover the wonders of Ireland in great company."
It s been 18 months since I got involved and tried to book a tour with you.. 18 months later I haven t had my tour, many emails later and even a physical drop in to your hostel in Dublin (where I was promised it would be raised with your manager and sorted out ASAP)..
Nothing has been done, not even an email in response to my visit. I came to see you guys in Dublin on the 18th Feb.
All I want is my deposit back as I have been messed around by your company since day 1.
You ve forced me to go public but I have been VERY patient with your company so far. I m not even in the U.K. anymore and I really wanted to do your tour before I left.
Please give me my money back or I will be taking this higher.
And a warning to others to be very wary of booming with this company at travel shows with a deposit rather than their online system.
We did the half day Glendalough tour. I'd recommend the full day as this one was very rushed and you'll be more in the bus than in nature. Also better to not take the Mollie statue pickup point as the bus was full at that time and we didn't get proper seats, also the bus cannot return there for the drop-off. Unfortunately the airco / fresh air was not working so we would sit in a sweaty cramped bus. The Glendalough lakes are worth it, we walked around the upper lake to the beach at the lower lake and saw the waterfall. Quite nice nature and interesting stories by the tour guide.
I loved The giant's causeway tours, we were greeted by Valentine O'Brian (VAL) he was very happy and fun, he kept us informed of our destinations and gave us history lessons with humor for us keep engaged and entertained. I highly recommend Paddywagon tours. Thank you Val for a good day.
Terrific tour - take in the Irish countryside from the well appointed coach and an entertaining driver - all in one day - value for money and a wonderful experience.
I had an amazing time on my four day tour with Paddywagon. I ended up in such a great group of people, and the tour guide, Rory, was absolutely amazing... knowledgeable, has cultivated a lot of great relationships with people in all the places we stopped, didn t rush us from one place to the next, and he spent some time hanging out with the group after hours (which a lot of guides don t do, and aren t usually expected to do, but it s nice to have someone to show you around and recommend good pubs and restaurants). Will certainly be booking with Paddywagon again when I m back in Ireland... and thanks to Rory and the amazingly warm people here, will certainly be back in Ireland. Great experience
Myself and four friends went on the day tour to The Cliffs from Dublin with Dominic as our driver. The entire tour was outstanding and our driver was awesome! Very knowledgeable and entertaining!!
My daughter and I loved the tour. Tiernan our driver was great. So informative funny and handsome . We are taking another tour in Doublin tomorrow of the Cliffs of Moher. Really looking forward to it!
Horrible condition of the bus. no charging port, chaos of mixed tours. Unprofessional driver. Ended up back late and almost didnt come home as they threw us to other buses that were full. Never again! Go to another tour company but not paddy wagon
We did the three day tour of southern Ireland and were very happy with it. Our driver (Daniel) was fantastic, very courteous and knowledgeable, and the pace of the trip was good considering how much ground we covered. Legroom on the bus is limited but seats are otherwise comfortable. The hostel the first night in Galway was great, very clean and well run, but the hostel on the second night wasn't so great - not very clean, not nearly as much attention to detail as the first night. Regardless, the experience the second night in the small village in Annascaul is memorable - very friendly people and good food. Overall a very good experience, definitely recommend it!
A very good tour to learn about Irish history while having fun on the bus with the driver's jokes. Unfortunately, 2h can be a bit tight to kiss the blarney stone, especially if there are 2 cruise ships docked in Cobh leading to long queues. However the gardens around the castle definitely make up for it.
The driver of the bus is very bad tempered, extremely unfriendly and guess what HD us even racist.... He literally did not want to wait for 1 minute during a toilet stopover for an Indian man, although his friend was begging the driver to wait for just 1 min. He also threatened the other Indian guy to shut up or else will throw him out of the bus. Ironically, he had no problem to wait for other 2 Canadian ladies who were lost and drop them over to their mist convenient spot. If you can't wait a minute then thus should be for every one.
Even worse, the driver kept making fun of the English and the Spanish and blaming the English to ruin the world, and stating that spainsh are very loud people... No respectable person will say so especially a tourist bus driver... Never again using your service.... I used other companies before and the driver was way more better than yours
