This is a great deal! You really get to experience...
This is a great deal! You really get to experience the Irish culture as well as all the important sights on the tour. The bus driver was helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend!

I took a Small Group Tour to Giant's Causeway and Belfast. There were only 10 of us and the van was really nice and comfortable. Our driver and guide's name was Richard - he was great! I loved hearing his stories and experiences mixed in with history as we made our way to Giant's Causeway/Belfast. I opted for the Black Taxi Tour in Belfast and that was really interesting and probably one of my favorite experiences on my short visit to Northern Ireland. My only suggestion for these Small Tours is to get rid of the video that the driver shows to/from the destination. It's more interesting to listen to the guides or to just enjoy some silence and gaze at the passing landscape. The passengers are not looking for constant entertainment (or maybe I'm the exception?) and the videos felt really dated plus they were hard to hear. Otherwise, I'm really glad I paid extra for a Small Group tour. Richard was exceptional and it was a great experience.
Our driver was wonderful. Very charismatic and went above and beyond for us!
James was the absolute perfect tour guide and his knowledge of the area and history and personal insights made the trip extra special. Would highly recommend
The driver, DARREN, informed us of some very interesting history that we were incorrectly told in school. He was funny, attentive, and very on time. I love how he kept a tight schedule and was firm with the people that continuously held everyone up at each stop. He gave us tips about each stop, which was very useful. He gave us history about the amazing country. He played amazing music and told funny or not so funny jokes. Either way, DARREN was an amazing tour guide!
Our trip to the Cliffs was fantastic!!!
Our driver Darrin was hilarious and should get a raise for having to deal with some of the "less smart" guests.
Will totally recommend this to all my friends and family.
Interesting tours, great drivers, who provide a lot of information and stories!!!
so fun! i would definitely recommend :-) Richard our driver was great
Amazing tour to Cliffs of Moher! Worth every single penny. Funny driver.
Did the 4 day tour of south west Ireland. Amazing trip, fantastic sights, great accommodation and our tour guide Sean was awesome. Great value for money. Highly recommended.
Fantastic experience very well organized and never boring. Josh the tour guide is absolutely fantastic.
Cork, Blarney day trip with Dominic, great day very informative, Dominic has a diverse knowledge, very educational.
Our tour guide Brian was funny and really knowledgeable. We did the 6 day tour and the rooms were great except for the last night. However, they worked to accommodate all of us.
Great tour to the Giants Causeway, with a lively and knowledgeable guide. Would highly recommend!
This was one of the best weeks ever, the drivers will not fail to keep you amused for the week, and the sights you see and experiences you undertake are amazing. The travel time is divided up really well, with experiences in between the travelling. Highly recommend
I had the best time, the tour guide, Rory? I think it was... Was phenomenal and informative. I would definitely recommend this to anyone and everyone! Fully worth it!
Had a blast with Paddywagon tours. Gavin, our bus driver, was fantastic and very honest with us passengers. Loved it. As an Irish person myself, I think this tour was completely worth it.
This day trip to Giants Causeway and Belfast was a very good experience. Gary was our driver and kept us informed and prepared every step of the way. He ensured we had tickets, lunch and enough time at the stops. This is a great day two trip when you might not be adjusted to the time zone change yet. The only thing I would change is to remove the 'dark hedges' stop and have more time at the basalt columns.
Wonderful experience! I've been in Nothern Ireland today and I enjoyed this day a lot..
The bus driver was very nice and funny and he told us a lot of new things very interesting about the places, of course.
Thanks for the lovelly day Paddywagon!
Went on the cliffs of Moher and Galway tour with Jacky. The tour was excellent, Jacky really showed us a good time and taught us a lot on the way. He also recommended places to go during our visit and I ended up having the best fish and chips and gin and tonic I've ever had. He is a great tour guide and very knowledgeable. Highly reccomend
3.5 stars rating. Giant's causeway tour. The tour itself was reasonably good. Driver gave good info on historical and mythology topics. Each stop Would be better if it was longer. The drive was pretty herky-jerky and it made the wife car sick. It would be better to remove one of the photo op stops and extend the others.
The bus was 3/4 full which was ok. On the final 2.5 hour driving leg they filled up every remaining seat with one way people. Made the return trip much more uncomfortable.
Tour company did a good job of communicating and coordinating the reduce number of crowds encountered. It was August so it still was very crowded but it could have been much worse.
Great tour and the driver (Vaul .sorry for misspelling ) was amazing. He knows history and he is a very funny and outgoing person. We had a great time
Great experience on the day tour to Giant's Causeway. Darren was an excellent guide and driver. He was very knowledgeable, kept things fun and made everyone feel welcome. Highly recommend this company and look forward to signing up for another tour on my next visit!
What an amazing experience! I say experience because not only were the sights on the Cliffs of Moher tour breathtaking (we had perfect weather) but we also had the most phenomenal guide, Aiden. What a legend! His knowledge is endless and gave us insights that no other tour platform had given us thus far. We really appreciated his sense of humour, his brilliant tips and his enthusiastic but no nonsense attitude. Aiden you really were brilliant! Thank you for making this trip even better than just beautiful sights!
The Paddywagon tour I attended (six-day) did an amazing job of showing a foreigner the highlights of Ireland without being too focused on "tourist traps". Our bus driver and tour guide did an amazing job of giving us historical details, entertaining stories, and lesser-known facts about all the places we visited.
Giants causeway tour was fun for most part. I liked the history stuff and jokes the driver told but what I did not like was the awfully loud music and punk tracks to wake us up when there was good time to take nap. Also the fact that tour that leaves on the same date but different points of dublin may be a different bus should me mentioned at the webpage. So for others, make sure you and your friends leave at the same stop. Othervise you may get separated for basically the whole trip.
My husband and I took 4 days trips out of Dublin with Paddywagon. We did the cliffs of moher day tour, Wicklow and Kilkenny, Blarney, and the Kerry day tour. Our favorite by far was the Kerry day tour! All four tour guides we had were amazing and really enhanced our experiences. We definitely recommend Paddywagon!
Very rewarding experience. Good for learning a lot stuff about the places and enjoy.
Great trip to Causeway and Carrick-A-Rede bridge - the driver/tour guide Gavin was the best! Only complaint would be they dropped us off at night at a different location than picked up. But with the narrow roads it's understandable.
This was hands down the best guided trip I have ever been on. Our guide (Rory) was considerate, hilarious and informative all at the same time. We definitely got lucky with the weather in Ireland in November as it was sunny and absolutely beautiful when we got to the major attractions. I took the 6 day ireland tour and I felt like it was a great overview of the country. They really did plan it out quite well. Good mix of nature, history and bars (if that's your thing). I was a solo 25 year old traveller and made a great group of friends by the end. I'd recommend this tour for sure.
Out of 12-hour trip, you spend c.a. only 3 hours outside the bus. You can see the Connemara Mountains only out of the window of the bus and there is not a single stop in the national park. You only make a stop at a small town (45 min) and Galway (2 hours) and a photo stop at the coast (10 min). And a toilet stop (15 min).
My husband and I went on a day trip to the Cliffs of Moher and it was perfect. It is a little bit of a long day but our tour guide was really nice and kept us laughing. He was very knowledable and made sure to keep us entertained. The time at each stop was just the right amount of time, the bus was nice and comfortable and the views were amazing. We loved Ireland and we loved our tour with Paddywagon.
It was awesome I really enjoyed it and Jim was amazing too. Thanks for the perfect day and looking forward to trying your other trips.
Dan was an awesome tour guide! He was funny and entertaining along the way. He made great stops for sightseeing and gave some history and facts. Well worth the long day on a bus.
We did the tour to Giants causeway. Our bus driver was very informative about all of the history. He was also strict to those who did not abide by the return time for each site. Some people are very inconsiderate about things like this, holding up the rest of the people. However, he laid down the law on those late comers straight away, which I appreciate.
The tour was definitely worth the money. The place we stopped for lunch had the best food I've had during my stay here. I would definitely use this company again to travel to other areas of the island.
This was honestly the trip of a lifetime! Amazing sights, great driver/guide, and an incredible group of people. Highly recommend!
Amazing one day trip to Cliffs of Moher, and that is thanks to professional, friendly and fun drivers - a great example of driver and tour guide in one person.
James was a great tour guide and we thought Giant's Causeway was beautiful!
Good tour to visit these lovely places. Half day Glendalough-Wicklow.
The negative part was that the driver had to be the tour guide without assistance whilst driving and got distracted several times by talking to some passengers.
The best was having enough time to explore the place on our own.
Very good guides, buses and knowledge. Timing is great too.
A very informative and entertaining tour. The new coach provided a very comfortable ride.
Very well organized tour. The driver Liam was excellent.
This was a wonderful tour. Our tour guide Bailey was great I learned so much from him and the final destination was breathtaking
Our tour guide was awesome and it really was a fantastic trip!
Finished up our 6 day tour yesterday. Brian was our guide. Our trip was wonderful! Brian was amazing! We will be recommending Paddywagon to any of our friends going to Ireland.
Frank was a great guide! It was an amazing experience.
Our driver Val was awesome! He made sitting on the bus for a few hours full of laughter and great stories about the history of Ireland. Super fun, super informative! We'd highly recommend Paddywagon to anyone looking to explore Ireland without having to drive.
Fantastic tour and it was timed perfectly. The tour guide, Brian, was so informative and funny. We went with our friends that live in Cork and they thought it was fantastic also. Wish we had a bit more time at lunch, there was a long line to get lunch and so we had to really eat fast to get back to the bus. That was our only complaint - and considering how many things that we saw - that was so minor. The Cliffs of Moher were fantastic, we walked up both sides of the cliff and into the visitors center. We didn't think much of the 3-D movie and could of skipped that. Everything else was perfect and a great way to see this part of Ireland.
The service was really good in fact I think the funniest guy "Val". We were very lucky having him as tour guide
We had the best time, thank you. We really loved our tour guide Paul, he added lots of personal touches, funny stories and an upbeat warm atmosphere as well as being really informative. We found the tour itself super stunning, the scenery was amazing and well worth setting the alarm for. Would give it 10/10 and very much recommend it! Thanks a million guys!
Yes would highly recommend Paddywagon Tours.I did the two days tour of the wild Atlantic Way ,it was very good and our tour guide/driver was informative on places we passed through .
Well thought-out tour with our knowledgable and fun guide/driver, John. We saw beautiful places, vistas of the lush, green countryside, got a crash course in Irish history, and a good introduction to Dublin. It was the best tour of our 4-week trip!
Fantastic day with a funny and witty guide Lee! Knew an answer to everything, and didn t get boring - not even for a minute. Despite terrible weather, he made this tour unforgettable, and tried his best to get us in before the cliffs were closed! If ever back again, will defo take another one with Paddywagon. Many thanks!
We had taken the tour to Cliffs Of Moher. The bus driver named Gavin was improper. I've been on many such bus tours in different countries but never seen such a misfit person (a few still liked him though but talking about myself... I didn't.) He has so much of useless attitude & was shouting on top of his voice which was only making him sound insane. (I started to get a headache in an hour.)
He told all tourists to report sharp on time or else he would take off the bus without them explaining that he had to be on time & couldn't afford to have extra hours. The tourists were dot on time still Gavin ended the tour 45 minutes late.
There were a few tourists who occupied our seats after the first halt & that's perfectly ok as these seats aren't particularly assigned to any person so after the second halt when we occupied someone else's seat cause our seats were already occupied, a problem was raised & we had to vacate our seats & go behind. May be those girls (who raised the problem) we're in Gavin's favourite list as he was partial to them.
These things leave a very bad taste. It's like your mood is completely screwed & your money is down the drain.
The language used by Gavin at times was also abusive. I'd NEVER EVER recommend PADDYWAGON tours to anyone.
We did the All-Ireland 6-day tour in August 2018. The tour is affordable, well organized and covers most Ireland highlights. The accommodations were central, very clean and breakfasts were included and good. Our bus driver and guide was Ruairi; he is professional, sympathetic, funny, extremely helpful and dedicated to his travellers. He does not hesitate to go the extra mile to make our trip enjoyable to the fullest. On a multi-day tour, I would suggest that seat selection be rotated each day to allow equitable access to different bus areas. Other than that, a superb tour. Signed, Roger and Pierrette from Canada.
Had an absolutely brilliant experience on the 6 day Tour with Ruairi, a fountain of knowledge with a mix of terrible dad jokes ensured an eventful week. Everything ran smoothly, and the hostel accomodation was perfect! Could not recommend this trip more if you are thinking about touring Ireland!! Cheers Ruairi! :)
We had such a great time on both of our tours. Galvin was our guide to Cliffs of Moher. John was our tour guide to Giants Causeway. They were both excellent and extremely informative. I would definitely use this company again! It was great fun!!
It was a fantastic tour to the Cliffs of Moher! The tour guide was super informative on the history of Ireland, the ride was smooth and comfortable, and the whole day trip was very well organized. It was described as a little bit of everything, and not enough of anything - which is totally right. They keep you wanting to come back for more.
Only complaint was the bus had some temperature control problems in the morning. It was either freezing cold or so hot it was sickening. Problems were resolved after we stopped for lunch and the rest of the trip was great. Definitely worth the price!
The tour was exciting and Ireland has a beautiful countryside! The driver (and guide in one!) was so funny! Because the trip is big(~12 hours) and the distances between stops pretty long, you only get to have like 15-30 minutes per stop. When you reach the cliffs you get 1.30 h there to go around. All this time is not a lot but it is enough to get an idea. I wish we had more time at the cliffs, however, It is only logical to have that much eventually due to long distances.
Well organized tours to many of Ireland's attractions. The restaurants and taverns headed for at lunchtime could, however, be left out, then rather allow more free time and go to a cozy pub.
I am not usually a fan of tour groups as I really like the independence of going around on my own. However, I am giving 5 stars to Paddywagon's 4-day tour of southwestern Ireland. Our guide, Rory, was fantastic, limiting his banter to occasional information and funny stories on the bus. We also got a lot of free time to wander around at various locations without having to follow Rory around as a tour guide. It didn't mean that he wasn't available to answer questions though, and he would always give recommendations on where to eat and let us know where he was eating so we could join him if we chose to. The hostel accommodations were clean and comfortable, as was the tour bus. Highly recommend.
I was nervous reading some of the reviews of bus drivers leaving people behind, but I went on two tours with Paddywagon and both the tours and guides were amazing! John and Paudie are fantastic guides that really know the areas they took us to and have a love for Ireland. We went to the cliffs of Moher and the Dingle pennisula, both were amazing and more than I expected! I would recommend this bus your vompany, but if you book just show up early at the beginning and make sure you're on time for the rest of the tour.
We signed up for a 5-day Northern Ireland tour. I wouldn't say avoid, as there aren't that many choices on the market anyway. But it's definitely not as good as they advertise themselves in my opinion.
Poor arrangement: As our group was mixed with people of 1-day tour on 1st day and joined by people of 9-day tour on 2nd day, we ended up visiting the small town of Cong TWICE.
Unprofessional tour guide: Our guide was far from a guide - more like a driver. Most of the time he's just murmuring introduction. So unhelpful that he didn't even bother to close the coach door. I guess this part depends largely on luck - did see some good reviews about good guides.
Accommodation was alright.
One good thing about the tour is that it doesn't include meals (surprise!). So at least we got to choose what to eat and actually enjoyed some really good restaurants. Otherwise I would have a bad impression of Ireland, sorry.
My family went on the Cliffs of Moher tour and had an absolutely wonderful time! The all-day tour was certainly the highlight of our trip.
Great tour! I recommend the small group tour to Blarney. The van was quite comfortable and our driver was awesome. It was really nice avoiding the crowd, especially at Cahir castle!
Driver/tour guide was very funny and nice :) Best buy option for a day trip to Cliffs of Moher
Val (definitely not valentine) was incredible on our tour of the Giants Causeway - knowledgeable, eccentric and hilarious! We found we had a great chance to see so many natural wonders and learn so much about Northern Ireland. A perfect break from the constant deluge of Guinness! Couldn't recommend or thank Val enough for making our tour and indeed our trip so awesome!
Our driver, Aden, was the best tour driver I have ever had, and I do MANY tours. He had great info, was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I would use Paddywagon again FOR SURE!
Lots to like about Paddywagon - easy to sign up and pay online (Hint: search for a coupon code to get a discount); The bus is comfortable and has wifi; Our driver Bill was awesome, kind, professional and easily understood; Easy to find pickup location and flexible drop off locations if you need it; Clean coach but no bathroom on board. We had amazing weather which made it all the more pleasant. Thanks!
6 Day All Ireland made my time in Ireland so much better. Great tour, great driver/guide and got to visit everything I wanted to see.
Tour met all expectations. Two hours before arriving in Dublin, they terminated my wireless service. I assume they monitor usage and I must have uploaded too many pictures to Facebook. If you get carsick, this trip will be difficult with all of the winding roads. Gerry the driver was very good and attentive.
We chose the tour for the Cliffs of Moher from Dublin. We had a great trip with this company, Dan our guide was very friendly. It was just great, I highly recommend this company. And I will not hesitate a single second to call them again: D.
I was privileged to join the 9day tour. It was wonderful to revisit some places and to get to some new ones. Every experience however was made superb by our guide Malcolm, who entertained us with a constant stream of information intertwined with a good sense of humor. He also went to a lot of trouble to keep a diverse group happy. Thank you so much.
Wonderful tour and fantastic guide. Nothing but humorous and professional
Had a good time on the Paddywagon, but it didn't meet my expectations all the way. Lunch was hectic and not nice at all and the guide's singing and humming in the microphone got on my nerves. Enjoyed the cliffs of Moher, and the guide did have lots of good facts and stories.
Hi There,
Amazing experience. We all have enjoyed the trip. Mr. Valv (our driver/guide) is seriously amazing.
Thanks.
We did the day tour from Belfast to the Giants Causeway, Dark Hedges & Carrick-a-rede over the Easter weekend. We got lucky with fabulous weather & the excellent Frank as our guide. He was full of information and went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a chance to spend enough time at each of the stops. Despite the best efforts of a couple of people lagging way behind and causing delays, Frank handled everything brilliantly. Fair play to him, he's an asset to the team. The stops speak for themselves, absolutely beautiful & a very scenic drive along the coast.
Paul was a true delight! Such a fun tour of N. Ireland and a great singing companion! Will definitely ride along with Paddywagon again and definitely try to ride with Paul again!
Our Cliffs Of Moher tour with Paddywagon was excellent! Our driver and tour guide, John, was kind, funny, and knowledgeable. He made plenty of stops along the way and the entire experience was very enjoyable. It was a great value...we highly recommend!
Awesome tour up to Giants Causeway, Dark Hedges and red rope. Definitely recommend if you only have a short time in Belfast. Way better and faster than doing it yourself driving. Super cool bus driver and tour guide too, great sense of humour!
The better of my two tour companies in Ireland. I went on the two day trip of the south and west of Ireland staying overnight in cork. The guides were cool and liked to sing and give poetry. They were happy to recommend things to do in every city. The buses were fairly nice and had charging. We stayed for a good amount of time at each attraction. I learned a lot and had fun.
Great time all in all. There was mention in our group about some more time for photos at the cliffs, but I did feel 1.5 hours was reasonable considering the logistics of driving back to Dublin.
I'd take another Paddywagon tour anytime!
Michael is an AWESOME tour guide! Lots of knowledge and huge sense of humor, he made our day a great one. A great way to get to know the Cliffs of Moher and enjoy the drive with Michael's carpool kareoke :)
We did the Giant's Causeway Day Trip and it was amazing! Our guide Val told the whole story in such a good way that even hearing it for the second time was still okay for me. Would definitely recommend the Tour.
Comfortable coach, beautiful countryside, friendly driver. A great day!
Very good tour with very knowledgeable drivers. We had great weather for the Causeway trip and a fun and intersting guide to take us down into the bays. We walked down and got one of the shuttle buses back, as it's quite a steep walk back. We chose the black cab trip which gave us a real insight into the troubles and we were even given pens to write on the peace wall. It's a long day but very worth it.
I'm still going to give this 5 stars because the tour itself was fantastic and Aaron was the great tour guide I had for 1.5 days of my 2 day tour. However, my ride back to Dublin with Frank wasn't the best. Back to Aaron though, he was extremely helpful, funny and helped us enjoy our trip. He found the right balance of talking without overwhelmove the group.
We went on the half day Glendalough/Wicklow mountain tour, and the tour was amazing. The sites were very beautiful and we only wish we could have stayed longer. Our tour guide gave us good information about Glendalough and was very friendly and helpful.
