Wifi didn't work most of trip, and when it did, it...

Wifi didn't work most of trip, and when it did, it was so slow and kept dropping, could barely finish typing a what's app message in time to send. If you don't have a data plan or EU sim and rely on wifi to send/receive messages, it's frustrating...when I asked the drivers they just said they couldn't do anything about it...one employee made a snippy comment about how "nothing is the same without wifi these days" as if I was obsessed with being on wifi 24/7, but as a foreigner, I rely on wifi to get in touch w people on trips. I don't have a phone plan like he does and I'm sure he's keeping in touch w his friends and family while on the road, just a rude and uncecesary comment to begin my trip. Don't advertise wifi if it's not provided.

We also stopped so many times everyday at different random roadside points...meaning time at the important such as the Cliffs were cut too short. Everything felt rushed during the day, especially time allotted for eating/pit stops.

Evenings at the B&Bs were chil, though, no pressure to hang out with the group but group activities were organized for those who wanted it.

Bring layers as bus can get cold and weather changes fast.

Try and get a window seat if you like taking pictures.

Easy booking online. Professional, informative driver (Dan deserves a 5/5 and was great, even doubling as our resident photographer- thank you! "Great stuff!"

We were on the Sunday 12th January full day tour of the Wicklow Mountains/Glendalough and Kilkenny.

We were picked up at 09:15 at the Molly Malone statue (literally stood at the statue).

Made our way to Glendalough, the driver was very entertaining, and made a 1.5 hour trip go pretty quickly, I did not take his name, but he seemed very informative and you could tell he knew what he was talking about.

There was a nice level of banter/jokes and actual informative information.

Got to Glendalough, spent 2 hours there (usually 1.5 hours but we were very luck with traffic, so had a bit more time), it's a very interesting place with the monastery, and the walk was lovely, I personally would have preffered to have styaed in Glendalough for a couple more hours as opposed to going to Kilkenny, there seemed to be a few walking trails, but most of them would have taken longer than the 2 hours.

We had a quick drink at the hotel before jumping back on the bus, we then drove to Kilkenny, on the way briefly stopping to the mountain view of Braveheart for a quick picture, we got back on the coach for a 1.5 - 2 hour drive to Kilkenny, going over the PS I Love You bridge in the process (you cannot actually stop here).

Got to Kilkenny, wasn't overly impressed, there is a castle (which we could not go in due to being fully booked), and a little town of shops, would have much preffered more time in Glendalough, we ended up spending the last hour sat in a cafe waiting to go back.

Then had a 2 hour drive back to Dublin, dropped off near the same pickup location.

Great tour guide, loved Glendalough, Kilkenny not so much.

5* Tour Guide
5* Glendalough
2* Kilkenny
4* Overall.

This was mine and my sisters first tour on our first day in Dublin. We did the Cliffs of Moher tour and our guide, Lee, was amazing! Bus was very comfortable, had wifi, usb chargers, and made stops at places with amazing food! It's kind of a full day thing but thats ok for the amount of things you see and learn.

Amazing tour with a great driver (Val), who told us a little about the story of Ireland and North Ireland, the legends of the places that we went, and was super funny and entertained. I took the Giant's Causeway Tour (from Dublin, on the 28th August 2017), and that was a wonderful tour. The places were amazing and breathtaking. It was great that in one day we could see so many places, with beautiful landscapes and amazing stories. For fans of Game of Thrones, as myself, we can visit places were some scenes were shoot, and we eaten in a pub/restaurant where cast and crew went while filming in North Ireland (also there are some itens from the series in this place). I loved it! Although it was raining in some occasions, we took incredible photos and we had time to appreciate the places. It's important that people understand that everything is scheduled, so we can see all the places that is in the program. Be prepare to respect this, so everybody can appreciate all the places and have a good time. If I ever come back to Ireland, I will do another tour with Paddywagon! I recommend it.

I really enjoyed the Ring of Kerry tour leaving from Cork and the stops that we made - especially the Bog Village and the gorgeous scenery. The tour guide, Paul, was quite informational, pleasant and entertaining! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area. I wish I had been able to take some of the other tours too, but our time in Ireland was too short to allow it!

An AWESOME way to get acquainted with the Irish countryside and the Ring of Kerry! Our guide was funny and knowledgeable but didn't prattle on, the tour group wasn't too huge, and we had freedom to explore without getting bored. A really ideal choice for your first full day in Ireland after you land from the States: if you're jetlagged, you get to make the most of your day but you can rest in between!

We had a great tour with Richard O Brien at the wheel. His knowledge was plentiful and accurate while also keeping us entertained with funny quips. We are so glad we chose PaddyWago tours (saw tons of Northern Ireland in one day) and even more thankful on how lucky we were to have Richard O Brien

My first Paddywagon tour did not disappoint, so much so I booked another trip for the next week. Our tour guide, Bailey, was awesome. He was very energetic and offered a very fun history lesson at each of our stops. I would highly recommend Paddywagon, especially if you are unable to rent a car while in the city. The public transportation systems in Dublin are great, but it is very difficult to get to all the amazing places outside of the city and back in the same day. Paddywagon covers all the ground you want to see in Ireland in day trips which makes is super easy!

We just completed the six day all Ireland tour. One of our crew noted that our group always looked happier than those on the other tour buses we encountered. No doubt in part to our most excellent tour guide Brian. His historical knowledge, cheerful demeanor, and organizational skills made the tour very enjoyable and stress free. I can highly recommend this tour for anyone that wants to get the most out of 6 days in Ireland.

It got the job done of bringing us to a bunch of different sights in a short period of time, but I would not do it again. Our driver , Freddie, was a crabby person. He had a bad interaction with one of the guests on the first day of our tour and it put him in a bad mood for the remainder of the week. He did a lot of complaining. The bus tour also wasted a lot of time and we did not have a lot of time at each location. We spend 30min-1 hr at each pee stop which was excessive. Also, many of the locations are not included in terms of admission. We still had to pay admission to the advertised tourist stops. The fungi the dolphin adventure is not encouraged and we had to struggle to be able to go on that tour even though it was advertised as part of the tour. Some of the hotels we stayed in were not very clean. I definitely would not do paddy wagon again and unfortunately do not have very fond memories of this vacation.

I did the Cliffs of Moher tour. The driver/guide (same person) was fun and knowledgeable. The main attraction are The Cliffs and the other couple of stops are just okay. I think tours that focus more on the cliff are around 30 - which sounds a more reasonable price to me. The was no guide when we were off the bus.

AWESOME!!!! We took the 3 day tour to Galway and Kerry. Aaron was our driver and guide. He was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and funny. The tour was well worth the money. We would have paid the same or more for overnight accommodations, rental car, gas and meals. Breakfast and 1 dinner (in Dingle) were provided. It was so nice to have someone show us the sights, give us free time to explore, and get us to our destinations on time. We would not have been able to see nearly as much in 3 days on our own. We now have great pictures and memories. :) Thank you Paddywagon Tours and a big shout out to Aaron for a wonderful trip!! BTW, please remember to tip your tour guide. They are giving you up to a week of their time to make sure you have a safe and enjoyable vacation...including helping with heavy luggage. They deserve every penny! Thanks again Aaron...Michelle and Paul

Thank you so much.

We really enjoyed our 9-Day All Ireland Paddywagon Tour. Shawn Murphy, our driver/ narrator was fantastic! Fun, friendly, knowledgeable and a great face for the company. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the rooms/beds in some of the B&Bs were not up to snuff. At Acorn House the beds were awful - lumpy and uncomfortable. The other drawback was rooms on the 3rd floor and no one to help with bags. If Paddywagon were to upgrade the B&Bs a bit, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend the tour to our friends in our age group (63 to 73) . As it is, we would recommend them to younger more fit individuals. We are happy we took the tour, and made some friends among the young folks on the bus. We have great memories to take home with us, and a whole slew of new young Facebook friends.

We had an amazing time! Gavin gave us a great experience filled with lots of facts, stories, and folklore of the area. He was very attentive to the needs of the group, and although we got held up in traffic shortening our allotted time for he day, he didn t skimp out on giving us more than what we payed for and didn t shorten the time that we had for all of the stops. We enjoyed our experience with Paddy Wagon Tours, and would recommend Gavin every time.

Joined a 9-day started September 12 on a single economy, I.e. with extra single rooom charge and double those of backpackers. Barry s service is great and I probably rate 4 out of 5 but the room is terrible at Waterford and here in Killarney, the latter has no window unless you. Asked the two at overhead!

Our trip to Northern-Ireland was amazing! We had a nice guide, telling us interesting storing in the bus. The tours in Belfast and Derry were very interesting. We also went to the Titanic museum in Belfast but personally I had preferred to walk around in the city instead of that museum, but I realized that too late so I haven't asked if that is possible. On Saturday we were a little bit unlucky with the weather because it was raining and very windy the whole day. But that didn't stop us so we say the beautiful coast with very impressive waves (something you might not see on a sunny day ;)). I would definitely recommend this tour because you get a lot of nice moments for a low price (I had a student special price by the way...).
Happy days!

Myself and three friends attended the Giant's Causeway tour leaving from Dublin. Early on in the tour the bus slid on some ice and was wedged between two buildings. We were left sitting on the bus waiting for a replacement bus for quite a while. The time lost on the accident, as well as bad weather, caused us to miss most of the things we were supposed to see on the tour. Because of this, we requested a refund, and were promised one. However, it has been multiple weeks and we haven't received it. I am not leaving 1 star over the accident, but over poor customer service. We felt we should have been offered a refund immediately, and instead we have had to chase them down with multiple calls and emails.

We went on the Giant's Causeway tour and had an astoundingly fun day! The driver, Val, was funny and entertaining and full of knowledge. He honestly made the whole trip for us - he made the 12 hour day on a bus fun and had us laughing the whole time. On our way back to Dublin, we talked about how much fun we'd had on the tour with Val, and it made us interested in looking into the longer outings for our next visit to Ireland. The tour was incredible and VERY well organized, but Val made it the highlight of our visit to Ireland!

Cliffs of Moher 9/27/19

Be on time! The tour was set to start at 0845 and we left right on time (which is a good thing to make the most of the tour time). Our driver was Jack (who was hilarious, energetic and made the tour a great experience). Jack made sure we spent the most time as possible at all our attraction stops. Jack provided very good recommendations at each attraction. The drive from Dublin to The Cliffs of Moher is approximately 3 hours so Jack made sure to keep us entertained with great stories and pointed out all the interesting sights and landmarks on the way.

We took a day trip from Dublin to the Cliffs of Mo...

We took a day trip from Dublin to the Cliffs of Moher. Our driver, Val O'Brien, was extremely knowledgable, and very funny. We spent most of the trip laughing at the stories he told.
We left Dublin at ~8:00 am and made our first stop around 10 for a coffee and restroom break. We then stopped at Dunghoaire Castle where we spent about 20 minutes exploring the castle grounds and taking pictures of Galway Bay. After that we went to the Baby Cliffs of Moher which were beautiful! We were warned not to get too close to the edge, as there is nothing stopping you from going 300 feet straight down. Lunch was at a nice place called Fitzpatrick's which had a lovely outdoor courtyard. As were were coming up to the Cliffs of Moher visitor's center, Val stressed that on a clear day like we had, we should skip the center and explore as much of the cliffs as possible, since we had an hour and a half. It was good advice since walking to the top of the Cliffs took a while.
Our last scheduled stop was near Bunratty Castle for some shopping and restrooms again. We made an unscheduled stop about an hour and a half later because a couple of young women needed to use the bathrooms again on the way home. Val was very understanding about the stop and didn't begrudge the extra time needed. Our return trip was otherwise uneventful and full of fun stories and great views. I would highly recommend doing another Paddywagon tour if we ever get back to Ireland.

Paddywagon is a great option for a low-cost way to...

Paddywagon is a great option for a low-cost way to see lots of attractions and sites. My one word of warning is that you have to be prepared to treat it like quasi-backpacking. You pack & re-pack everyday, stay at a new B&B every night, and really feel like a nomad. We chose the B&B option for the 4-night trip and the rooms always met my two biggest concerns--they were always clean and safe. No bugs, clean rooms, and always in walkable locations to local attractions. If those are also your main concerns, you'll be happy with this budget trip. You should be aware that there can be a big disparity in the rooms. Some had more amenities than others, but typically I'd say the rooms were small and never had anything "extra". Definitely no coffee makers, extra towels, fridges, cable channels, etc. Breakfast in the morning may range from full Irish breakfast to simple cereal and toast, depending on where you end up staying. So long as you don't plan on spending a whole lot of time in your room and your goal is to see as much of Ireland as you can on a limited budget, I think you'll be really pleased with the tour.

So far as the tour goes, the driver is incredibly knowledgable and tells you stories about places you pass that you would never hear if you rented your own car. Also, the driving seems very confusing and I said several times that I was so glad we didn't attempt to rent a car. The bus has wifi, too, so you can really relax, look at the scenery, and then catch up on your emails/web surfing when you get bored on the drive. They are also lots of bathroom breaks--you end up stopping at least every two hours or so. Although this makes the travelling longer, most of the bus appreciated the chance to stretch their legs and grab a coffee.

We found that the itinerary was a great sample platter of the west coast of Ireland. We definitely know where we would love to re-visit next time.

If you can be easy going about accomodations and you don't mind a packed schedule, this is such a great deal. We kept marvelling that it was basically only 100 euro per day each and it seemed to include so much (B&B, bus, tour guide, gas, tolls, attractions, breakfast) all while we got to sit back and take it all in. I would definitely recommend this tour.

I did the trip to the cliffs of Moher and it was definitely worth it! Our tour guide (unsure of his name but he was Irish with glasses, did the trip on 15/01/20) was great with information of Dublin city whilst driving out, and of many other things along the trip. I got travel sick on the way there and he asked if I was okay and reassured me for the rest of the drive. He was super friendly and made the trip more enjoyable! The cliffs themselves were great, we had great views and the weather was fab for January. We also stopped off at the baby cliffs of Moher which was a great photo opportunity. Our stop at Doolin for lunch provided great food, there were options for gluten free and veggie/vegan and the food was lovely. Would definitely recommend this trip!
