I called ahead they said they d replace my tire while I waited. So I rode out 20 minutes and gave them the bike they said I d have it back in an hour. After an hour I went to check in the lot see if it was done and *it had not gone in yet*. I was given some story about somebody being on lunch and somebody else bringing the wrong bike in. Deal with it guys tell me when I phone if you have no control over your staff!
Anyway three hours after checking in I was finally on my way again into rush hour and I had lost a fine fall afternoon.
They used to be good, and they used to care. They still have a great accessory inventory. But when I asked if they were really going to charge me for that bad service, the clerk didn t even skip a breath in hissing, yes! .
So I will be giving everybody else in town a chance to be that bad before I go back to these guys for service.

I have been going to the Ottawa Goodtime Centre for about 7 years and the staff and service has always been excellent. I am on my third bike and can be a little high maintenance but the staff are always very patient and helpful when I need them.
The accessory department is by far the largest you find in the city plus the variety of brands they carry and sizing makes it easy to find what your looking for.
They have an ever changing selection of bikes so you can always find something new and interesting when you walk in the store. Plus, the rider hang out area with complementary beverages makes it a great please to stop in on a hot day.
The service department has fantastic knowledge of all bikes (I'm on my third brand as well as bike), and they always reliable and do a professional job.

Weird place. Went to buy a snowblower but will go somewhere else. The only customer service I could find was the guy sitting at the desk in the centre of the showroom. I went up, asked my questions and he answered them while pointing to the snowblowers from his chair. Nice guy, but at least wheel your desk chair over to show me the features!

What a great experience I've had with OGC! From partaking in sponsorship promotional arrangements from various manufacturers to support my son's racing, to working patiently with me to locate the correct size stand for my bike, to letting my daughter get excited trying on new MX clothes while waiting for a tire change on Saturday morning (YES, their service department is OPEN ON SATURDAY!!), combined with friendliness and knowledge of their staff, makes this a truly remarkable example of just what is customer service! I am happy I own a Kawasaki and have a great dealer to support it!

Really like this store, haven't bought a motorcycle here but been in parts well over a dozen times to get gear, oil, components. Always taken care of and questions are thoroughly answered.
Bought some spark plugs (which are non-returnable items) and when I got home and realized I already had a set of them, I was able to bring them back and return them with minimal hassle.
I've spent well over an hour walking around the store in boots and a helmet to make sure they were the right fit and comfortable, no questions or pressure to make a purchase decision. Wound up buying the boots and helmet and felt that the time in store to try them allowed me to make the best decision possible.
Great store, quality brands, helpful staff. From my experience here I'd highly recommend Ottawa Goodtime.

I had great time dealing with Mike Pearson, he was easy to deal with, answered my questions, helped me get my bike I wanted. My one and only problem was my brand new 2012 zx6r was not clean when I picked it up. It still had the sold paper tape stuck to it... dust all over it...

Quality of delivery preparation was poor (glass and greasy mirror, paper delivery protectors still in place, gunk in the wheel nuts, etc.) Not the expected caliber of a BMW representative.

I have had nothing but great experiences with all of the staff at Goodtime Centre. Everyone's been helpful and knowledgeable each and every time I've been there. I've purchased a new motorcycle, and have purchased a good deal of gear there as well with no issues. Their prices seem to be slightly cheaper than other local dealerships in my experience.

Having recently purchased a motorcycle from Ottawa Goodtime Center, I thought it was pertinent that I write a review of my experience with Mike Pearson (my salesperson), Pat Jones (financing) and the rest of the gang at OGC. From the 1st time I met Mike, I noticed his passion for motorcycles. He has a willingness to get to know his clients, listens to what they have to say and offers sound suggestions. I have been going to OGC for at least 5-6 years, and only bought a motorcycle from them this year, and not once did I feel pressured or not respected as a person, by Mike, or anyone else in the dealer! Everyone I've dealt with, from sales, parts, service, accessories has been professional, friendly and always willing to help. This attitude is a rare commodity and should be applauded. Bought a new motorcycle (May 2012), paid in full (no financing) and they were not kind enough to give me a price-match on a new helmet. Found the same helmet I wanted over at Power Sports (~1Km between the stores) where it was less than half price. I asked the Good Times sales rep who I was dealing with if he can do a price-match on the helmet, I was surprised to be told "no, 10% off max, if you found it at a better price, I can't match it".
Not too long after I bought the bike, I went to see the service department for a coolant leak, the bike was still under warranty and I was really happy they fixed for free on the spot ... (however, the service called me a few days later to tell me the bike was ready for pick-up and that the bill was something like $116, ... the service guy I talked to was very confused when I told him the bike was home and the the work was done under warranty)
At that point (about 20 days after I bought the bike) the service department told me I needed to do my first service (1000Km) in order to comply with the warranty, ... oil change, ensure everything is fine with the bike, etc.. I have no problem with paying for the oil change, but he informed me that the inspection would take 2 to 4 hours, charged at the hourly rate. I am sorry, but this first service should have been included in the sale and as a matter of facts, this first inspection is include in most of the other dealers I went.
Replaced both tire last fall, just under $450 installed at another dealer, Good time quoted me $620 for the exact same tires.

Last visit a week ago I tried on a pair of Daytona Roadstar boots. One of their most expensive boots at $650 retail. Awesome boots. I was ready to buy but they didn't have my exact size. I left my name and number and they were supposed to call back next day after talking with their supplier to see if they could get my size. A week later......still no call back. I will order the boots from an online supplier Monday. I will have them in 3 days.
I called parts desk a week ago on a different requirement and asked if they could get Wunderlich parts....... Specifically a duffel bag. Parts guy said yes and I even provided the part number but he said he was too busy to check. I provided my name and number for the 2nd time and he said would call back next day. I was shocked that no one there could look it up while I was on hold......even more surprised that a week later I still havnt recieved a call. I ordered the bag and a few other items for my bike totaling over $400 in USA funds on Friday from Wunderlich USA direct. All items in stock and shipping Monday. I will have the order by the end of the week.
It's no secret that online shopping is the biggest threat to brick and mortar retailers. I prefer to shop local and support local business where possible but seriously guys I shouldn't have to chase you. This is lost business of well over $1000 that was totally avoidable with a bit of followup effort. This can't of customer service can't be helping your vendor quotas.

If there is a zero rating here I will definitely give it. Since day one I bought an Arien snow blower from them headache never stops. Paid in full the end of August promised to deliver in September. Nothing happened until the end of September I called in. Promised to call me back to arrange a delivery never happened. I have to call them back. After same scenario repeated 4 times they finally get it delivered when it's already the end of October. Just a couple of days ago we had our first heavy snow this winter in Ottawa.
I had pull this new machine out and tried. The engine makes very loud explosion sound regularly along with severe shaking and it wasn't running smoothly Because I have never used a snow blower I thought it's normal as a new machine it may need some break-in. To finish my drive way(2 cars) it easily finish the gas came with the machine so I put some more gas just bought from Shell(87 according the the manual) as long as it doesn't influence performance on removing snows. Until my wife told me the sound is different than my neighbours' I realize it and called them. They told me I need to bring in and refused to pay transportation. I had to fix a brand new machine and I had no choice. I rent a truck to bring in the last day of 2015 and get promised to call me today the earliest possible( The sales manager Jason promised the first priority this morning and it was 20-30 minutes estimated). Nothing happened until I called in when it's already closed to noon. The girl said it's fixed I can go pick it up and the problem was the carburetor need to be adjusted and I didn't misuse the machine. I happened to talked to a friend he told me that it' doesn't make sense on such an out of box machine. It should be set before going out of factory. Even when I was picking up the same girl on the phone said the gas I put in was also not good. I highly doubted, everything I did was followed the manual. My impression is that they are just not trustworthy and managed to try to avoid their responsibility. Once they had your money they don't care anything else. Today I tried to installed a dark PUIG Windshield that I ordered which was very simple to put on but for some reason unknown I could not aligned those darn bolts and was just out of myself. I went to Gootime to return it as I could not install the damn thing. The parts guru guy looked at the books, computer etc and at the end called Jason to have a look at what could be wrong. Jason matched the windshield to a newer bike downstairs that was the same model but 3 years newer than mine and it fit. I went back home to get my bike to Goodtime thinking there was no way that thing would fit. Jason's determination perhaps even stubborness said he will installed it in 5 minutes. Sure enough he installed it VERY quickly. I was dumbfounded that he managed to do it. I am still in awe maybe I used a screw driver vs a drill? I don't know. I thank you Jason for your prompt and quick service.

So I bought my bike may 2016 from goodtime. Salesman had me put a downpayment of 1000$ on the bike I wanted. 2 weeks later I came to pay the balance and pick up my bike. Little did I know there was about 800$ of extra frees they didn't tell me about. Wanted a refund and they wouldnt give me my money back so I was forced to buy the bike. Yes I payed too much for it but I enjoy it. 4 months later it had a no start issue. I've had 2 mechanics look at it and I've spend about 600$ now fixing it. With no luck I came back to goodtime to fix it. I dropped it off 15 days ago now and they still don't even have the parts. They told me a week after receiving my bike they messed up and they never put in my order. Waited an extra week and they still aren't in. I've called 3 times now and they tell they will call me back in 5 min to check in my parts have came in and they never call back. Happened 3 times now. It's been about 9 months now that I've been waiting for this bike. It was running for 4 months out of the 12 months I've owned it and my new bill at goodtime center is 877$. This is the 3rd starter celonoid I've bought from them that won't work. I was told they know there stuff and so let's see what happens!

I have purchased two motorcycles in the last three years at this dealership and have had nothing but great service. When a problem arose with my most recent bike, Goodtime center owned it and replaced the parts for free. Mike is the most accommodating sales person I know, I do not know another sale person that will not only give me their compression bandage but actually put it on my foot for me. If that's not service then I'm not to sure what is. I recently brought a new rider who was interested in purchasing a supersport bike as his first motorcycle. Mike took the time to qualify him to ensure he had the right bike. Instead of purchasing a supersport my friend ended up purchasing something a little more forgiving. Out of town buyer. First motorcycle purchase made in 2016. Negotiated the deal over email conditional on final inspection in person. Price was as stated and dealt with very professionally and no surprises. Went back for second purchase with them in 2018. Same procedure. No hassles. Wished car dealerships were so upfront and easy to work with. On both occasions, they did not move on advertised price but did make accommodations on additional accessories added.

I was having issues with my bike blowing the main ...
I was having issues with my bike blowing the main fuse so I first took it into Powersports World, but they weren't able to find the problem so I took it to the Ottawa Goodtime Center.
The young lady at the service counter (Olivia I think?) was helpful and very knowledgeable. They were able to find the issue, which was a faulty ignition switch. They gave me the option of having the switch replaced or having the switch cleaned to see if the switch actually needed to be replaced, as well as saving costs. I decided to go with having the switch cleaned, which resolved the issue and saved me some money.
Since then I've stored my bike there over the winter and had the switch replaced for my own peace of mind while it was hibernating. (They had a deal on getting work done over the winter too!)
I find the accessory selection on the 2nd floor to be fanatic as well. When I'm looking for new gear I typically start by going the Goodtime Center then checking out the other shops in the area and online. Every time I end up back at the Goodtime Center to make my purchases due to their low prices and staff that actually care.
Overall great service, great prices and friendly knowledgeable staff.

I went into the GTC this past Feb. I was looking to trade My Thunderbird in for a touring bike. I was interested in a Goldwing at the time so I came in to compare the BMW's touring bike. I met Mike inside the store who listened to what I was looking for knowing was looking to trade my bike my bike at the end of this summer. He took the time to find out what I was planning to do with the bike where I was planning to travel to and asked a few question about what I like to do. when He found out I liked camping he made a suggestion that I take the time to checkout Adventure Motorcycles. After a few late nights on Youtube I realized he was right. These are the bikes I should be looking at. Upon My return to the store I met Mike again and after showing me the different bikes BMW and Triumph. He asked me again about how I was planning to ride this bike after I bought it. Then gave me the reasons I should pick one over the other depending on My answer. After more research on the Internet I had made My choice based on what Mike had told me to look for in the right Bike for me. I returned and bought my Triumph Explore in June. I have put on over 12,000k since then. Everything from Highway to dirt trails. I absolutely love the choice I made based on Mike Pearson's help. I would Highly recommend Mike and all the others at that dealership. My favorite upstairs person is Michelle. She has helped me pick my gear and again I'm very happy with my purchases she has recommended. I look forward to going to the GTC every couple of weeks just to look around. (and I live 1 1/2 hours away) They both take the time to greet me and ask how I'm enjoying the bike. It will be the first place I go when looking to buy My next Motorcycle and they are the first people I recommend to talk when I send others to the Good time Center.

Bought a used 2016 Ducati. Nice bike. However, after I picked up the bike I found out there was no PIN, no red key (required for programming) provided and the FOB was under recall. To have these issues resolved, I will have to take it to a Ducati dealership and take a day off of work.
Based on the response from the dealership I will add the following comments. Yes, the bike was priced well. I found another bike at the same price but chose the dealership thinking the bike would be ready for sale. It was not unfortunately and after three items to fix and a day's lost wages and repairs, it has cost me over 2.5K. To help explain this, I was told in a communication that they are not Ducati dealership. In the end, the total cost was not as good as I might have gotten elsewhere. I now have the bike at a Ducati dealership for full inspection. I think Ottawa Goodtime centre is an overall good dealership but be careful when buying used bikes they are not a dealership of.
