About a year ago I went to Orem Mazda to look at some cars. I had finally narrowed it down to two cars so we went inside to talk numbers. They pulled my credit score multiple times in one day and then since I mentioned I was a first time car buyer, they told me my rate would be 12+ percent even though I have a good credit score. The girl helping me had to keep going back into glass office where a bunch of guys were in there praticing their golf swings. Not very professional. I left in tears because they told me my car payment for a 13k car would be $400+. The next day when I went back telling them I was financing through someone else to but the car, they tried to raise the price on the car by 1500 dollars and it wasn't until my husband came in that they weren't trying to take advantage of me. Finally when they realized I was financing through someone else they found me a rate for 8 percent lower than what they had told me the day before. The guy that helped us with the financing was very nice and friendly and made up for the other employees.
Fast forward a year later. I got into a bad accident and I was calling to try to figure out Who my gap insurance was through. I had to call three different times to finally talk to someone. Chip was helping me and he acted like he couldn't care less if I had it or not and made me feel like a complete idiot. I feel like it's something they should know how to get access to since they required me to purchase it at the time of buying the car. Overall horrible experience
