This hotel is a historical monument that is worth every cent that you may pay to stay... the entire building has been restored to keep the style and feeling of this masterpiece. It let's you travel back in time...
What was built to serve the elite and wealthy of that time period is now accessible to the common person, and is something that should be taken advantage of!

A beautiful old hotel in absolutely wonderful surroundings. Unfortunately this is all going to waste as this is nothing else than a vacation factory. There is no attention to detail at all and no quality feeling to the service or the amenities. At the prices they charge I was expecting a very different hotel.
We checked in for what we were hoping to be a tranquil 3 days with hiking and golf but decided after ten minutes that we would leave immediately and go somewhere else. Best decision of this vacation!

Spectacular is the best way to describe the Mount Washington Inn. We stop by every time we're in the White Mountains. The heated outdoor pool on a cold winter night is amazing. Great shuttle service skiing. Definitely worth an overnight stay or just stopping by for dinner.

This is a fabulous, historic hotel with a great atmosphere you won't get in modern hotels. The staff are absolutely top-notch, friendly, helpful and they know their stuff. The restaurants are well staffed and the food is fantastic. Its not a cheap place to stay, but you do get what you pay for, for sure.

My wife my mother and I went to lunch. That's always the food was good and the wait staff are extremely friendly. The food is a little bit pricey but not as much as you would think for the type of place it is and the quality of the food. Also the mixed drinks are always very well made. They never skimp on the alcohol.

An absolutely stunning place to either stay or visit any time of year. During the summer you're nearby beautiful hiking and wineries, and exploring the property is equally as satisfying. During the winter, they offer snowshoeing trails, cross-country skiing trails, tubing for kids from the Nordic center, and shuttles to brettonwoods ski resort. I love that you can use these amenities even if you're not a guest at the hotel and you just wanted to explore it for a the day. You can also take tours of the hotel itself which I would also recommend doing if you have the time.

Very nice bar, one of several, from convenient parking. Great meal for six of us, excellent service, extensive wine list, live pianist, lovely songs. We'd love to come back for a stay.

Bretton Woods Hotel is a landmark in U.S. and world history. The International Monetary Found and the World Bank were established by an international meeting promote in 1944 there to promote a better world for all after the II Word War. This is a region with beautiful places to visit. Must visit all. The ski area is also very good, with very serious and professional instructors. The management of the ski school lacks the same level of professionalism and really needs improvement, to not be able to make reasonable judgment calls is a no go for anyone that wants to be in charge of anything... Besides that, the employees, professionals and hospitality professionals are top notch.

This resort is beautiful! I attended a conference here during Memorial Day weekend and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I stayed in a condo which was maintained by the resort as opposed to the hotel itself, but ate my meals at the hotel. The pool and outdoor facilities were great for the children. The only reason this isn't a 5 star review is the hotel restaurant. The food was incredibly expensive, which was to be expected, but dinner service was slow and the food was mediocre. Breakfast was great, but dinner really left some to be desired. In addition, the hotel gets very hot and stuffy at night, as it does not seem to be air conditioned.

An awful place never ever ever go there !!! Their
housekeeper stole my coat from clothet in room number 175 on Christmas Day . They spoiled my holidays and gave me a hard time after I left that horrible place. I have been trying to reach them and get an update on my loss. I left many voicemails to their director of loss prevention Peter Eakley and he never returned my calls. On the day of theft I talked to their security guy( don t remember his name) and he told me that they will try to find the coat if not, they will do the reimbursement and that they will reach me the next day with any info. Of course I didn t receive any calls from security either.
Just don t go there its not a place you can trust!!!

A beautiful, elegant, historic old girl in a gorgeous part of the world with a lot in the area to do! Tremendous and extensive public areas for mingling with family, friends, other guests, or to sit quietly with a good book. The pictures, old hand-drawn maps, and stories that line the halls and common areas can keep you entertained for hours.

Great facade. Place looks amazing but the staff is largely incompetent, prices of everything from the cost of a bottle of water to coffee shop to restaurant prices are beyond outrageous, and walls are thin so you hear everything.

Went to the golf resort. The layout was okay, but the dude at the desk was rather arrogant for a place open to the public. He basically had an attitude that we were lucky to be there. Also, they pack the course so be prepared to wait. Better choices at $80/round.

A really impressive looking resort. Didn't stay here, but you can go for lunch (tea on Fridays). Eat on the balcony with an impressive view of Mt Washington and the cog railway in the background. A bit pricey, but worth a visit.

I absolutely love coming up here in the fall for a long weekend. The hotel is grand and the view is just incredible. Kids love to come too never mind the wife! If you can make sure you have some of the hot chocolate as well.

I have never stayed at this hotel- I have relatives that live in the area. However, I have been here many many times. It s one of my most favorite places. Beautiful. Relaxing. So many cool books and crannies. Always had great food too.

The hotel is run down and wayyyyy over priced. It s a beautiful place in the mountains but for the price they have to offer more. The hotel is kind of dirty if you look closely. The staff was not very attentive and the food is over priced as well. I would definitely stop here on a drive for some cool pictures but $250-500 per night is just too much for a run down hotel. With a tiny bit of maintenance and management this could be an amazing place. It s off because Hyatt is a good company...they need to pay attention to this property and fix it up. It could be something great.

Everyone said that this hotel is a paradise on earth. The Four Seasons is a great place to stay. This hotel has far exceeded the 5-star standard. It should already be a ten-star hotel? You can try swimming with sharks. You can also play in the private lakes of local marine biologists. You must not miss the spa treatments here. Here you can lie face down, watch the tropical fish swimming through the glass floor, and enjoy a massage.

This historic hotel experience was one of the best we have had. The personnel, from check in to check out were thoughtful and friendly. The setting is wonderful. The tour of this hotel is not to be missed.

Two nights cost us over 700$, with an added a "resort fee." Wasn't even a ski weekend and we'll past leaf peeping season. Our room had a dirty tub and shower with broken tiles, there was heavy machinery beeping and operating at our outside window at 5am and the blackout curtains were ripped and didn't cover the windows. The hotel itself is historically charming but Omni you need to do better on the things you can control.

The Golf course was a beautiful links style course designed by Donald Ross. It features some classic greens and picturesque tee shots. The back tees will certainly challenge anyone who attempts them. Amazing clubhouse!

Beautiful hotel, they are only half open & guests are limited in how & where they can relax which is very disappointing. You would expect they would allow you to sit 6 feet apart in the grand hotel lobby area and experience the hotel's grandeur. Half open & full price is a disenchanting combination leaving one underwhelmed.

Stay somewhere else.

Stay somewhere else.
I understand during covid things are different but when a few staff members are amazing and the rest stink you can blame it on covid.
I have stayed at greenbrier and the hotel Del the rooms were the same price and the experience was more motel 6 than high end resort.
First if going there during this pandemic- one restaurant is open and mask wearing is not enforced by the hotel staff. In fact the hotel staff is non existent. The coffee shop is only open weekends from 7-1.

When we checked in the person helping us made sure she had our credit card info but was unable to tell us where our room was. It was some where on the first floor( their second floor). No info on wifi passwords what was open or not open during covid or anything remotely helpful and welcoming for our stay.
The resturant is poor at best, they have a limited menu which I understand but that means u only need to be able to make 5 things well. They weren t. Again we were there for a catered wedding the food for the wedding was amazing so there is a disconnect somewhere at this resort.

The housekeeping staff was so nice and helpful it just took 5 hours of calling the front desk to get someone to pick up and get someone to print a pillow for the roll out we had reserved.

I had called and asked to speak to someone about my experience before leaving this review but no one bothered to return my call. I guess once they have your 1200 bucks they are done. I expect the hotel to try and say something nice now but why couldn t they help me during my stay or return my messages?

The view is amazing but I couldn t see paying for it come visit, do worry no one from the staff will bother you, or ask if you need anything.

Went to The Cave to celebrate New Year's Eve. The drinks and music were great and the place itself had a really cool esthetic. It was probably due to the limited entrances/exits but the boncers kept the crowd to a minimum as well which was nice.

Venue is spectacular. Room was nice. Front desk personal were great, very helpful but there were not enough of them for the number of people that needed their help. Wait was slow. Bell hop and valet service was great. Breakfast buffet was cold.

Thanks

Generally enjoyed the hotel, but definitely not the Rosebrook Cafe because of the attitude of the one waitress.
We understand it s in the mountain area so bugs are unavoidable. But after finding a bug in my salad, we informed this waitress with glasses and a hair bun. She went: well, I don t see a bug. I pointed to her closer so she could even see the legs. And she said, ok, I ll get you another one. , then walked away. Without any apology at all, nor did she asked if I still had the appetite to have another bug-vulnerable salad. She acted like she is very used to this and absolutely untrained to work at an Omni hotel.

The property and building was spectacular. Staff were excellent. Unfortunately, many guests were rude, loud, and drunk. Over serving on alcohol, a lot of weddings and special events, thin walls (to be expected in a historic structure). Food was also limited, hit or miss, and expensive all the way around. Would highly recommend a visit for a tour of the property and hotel, but not to stay.

The good, the bad, and the ugly.

The good, the bad, and the ugly.
The good: the view of Mount Washington is still incredible and awe inspiring. Also the hotel itself is striking and the grounds are beautiful.
The bad: Housekeeping is slipping. They did not replace glassware we used in the room and they did not replace bath linens with the appropriate number of room guests.
The ugly: In management s infinite wisdom, they decided to demolish the outdoor pool, changing facility, and playground in the middle of August, instead of waiting until September when it would have been too cold to swim outside anyway. Also a nice touch, the resort fee, which includes the outdoor pool was unchanged. They referred us to a pool across the street... umm when you re paying 500-600/night, I m not hoofing it off the resort to go to the pool. I hope their expansion works out for them, I think the resort s ambition has taken their focus off of providing the service this hotel used to be known for.

Amazing. Good people and hard working staff. Some guest complaine about what others had said, but had no complaints themselves! Look, like one of the remarks mentions who half of them got good service; if you treat people with respect & dignity - anywhere - you get an excellent service, even from your doctor.
Overall, amazing people and beautiful place!
Thank you!

I do not recommend the Mount Washington Hotel. Stay somewhere else. The rooms were dirty, there was hair in my food, it was loud, very expensive (hotel and food), food was poor quality (super salty), and they charged us twice for our room. We have been trying to get the double charge resolved for 3 days now and the hotel is not responsive. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

We stopped in to have lunch at Stickney's. This is about our 8th time to this resort, always a good experience. I just wish the Omni would have left things alone, or better said, kept the place up, instead of changing it so much. Back in the day, this place was awesome, now it's too commercialized and different feel all together.

It's a great hotel, though very dated. I supposed that is part of the charm of this hotel though, but I couldn't help feel like I was in my grandma's house the entire time. Rooms are very cramped, furniture is dated, bathrooms are dated.

The is a beautiful location and it's historically significant, the conference that setup the post war economic framework was held here. We found the food to be OK but not outstanding.

Just ate there again and I'm downgrading from four stars to three. My steak was nearly inedible, it was way too salty and slightly over cooked. My companions scallops had a funky taste. The only thing that was good was the fish chowder.

The upside is that the service is excellent. We complained about the food and they comped us the steak and a dessert. We have eaten here a number of times and this is our only bad experience, hopefully it was an aberration because it's the first weekend of the summer season.

Hotel has a lot of charm and is beautifully located. However, cleanliness is an issue. Our bathroom was not clean, had men s shavings all over the toilet, cobwebs in the corners, dirty fingerprints on light switches, dirty windows, no fan in the bathroom... the list goes on. The exterior of the hotel is wearing and not being kept up with. Very disappointing given the beauty of the hotel and the price paid. There are other hotels in the area... stay elsewhere and just visit.

Everything is clean, and outside of front desk staff (first and last impression - bad impression) everyone very friendly and professional. Rooms HORRIBLY uncomfortable. Absolutely not worth the price. If you're looking for comfort, hit a nearby motel. If you're looking for overpriced coffee and food (though the service and quality in these areas were outstanding!), then stay here. Front desk staff, the bed that was, for all intents an purposes, a mushy bowl, and non-existent climate control in the room killed the deal for me. Had to open the windows to cool the room, and right outside the windows was the constant hum of the HVAC units heating and cooling everything but my room.

Wonderful grande dame resort hotel upgraded in recent years to make it compatible with the times. Wonderful service, location, experience. Very choice location at base on Mt Washington with splendid views and walking paths on premises as well as golf, pool, outdoor fire pits, spa, etc. Can't say enough about the hotel. Been here several times in the past few years. Always a special place to stay!

The hotel accommodated a special spa request I put in for my parents 50th wedding anniversary! They are staying in July 2018 and fulfilling a dream of theirs to stay at that hotel. Thank you to the staff for working with me to set this up. I'll post after their stay to give feedback on how it all was.

I don t know about the hotel, cause I never stayed there. But the overnight guy can t really remember his name. I think it was Jeffery. He was working on February 27th . Best Receptionist ever in my life. I needed information and and WiFi. This guy went beyond the limits and helped me. And I will make sure just cause of his Amazing behavior I would bring my family here. Cause that s the treatment we all should get.
