Hotel very clean. I stayed there again. There are many restaurants around and very close to museums. It is also very close to the walt disney concert hall and Dorothy Chandler music center.

Easy check in and friendly staff. Clean comfortable rooms. The restaurant is very nice. Sit out outside if you can, they have heaters out there. the Prix-fix menu was excellent. Even the pastry chef came out to see how I enjoyed her newly concocted dessert! It's walking distance to many eateries, Broad museum and the Disney Theater. Plenty of things to see and do. It's also a short distance from the Staples Center. I would definitely stay here again!
Beautiful hotel. Rooms are large and comfortable. Ensuite is pretty big and has bath and separate shower. As for the bed, I think I only used a 1/4 of it! Food in the bar on the third floor is tasty, I didn't check out the restaurant.
Wanted a quick getaway. Stayed at this beautiful Hotel at the beginning of DTLA. Love the entrance! Makes you feel important and sets the mood perfectly. Staff was extremely nice and courteous. Hotel was also close to the night life. The bar and lounge at the hotel was not too shabby either!
Meeting area was nice, hotel lobby clean and updated, very good location
Great service, clean rooms, easy check-in and check out process, friendly staff
Horrible service..for the price of a stay here you would think room service or any service would be top notch ...4 times I have had to call front desk to have a room service menu sent up and then 2 x I call to find find out any information on my order..then 45 mins later I m told $60.57 for 2 pizzas ...lol yeah right ..would have been better staying at a roach motel.
It was a comfortable clean room with a nice view overlooking the Disney Concert hall and the Broad. Walking distance from lots of iconic LA atrractions
Great location downtown LA. Room was ready and clean! The bartenders on the 3rd floor, really nice people!
Great location, spectacular rooms. Attached right to underground shops that have plenty of options.
Customer service was the best I've ever experienced from the valets to the restaurants to the room staff! Unbelievable concern for what we needed and how to best give it to us and always with a friendly smile.
I stayed here with my wife while she was attending a multi-day business meeting. The staff were courteous and attentive. I always felt like I was being taken care of. We stayed on one of the top two floors, so we had access to the guest lounge. It had a great view and the amenities (drinks and snacks during the day, self-serve bar with hot appetizers at night, and breakfast in the morning) were awesome. The location was also great, as it was within walking distance of the Broad Museum, Walt Disney Concert Hall, MOCA, and the Grand Central Market. I would highly recommend this hotel.
I had a Be Well massage and facial and it was wonderful.
Easy access, great location! Very comfortable. Excellent buffet, fresh with nice variety of choices. Great shower. Very pleasant. Willstay again whenever we go to LA.
Beautiful hotel was surprised that parking was $50 yes $50 a night
A friend and I met here for brunch and bottomless mimosas and had a fantastic time! The food was great, there was a huge selection with a variety of foods at the buffet, and the mimosas were appropriately strong. I will definitely be returning here.
I have stayed at this hotel several times over the years! Very convenient location and walking distance to all the restaurants and shopping center. Easy access to anywhere you want to go to! We're all happy because we could stroll around the place where the hotel is located. This is the perfect place for all of you. You will not get bored during your stay!
The Omni Hotel was amazing. Absolute class to be seen everywhere. You can tell from the minute you walk in the lobby that this place is going to be a very comfortable, plush stay with nothing but upper class amenities. Not a cheap place to stay at but well worth the money in the long run. Having family in the area means this place will get quite a bit of use from me in the future.
50 bucks for parking. Nice valet reception and delivery. Friendly delivery of bags. Great view of California plaza. Not free wifi.
Beautiful soft bed and pillows very clean lovely amenities great piano bar. Very friendly staff
Very average. I was expecting more for the price. Noe was not as good as I was hoping. Mold was in my shower too. I would go again probably but not under the impression of it being higher in class.
We've been staying at this hotel 4 - 6 times per year since before it was purchased by Omni and have always had a great experience.
Make sure you sign up for their rewards program and you will get free wifi and the beverage of your choice (two per person) delivered to your room in the morning starting with your second stay.
Finally, they have a town car available for pick up and drop off at local destinations (it's first come, first served so you may need to wait a bit). We use this whenever we go out to dinner or to the Ahmanson Theater.
Location is great. Services are horrendous. This is the second time I have given the Omni the benefit of the doubt. I am through. I know Peter Strebel believe each property should be unique, but does that mean there is no level of service standards?
I was not given instructions on the wifi. I was on my hands and knees cleaning up someone's hair on the floor. I felt like I was trying out for the Rams dodging all the room service trays, multiple times throughout the night.
Maybe others will have a better time here, but this has really soured my experience both at the Omni in LA and Omni's in general. $4 for club soda and a discrepancy in the parking cost ($49) didn't help either.

Great place and the price was amazing. Will stay here again
Very nice hotel. Not ce size rooms, huge bathrooms, comfy beds good service
We liked everything! The room was very clean, the furnitures were classic (which was the only thing we didn't like so much), the view was amazing. All the staff was friendly and happy to help you. There is also a plaza (that you discover if you visit the 3rd floor of the hotel) with many shops. From this plaza you can also take the historic "angels flight" train. The location is great as the hotel is a 5 min walk from the Walt Disney concert hall and the Broad. It is also a 1 min walk from MOCA. Further, it is near to the metro station in the 7th street, to the metro station Civic center and to the metro station Pershing.
Upscale hotel in down town LA, close to transportation and restaurants. Clean rooms, friendly staff, would stay here again.
The facilities and location we're great for my needs attending a conference at the convention center. The staff was helpful and kind. The only negative is that they were updating the WiFi which lead to some hallway noise and some spotty WiFi service.
I dropped my friend off, had to do valet parking to be at the hotel, went to use their restroom and I was fascinated by just seen the entrance..
Every year we go here and the menu is always different and it's always good
Great place to stay for being in the middle of LA's art and music world. Wonderful service and accommodations.
Love the room, and the view of Grand Performances.... such a fun night!
The staff goes out of their way to assist you with everything. The breakfast package was priceless and the quality of the food is the best. We also had some of the best sleep on the bed and perfect pillows.
We really enjoyed our four day stay at The Omni. The bed were very comfortable and the towels were thick. Shower had great water pressure. The food in the restaurants was excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Completely worth the money .
We went to the omni for the mothers day brunch. We had been last year and loved the food selection and service it was wonderful so we decided to go again this year.
Well this year was beyond disappointing and we won't be returning.
I sent an email to their customer relations department concerning the following:
The man on the omelette bar did not know how to make omelettes and was clueless on how to prepare one. My daughter asked him for an egg white omelette and also for an egg over hard and he said he could not do those items and did not know how.
The desert section was the smallest we have seen for brunch as the year before it was large with a mothers day cake and many fabulous desserts not this year.
No crab claws or sushi as they served the year before.
Everything about this brunch was disappointing for the price.
Won't go back, very dissppointing!
By the way their customer relations department never got back to me after I sent them an email about these issues.
Update. We went for Fathers Day Brunch and it was wonderful. Dragan the food and beverage manager offered us a complimentary buffet on Fathers Day since we had a less than great Mothers Day brunch. We loved the Fathers Day brunch they had everything we loved...Pig, seafood station, prime rib. Bass and wonderful omlette station with wow dessert bar. We will come back again. It was really improved.
Quiet rooms, poor coffee bar , no refrigerator in rooms,
Beautiful hotel. Convenient to downtown. Excellent staff service. Just skip the restaurants as they are overpriced and the food isn't all that great.
Typical resort prices on food and drinks but overall customer service top notch service
Beautiful hotel, and beautiful rooms. The food was great for the catered dinner. I really look forward to going back
It's disappointing there wasn't a mini fridge for our use - it was filled with expensive drinks instead. So we had to make do with an ice bucket, and I'm sorry, but if you're having someone pay $600/night I find that unacceptable. We enjoyed our stay at Omni Los Angeles Hotel at California Plaza. If you can afford to splurge, it's definitely a very nice hotel to stay at. The level of customer service really made the experience that much better
Very good location, good rooms and very good service
Very nice hotel and updated rooms. Awesome front desk staff. Great location
Great location and price. Walking distance to Perch and Grand Central Market, across the street from the Broad. Good for families, adults, any group that is looking for a quality hotel experience. Looking forward to my next stay at the Omni.
great service, delicious food and desert, beautiful view. great for a date
The hotel is good, but the price tag is just way too high for a "good" hotel
Rooms were clean, staff was friendly. No complaints here. I had a good stay!
I was very disappointed by this property. For over $269 a night - I wish I had had a more enjoyable experience.
Arrivng early in the day, room wasn't ready, so I checked my bag with the bellman. Later in the day, after checking in, I asked for my bag. The person at the front desk (there were 3 at the time) said the bellman was busy assisting another guest and that I should take my claim ticket to the door man and he would get my bag for me. Really? The doorman was roughly 50 feet away from the front desk. Couldn't the person at the front desk have gone and done this for me if they were truly interested in helping me? Obviously they were not.
Bewildered, I got to my room (1622) and immediately crashed being so tired from traveling all day...not really noticing the room or the amenities. Bed was comfortable though. When I woke up, I realized they had booked me into a wheel chair accessible room. Pretty much everything, shower included, was mounted at about 3.5 feet off the ground with huge hand rails around everything. I'm 6 foot 5 inches tall so this was not the "ideal" room for me. You would think that the person that checked me in would have realized this...
On my way out for a day full of meetings, I stopped at the front desk to complain about the room. They offered to switch me to a new room, gave me new keys, and said that my bag would be placed in the new room fro me. Wonderful, right? Umm, no. I returned late in the day to find that they had moved me to (601), sixth floor front corner of building. There is a VERY busy thoroughfare that runs in front of the Omni. Traffic running pretty much all hours of the day and night. Well, there was an hour or so around 3am where there wasn't much noise.
This, and the room, especially the bathroom tile, was in very poor condition. I will post pictures.
On top of all this, the internet connection was constantly kicking me off. Calling the front desk for help with this - gets you transferred to offsite IT help. Second time I called, front desk transfers me, the IT person picked up, I explain the situation. They told me that front desk had transferred me to wrong IT dept and that he (person from IT) would notify the front desk of this and my problem and that front desk would get back to me. They, the front desk or IT never did get back to me. I ended up fumbling around and fixing it myself.
AGAIN - NOT MUCH CUSTOMER SERVCE HERE.
I have traveled to many countries and have been fortunate enough to stay at several fine establishments, Westins, JW Marriotts, Oberois, and this place is not one of them.
I only give it 2 stars because it is in a very good location.
Very convenient location and nice big rooms. Walls a little thin as we can hear the corridor thru the night..
The food and service was excellent. Used a Groupon and had a wonderful anniversary dinner with my wife.
This shitty hotel requires international customers to be over 21 to live in here. We were not told this when we booked it. Rude receptionist.
Centrally located reliable chain hotel. I've stayed here many times on business without any issue. There is free meter parking along the street in the evenings when going out with friends. Friendly hardworking staff.
Had a great experience here. Fantastic bell guys. Very clean.
I had such a relaxing time at this hotel. The service was great!
Comfortable bed, great location, refrigerator and great a/c. Small bath tub,but great view
Coordinated a conference there. The staff couldn't have been more attentive. Great customer service.
This is a wonderful Hotel. It is truly lovely, very friendly staff, beautiful rooms, great amenities, and I loved the ease of using valet parking.

This hotel always exceeds my expectations when i m in LA . The room is always spotless and absolutely beautiful . Worth the price !
Beautiful, clean, and quiet. That's all you need to know.
Average hotel. Rooms do not have tooth brush, shaving kit, drinking water etc.
Great location, great food choices, great front desk staff and concierge. First time to LA, felt supported by staff!
