Convenient location. Great service. Clean, comfortable room. Terrific bar with tasty drinks. But, bring your own power strip/power block if you have phones/watches/devices to charge, as the working power outlets in my room were either in use, or in an inconvenient location away from the bedside.

The location was about .5 miles from the Civic center metro stop which was extremely connvenient. I attended a professional event there recently. It was a good space. I could not eat meat that Friday I attended, so i had a beans and rice vegetarian dish. It was disappointing. However, everything else met my expectations.

Totally fine. A decent hotel that will work for almost all situations. A surprisingly stocked minibar in my room was a pleasant surprise, but this seems to be more common these days for hotels geared toward business travelers. This hotel is geared toward business travelers.

The king room was quite nice and had a decent view, and was decently priced. I'm not a fan of hotels that have a huge focus on their conference space, which were large and aplenty. Stayed here for a wedding, so options were limited. There are better choices for leisure travelers and I would definitely recommend staying somewhere "cooler" if you have the option. The Standard or any Kimpton hotel might be more fun, but may not have the room size and view the Omni offer.

Nice hotel, clean rooms, courteous staff. They can t deliver a package, however. Fedex package had been delivered for me at the front desk and despite repeated inquiries over four days with the concierge they didn t get it to me. It was critical to my business. So that s the reason for three stars.

We booked a premier view room which had to have a view of California Plaza or the brood / concert hall, instead had the street view. I could have asked to change the room but I was too tired!
Excluding this, it's a great hotel! Large and clean room as well as bathroom. Being on a high floor the room was silent, otherwise I think a bit of noise would have felt due to the proximity to the busy street. The location is great for visiting Downtown. Nearby there is the metro station, the brood, concert hall, markets, the city hall, the museum of contemporary art, the spanish district , Japanese district and Chinese district. It's true that in the evening there are not many people around being the business district and there are many homeless people, but they do not bother and homeless in Los Angeles are somewhere everywhere. Breakfast is good and large although it starts a little late.
Returning to Los Angeles I would go back to this hotel!

I may add more stars if someone ever gets around to rectifying a several hundred dollar vallet issue I just recently discovered when I inspected my bank statement. I agreed to using vallet service upon check in. We were standing in front of hotel more than an hour before they brought it up. Causing us to miss our reservation. We informed the front desk we wanted the vallet canceled we would use the self park lot instead. We were assured the service would be canceled. We stayed 4`nights every day shows the vallet fee, every one followed by a self park fee. Aside from the terribly managed vallet Our stay was decent nothing special to speak of. Definitely nothing to justify $800 on Parking alone. I did try to speak to someone over the phone I was quickly cut off and put on hold for a good 20 min before I hung up. I thought the email would be more effective. As I'm writing this I'm hoping I don't have to write this again.

I thought this was a really good hotel. I would stay here again. Breakfast was good. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly. Parking can be a little difficult if it was busy because of the whole double parking situation. If you park behind someone you have to leave your phone number on your car dashboard so they can call you to move your car. If you don't, your car can possibly be towed. That would be the only inconvenient thing about the hotel. Luckily, we didn't have that issue.

I stay here on the order of a dozen times per year. It's an excellent business hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable and quiet. Room service is fine. The shoe shine service is fine. Check-in is extremely rapid if you're a member of their rewards club. Just pick up your key and go up to the room. I wish their Wifi Internet were faster, and I wish the room service pizza tasted better.

the OMNI Hotel in LA is one of the best hotels I have stayed at in the world. the thing I like the most is that any individual I interact with anywhere in the hotel will reletlessly dedicate him or herself to helping me get what I need or solve my problem. It is really quite awesome. thanks guys,.

The Omni has an excellent location, near Disney Hall, The Broad, and the theater district. Lots of good restaurants are located within walking distance, but the hotel's restaurant Noe is a great choice.

Horrible Customer service is all I have to say. You would expect a hotel that is supposed to be a 5 star hotel you could simply order room service but you can't. It took me all day to get a hold of someone only to be transferred and put on hold. I left a few messages to be called back and no one returned the phone calls. I finally had enough and had to cancel my order.

I've never stayed overnight at the Omni, but it's got a great upscale bar and restaurant. It also has a flame-heated patio where lit cigars are welcome. No Happy Hour though, as of this writing.

Terrible service. Overpriced food. I had a Groupon so maybe I didn't get the best service because of that but I definitely won't be going back. Be aware that there are 2 parking structures built into each other and they will validate for one side, but not the other. Also be aware that after 10 they lock the parking structure and you have to get through a labyrinth to find your car. All of it sucked.

Wonderful service. Elegant decor and comfortable beds. My personal favorite is the fruit flavored water in the lobby. The food was good and they made special accommodations for our dietary needs. The doormen and valet are friendly and they remember our name. My daughter loves the waterfall outside; it's always a must see for her. I would highly reccomend this hotel for your home away from home.

Beautiful hotel in downtown L.A. Excellent service and very professional and courteous staff. The only downside is the pricey overnight parking fee ($49) per night. We stayed there three times and we LOVE this hotel....They will even give complimentary rides in the hotel town car within 3 miles of the hotel...

I went here with a friend from out of town. They were so happy with what a beautiful place it was. I like it because staff is attentive and drinks are well served. I always drink whiskey on the rocks but my friend's cocktails were great. The surrounding is beautiful and with LA weather, it's the perfect place for drinks. The dress code is casual but we were in semi formal wear and we felt very comfortable and not out of place. I would recommend this to anyone looking to have a nice chat over some drinks.

Beautiful hotel with very spacious rooms! Treats provided at check-in, and the complimentary infused water is DELICIOUS.

To note: Valet parking is VERY expensive per day ($52), so we looked for other options. We got lucky a few nights to find street parking across the street. If you don t, look on SpotHero for one of the $8 lots.

Stayed here as an overnight guest and I have to say, omni hotels are really nice! The decor to me was nothing special but was high end. It felt pretty generic. However, it's always the small things. Free morning Juice or coffee delivered. Free pressings or shining. Free courtesy shuttle. Free macaroons at the front desk. The only thing that sucks is parking is crazy expensive and we could not for the life of us find a good alternative. Why do LA lots forbid overnight parking!!

Pretty dated building. Not terrible, but the shower temperature was pretty unpredictable (a major minus). Also, the air vent shield slid off at one point and left a gaping, dusty hole in the wall. Ew.

The downstairs bar/bistro was so-so, but they took forever to serve us. I had to get up and look for them repeatedly to ask for things like silverware and condiments.

The daily breakfast (at additional cost and somewhat pricey) was fantastic and had an abundant selection, plus they more than made up for the poor bistro experience with their attentiveness and friendly attitudes.

The entrance is ridiculously difficult to find if you're driving there for the first time and following Google Maps directions, and the website directions do nothing to help.

Concierge is super helpful and there's a free shuttle service so you don't have to drive or Uber around if you're staying local.

All pluses and minuses considered, it's a three.

The Omni Los Angeles is a very beautiful and comfortable hotel in the heart of downtown LA. The rooms are quite large in comparison to other hotel rooms in the DTLA area and the rooms have some nice little perks that really make you feel comfortable.

Here are the little things that make a big difference about the Omni LA:

1. There is a standup shower and a separate tub in the bathroom.
2. The coffee maker is a single-serve Keurig with great coffee pod choices.
3. The TV in the room comes standard with a Google Chromecast, so you can cast from any device to the TV. Works like a charm.
4. The room has a mini-fridge for leftovers or keeping drinks nice and frosty.
5. The hotel staff is top-notch. Excellent customer service and very accommodating.
6. The hotel location is perfect to walk around the city and see the eclectic independent shops, restaurants and bars.

If you are looking for a hotel in downtown Los Angeles, feel confident in booking at the Omni Los Angeles.

Great place to enjoy a variety of all you can eat dishes. Be sure to be seated outside and enjoy the view of the MOCA which is right next door to this venue. Make sure to come here for the brunch.

The location was perfect considering we were going to see a show downtown and the theater was a block-and-a-half away. The rooms were spacious clean and beautiful. We ate at two of the restaurants there one for breakfast, and one for dinner. Both were excellent and the food was delicious and the price tag didn't hurt either. All around we had a wonderful time and I would definitely recommend the Omni Hotel to anyone who wants to go downtown and stay for a night or two
