Housekeeping never showed up to clean the room! Ordered room service never showed up. Upon checking in they cannot find the 3rd room key I reserved. I called manager I was on hold for 30 min end up getting disconnected! Don t get fooled by cheap rate I will rather stay at Marriott for extra bucks but service is excellent!

It's an upscale, but outdated hotel. We were stayed there for a wedding, but there was also a large convention based at the hotel and the infrastructure of the hotel wasn't able to handle that many guests. When we arrived, the entire driveway was blocked by cars and we couldn't get around them into the parking lot. Upon our arrival and throughout our stay, there massive delays to get into cramped elevators, which then stopped at nearly every floor, including multiple guests traveling between floors. Getting from the lobby to a high floor room or vice versa could be a 20+ minute endeavor. On our first night, we were awoken at 3am to repeated loud knocking at our door. When I went to see who it was, I saw an intimidating man holding some towels that we hadn't requested, so I was confused and called the front desk. They said they'd look into it, but I didn't hear back. Considering that the doors and elevators weren't secured by key card access, I still don't know if that person actually worked for the hotel. The price was reasonable, the location was ok (minus all the nearby road construction) and the room was comfortable enough, yet outdated. If I need to stay in that area again, I would opt for a different and newer hotel.

This hotel has truly not being of my expectations at all. Not worth a $150. Who stops shuttle services at 10 o'clock on New Years Eve?!! Oh, gotta go, elevators out. I have to take the service elevators#enuffsaid#smdh

I have stayed at the Omni Las Colinas many times over the past 10 years. I have always enjoyed my stay, but when I stayed at the hotel between Christmas and New Year that was a different story. When we booked the hotel we weren't told about the renovations in the lobby, which meant that the lobby was filled with loud construction every day. The restaurant opened for breakfast while we were there, and we were so disappointed with it that we only ate there once.

Added to all of this, the air conditioning in our room was not working(and was actually blowing hot air). After an engineer tried to fix it multiple times at 3am, and tried to convince us it was fixed, we had a dreadful night sleep. We were finally able to move the following night, but the sleepless night really affected our trip. Having said this, and after complaining to corporate, we did get a night free. Which was very much appreciated.

Fantastic customer service! Most impressed with John and the Security team who retrieved my property that I accidentally left behind in my room and ensured that it was returned to me at my place of residence. They went completely over and above. I will certainly be back!

Super outdated. Stains on lampshades. Broken light fixtures, broken makeup mirror. Toilet old very low to ground. Bed was worn out. View was great from 18th floor. Walking distance to everything.

Great view from the 27th floor, comfortable room. Outlet ny the bed and by some chairs made it easy for me to plug in or charge my devices with ease. Room had all the space and amenities that I would expect from a hotel in this price point. Didn't use the restaurant or any other amenities outside of the room but they were available. The snack bar and mini fridge items were a bit pricey, but the prices were in line with other places so while more than I would want to spend it might be fine for others. Wish that I didn't have to sign up for thier free loyalty program for free wifi access, but I expect to stay here again so it wasn't a big deal.

My wife and I love coming here for our stay-cations. Close to great places to eat and Dallas night life. BUTTTT... I hate that they do not bring breakfast to the rooms anymore with the Bed and Breakfast package. I was looking forward to having breakfast in my room with my wife for our anniversary again only to find out that we had to go down to the restaurant instead of having it brought up to us. I will not be purchasing the Bed and Breakfast package ever again because of this change.

The rooms are nice and clean but the manager, Antonio, was very rude and aggressive towards me because his staff in the outside bar area told him that I had a cooler in the pool area, even though they did not once see me carrying a cooler! As a woman, I felt so threatened by Antonio s aggression that I had to call my husband down to intervene, at that point he apologized as he realized that he and his staff were wrong. Very unprofessional, I will not be going back there!

Amazing hotel and staff. We stayed here for my husbands birthday and it truly did not disappoint. The room was amazing and the view even better. The grounds are very well taken care of and the staff really goes above and beyond. They have a car service that is complementary to use which was super convenient as well. They brought us a complementary birthday cake and champagne to celebrate his birthday and took amazing care of us during our stay!

Very outdated hotel...needs a major overhaul. This is the first Omni that I didn't like. Breakfast is not worth $22 per person. Most hotels have the same breakfast[FREE]!!! Very disappointed.

Got the Corner Suite. Unbelievable room great hall way. All the amenities. Bidet, comfy furniture. The only complaint I have is that the balcony isn't wide enough. Would be cool to drag some chairs out and chill.

I just walked in because of curiosity, I live in an apartment on the lake right next door, and it was beautiful. Had a guy playing the Piano in the main lobby and was clean and seemed of high class. I would stay here...if I didn't live right next door.

The hotel is very nice and the staff is very professional. I do feel that for the price of the hotel, there could be more complementary amenities. It seems a bit greedy to charge for items that other hotels provide for free, like WiFi.

Nice looking hotel and very courteous staff. Health center had treadmills and ellipticals for cardio and a few strength machines but not much in the way of free weights. Breakfast served is nice. French toast is thick and they fry good omelets and bacon. Every other item like the sausage and oatmeal pancakes needed more taste I suppose. Yogurt and fruits are also served as well as pastries. No cheeses except for some goat cheese. Rooms AC are very good. I wish there was a guide to direct you through the channels on the TV. Room was immaculate, including the bathroom.

I was walking on the canal with family and decided to grab dessert at the hotel just for fun. We went to the poolside restaurant downstairs and enjoyed the night near the fire pit. There was only one waitress but she was so sweet and amazing. Definitely coming back for a staycation!

Wedding Coordinator/Catering Sales Manager

Wedding Coordinator/Catering Sales Manager

Planning a wedding is an emotional and taxing journey as it is and in the midst of that, to have anyone with a bad attitude just puts you over the edge. I had picked Omni Mandalay s Mandalay Ballroom for a pre-wedding function (Henna/Mehndi Party) and was working with Courtney Hoffman.
My family and I had met with Courtney Hoffman and she was initially enthusiastic and seemed pleasant - being a bride that is what I looked for in a coordinator. However, once she realized that we did not wish to host more than one pre-wedding function with the hotel (due to our personal preference) she was utterly unprofessional and impolite. Her lack of grace could have been attributed to a bad day however she left the meeting with me and my entire family by walking out!!
Not a thank you or even a bye . What we were stunned by is how does Omni hire someone who is so rough around the edges and put her to work in the hospitality division. When it comes to wedding, every couple and family wants to feel catered to. We had compared our experience to that at Omni Park West (Ross and Molly at Omni Park West are fantastic!! entirely a pleasure to work with) and also mentioned to Courtney how they had thrown in a complimentary cake. When asked if she would be willing to do the same, a flat and rude reply followed No, I would never do that .
Courtney is mistaken that people will flee to the property for its location, while the location is beautiful and central, her curt behavior is sure to drive everyone away. It is not uncommon to try and negotiate quoted prices however we were willing to pay the asked prices or even above as long as we were met with courtesy. We understood that at the end of the day it is a business deal but I wouldn t want to spend on such harsh service.
This all being said, fortunately for us Courtney s unpolished behavior made us look somewhere else and we found a superior and more gorgeous banquet hall.

This place is great! I was there during several conventions. That wasn't and issue. My room was beautiful and mostly quiet minus the neighbors with children. The location is fairly convenient to allow of earrings and shopping. My view was awesome. The anemia were in working order and clean. My one issue is the staff does not understand the concept of a service or therapy dog. The young lady asked my for registration. There is no REAL registration for a service dog. All of those things were created to stop harassment from people questioning other about their service animal if they did not see something obvious, like a blind person. I told the girl I have no registration and do not carry my letter from my therapist suggesting a therapy animal. She does wear a vest that reads "service animal". I was a bit annoyed by that. I'd think the staff would be better trained on situations like that. My dog is 11 lbs and do not walk loosley on any floors. So she pissed no threat unless someone was attacking ME. That is a serious subject for me and for that I gave the place 3 stars. Otherwise its a great older hotel with nice upgrades!
