Had a great stay at the Omni Atlanta hotel. It had a nice central location within walking distance from many restaurants and activities. Rooms were clean and updated. Had excellent service from valet, bellman, front desk, & housekeeping.

Excelente, I am a Housekeeping Supervisor in a hotel Orlando, and always check the rooms and beds before my family enter into the room, and is my first time in this hotel, and I guarantee is one of the best. I highly recommended, very very clean, good beds, exelent rooms great view, good price if you book with time. The only thing is that they need to add clocks or something that can provides usb charger. Amazing hotel good location.
Staff was great and friendly and only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the amount of charges and taxes associated with the transaction. When I booked I was told parking would be $35 but ended up being $45. There was also an issue with late night goers on our floor but security was on top of it.
The hotel was very intriguing and nicely laid out, but the beds felt a bit cheap and the valet machines were both broken. Enjoyed the stay, but at the same time expected better.
I like these rooms better than the JW , very nice and you will sleep comfortably on the bed ( I'm a stickler for a nice mattress). My biggest pet peeve and problem was that you could not get a wake up call or any service by calling anyone at any time ever. Either no one was available to ever take your call or this is somewhat of a self service type hotel.
Customer service not really that good considering what we paid for these rooms. They didn't tell us what tower we were suppose to park in and then valet was expensive especially when it was raining and they parked my car in the lot not covered then we had to wait to leave.
I was fortunate to be able to attend the Oprah Winfrey tour show in this amazing facility. There really is nothing negative to say about this location. The only challenging parts of the experience are those that are everywhere in very large cities like Atlanta. We overcame the first challenge, parking, by hiring an Uber driver to drop us of and come back to take us home. The folks had a simple and excellent, fast moving line to get inside, the security check was quick and efficient, and those escalators were a dream come true! The steps to our seats were too steep for my 73 year old strength, but the rails were sturdy and I held on tight! The lunches were served quite efficiently and they were good. Because the trek to and from our seats was very difficult and trying we chose not to go down and back again, so the only remaining option was to sit and eat on the floor BECAUSE THERE WAS NO OTHER PLACE TO SIT! Surely some chairs or benches could be placed (secured or not) along the walls for those of us who really should not and often cannot get down and back up from sitting on the floor. Otherwise, this is a wonderful, well-planned place for large crowds, and seeing and hearing Oprah was phenomenal! Thank to whoever's pulled that together. It was a wonderful, memorable experience!
Attended a conference at GA World Conference Center and some sessions were held at the Omni Hotel. It was a pleasant experience. It was an easy transition from one building to the other. Nice ambience. No complaints.
I stayed two nights here. Do not. I repeat do not stay unless you want to pay 45 dollar night for valet parking that you cannot access. I say that because I have been currently waiting over a hour on valet line at 1am on Saturday night. They also charge an extra 100 hold on rooms with no microwave. Once again i have read all 200 reviews and still had time to write this review without moving a I inch. Worst valet service imaginable.
The best hotel I've ever stayed at. My family and I stayed here for the weekend and downstairs was the CNN headquarters and we were able to take a tour. There was a great restaurant in the hotel that served these delicious chicken sandwiches! On the first night, our child received complimentary room service with cookies and milk. Upon check in our child received a backpack filled with goodies like stickers, playing cards, crayons, coloring book, and a cup. The hotel was super close to the Philips Arena and the Aquarium. Nocomplaints
Very big hotel. Room service was great. I didn't feeling safe walking, the location was in a very poverty stricken area. There was homeless people everywhere. But I did enjoy the sight seeing inside.
We just left,2 night stay.Very Disappointed.(Lady at check out couldn't have cared less to what we had to say.)We stayed in room 1410,in the building under construction.(They do not make you aware of this at booking-they just email you 3 days prior.)Figuring if they are still allowing us to stay in the building,it should be ok.Nope!Loud & messy on ground floor, you had to walk around and avoid the painting ect being done.1 set of Elevator's is down so you have to wait in a line for 20mins to use the other 2 that are working.(We were on the 14th floor,so annoying.)Our room-1410 had no view (other than the rooms in other building) which was disappointing because we had made it a point that we were coming from Fl and would have liked a view of the city.We had issues with our Ac,tech came out then after returning from our night out learned our heater didn't work. The mirror in the bathroom is broken, mold in the shower, carpet near bed looks like it is never vacuumed. Also, beware of the valet charge.$90 for 2 nights is ridiculous! The only good thing about this place is location (we walked to everything).Beware!!!
Good location and friendly service, though we checked in late at night. Room was a bit stuffy but had a great view from the 18th floor. Very clean and decently spacious.
You have to pay an outrageous price for vallet parking or park at a garage down the street. I thought I was getting a good deal on the room but didn't realize this. Also, this is the ugliest most outdated Hyatt I ever stayed at
Excellent staff, very helpful and accommodating. Made us feel right at home and the rooms and hotel in general was extremely clean and modern with a cozy feel about it. Everyone from the front desk attendant to the security and all the cleaning staff are very professional and courteous. Also the hotel has a great view of centennial park and if there is a music event going on its the best hotel to be in!! Deffitly would recommend this hotel all year but 100% for a spot if there is a festival in town!!
A series of highs and lows. Our first room was in the South tower, it was outdated and overpriced compared to a comparable room in the North tower. Additionally, the elevators were super slow in the South tower. It felt like waiting for the train, overcrowded and slow when it finally arrived. We asked to be moved to the North tower, which was nice and faced downtown, worth every penny.
Hotel rooms and facilities are very nice. Bell hop and check in were very efficient. That's where the 5 star rating stopped. Vallet was extremely slow and made no effort to attempt to improve. The rooms are adequate in size but housekeeping leaves much to be desired. Dusty vents, strange substances on door frames etc... Please be aware this hotel allows pets for a large fee. If you get a room in the proximity of a ridiculously yappy poodle they will do nothing to assist. Actually they will send security to knock on the door, however yappy poodles see that as reason to bark more. Food options are plentiful however close at 8 pm. Overall with better management and attention to detail this hotel could be 5 stars, however their apathy and lack of follow through makes them lose a couple stars.
Hotel asked us to provide a review, so here it is.... Shower broke when we tried to use it (faucet actually came out of wall attached to pipe). Called desk to request new room. Told no rooms available. Maintenance came to check situation and realized it was a major failure and contacted hotel to get us a new room, which they did (wait....so they lied to us in the beginning?). So running late for our meeting, but now had a working shower. Realized that in the confusion of changing rooms that a piece of clothing had been left behind, so called guest services to retrieve it for us and put in our new room (we had handed in old keys when we changed room), and we left for our meeting. Came back to room later that night and no garment and no phone call on room phone.. Called next morning about it again and gave them our cell number. No reply after over an hour, so called again just before we checked out and they said the room was now occupied so could not check on garment. They were going to check when they had access to the room and possibly mail us the garment. Never heard from anyone. Have asked the hotel to provide a response to us on this horrible experience, so hoping they will make this situation right.
The hotel is in a great location, so if you're in town to go to the aquarium, World of Coke, MLK center, I would recommend this place. The time of service for check in / out and the bellhop could be improved.
The Hotel, and the hotel staff were amazing. What brings this to a 3 star and almost to a 2 star review is the 3rd party valet service that operates in the hotels two parking garages. First off we were staying in the south tower, yet my girlfriends car was parked in the north tower. Today when we got ready to leave well to put stuff in our car they offered to walk up to the car so we can put stuff in the car and then go finish our day in Atlanta. When we got to the car we noticed that it was touching the car behind it park right up against it to where you could not get a slip of paper in between. We proceeded to go to hotel management who came down with us with the valet management to inspect the car and lo and behold when we got there the car behind ours had been moved backwards. I know that they had to move the car behind ours because we took our key with us. The entire Valley staff was rude any time we spoke to any of them and upon reflection now that we're home I would really like to know why when we got in the car this morning to come home the car radio is on if you're in the car only long enough to park it why do you need to turn the radio on? Then when my girlfriend's mother and father went to get their car which was all on the same ticket they would not let them get their car for 45 minutes because they had to go see the front desk for some strange reason. The bill had already been paid and as a matter of fact thanks to Maria who was managing the hotel front desk the valley will have been refunded to us do to my girlfriend's car being up against the other car. Once again had it not been for Maria the desk manager in the South Tower this morning this would have been a one-star review so whoever at the Omni reviews these needs to give her some recognition
Atlanta has gotten extremely rude. People have no manners. Especially the men. A doorman at this hotel was standing by the door, so as I'm leaving I'm expecting him to open the door. Not only because he worked there but also because I'm a woman. But he steps aside so that I can open it myself. Smh! If chivalry isn't dead, its definitely on life support!
