Overall the experience was well. The pros of the hotel was it was clean and beautiful and the employees were beyond sweet and helpful. Cons was that they did not mention that it s a $45 fee per day to leave your car at the hotel. Also, the maids cleaning the room just fixed the sheets and move on to the next room. They do have WiFi but be careful because they will overcharge without you being aware. This hotel does try to find extra ways to charge you but it was a well experienced visit and stay in the hotel. I would recommend to others but also tell them the hidden fees.

The staff was helpful and kind. They didn't mention the liability fee was $100/night. You're supposed to get that back 5-7 days after your stay. We shall see!

We attend Walker Stalker Con every year & drive from M.D to G.A. Last year we stayed at Omni Atl, because it is right next to the convention center. This year we already booked a room at the Omni for Walker Stalker Con Atl 2018, which is in October. The staff was very nice, accommodating, helpful. The restaurant inside the hotel had great food & the waitresses & waiters were always so sweet. Definitely recommend.
Comfortable beds.
Great room service.
Wifi.

Negatives:
Price.
Have to pay for parking.
But let me add that most hotels around there make you pay for parking. Around $30 a day & you get what you pay for. I highly recommend the Omni Atl.

The employees were extremely friendly and helpful, even the cleaners I passed while waiting for the elevator were more than happy to wish me a nice day and give me directions to where I needed to go. The view from my room overlooked the Olympic Park and city. Great place to stay!

There is absolutely no difference when booking a deluxe room verses a premier room. Save your money and do not let this hotel take advantage of you.

The only good thing about this hotel was the location, it's pretty in walking distance to all the main tourist attractions. Upon checking in there is a $100 deposit required for each night, and valet parking was the only parking available and it's $45 a night. So your're out of extra money for that. I had 2 rooms on my reservation, the rooms were on separate floors. We had to get clean sheets, ours had spots all over them. So like I said, the location is the only things that's going for this hotel.

The bed was hard and springy and there was no full length mirror in the room. No other complaints. Amenities were amazing; the food court and four restaurants made it really convenient during the convention (Dragon con 2016). There was even an actual bath mat on the bathroom floor. I've never seen that at a hotel before.

Frankly, I don't know what I was expecting when I went in there. Was I surprised? Yes ! From my experience the centre has a rich and exciting history if that's your calling. Home to the longest free standing elevator with only two supports (one at the bottom and one at the top ) in the world, CNN head quarters, a hotel and lots of restaurants on the ground floor.
If you are near the centre and looking for for a meal don't fret, just walk into the CNN centre. The tour doesn't occur on the ground floor but you have to get your tickets there, go through security and use the elevator to arrive at the beginning of your tour session.
Afyer taking your sovenier picture, It takes an estimated 50 minutes, no toilets breaks, no videos or flash photos at all and no photos past the 2nd level and no rolling bags allowed to accomplish the tour.
Your tour guides talks about the history of CNN in brief and modus operandi, a brief stop to see the workers in action and finally exiting through the gift shop should spour some excitement.
I haven't a clue why the pictures cost the amount thay do . FYI -its not free. They print it and its easily available to you at the end of your tour, you have the option to opt out or buy it.

Nice place, friendly staff, great area to walk around and get out. Clean and luxurious hotel for I did get the King room. Why 2 star? Didn't include guest wifi. I have to pay extra on top of 200 bucks a night? I could understand if I got a standard room, but I booked a King... would expect to have some form of cheap internet to continue working.
Is that harsh? No. King room even comes with a work station but no supplemental network services. A first for me tbh.
If I was here for a week, I prob would've just bought it *If it is not per day... think it is actually*
But if I was here for a week, I prob wouldn't get a king and would likely be in an office most of the time anyway.

I want to first give a shout-out to Keith the concierge. When I was trying to find the parking at the hotel, he took the time to speak with me on my phone directing me to the it and didn't hang up until I found it. The hotel is convenient to all in Downtown Atlanta. When we checked in, the person there told us we were being upgraded to a suite. Disclosure: We try to stay at Omni Hotels whenever possible and are a member of their platinum class. We have been satisfied with the times we have stayed at one and this was no exception. Our room had a balcony that overlooked the Georgia Dome. The service was exceptional as well from the check in to the parking attendants and of course Keith. The fitness center is well maintained as well. You will not go wrong staying here.

Pretty good for a #fakehotel!
All jokes aside, it's a cool hotel with some neat views of the CNN Center, it's clean, and the staff are polite. The decor in our room looked a little dated and it was smaller than I usually get in that price range, but it wasn't the end of the world. Overall, a pretty good experience.

I would say the best thing I can say about this place is just the location and the front desk girl was very pleasant. I expected more overall...valet was slow and pricey - $45 per guest car per night took around 20-25 mins for them to retrieve our car (they do say expect a 15mins wait). Rooms were not that spacious and could use some remodeling. Their doors slams so loud that I couldnt sleep all night with people slamming doors and the room service workers were also noisy. Place was alittle confusing too. Definitely for the price I felt like I couldve stayed at a better place.

Very dated rooms, and the bathroom is terrible. The bathtub backs up and the showerhead and fixtures are just not what I'd expect for this type of hotel with the rating it has. Also, on day two of my stay, I've already had to have my room key reset both times I tried to return to my room; literally the last thing I'm interested in doing after working the exhibit hall all day next door. Overall very disappointed. With all the business they get from the convention center, I just expected more from this hotel. Especially, like I said, with the rating it has...I just don't see it.

I had worst experience at Omni hotel I was very unsatisfied, we had booked room for our honeymoon for the north tower unfortunately we had to stay in Omni at CNN they charged me around $250 for the north tower but the cost for Omni at CNN is around $90 worst hotel experience I ever had. I had to pay extra $45 mandatory for parking. After a long and tiring wedding day we had a very small and compact room with a very bad view. $250 a night I expect better. The only reason we had booked Omni hotel is because we wanted to see sunset view and enjoy our time but it didn t go as planned because of the Omni hotel. Every day I do regret why I booked this hotel and wasted my honeymoon memories. I would rather pay same amount and stay at Westin or some other higher end hotels where we can experience better stay. Customer service is huge downfall and not a priority. NO way I would recommend this hotel to any of my colleagues.

Went in the area for the park, but got tired so went to the CNN center to hang out. Absolutely loved it! The food options are great and the environment is nice and exciting. And one more thing: that escalator though!

A wonderful place to stay if visiting downtown Atlanta. I enjoyed every moment of it. The beds are nice and plush and the window view of the hotel is breath taking especially because we went there during the fourth of July. I would definitely come again.

A really truly beautiful hotel. The atrium is phenomenal. My room was incredible and extremely luxurious. While standard rates for a room here are understandably expensive, I was able to secure a great rate via a third party site - so let take my advice and look at all your options before booking a room. Either way, the location is convenient to most downtown spots and I would stay here again given the opportunity.

I won't stay at this Omni again and unless it under went a remodel. The rooms are dark and dated long with the lobby in the south tower. There are water stains on the ceiling and the chandeliers look like they haven't been dusted in months. I was with a group of 700 and 2 elevators and 2 escalators didn't work for 4 days in the north tower. Guest had to use the service elevators to get to the rooms.

The receptionist made it her business to make sure my room is perfect. But my sink and my tub drain slowly. It had hair in it. And when I sit on my toilet,it had hair and tissue in the toilet ,but other than that was a great stay.

I was at the Omni for a professional event, so I did not see the actual rooms. The event was fantastic and well managed. I hope to stay here in the future as it seems like a lovely hotel and the staff are friendly and accommodating.
