The entire experience w Olde Wood was wonderful. The showroom staff was helpful in our selection . The home sample kit gave us confirmation of the color and finish that we were choosing. They recommended fantastic installers. Olde Wood delivered in quality and the old wood uniqueness that we were looking for.
The showroom looks great and the idea is awesome. What actually arrives is not what you see there. Trying to deal with the business to own and correct issues was a nightmare (milling issues, planer marks, different size beveled edges and more) and the tongue and groove that they (Olde Wood) milled made the floor unlevel and they blamed the floor installer. Unreal! Someone would come out to look at the issues and tell me one thing, and then I'd get a message back from the office that was completely different. Never again will I work with Olde Wood or recommend them to anyone.

I would give this a 5 star review if I didn't have to worry so much about my wood being delivered as quickly as I needed it. Overall, my experience was great. We are a hardwood floor refinishing company and needed some reclaimed pine to repair a few boards in a customers floor. I needed the product ASAP and I made sure that anyone I talked to was well aware of that. When I placed the order they told me it would take 1 week to get the material ready to ship, then it would take 2-3 days to arrive. I freaked out because I told the salesman I needed it in 4 days and he never told me of that lead time. In the end, it all worked out and it was delivered on time so I am very happy! I just wish the salesman had more of a sense of urgency, which is why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5.
I worked with Amy over the phone on a project for an apartment in NYC. While the owner of the property decided not to move forward with the project due to local costs for the contractor to install a wooden ceiling, I found Amy excellent to work with. I ordered some distressed old wood flooring. Waited 8 weeks for delivery and they actually stripped the surface off the floor and delivered it as new oak.
Who would order distressed wood and then strip the surface off and deliver that.
I think this company is incompitent and would never use them.

Couldn't afford this product. VERY expensive for what we wanted to do for our flooring. If you have $$$$$$ then this business is for you! We really loved what we seen, but was very shocked at the total price. Plus, paying an outrageous price for a product that you can't "physically" see and touch is a huge factor for ANY consumer.

Very poor customer service to say the least. I was eager to work with this company because they were local and seemed knowledgeable about their craft. The woman who initially answered my phone call was very friendly . However, after being put in contact with the Inventory director my experience immediately declined. My email was somewhat rudely replied to with one sentence asking where my lumber was located. I responded within a few moments with a general location as well as distance from the Olde Wood Ltd. business address posted online. A month later and I've still never been contacted by Olde Wood or any of their employees for a follow up call/email to touch base or answer any of the questions from my initial inquiry. As a small business owner myself that treats every customer the same way I expect to be treated in a professional business setting, I feel nothing but the utmost disrespect and neglect. I think it goes without saying that I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I ordered oak hit-skip hardwood floors for my Philly rowhome rehab, and Olde Wood was phenomenal. It took me months to figure out what I wanted and Tara and the team were so helpful. They tirelessly sent me pics and advice throughout the process. And what was even more impressive than the service was seeing the hardwood installed. The wood is beautiful and has so much character.
I cannot recommend Olde Wood Ltd highly enough, and at some point I will be going back to them to replace my bedroom floors.
Excellent service along with professional staff has produced a product to perfection. IE: out of two loads of 150 Sq Ft was shipped to me without a flaw. Every tongue and grove board was produce without any warping what so ever and the went together perfect.
What they say I'm getting was a nice walnut floor (see floor at their website), what I got a heap of fuzzies on my floor. The VP Kris insist to install the wood and refinish and Old Woode will pay for the refinish. Then after it was installed and sanded the problem still exist. Kris, still suggest to refinish, so my husband asked if it was installed and refinish and the final product has the same existing issue will they send new wood. Needless to say Kris (Vice President of Old Woode, Ltd) was not sure himself. This is after Old Wooded, Ltd consulted with their expert Brian Mc Cue, who told my husband while he was sanding part of this wood in my house that the problem still exist. This company boast of great customer service and quality of wood. I post pic for you to decide.

I ve been looking at buying some wood flooring for a while. Contacted several companies and olde wood limited was by far the best choice I could have made. Very happy with my purchase. Very happy with the service I got from ordering to shipping. Working with Monica and Judy was an excellent experience. It just couldn t get any better. The flooring I got is incredible. It is better than I could have imagined it would be. The finish and quality of the flooring is the best I ve ever seen.
We used the reclaimed barnwood as backsplash in the kitchen. I covered with 2 coats of clear polyurethane to prevent staining from any splatters. Very easy to cut and attach. Would highly recommend for projects.

My husband and I drove 2 and 1/2 hours to get to Olde Wood LTD, and spent 2 + hours speaking with a sales associate about hardwood flooring. We picked out a few wood samples and was told they could order samples for us and have it shipped directly to our house. We visited the showroom in Nov and it's mid-February (3-months later) and no samples nor customer follow-up. Very disappointing considering we were serious buyers. We ended up purchasing flooring elsewhere. My recommendation, please consider all of your customers and provide proper follow-up.
We purchased barn siding for 2 accent walls. The barn siding is GORGEOUS! The people that helped me were super accommodating. They had the wood all ready for us to pick up and helped load and cover with plastic. We get TONS of compliments about the wood and for good reason. So happy we chose Olde Wood Ltd for our purchase. These floors are amazing. We used Old Wood flooring, barn siding, and barn roof slating when we remodeled our farm house (built in 1850), about 10 years ago. Not only is the material FABULOUS, but they also uncovered some structural issues with the home, which would have made the investment a total waste had they not discovered the issues. We put in the antique hit skip flooring in our home with a matte finish. We searched for a long time to find this floor. Once we saw the flooring we knew we had to have it. We did varying widths from 3"-6". The wood has so much natural character which is exactly what we were looking for. We worked with Matt and he was great through the entire process, he sent us numerous samples until we found the perfect one. I also use their multi-purpose hardwood floor cleaner and the Wood-zee clean. Very simple to use - just spray it on and use a microfiber mop to clean it. We love our flooring and couldn't be happier. We were kept updated on our order and we would work with them again.

We could not be more pleased with how the live edge pieces we selected turned out. It was a very good experience from the time we walked into the showroom to delivery to our home. Monica was exceptionally helpful. The pieces are truly breathtakingly beautiful. We plan to use one piece as a live edge shelf and the other for a table behind a couch.
They advertise on their website Saturday hours 10-2 for the showroom, but in actuality it's by APPOINTMENT ONLY. I work all week so Saturday is the only day I could make it out there. I got there at 10 and waited for a half hour but the lights were out and nobody was in. Finally called the number and learned that Saturday is by appointment only. I wasted my whole morning with this nonsense. Fix your website.
We are VERY happy with the product we purchased. We did some accent walls in our basement using one of their products that is 'weathered' on site. We were amazed by the level of detail on something that was basically factory produced. From the saw marks to the knot holes to the nail punches. The different planks each had their own coloration so after the walls were completed you couldnt tell it was a man-made product. Another really nice feature is that the planks come in different widths, so the end result doesnt appear with any 'pattern'. My only two negative remarks (and I hate to even call them negative) is that the cut edges are not colored so any exposed sides will be raw wood. We had to come up with our own stain mixture to color the raw edges. Secondly, the majority of the planks are the same length so we had to cut them at varied lengths so the seams were staggered. The reasoning was totally cosmetic, but one I would recommend for a professional look. In the end, it came out fabulous with a little extra work. I would recommend their products all day, any day.

The only problem I have with Olde Wood is as a manufacturer of reclaimed flooring they do not give you specific installation guidelines. I have installed a few other floors in my day and every time the material came with all the particulars, such as Cleats or Staples, and length of fasteners. Their go to is the NWFA. I have read this over and over and it always reverts back to the manufacturer. I find this very frustrating. They also do not specify how to clean, or perform maintenance on the flooring.
Olde Wood did an awesome job reclaiming our century barn that was damaged by a tornado. Site cleanup was completed per agreement and exceeded my expectations. It is comforting to know that this wonderful old barn will find new purpose!

I visited their showroom in Magnolia, Ohio after finding them on the internet. I'm so glad that I did. We just purchased in king size bed and needed a new headboard. I decided to make it myself with recycled wood. They had a lot to choose from and the quality was excellent. The sales staff was very helpful and I especially appreciate the interaction with Sam. He made a headboard and provided me with good advise. The project is done and we are very proud of it.

This wood is expensive. It made me a little hesitant to purchase at first, but I really wanted it so I went for it. Also I'm an inpatient person so I wanted it now, not 4 weeks later. So 4 weeks later I could not be happier. I've been buying lumber for 20 years and this is some of the straightest and square wood I've ever got. It came packed neat and tight, Cut easily, and looks awesome installed. The cost of the wood is worth it if you think about all the effort that goes into delivering this final product. From harvesting the barn, removing the nails, drying in kiln, and squaring up, and packaging. There are alot of hands in on this. You can not get this look any other way. It's worth it!

As far as the product....I purchased reclaimed wood flooring and it is awesome!! I am very happy with the product and is exactly what I expected for a reclaimed hardwood floor. It looks like the wood has been installed for many years and shows a lot of character such as nail holes, worm holes, rough saw marks, etc.. I purchased their engineered version which is a layer of hardwood backed with plywood. I chose this due to the subfloor being directly on a slab. I really like the wood and have received many compliments even when I haven't finished the entire floor! Looking forward to getting it all installed!
We were not really in the market for a new floor but being local to Olde Wood Limited we at least had to check it out. We were instantly amazed by the variety of styles and the beauty of this Reclaimed material we had heard so many friends talking about. We began to ponder ways we could use it in our home without taking the plunge to purchase a brand new floor in a home we were not sure would be our life home. This dreaming we were doing quickly turned into a reality when we decided to redo the master suite in our home. Not only has this material proven to be a great flooring option, but we were quickly seeing the versatility in the material as we planned our projects. We ended up using the Reclaimed Historic Plank, adding custom floor to ceiling cabinetry in the bathroom, creating a sliding barn door to separate the rooms and building a custom platform bed with an accent wall for a headboard.
Although we went the unfinished route and planned to site finish the material ourselves, we were not disappointed. Words simply can not describe how eye-opening it was to see the material come alive firsthand as the natural oil was applied to each board. Every bit of character popped out bringing the saw marks, grain and tale of its history to the forefront.
Start to finish we could not have been more pleased with our entire experience. The people were great, the service was top notch and the product was skillfully milled to meet our every expectation and then some! Needless to say, when we make the move to our forever home, Olde Wood Limited is definitely playing a huge role. FIVE STARS ALL AROUND!!
