My 'overall' experience was like pulling teeth. However, after being persistent, they finally got what needed to be done. (PreOwned Cars). Thanks to those who treated me well & no thank you to those who gave me the runaround.

We were recommended to Nyle Maxwell, through a friend. Found the perfect exact vehicle I wanted. The price was great, car was clean and looked brand new. Customer Service was okay, not the greatest. We waited longer than expected, 2 hours because the employees assumed were just "hanging out". We purchased the vehicle June 8, did not actually receive the vehicle with keys until July 1. This was due to minor maintenance. Here it is 29 days later after receiving the vehicle and now the car is blowing white smoke out the exhaust pipe and the check engine light is on. Car will not go faster than 40mph. My husband and I have been trying to reach out to Nyle, was told we would receive a call from Scott. NEVER received a call until I called them at end of day. Spoke with Scott and he stated he would give me a call back in 10 minutes after he spoke with his higher up. NEVER received that call, now they're closed. Nyle has lack of customer care.

Nyle is only out to make a sale. My husband was told, sir you bought the vehicle and it's not our problem anymore. Nyle has no concerns on their customers nor what they're selling. I do not recommend Nyle Maxwell and I will NEVER purchase another vehicle from Nyle. Stay clear from the Pre-Owned lots.

Honestly, I m giving 2 stars to be nice because I was able to get my first brand new car.

However, the whole process was a mess. It was a back and forth between management about if I could use my capital one car loan or not. Afterwards, I tried to contact my sales person about my plates only for customer service to tell me he was terminated. (That s a huge no no in customer service)

Almost 4 months after I ve had the Jeep, I went in for my oil change and the service people tried to upsell. When I refused the offer, they tried to give me a whole ordeal that my Jeep only takes one type of oil that would cost me a little over $120. I called BS and glad I did. I did some research to find out it was just a hoax and went to my old oil change place, which I should have done from the beginning.

Traded in for a used car and had one of the best experiences I can imagine. The purchase process was quick and everyone that works there is friendly and helpful.
I found an issue with the car a few days after I bought it, and not only did they fix it at no cost to me, but it was a considerable cost for them. They completely took care of my transportation and made sure I was happy with everything!
I highly recommend them!!!
Go see Tony in sales, he is awesome! He and the dealership went way above and beyond!

They do not honor online pricing. Even if you have a screenshot. During financing, any extras that they offer are not completely explained and fine print is left out of the conversation. Salesman this time around has been rude. Only reason a return trip to purchase another car here was because of a plan that was paid for, during our previous purchase here, in case of a total loss but was not explained. We are not receiving full credit towards the purchase of another car as we were promised when we decided to purchase the total loss insurance. The car we drove from out of town to see was not only more expensive once we arrived but it s noisy, clanky and makes horrible sounds when the brake is used. They claimed the change in price was because of repairs made to the car after they had initially posted it online, yet they didn t fix the obnoxiously loud noises coming from the car. If you want to trade in a broken car for another broken car with a shiny coat, this is the place for you!!

I went in to Nyle Maxwell PreOwned Supercenter yesterday honestly doubtful I'd be leaving with a car I enjoyed however I ended up leaving with a car I love and had a fantastic experience with Jacob Thompson, he was honest, efficient, persistent, I got the feeling he would not let me leave without a car I loved and nothing less. I have already recommended Jacob to several friends of mine and would HIGHLY recommend his help at this dealer and will definitely be returning to purchase a car in the future from Jacob.

We setup an appointment, got a better deal here than another dealership. It even comes with their lifetime warranty. Went to Nyle Maxwell yesterday excited to buy a new truck. Was in the process of securing financing when at the last minute I discovered the truck I was about to buy was not 4x4. No big deal, but it was late in the day so I knew I'd need to keep looking and I was ready to go home. That's when our saleswoman turned on us. We asked for our keys back to go home and she held them hostage at the sales desk. So, I had to walk over to their closed office and ask for my keys. With a look of disgust and a dismissive "here you go" my keys were nearly flicked at me as though she was hold a piece of garbage (between her finger and thumb). I believe she thought she lost the sale when the truck wasn't what I wanted. Wrong. She lost the sale when she gave me attitude because I didn't want to buy that particular truck. Had she not done that I would have gladly returned another day to track down the truck that I wanted. Nyle Maxwell lost a customer to poor customer service yesterday. I'll make a $63k purchase somewhere else, thanks.

DO not believe the hype on the "FOREVER" warranty/coverage. Like all things that are too good to be true, this is one of them. In January of this year, we bought a very basic, no frills Nissan Versa from Nyle Maxwell. I like to purchase this type of vehicle because I feel the less there is to a car the less repairs you have to be concerned with. When we left the lot with the car the A/C was not working, the team was aware of this. Of course it was January so we were not overly concerned with the issue, we called the service center/dealership to address the concern like we were asked to, to get the problem fixed but we could never get a hold of anyone, when we finally did no one knew what we were talking about and we had to deal with some run around. This dragged on into March, when a pandemic happened. At that point the A/C issue in our car seemed like the least of our issues. Summer passed, we really were driving very little, maybe using it once or twice a week within a 2 mile radius. Last week we got in the car, that we have not even owned for a year yet, and it began to make this terrible metallic grinding sound. We thought, no problem, we have this "Forever" warranty it will be simple to take care of. Boy were we wrong. After chasing after the Nyle Maxwell people, to actually speak to someone, we were told that Nyle Maxwell does not service Nissan cars, that we needed to take the car to a Nissan dealer and tell them that we have an "EFG" warranty. We did as we were told. Turns out the issue with the car all goes back to the issue with the A/C and as of today no one is taking responsibility for getting the issue repaired. Nyle Maxwell is saying they do not fix the car type they sold us, and Nissan is saying we need to lean on Nyle Maxwell to take care of it. SO the car is in the shop, without repairs. If I go pick it up and take it back to Nyle Maxwell, it will cost $250 to get it back from Nissan to take it to Nyle to pay an additional $100 to fix an issue that they said they would fix in the beginning. It is just a lack of care on their part, and I want people to know, it feels like we were sold the lemon on the lot, and that this warranty/ dealership does not care and has no intention of taking responsibility in this. It makes me worry for the future, what else is going to go wrong with this car, and when it does what kind of hoops will I have to jump through to get it taken care of. I am a reasonable person, with reasonable expectations, but I do not want to be taken advantage of.

I recently purchased a ram truck from this dealership. My salesman(Brain G) was absolutely fantastic. He wasn t pushy and did everything he could to get me the deal I was after. Even after the purchase was complete and I need an accessory added to my truck, Brian went out of his way to help me out and even gave me a ride back to my truck, when the work was done (now that s customer service). I had already acquired my own financing but they were able to get me an even better interest rate. Plus my vehicles transmission and motor have a lifetime warranty. You can t beat that. Wonderful Staff, the place is a little crammed. But you are treated amazing there and they really do work with you and make the car buying experience special and smooth. I had awful experiences at other dealerships one being Town North Nissan but Nyle Maxwell blows them all out of the water with the friendly, helpful, amazing staff. 2nd time we got a car from them and just as amazing as the first time. The guys in finance are awesome!! Mike and Bob are extremely outgoing and fun! They look out for the customer. I drove 2hrs to buy my Jeep Wrangler Sahara for the lifetime warranty. It wasn t overly crowded and everyone had masks on. I have recommended them to my family because of the experience I had. Overall my experience was pretty good. The sales rep and finance guy were great and very helpful. The two stars is for the lack of customer service.

I bought the car and I didn't notice that the antenna on top of the car was lose causing the internal compass to read incorrectly. I sent a message about a week after purchasing it when I noticed it. I was told there was nothing that could be done for me. I told them they sold it to me that way and again I got the "nothing can be done for you".

Suggestion for future car buyers, get a third party to inspect the car before you buy it. I know this seems crazy but now I'm out of pocket to fix something I didn't break and I wouldn't want the same to happen to you.

I won't be back or suggest others to come there either....

I gave them another chance because we know Phil Harris that works there. He treated us right from the very beginning. He cared and listened to what we needed and wanted. He helped us get the most out of our trade in. Very fast and overall a great a experience.

I wish I could give no stars. 10 days ago I had reached an agreement with Roel on a Lexus ES300 I went and drove it there were 2 problems with the car. I told him to fix them and I would buy it. After checking on it all week and a part on "backorder" I get a text that the car sold no apology nothing. Roel and Nile Maxwell are why car dealers have a bad name.

I found exactly what I wanted on their website, called my salesman Oscar with my order, drove all of my choices, and got an amazing price on a premium car. I even got to drive it home to make sure I really liked it. Thank you!!!

They are hard to get a hold of. I never had any issues with other dealerships, I guess they want to make money and this dealership don't want to?
I guess that's why they have a bad rating.

It's a used car lot sales lot...lots of cars & trucks... Typically hungry salesmen. Haven't bought anything at the used lot...bought a new diesel at new car center. BTW...the "forever" warranty? Not what you might think it is...ASK AND READ WHAT IS AND WHAT'S NOT COVERED. That way no surprises...don't understand it? Suggest you get a legal team to explain it to you.

I am so happy that I found TJ Duncan, the Nyle Maxwell team and this amazing Nissan Titan Pro 4X Diesel! I own Freedom Fun USA here in Austin and as many know we are always on the road delivering mobile laser tag, outdoor movies to celebrations all over Austin. Covid has really driven demand for drive-in movies so our fleet needed a truck that could pull a trailer but wasn't too large either. I was getting pretty stressed and going from dealership to dealership , combing online placements ,etc because I didn't really want to get something too big like a 3/4 Ton Ford or Dodge. I stopped by Nyle Maxwell on the way home and ran into TJ who was the most awesome humble young man you could imagine. Just a top notch person. He was not about pressure at all but just wanted to genuinely help. We walked the lot and then I saw a Nissan Diesel!? I was like what ???? A Nissan Diesel - I had no idea that Nissan made a larger Titan Diesel model. I fell in love immediately. It was more expensive than my budget but had to get it. This truck is sweet as you can see by my photos of it parked on my land in Leander. TJ is legit and I recommend you ask for him personally. I asked to speak to the manager and the other salesman sarcastically says I just put a sold tag on the dash and the customer is picking it up Monday. This was Thursday when this occurred. Be warned that they are shady and misleading.

We hate buying cars. Especially used cars. But our experience at Nyle Maxwell's Pre-Owned Super Center was BY FAR THE BEST car buying experience we have ever had. A GREAT PRICE ON A POPULAR MODEL got us to look. The OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE and 0 (I MEAN ZERO) PRESSURE was the trifecta of car buying. Everyone we interacted with was PROFESSIONAL, POLITE and KNOWLEDGEABLE. They TREATED MY WIFE AND ME WITH EQUAL RESPECT and courtesy. That treatment was consistent throughout the process from Sales (Thanks JOE OLIDEN and JUAN SAMANIEGO) all the way through final signatures with Finance (Thanks MIKE HILER). I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Nyle Maxwell.

Service wasn't great. Car was missing from the lot on a scheduled test drive. An hour later the car arrived, but not any any condition to sale. It was dirty and smelled terrible.

My salesman did seem to want to work hard to make me happy. In the end I let them sale the car to someone else.

Went with my husband to look at a truck. Salesman stated that the truck my husband seen online was already sold. I think that they advertised that truck as bait to get us to come in. I cant say that for a fact but its just my feeling because they didnt have anything else in that price range on the lot. Really didn't like the vibe of the salesman because he wanted to know what kind of down payment we had or if we were trading a vehicle before really seeing what we were interested in so we didn't really push the issue or look at anything else. On the up side the lot was very neat and organized they had a good variety of vehicles. Bathroom was spotless and smelled good.

Negotiated for almost a month. I asked them to send me the Carfax. They did and the carfax listed an accident. They told me carfax was mistaken and the car was perfect. They said carfax often makes mistakes. They must have told me This over 20. times in the course of our 1 month negotiation.

When it came time to give my deposit I asked. again saying my main concern is that the car may have been in an accident. Again the dealer sales rep assured me it was not the case. I bought the car and drove it one hour to my house.

When I got home and inspected the car in detail I found it had been in an accident and indeed still had damage (when I went to look at the car at the dealer the dirt was hiding the repaint). So I believe the rep lied to me.

I had AAA return the car on a flatbed so no additional mileage accumulated. On the positive side the GM has promised me all my money back. Because of their promise to refund my money I gave them one star.

Very disappointing experience here today. I put in my information through their website (as I am selling my 2013 Hyundai Veloster) including condition, mileage, and basic information about my car. They gave me an estimation of $4,800-$6800 for my car. I did my research on Kelley Blue Book before I came and knew my car was worth around $5000 so thought the estimation was spot on. After submitting my information, I was promptly contacted by a saleswoman who set up a time with me to bring it in. I take time out of my day to scramble at the DMV to get my title, get a car wash, go in to the dealership and wait for an appraisal. After waiting, the saleswoman comes up to the table and says We don t want your car . Taken a back I say oh okay why? She replies because of the mileage. I mention that I put all my mileage and information in to the system initially and she still told me to come in. She shrugs and says well how much were you looking to get for it? I told her I was hoping $5000. She laughed and told me I d only get about $1500. I felt like they were doing a bait and switch and trying to take advantage of the fact I m a young girl that doesn t know what I m talking about. Immediately took my car to Carmax where dealerships often price match as they have a great appraisal system... what do you know?? A $5,500 appraisal offer. Super disappointed with the experience and wasting my time by trying to take advantage. I recommend Carmax or dealerships that offer $500 more than Carmax appraisal.

Update after typing and reliving then incident I decided on a 1 star cause I remember how I was treated and duped.

I'm giving them a two star review instead of one only because I liked my salesmen so much I bought two trucks from them. Now the complaint is not about my purchase but the after purchase. One vehicle new the other pre- owned and new one broke before the pre-owned truck.

Now this is where it got really bad, I own a company in Austin and we use these trucks as our fleet vehicles. When the new truck broke "Ram turbo diesel" I was told I could drop the truck off anytime and they could see it in two weeks. OH wait it gets worst after, my response was "wait a sec I got you best warranty and you cant see it for two weeks? The reply was golden. We can have it seen in two weeks and once an service advisor sees it we can then schedule a repair. So basically they wanted to leave me without a vehicle for 5 weeks. A fleet vehicle down in the peek season can cost a company thousand of dollars.

I had to call Chrysler customer care and advise them that none of this information was ever disclosed during the purchase of the warranties, instead it sounded more like "oh we'll get you taken care of no problem".

After I told them this is what is referred to in the courts as a deceptive trade practices, "selling a warranty that you cannot cover cause your too busy". Chrysler corporate called a few dealers in town and at the time Benny Boyd Bastrop stepped up and serviced my vehicle the next day. Turned out something came loose and was rattling.

So for a loose bolt they wanted to keep my truck for 5 weeks and cause me to loose thousands of dollars and my long time clients. I can say that I'll never buy from them and I'll never pay for any extra factory warranties ever again. Basically they'll make you wait until you take your vehicles somewhere else or they break you financially.

I'll probably never buy a Ram again and that just doesn't sit well with me. They are excellent work truck when they run right but having to through all of this just get a service I paid for I just cant. Side note the truck only had about 35,000 miles and was only about 11 months old. HAHAHAHA sad

My husband and i operate a dog rescue in rural Texas. When our car broke down, we were almost unable to help dogs in need - our passion and our mission were very affected. It was more than just a car to us. Running a rescue is a financially taxing venture and I myself have never had good credit. I was told no multiple times by several dealerships and buy here pay here lots due to the fact that I am unemployed even though I work 24/7 rehabbing feral dogs in need. Finance manager Fred at nyle maxwell as well as sales person TJ understood the need for a vehicle I have to continue saving these dogs, making vet visits, and being a student as well. They made it happen for me in under 48 hours after two months of being told NO at other places. They made sure my warranty needs were met and they handled all my anxiety during the process. I purchased a certified pre-owned Ford Escape and I absolutely love it! It fits all my needs and was financed within my price range. I was in shock honestly, after how many people told me they couldn t help, that they stepped up and got me into a reliable and safe vehicle. I ve had the car for one week and I ve already put over 1,000 miles on it saving dogs in need. I truly couldn t have made the last two rescue missions a success without this vehicle and I am forever grateful for them. Any company that believes in animal rescue and helped me as they did, for the animals we save, has me as a customer for life. Further, Fred gave me helpful advice on improving credit that I should have had to pay an expert for. They went the extra mile for me. I see an average rating of 3 stars but this company deserves 10 stars in my book.

To begin with, when we purchased the vehicle they swore they were not going to run our credit because we had a pre approval through a authorized bank and low and behold the next day we get an alert that our credit had infact been ran. That was the 1st of many issues. The vehicle started making noise the day after we bought it. We took it back to the dealership they said they would fix it, they kept the vehicle, we got it back and it was still making the same noise. We tried for 2 weeks to get ahold of someone and get someone to call us back. I was calling and texting every day. Finally a gentleman called me, who is very snarky. Telling me I could bring it in and they look at it but if it's not the original problem they're not going to do anything. So I asked him to clarified what work they had done, it is in fact the work that they were supposed to do and they won't fix it. The gentleman was extremely rude laughed and said everybody there knew about it. I only wish I had seen these reviews before we purchased from them, we never would have purchase the vehicle from them. The excuse was "you know it is a used car right". And "we put a $1000 into that card just to get it sold."

After searching for a truck for a few weeks I found a F250 for sale by this dealership. I contacted the dealer and got additional information and put down a deposit. I flew from Orlando Fl to Austin to take delivery of my new purchase. After signing paperwork and getting ready to leave I found the bed cover to be broken and not working. Dealer inspected cover and agreed it was broke and would fix it. I was to get it inspected once arriving home and they would take care of me. I clarified with the dealer prior to traveling 1200 miles that the vehicle was in excellent condition and everything worked as it should. I also asked the sales person to close the bed cover prior to detail and he informed me he had, when it returned I noticed it open. This is when I found it to be broke. Once arriving back in Florida, I took the truck to a Retrax dealer for inspection, paid an inspection and got a quote. Repairs would be over $1500. Dealer has continued to ignore emails and delay making a decision as to honoring their word or denying to take care of the problem as promised.

I also purchased the Extended Warranty for $3500 to find out that it does not cover the back up cameras or collision alert system which also does not work and will be $2900 to repair.

When buying a used vehicle from this dealer use caution and assume you are buying a beat up pos vehicle. This way you can not be let down when you find the flaws.

bought a car about a month ago went into the dealer and test drove the car turned out the key fob was low battery. asked the sales man if they would change it out he said I can go to BestBuy and replace the battery myself. was talking to the manager as well asked if they would replace the battery at the least said no I can buy it myself. well isn t that nice from a manager. it s a simple battery they could be nice please a customer since I was paying cash. as well the car had about a quarter of a tank and they did not want to put any fuel on it, I ve bought over a dozen car and all but 1 other did not want to put fuel on it and they did at the end of the day I drove 3 hours from a different city because of the car not the dealer ship. they are very rude have couple friends that live in the Austin area I will not recommend and will tell them not to go to that dealer ship worst place to buy a vehicle from.

About two months ago we took our 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Limited in because we had SEVERAL issues. Our third row was stuck, the navigation screen would just freeze, our suspension had an issue, and the transmission was having a hard time transitioning from 1st to 2nd gear. It took them a few weeks before we could even get the vehicle in. Once we finally did we were offered a loaner vehicle (which was nice) and when we asked how long it would be there then said maybe a day or two. A week later, after absolutely no updates, we call and find out that parts had to be ordered for the suspension and they were still waiting on them. No one had called us to update or notify us of that. At that point we just told them we really needed our vehicle and we'd come pick it up. They had fixed the third row and navigation screen and TOLD us the transmission issue was fixed. They said they would call us when the suspension parts were in and we could bring the vehicle back then. While driving the van home we learned the transmission HADN'T been fixed. We waited a few weeks and never got any updates on the parts so we called back to find out they had arrived a week or so before. So we scheduled to bring our vehicle back (but the wait was three weeks).

Fast forward to today. I am still waiting on our van. We dropped it off last week and when we did I had STRESSED that we needed it back yesterday because we leave for a road trip to Utah tomorrow. After (again) calling them for updates, we were informed that the part they needed to fix the transmission was on backorder and they had no idea how soon it would arrive, but they did place a rush order on it. After contacting Jonathan again this morning he had their rental manager call me. I explained that we really needed ANY larger vehicle. We are traveling with two young kids so we needed room for a pack n play, stroller, bedrails, suitcases, etc. The rental manager told me that he couldn't lend us one of their rentals because we would be putting too many miles on it, but he could refer me to Hertz. Hertz could give me a discount of $35/day but only WHILE our vehicle was still being serviced. So say if, the part arrived the day after we left, we'd lose that discount for the remained of the 3 week trip. So I confirmed with him that we would now have to pay for a rental out of pocket because this issue hadn't been correctly fixed the first time and he said yes. after looking up rental costs, that would be approximately $1200 out of pocket for us.

So at this point I'm waiting (again) for someone to contact me. At this point I think I might tell them to put the van back together and we will just roll the dice.

The communication at the service center is absolutely HORRIBLE. You have to reach out if you need answers. And expect a looooong wait time just to get an appointment and then a long wait time while it's being serviced. Our other car is a Kia and we've never experienced this kind of lack of communication or wait time with that dealership.

I'm giving one star because Angela was the only person I spoke to who acted sympathetic and was able to get my unanswered calls returned.
