Rooms are okay, similar to staying at a Hilton garden inn. Restaurant staff are really bad I would suggest foregoing the rate that includes breakfast and go-to one of the many local dinners. Front desk staff friendly, access to the hotel required going to an elevator to get to the lobby from street.

We were there for New Year's Eve and after. Awesome views of times square. Hotel is nice and clean. Room was nice. We had the two double beds. The beds were two small to fit two adults. Two children or 1 adult each would be comfortable. There wasn't a microwave or coffee pot in the room. You had to ask for it. My husband asked for the coffee pot on day 1 of check in and they gave us a tea pot. He had to ask again and he didn't get the coffee pot until day 4. Breakfast buffet was good. The menu stays the same so if you are there for more than 1 night be prepared to eat the same breakfast food everyday. Bar and restaurant for lunch/dinner was good as well. Overall we had a nice stay.

Room was clean and check in staff friendly. Room 903 is not a great position as it is close to all the hallway traffic but the view of Times Square is pretty good. We had people in the room next to us partying with music at 3am. There was an interconnecting room door and the sound travelled straight under it. We had to call security who took about 30 min to shut it down. (I understand not fault of management re people being overly noisy). No follow up from the front desk in the morning. Breakfast was ok. We organized a late check out and when we got lost and were going to be 15 min late to get back to our room to vacate the front desk lady was pretty unforgiving and said she would charge us $50 for the extra time (1 hour billing). Have stayed a few times and had good experiences but this one was pretty crappy attention to customers needs etc so will maybe look elsewhere next time.

I am very sad because I forgot a Tumi brand bag in the drawer of my room that I occupied in the Novotel Times Square hotel between May 14 and 17. I called to see if it was in the forgotten things and it was not saved, which is weird because they always check the rooms at the time of check out. I sincerely thought that I could meet more honest people. I need you to contact me to find out if it is possible to contact the passenger of the subsequent reservation since the bag has a sentimental value for me.

My partner and I stayed here last year and it was the most pleasant hotel and visit. As we arrived, we were greeted in the most friendly manner by the hotel staff and the room was just as you see it on the pictures - perfect! The location is amazing, we had a view of Times Square from our room and could also see it from the hotel balcony which was a nice social spot. There were plenty of food places around and local shops so you have everything you need right under your nose. Overall, it was a great stay and this is the only hotel I would stay at in New York. Can't wait to visit again.

It was conveniently located to go around the city, near times square which made things much easier for us with our little girls. We walked to MET from the hotel through 5 th avenue/Central Park, it was nice walking. Also, we walked down to Korean town, which was fun too. Wall green is right downstairs which we loved it bc we needed hundreds of things more even after packing everything possible for our girls. Housekeeping was great. One thing, you may want to pack your own shampoos and conditioners. I try not too picky on it when we travel but theirs made our hair got dried/tangled more than usual. Besides that, great hotel, nice view of Times Square :)

Unbeatable location!

Unbeatable location!

Modern designed lobby on the 8th floor. Unfortunately you always have to use 2 different elevators to get from the street to the room. That can be time consuming.

Otherwise quite spacious rooms for New York, which unfortunately already show a few signs of wear and tear, which cannot be seen in the photos.

Coffee or tea and a bathrobe in the rooms would have been nice - actually standard today.

Attention, hidden costs: A so-called Urban Experience Fee (creative name!) Of almost $ 40 per night makes the room more expensive than initially thought. Unfortunately, many New York hotels now use this trick.

Breakfast overpriced. There are much better and cheaper alternatives out there!

Cleaning only mediocre. (Example: A pizza crumb was left on the carpet for 2 days until we removed it ourselves.)

Overall, conditionally recommendable. We still felt quite comfortable. If you want more, you have to pay more!

I booked a king size bed for my weekend stay in New York City. It was two single beds ,when I opened the door .I excepted that because they said it would take a while to see if there's another room available in the future. I book that room about nine months in advance. Then on Saturday the whole lounge and bar area was taken over by outside guesses , and you could not sit at the bar and have a drink or conversation. Me and my wife went back to out room around 7:30 PM . We were on the 10th floor the music from that party could've been right in our room. It was blasting loud and I phoned the front desk finally after two calls talk to somebody who said the music will shut down at 11 PM. I told him there's no respect for the paying guest to this hotel. I saw many people especially European guess leaving the lounge on Saturday night because of that music and atmosphere from the outside crowd . I have stayed at your hotel, twice in the last two years. I'm sorry but I cannot stay there again. I will stay down the road at the Sheraton. I know I'm only one customer but you have lost me .

Very poor customer service offered by their receptionists. Although there is no mini bar in the room and no breakfast included, I needed to authorize my card for 330 dollar for 3 nights. Normally you get the option as hotel, this one was insisting and very rude in their talking. Last time I stayed here.

A centrally located hotel in New York. Certainly not cheap, but you can't expect that in New York either. The hotel is clean, the room cleaning took place every day to the satisfaction.
The rooms could be better insulated. The noise of the air conditioners from other houses was good to hear as a hiss.
We didn't enjoy breakfast, it was too expensive for us. Over $ 30 per person plus tax and tip. There are other locations in New York for this.
Overall a pleasant stay.
In addition to the hotel price, there was a kind of tourist tax, called a resident fee, of just under $ 23 per room per night.

Very nice, big and clean hotel. Perfect location.

Very nice, big and clean hotel. Perfect location.
The only thing that bothers me is that you get $ 160 as security on arrival. Unfortunately, they have not gotten back yet. Everything else was fine, had a room on the 30th floor. Great view!!!

I was truly disappointed with the Novotel in New York, NY and would never book the brand again.

1) The day time concierge was abrasive and lazy and told me that he only makes recommendations for the internal restaurant not outside. So if this is your policy this is different than any other hotel in New York that I've stayed which include the Plaza, Hilton and Grand Marriott.

2) The ice machine on the 27th floor did not work and no sign to tell me it didn't work requiring me to get my ice from another floor. My ice bucket was a little dusty so I made sure to leave in plain view for housekeeping and that's exactly where it was, still dusty, after the room was serviced.

3) When I reached the hotel to pick up my key as I had checked-in via mobile I was first told I couldn't change the credit card and they couldn't even tell me the amount authorized. Then I explained that the charge had not been finalized at which time I was told I could change the card on account. Next day I returned to change the card, met with the same resistance, then compliance. Later that evening I found that the new card had been authorized for $400 more than the first authorization and I had not applied any charges to my room.

4)The bathroom door was an annoyance, it continued to hit up against the glass shower doors, noisy!

5)Not one cab driver knew where the hotel was located, never heard of it. This means I had to remember the address small but again annoying.

6) This was the darkest room I have ever stayed. I couldn't get good light anywhere, the closest was the bathroom and it was even dark.

Its location is very good for walking around the city or for using the subway!!!! Nice terrace overlooking the Times Square but the service was not good... and the concierge was not helpful at all...

Location of the hotel was very convenient; in the heart of Times Square and with loads of places to eat. Loved the breakfast room, balcony and views. We stayed 7 nights.

Room was ok. Didn't like the shower cubicle. The screen was visibly dirty throughout our stay. But didn't want to complain as i don't spend time in there.

This was my 2nd visit to the US and 2nd stay in a US hotel. But it was the first time i experienced being given a receipt/invoice at breakfast though breakfast was included in my hotel package and having to work out whether to leave tips or not. It was awkward. Also, it sometimes took long to be seated at a table.

Very good stay at the Novotel Times Square, booked 6 months in advance, but not indicated that it was rooms between the 9th and 19th, but hey I had requested a higher floor possible the 16th was not bad , Nevertheless.

I will repeat the experience.

One of the best hotels in Time Square. Get a room that's facing Time Square and you'll enjoy every moment of your stay. The staff is very courteous too. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Due to the COVID-19 virus, and the governors request that nobody travel, this hotel refuses to refund the room. Multiple emails back-and-forth and they refused to do anything. This firm would rather people get COVID-19 and die then refund the money. All they re concerned with is money and not the health and welfare of others

Well all the way. Good size room. Bedding very well. Functional bathroom. Coffee / tea maker, bathrobes and slippers available. The staff speaks French most of the time. Breakfast is expensive $ 30 per person! By cons it is varied, it is served until 11am. Room service and restaurant good too. The restaurant room has a very nice view of Times Square. I always come back with pleasure to the Novotel New York (4th time). For on there will be a fifth

Great location in NYC 52nd St/Broadway for Times Square and Broadway Theatres. Walkable distance to Central Park and subway station nearby. Clean and comfy bed & bathroom, just what you need. Outdoor bar/terrace with patio heaters with views towards Times Square. Would stay here again.

Strategically located with superb views over Times Square, hearty breakfast and impeccable room cleaning. Small but cozy, unfortunately no kettle and no coffee, now present an option for all 4 stars in NY. Professional staff.

Terrible. Fell in the bathroom, front staff (Sergio) horrible at helping. It was hotel's fault, shower door doesn't close, and sink over fills, water everywhere. My son also fell, however didn't sustain any injuries, I fell, staff terrible at offering service or care, or even documenting incident. They are just waiting for a lawsuit. They are friendly, until there is a problem.

Very clean, big rooms for NYC, awesome view from the 24th floor. Nice terrace on the lobby level, bar is very nice, everything is very modern.
Edit: We stayed here again. Breakfast was great. The only thing I can criticize is the hair dryer, it will only work on low, took me half an hour to dry my hair.
