Perfect location. Recently renovated. The bar with its terrace is a plus. Very complete breakfast. Fast Wi-Fi. On the other hand, (very) expensive rooms, as in all of Manhattan.

Super kind staff and helpful! Awesome view of the city and vintage staircase
Overall the hotel was nice but the television in the room didn't work.
We stayed at the Novotel to celebrate my son's 10th. birthday. The hotel has a fresh and fashionable style. We really enjoyed the comfortable room, the beautiful restaurant with the view of Times Square, and the friendly staff.
The food was good - The breakfast bar was amazing! A well varied arrangement with plenty for those with an appetite for fresh and healthy foods. Oh! The coffee! Fantastic.
Kids ate breakfast free - great perk for those of us with kiddos.
We met my wife's father for drinks at the hotel bar. Drinks were delicious and the staff was courteous!
Very bad customer service experience and racism experience every single time! So disappointed!
Awesome venue for a party overlooking times square incredibly overpriced drinks
Brilliant location (right on Times Square), nice room with breathtaking views, cool music in the bar and very nice staff.
Hotel location excellent.
Comfortable room and very clean.
Small breakfast space.
Highly recommend!
Modern, clean room. Restaurant and IRD food was tasty.
This is the fourth time I have stayed at this hotel and every time I come to NYC this is the hotel chosen for the great service and great location.
Didn't see much of the hotel because I was at an event, but it seems very nice. They had a huge touch screen table with games on it, awesome!!!!
Great views from the bar/ lounge area! Professional bartenders!
Location is perfect, Times Square, 10 'from Central Park. The rooms are perfect and all with a very good wifi !!
Beautiful restaurant with panoramic view, excellent service and very good food.
Great location great Service great rooms...highly recommend
Can improve alot in various aspects.India has much better places compared to this hotel.
You should check the decorative panels between the wardrobe and the fridge because in room 1422 the panel is detached and I fell on it fortunately it was not on a child .. in compensation the receptionist offered me a drink good it's not great especially that I had paid 60 eur more for a departure after 15 pm I would have appreciated the refund of this sum to compensate for the bump on my head ...
New York pricing for drinks to the max!! For a basic cocktail was almost $30. The environment was beautiful and very spacious. The staff was friendly for the most part, except when your asking the bar for something simple as ice water. Would I go back, yes, because the overall environment was beautiful and clean. Still had a good experience
Nice hotel in a handy location but had to get 2 elevators to reach my room
Accor should consider hiring more qualified /appropriate hotel personnel. Accor is known for its hospitality in their properties but Novotel Time Square is far from this. It is a disgrace to be included in the Accor chain. Avoid at all costs
Great location, great view of Times Square for some rooms.
Doesn't honor website rates, sells hotel rooms while your sitting in the lobby confused the tells you 5 minutes later that's it's going to be 250 more for the night. Lied about selling it on us just to get us to either pay the extremely higher rate or leave.
This place was beyond amazing! The view we had of time square was breathtaking, the room was up-to-date and gave off a fancy appeal. The bathroom followed the same concept of everything appearing new and well taken care of! Recommending this hotel to everyone that wants to stay at time square.
Fresh rooms, like what you would find in Europe. Somewhat expensive beer in the bar, $10 for a bottle, but that is perhaps what to expect in NY
Friendly efficient welcoming staff who leave you to your own devices if that's what you prefer. Helpful and available when you need them. Polite, professional and humble. Excellent facilities. Great terrace bar / restaurant. Superb views of Times Square. Norma the housekeeper was particularly sweet. No pressure for tips but appeared genuinely grateful when given to all staff. Apart from one aggressive and rude security ? man who knocked on the door threatening to "charge" me for I presume being too loud with guests after spending a large amount at the bar. His behaviour was unacceptable. I called downstairs as I did not understand what he meant. If it was to keep the noise down that was all he had to say. I was told a manager would be contacted, but nothing happened. That was disappointing. Guests should never feel threatened by hotel staff and his behaviour was unwarranted. It was after the Katy Perry concert. We were not that noisey. Of that I am certain.
Everything has been up to it.
Renovated, modern, excellent location, in the heart of times squares.
Room and bathroom, spacious, clean, soundproof room.
Breakfast, varied and hearty, served until 11am.
Only downside, the Wi-Fi Internet access was billed to us during the check out.
A very good hotel, I liked the view of the 32nd floor was a beautiful place. Very correct and pro pro the service was of quality mamen, ideal for a city trip like hotel of course
My go to hotel in NYC. Usually moderately priced for NYC exuberant prices, good location, excellent Times Square view, modern, good sized, and contemporary rooms.
Extremely busy with cars bumber to bumber and 3 rows thick.
the sidewalk full of pedestrians.
Lots of sirens ambulances police cars.
Great location and really welcoming staff. Great room view
Good location, nice rooom & housekeeping. Charged an unexpected $40 at check out for "lobby access" even though it was used for private functions and not always accessible.
This is a standard hotel for Novotel. The rooms are small, as elsewhere in New York.
The hotel was clean and very accommodating. We loved our room and view. The front doorman was wonderful. I was concerned over safety. At night a very aggressive and "high" male prostitute followed me up in the elevator to the lobby. I was frightened and concerned for my safety (and my daughter's) He hid in the lobby and I requested an escort to my room. I would love to recommend or stay again but safety was an issue. It would prevent me from staying again.
Excellent location modern hotel and great rooms. Full buffet breakfast that sounds like it could be expensive at just under $28 pp but worth it.
Great view from our Room for the Ball drop at Times Square. The family had a great time and the restaurant down stairs as beautiful food
Great location a short walk to Time Square. Rooms are in great condition and has a lovely Cosi lobby.
Clean, great staff and a fabulous view. Will definitely be staying there again
Mil $ view facing to Broadway , very good location and easy access to public transportation, bars, restaurants, convenient stores...
Very secure hotel if thats your thing. no entry to lift floors if you dont have a room on that one, i liked that. Room was spacious and its a great location round the corner from all the action.
Nice sized room. Residents charge daily, just be aware this is charged when you are at the hotel.
Very comfortable hotel located in the Theather district
Great location, very helpful staff, clean rooms with view of Times Square. Perfect to watch the ball drop during New Year's Eve. Will definitely stay here again
Went for an event and the bartenders were great just fee in number for the size of the event.
Very happy with the location and comfort of the hotel.
Get ready for fraudulent charges on your card if you stay here. Along with bad attitude from the staff. Don t bother paying for a room with a view - the windows are so filthy you can t see anything anyways.
Stayed here for one night with the Times Square view option. Couldnt been any more happy with what Novotel offered. Fantastic view in a luxurious, modern room. Staff was friendly too. Very short walking distance to a ton of great places to drink and eat.
Amazing hotel with views of the Times Square and very close to it. Very nice and clean rooms !!!!
It's perfectly alright. Room a little small, but good location.
Room is nice and roomy for NYC. Close to everything and far enough away to avoid the hustle and bustle. I would stay here again.
To recommend highly. Ideally located in NYC time square.
It's a nice hotel but it's really dark. The lobby is low lit and the rooms don't have a lot of lights. Everything else is good though.
Visited the bar here while staying at the hotel opposite. Its great on the outdoor balcony overlooking NY and down to broadway
Friendly staff.
Ideal location, less than a minute away from Times Square.
Rooms were big enough for New York standards, bathrooms small but big enough.
The rooms were always clean.
I will book this hotel again!
Great location, updated in 2011. Very modern, excellent service
Great central location. Room was clean and modern. Food was acceptable. No draught lager for 3 days of our stay but not the end of the world. Please beware of charges to your credit card made by the hotel without prior warning/notice
Good hotel, in a great location. The rooms are very comfortable with HD TV. The restaurant has a great quality and the view on the terrace towards Manhattan simply makes you fall in love.
A nice hotel with a great location near Times Square and Broadway. Only downside is that you hear some street noise in the room.
Clean and large rooms, good bedding, perfect location !
Beautiful hotel, very friendly people, comfy bed and great view! Plus it smelled really nice in the hotel too:)
Novetel nyc was Close to times square. Close to several subway stations. Clean and new. Better than I expected.
Good restaurant , tasty sandwichs. And the staff is friendly. Nice view.
The view is fantastic. Great spot to see the ball falling.
price / quality does not correspond. The entrance is uncomfortable because you have to go up by elevator
ALWAYS from the street and there are 8 floors. The rooms are fair and the bathroom small. The unappetizing breakfast as if it were for a regiment, everything is filled in bulk. The staff of the Super Nova, BREAKFAST restaurant is not pleasant at all. There is a lack of space because they have you waiting for tables at the entrance where large queues form and it is also cold! We asked for a late check out and they charged us $ 99 ... in short, NOT recommended
Very nice rooms, reasonable prices and a very convenient location
This is the least thing we can do to reflect the level of professionalism of the hotel staff in addition to the wonderful situation and the view from the hotel; This stay was really appreciated :)
Very friendly staff generally speaking. Very flexible and understanding (As an example one of us 4 could finally not make it to NY and they cancelled his room free of charge at the reception upon arrival).
Great hotel with a great location. Service is great. Rooms are big and clean. Location is right on time square
Recovered to take an upgrade to the upper floor overlooking the time square! Nice restaurant right there
Great view and the room itself is well equipped. However, this place is filled with tourists and is not a business friendly hotel. Everything from breakfast to room service is exhorbitantly priced. If you are in NY for business, go elsewhere. If you are a tourist, this is an ideal jump off point for many other sites of interest.
Great view even from 14th floor. Helpful staff and great vibe. So close to everything.
Enjoyed the stay clean quaint quiet..relaxing 4 stars our tv sidnt work
Dear Sir,
The company of which I am one of the partners being the owner of two Ibis Style and a Mercure, I particularly enjoyed my stay in your establishment. The quality of the welcome, the service as a whole, the cleanliness of the premises were a major asset of our stay, facilitated by the implementation of Caprice HARDING, before our arrival. I just regretted the drunkenness advance of a porter on our arrival (a little fat with a mustache) quickly mastered by his colleagues.
If I had to write a review, the last night, guests from the connecting Connecting Room (3202) spoke loudly until 02:30 in the morning. We felt like they were in our room. A problem of soundproofing? In addition, one of the elevators has sufficient lighting to find the buttons, but not the others. So this is possible ....
Breakfast is of great richness and quality with the exception of pastries that would need a French baker for the image.
Finally, I find that the decoration of the room and common areas begins to date a little and lacks the "spirit of lights" in the French. But this is only a personal opinion.
Very cordial greetings
Christian Recoing
