Wow! What an incredible experience. Me and my girlfriend stayed there for Valentine s Day and we loved this place. We got there and they had given us two queen size bedroom instead of a king but once we went back down Ian had no problem getting us an amazing king sized bed room. Ian was so nice and was really welcoming. We had the pleasure of dealing with him on our way in and out. We will definitely be staying there again. Thank you for an amazing experience.

A room located just above the ventilation, well! Come Ten years ago I had a good memory of breakfast. Alas! It starts with waiting at the entrance to be placed. Then the bread is not up to a French chain. Hard and when there is. The pastries are not better. The chocolate is too sweet. In short, an American breakfast. Pity.

In the middle of the night I woke up and the fan for the HVAC system was off. I need it to stay on to sleep. You have an excellent HVAC (although I would've like it even colder in the room) with great fan white noise, but having it shut off in the middle of the night was frustrating. My only complaint.

Check-in and out process was smooth, concier was very helpful. The hotel itself was very clean and in a perfect spot for overseeing Time Square. All of the staff were very friendly and the rooms were extremely nice. Would definitely stay there again.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The entire hotel staff we very friendly and great to chat with. They are very insightful and can help you with tips for your trips. It was great there was a computer and printer available to guests since we left our show tickets home and needed to reprint them. The views are epic from everywhere in the hotel! The food at Supernova was also delicious. Room was very clean and bathroom was stocked with awesome toiletries incase you didn't bring any. We will definitely be returning here in the future.

Our room was very clean. The staff was all very pleasant. I traveled with my son and felt completely safe in your hotel. The hotel's location was perfect - close enough to walk anywhere we wanted to go yet not in the middle of all the craziness and congestion of Times Square. I would happily stay at The Novotel again on our next trip to the City!

Superb hotel, ideal location, we had a very good stay!

+ the location: we are 5 minutes walk from Times Square, Central Park or 5th avenue; 2 minutes from the metro. There is everything you need nearby
+ the cleanliness of the establishment; + the friendliness of the staff
+ the terrace with a view of Times Square, which we weren't able to enjoy in March but which must be very pleasant in spring or summer
+ the beds, very comfortable
+ calm, despite the location in a tourist area.

- For those who would be concerned, parking at $ 55 / day (but all parking lots are expensive in New York ...)

Great service. Supernova is awesome but the service is below par for the price you pay. Food was decent. They allowed us to check in 4 hours early and and stowed our bags after we checked out for a evening flight.

Stay 5 nights. Ideally located. Good insulation even in room 12th floor. Very good bedding. Lovely staff, some speak french.
Late departure. Free free note for the plane of the evening.

Small flats, no bathrobes, no slippers. Not enough to prepare a hot drink in the room.

Great location close to Times Square, the Theater District, Hell's Kitchen, and convenient subway (metro for the rest of the world) access. The room was clean and modern with a good view.

The most spectacular part of the hotel was the cafe and bar with the wrap-around (3 sides of the building) outdoor deck perched 8 floors above the bustling, dynamic view of Times Square. A great place to chill after a long day in NYC and experience the hustle and bustle from a relatively peaceful vantage point.

My compliments to the nice staff, especially the very accommodating and charming "Ian," who helped us with an early check-in and chatted with sophistication with my friend. A few weeks after my stay and the concierge's name didn't slip away means we were treated well.

We were very comfortable. The hotel has an unbeatable location. The views from the terrace stunning. Very nice staff, from those at breakfast to the cleaning staff. We never waited for more than 10 minutes to have breakfast and considering that we were two adults and two children 43 dollars I do not find it expensive for a hotel breakfast of that category. No doubt if I went back to NY I would repeat.

2nd stay and always with so much pleasure. The chance to have been upgraded to luxury room for our stay of a week. Staff at the top of every post, great location in town. Highly our next stay

All good, the hotel's facilities was great, no problem at all, room service ladies and the lady work in gift shop were nice and helpful!

Unfortunately, the front desk staff, information counter staff and restaurant staff was very impolite, no smile at all. They instruct customer and really unhelpful, I can feel that they don't want to help! Hey, I paid tips to them everytime when I went to the restaurant for breakfast!

Especially the front desk lady staff worked on 27/8 morning , she was really rude, I just ask her a really simply question, what is the check out time? She ask me 12:00 and sneer at me!

I stayed at the hotel 4 nights, their attitude were bad at all.

Your hotel with great location and great facilities, if you can improve your staff's manner, I will absolutely stay again, if not improve, sorry, it will be the last time and I will quite my Accor membership as well. I hope you can reply my comment properly. Thank you!

I loved everything about the hotel, from the location and the premises, like its cleanliness. The bed is one of the items that caught the most attention. In addition to the wonderful sheets, the bed itself was an invitation to the party, making the energies fully recovered. There was a day when we stayed more than 12 hours sleeping as good as the bed was. Walking in the city nothing, it was best to be under those amazing sheets and in that super comfortable bed. First-rate service and always very friendly staff. The view is incredible and the breakfast is an experience apart from being so good. If I could always stay in this hotel. The price really is a bit steep, but when I booked I was lucky that the wonderful breakfast was included, which was perfect and saved me the food, being VERY worth it. And you still have the option of reducing the value with credit card points (one of the few things that have been worthwhile since it is impossible to exchange for airline tickets lately), which helped to ease the bill a little in the end. On this same trip I stayed in another hotel just for Christmas to continue the trip and return later. I only say one thing, comparing it with this is impossible, leave the first one in the slipper and the price of this first was even more expensive than Novotel. We practically didn't take a taxi due to the excellent location (we like to walk a lot) and there is a subway next door, which makes transportation very easy (which practically all hotels in the area also have). Personally, I don't really like being stuck in Times Square, but anyone who loves this mess and its stores love being on the side. It is good to avoid peak times when the entrance is congested and it takes a while to be able to check in. Oh, and they ask for a little high amount of guarantee (in my case it was a thousand dollars of guarantee) and there is also a crap fee called Fee Resort that hotels in NYC charge that can vary between USD30.00 to USD50.00 and never are included with the daily rates or reservation, stay tuned to that.

Over-rated hotel. A piece of junk. I booked through Priceline for $168/ night on Jan 08, 2019. The hotel doesn't have their own parking space. I have to pay $45/night for a parking across the street. There is no microwave, the refrigerator is so small. Room too small.

At the end of my stay I was charged for another $17.21 for no reason, even though I didn't use any service offered by the hotel. I left tips on bed when I left.

I called accounting to clear the unauthorized charge but got a voice mail, I called my credit card company to get rid of the charge. Never use Novotel again.

Novotel New York Times Square, top notch, good location, super friendly staff some of whom speak really good French, we are very well received, the rooms are clean, spacious, the breakfast is top with a breathtaking view of Times Square, in short we had a great stay! I highly recommend .

Our stay was comfortable. The space was beautiful and clean.
However things that could be improved:
-answering the phone at the front desk when some one calls from room.
-had a very long wait at bar and on balcony.
-had a long wait at restaurant.
Highly recommend this hotel for the time square view on the balcony alone. it is gorgeous.

room was very comfy, although much smaller then pictures made it look. but i guess thats typical for ney york hotels. hotel is very clean and perfect location. Hotel staff was nice but a bit sarcastic and blunt at times. Once again i guess thats pretty typical for new york!

Room on the 24th floor with rear view (basically no view of Time Square) for a 9 day stay with breakfast included for a period of 9 days and a bill of about $ 3000. The big regrets are: given the length of stay, we would have appreciated having a view of Time Square. At breakfast, when you sign the coupon, remember to put the tip at $ 0, otherwise you would have the unpleasant surprise to see you charged $ 8.25 tips ... if we put $ 0 or nothing is that we do not want to put anything!

Expensive food of middling quality, but we wanted some kind of view and hadn't booked anywhere in advance. It was easy to get in on a weekday evening so we went for it. The view was decent (for being times square) and it was nice to get out of the crowded streets for awhile. I'm usually good about catching it when this happens, but they asked if we wanted sparkling or still water (we asked for still) then brought out bottled instead of tap - remember to ask for tap if you don't want to pay for the bottle. IMO this is a shady practice and this place wasn't fancy enough to justify it. Overall - tourist trap but it's quiet enough and we had no complaints about the food. It was pretty standard food you'll pay twice as much for (personal pepperoni pizza and burger were each 21 dollars). Meh.

I like this particular hotel because of its location. Near Times Square to be close to everywhere you need to be downtown yet far enough that you don't see or hear the massive throngs of tourists and crowds as one would closer to the square. The hotel has a more modern sensibility, decor-wise. Simple but clean. Color scheme may need to be updated though. Not a fan of the silver-teal theme they have going in the rooms. If you get to stay at a higher floor, and on the right side of the building, the views of downtown and the river are breathtaking. The front desk staff kinda hit or miss. Sometimes they are very nice, sometimes not so much rude as indifferent? It is a member of the Accor group of hotels and may be worth joining to avail of a few amenities like free wifi access and a welcome drink.
Membership advantages are more useful in their European hotels though. All in all worth the stay.

Correct room. Nothing more. Nice view. But for this second stay: clogged sink, flush flush, a find in the floor under the carpet and the icing on the cake: on my arrival the room was prepared and clean but there was a bottle of beer half open on the desk ... nice memory of the cleaning staff!

I was on my honeymoon, which makes everything nicer, however the structure is excellent, many better than the other structures that travel agencies offered for the same price and then the location is fantastic.

Great hotel and super convenient to everything. Comfy beds and good views. Nice atmosphere and friendly people working there who were extremely helpful w all requests. Only wish we were here in the summer to enjoy the outdoor space on the upper floors!

My first room backed up to the elevator bank and was noisy. I asked for a different room and was re-assigned. My new room was very quiet, and comfortable. I enjoyed a 2 night stay here without issues. The rooms were generously sized for NYC and everything was clean/in order. The restaurant is overpriced and the bar service was very slow. The front desk attendants are very responsive.

As always, everything impeccable. Excellent room and cleanliness. But, above all, the efficiency and kindness of the front desk person, always ready to solve any problem. We especially appreciate the patience, sympathy and support of Geralde, Alvin and Kelly (security). Keep in that way.

Room is facing time square, beds are comfy. Room is clean, nice big TV, little mini fridge for some drinks (no mini bar), safe in the room for your valuables, bathroom is nice, nice lobby with bar and restuarant, free coffee in the morning in the lobby, food is a little pricey but so is everything in time square

Stayed there with my granddaughter on our recent trip. The room was clean and nice. Our view ofBroadway thrilled my granddaughter. The front desk, concierge and lobby staff were very helpful at check in and out, with dinner suggestions and reservations and with transportation. The location was so convenient for all we wanted to see and do. I will certainly stay again if I return to the area.
