Nice place to stay only a few short blocks from Times square.

Just a 3 star hotel. Basic rooms renovated cheaply. Staff offer basic service even if higher Le Club status. Breakfast poor at best. Restaurant Staff very disengaged. Tables and floor dirty and cleaned poorly. We had breakfast included but started eating out instead. Gym hasn t been renovated equipment very old.

Got a room on the time sq side of the hotel. We were able to have fun all night watching it.. Had loads of fund.. Great Service. but Places around it are obviously costly. So mind it

We had the best time at Novotel, we got to Times Square in 5 mins of walking, 10 mins to Central Park, Rockefeller, Halal Guys, Five guys, what a beautiful time in NYC. Loved it. Amazing Rooms, not very big, but then it's NYC, but amazing service at the roof top bar as well! We'll surely return.

It perfectly fulfilled my expectations. An excellent location and friendly service. A bar a bit noisy, but you can ask NYC !!!.

Fabulous Hotel in the heart of all the action. Staff hospitable, friendly and helpful. Room fabulous. Very happy would stay again.

They gave us a room where there was water running under the cabinet in the and the sink was clogged. We had 4 people being one an elder and the hotel suggested we stay without sink till next day until the bathroom is fixed. I complained and they suggested we sleep 4 people in a one bed room because they didn t have room available. I complained again and they finally allocated somebody to fix. It s passed midnight and I m here with my elder mother waiting the bathroom to be fixed and all the noise of the maintenance and also the plumb smell. In addition the manager refused to refund me for the night claiming that the compensation for this inconvenience is $50 (and the price of the room is above $400 per night). Really?

Hotel with great location, large rooms and in good condition

Very nice hotel! Very well placed in New York! We see Times Square from the room, what a big Kiff! Close to several metro stations that allows you to visit New York !!

Excellent location, friendly welcome, helpful staff, spacious and clean rooms.
Breakfast was good but a bit chaotic, because there were not enough seats.

Breakfast was terrible I paid 80$ for rubbish food never again and my stuff in the room went missing all my collection bag from Bahamas and other cities are all gone I refused to get my room clean up for my last 2 days of stay

Very clean hotel, beautiful decor would definitely stay again. It seemed like mostly a tourist hotel (as most places in times square are) but I had a fantastic time with my date. Times square view rooms are to die for, would definitely stay again.

Nice roof top but service is a disaster. You have to wait 20 min for a single drink when it s not crowded. Bartenders are terrible and unpleasant (may be just back luck though).

Very well located near Times Square and subway lines, Central Park 10 minutes away .. Privilege high floors, hotel redone a few years ago but already little things to redo in the rooms, good bedding, roof top terrace

Quite messy in the breakfasts, of 6 days I have been lodged 5 of them I had to wait more than measure hour to be assigned table for breakfast, quite chaotic !. Otherwise everything is correct, without more.

Nice Hotel and the staff is very friendly. We were from April 8 to 12, 2017. They had the disposition to help us with a problem that was presented to us due to the loss of my credit card, excellent service attitude. Thank you.

Friendly staff and comfortable beds. The location is very close to a subway that takes you to the Met and downtown. That being said, you can walk to central park, times square and the rockafeller center very easily. Approx. $70 to Newark Airport from the Novotel in an uber. Cheaper going to New York from Newark (Uber pool was about $20)

My first visit to New York. Great location. Great service. Friendly staff. Rooms clean with a great view although a little compact. Great breakfast buffet! Highly recommended hotel!

Top location in the heart of Times Square. By cons they lost my suitcase between the lobby and the taxi. They found my bag and sent me back 2 months later, I had to pay a refund of 100 euros ...

Three nights for one million won. . I went to 2 night + 1 night promotion. . I almost slept. . I know the hotel is expensive for Times Square. . The location was really good and the bed was nice too. . While we were staying, we did not clean up and did not fill up the amenity. . There was green tea but there was no way to eat it. . There were neither coffee pot nor hot port. . I asked him to get a hot port. . There was nothing in the mini bar. . It seems that soundproofing does not work well. . I hear the sound of talking next door. . I stayed at a good price. . It seems like the price. .

Great location, many eateries and attractions near by. Only a short walk from Times Square too! Only downfall was the Elevators that you had to take from street level to the lobby, there always seemed to be a line.

Beautiful and clean hotel overlooking Broadway and Times Square. I don't give 5 stars because we had problems on arrival with the allocation of the rooms, although I had sent several emails already months before asking for some services. Finally, on the second day, a couple from the group had to pack up and change rooms. Everything else is perfect! If it is available ask for the view on Times Square! fantastic

I usually stay with the Accor network whenever possible. The Novotel NY met almost all expectations, except for two negatives.
The first was that I realized in the mornings that the room was not properly cleaned, because I am sensitive to dust and I woke up in the days of lodging with a little allergic crisis that soon passed after leaving the room.
The second and most serious one was that, when I inquired about packages that I would receive by mail at the hotel address, I was informed that there were no packages on my behalf. After tracking the orders on the UPS website, I noticed that the two packages had been received and signed by Mr. Francisco and Mr. Brian. Only after I informed them that UPS confirmed the delivery, in a quick demand at the warehouse, they found my package. I found the situation strange and exhausting.

Great location! The staff was great. I didn't try the food. It has a bar at the second lobby with great views. The gym look directly to Times Square. My room also had a great view to Times Square (20th floor) The location is fabulous, waking distance to different Subway lines, to Central Park, to Times Square, to the pharmacy, Starbucks, MoMA... Etc. The rooms aren't the biggest ones but are well equipped and nice. I would be back definitely. I travel without kids, so I have no idea if this is a kids friendly hotel.

We had a great stay, I want to thank the whole team without exception, especially the hotel manager who solved my reservation problem due to the travel agent. The Novotel is ideally located in Times Square. Thanks to its very beautiful location we were able to visit some parts of New York on foot.The rooms are very clean, the beds Very comfortable the framed hotel is very modern And secure, The food is of a very high quality and The breakfast is very diverse. The employees are welcoming and attentive. I highly recommend it! As for me, I will definitely stay there again !!!

My only 15 days of holidays of the year, the moment when I dreamed to sleep, to make greasy mornings, to come and go without worrying about the household, to change my sheets, etc ... to live simply without to think about the chores of everyday life ... and quite the opposite has happened here. Already very early in the morning, the noise of the vacuum cleaners, voices in front of the door sent me a start: no fat dull in 10 days ... plates of fresh fruit not removed in 10 days, even after I myself washed the mold that appeared on it, the plate remained there for 10 days without anyone getting rid of it despite the bad smell and dirt. I do not even talk about the sheets, I had to ask them to change me! The staff is really not friendly or smiling except for a few exceptions like Laureena, Ariel, Rita ... otherwise the others are not helpful, I even took a "whatever" ... short. We are very far from the Accor Novotel standards that I know and which I'm used to and for which I came. I had made my reservation with my eyes closed, saying that I could blindly entrust my holidays to my favorite hotel group. I am heavily mistaken! The price is odiously high for the service I received. I thought to offer a 4-star gold is not the case. For all that he deserves 2 instead and should sincerely review his rates or his staff. I leave with the annoying impression of being more tired than when I arrived because the holidays turned into a nightmare.

Room is small, but bed was very good. Overall the hotel was close to everything we needed, staff were good and we enjoyed the stay.

Nice hotel room. Lobby is on the seventh floor which is a pain. No coffee maker in the room. At this price, I would expect coffee.

The staff is very polite and attentive... they knew they had an event the day I attended Novotel because as attentive and polite as they were I feel like they were under staffed.

The check in was friendly and efficient and the room was roomy. The Terrace was a pleasant experience disappointing only by the fact that it was a smoking area. The bar staff were great and the table service at breakfast was very good. There were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room therefore it would be worthwhile making the coffee station available longer (it appeared to only be available during breakfast).

I can't speak to the hotel, but I've been to the rooftop bar many a time and really enjoy it here! The views are amazing and for the area, the drinks are reasonably priced. You can't go wrong with any of the bar food items either. If the weather isn't cooperating, the inside is also nice - good vibe!

Simply disappointing, seeing it getting worse and worse. I have been a fan of this hotel for years, but enough is enough.
Here is my experience: When we arrived in room 1802 on the first evening (January 15, 2020), I noticed that despite the renovation which, by the way, caused a completely unjustified price increase, the rooms are aging badly. Bathroom with peeling paint and sagging furniture.
At first glance, the rest of the room is correct.
After getting up on the second day, the handle of the bathroom door remains in my hands, the shower mixer does not work and I only have 3 towels for a 4-person room.
1st follow-up around 9:30 am at the reception where I am assured of a rapid intervention. back in the late afternoon and nothing.
return to reception, or I am assured that this is not normal and that the technician will come by immediately.
Back from dinner and guess ???? nothing.
I had to raise my tone to have the cleaning staff and a technician in 5 minutes to repair real anomalies!
If you think I had an apology, or, what might have looked like it .... well no!
I have always aimed to be factual and give a second chance but it is again a failure and I confirm that after many visits it makes me sad. I was with my family and an 8-year-old child who never stopped seeing her uncle getting angry .... It doesn't look like a vacation from near or far.
I no longer recommend this establishment, and I think that a lot of work on the staff which has also changed a lot as on the management of supports needs to be reviewed urgently.

The SuperNova restaurant of Novotel New York was totally awesome, it's pricey but worth it if you are spending it with your loved ones. The place is especially great for "after the show dinner" since the location is just a few walks away from broadway theaters. The panoramic veiw of timesquare was incredibly great, the set-up and dimmed lights are pretty romantic and to top it off, the Angus Prime NY Strip Steak and the California Cabernet Braised Short Ribs were oh so delicious! The service crew were also warm and professional. The only thing that is stopping me from giving it five stars is that the dessert menu is limited and my sweet tooth is not really up to what they have on their list. But my experience over there was unforgettable!

The hotel is in a great location in Manhattan. Competent and friendly staff.
Hearty breakfast and fresh products.
Nice gym.
One big flaw: "communicating" rooms are to be avoided absolutely. The doors are not isolated and you share your stay with your neighbors, including children who are not always "supervised" ....
Worse: no change solution if not without the view of Time Square! End of not receiving.
The terrace, the bar and the restaurant offer a superb view of Time Square, which can be enjoyed when they are not privatized by external events bringing in crowds +++ and dj !!!

I stayed in the Novotel Times Square for my first stay in New York. Very friendly staff, very central and convenient location. Spacious room with a very suggestive view. And how can we not talk about the bar terrace? Great cocktail with a view of fear ...

The best thing about this place is its location, it is just a few steps from the great Times Square. My view was not towards a great landscape, but still this crazy city captivated me. The stay did not include breakfast, but they had available. On leaving you have a walgreens and a Mcdonals, so to get the basics, you didn't have to walk much.

The hotel has an excellent location, it is only a few blocks from Times Square, and in the same block of the hotel there is a Walgreens pharmacy, a McDonalds and a Starbucks, which makes it accessible to food and drinks. The rooms are of sufficient size and it stands out that they are very clean. As a bonus, there is a refrigerator in each room to store a drink or food. There is no coffee maker in the room, however in the mornings there is complimentary coffee in the lobby. The view from the restaurant is beautiful.

Great location. The foyer is misleading - you do wonder what the heck have you booked, but once you go up in the lift to check in and see the bar/restaurant area and then see the view - wow! Drinks are very expensive though, but NYC in generally is expensive.

Perfect location, room is very compact, breath taking view overlooking Times Square from the restaurant, lots of food and Duane Read nearby.

Not overly luxurious, but clean, comfortable, easily accessible. Of course, the location trumps everything.
