Horrible ER experience, nurses are polite but the wait time is ridiculous. Came in at 11pm and it s now 4am still waiting to see someone. Others have come and gone, people that came in after us are seen and leave yet we still wait. Unless your guts are hanging out, avoid this place.

Nurse Lauren from 3North has been amazing. My mother is a patient here and she has gone above and beyond to take care of her. Cant give enough praise, hope everyone I encounter can be as efficient and kind as she is.

I had the BEST ER experience in this facility. The nurses and doctors go above and beyond at ALL times to make your child feel better. I am SO glad I decided to take my son here after a terrible experience at Cohen s Children at North Shore.
If you care about your child, take him/ her to New York Presbyterian Queens. I am so thankful to the entire team of staff for their amazing care.

I took my grand father in the emergency Room around 3pm they did few tests in the beginning and then made us wait 8 hrs to meet the doctor and go over reports .we left the hospital around 11pm . I have been to hospitals where emergency rooms took few hours to see the patient but this hospital tops all of them . I wish i could give them -5 .

Waited 10 hours to be induced in labor & delivery ...

Waited 10 hours to be induced in labor & delivery waiting room (39 weeks & 5 days), several people were taken ahead of me,n finally after speaking to a nurse supervisor, I was placed in the recovery room. THere a P.A. MICHAELA told me she was going to see how dialated I was, then without warning, intentionally broke my mucus plug. I screamed in pain, "STOP, STOP!! YOU'RE HURTING ME!!" SEVERAL TIMES. She was REMORSELESS & without letting up or lightening her grip, told me "birth hurts". Her & a female Asian doctor, who's name I forget; bullied me into having a induction, telling me my baby will be stillborn & will die in my sleep, I won't even know, that he likely had the cord around his neck, even though they had just performed an ultrasound a couple minutes earlier. I had no preclampsia, diabetes, or fetal complications; that supported having an induction; A procedure which if performed too soon, unnecessarily or incorrectly, can cause fetal death, uterus rupture, oxygen deprivation, cerebral palsy, N-ICU stays, etc. The exam "MICHAELA" gave me, was so rough
I felt like a cow being sent to slaughter. I signed out AMA & was given a stack of paperwork I suspect was delayed consent for a membrane stripping, that I didn't ok, but I was too exhausted to read it.(I wasn't given a copy) when I got home I was in a TON of pain, w/bad cramping, SEVERE bleeding, & backaches, that lasted for weeks. I never had these symptoms during my pregnancy before this occurred. Days later NY PRESBY. gyno kept pressuring me into having the induction, listing completely different reasoning then the others did, & throwing in the occasional "but it's your choice". When I declined yet again, & continued my appts for sonograms, Dr razavi LITERALLY made the ultrasound tech walk me into triage to induce that day! I told her I didn t need to be accompanied nor did I want to induce, she DGAF.
I walked in, then got the hell out of there when the tech left. The more forceful they got, the more apprehensive I felt. I just had a BAD FEELING, but no where to go at that point. After every sonogram I was practically stalked by the head of MFM, Dr. Skupski; (who I later found out was being sued by a colleague for sexual assault google it; but wasn't suspended.) He Tried to get me to induce,& also cited different reasons then the previous doctors & nurses. He went on to tell me several times how they don't make anyone induce, they're don't make money off it bla bla. I saw a family friend who's an OB, I was told all was great & there was NO REASON to induce, & doing so would likely cause further interventions(C-section) long hospital stay(ka-ching $$)etc. I then found out there's a TON of pending & recently settled lawsuits (even A-rod is suing them!) many for labor & delivery. Including a woman who was inducted by my NY PRES Doctor. He caused her son brain damage & deprived him of oxygen giving him lifelong cerebral palsy! A lawsuit she won. After a final opinion from a 3rd gyno, I was told yet again everything was fine & not to let myself be bullied. I gave birth at LIJ, to a healthy 8 lb 8 oz boy; no induction or c-section needed. It was a WONDERFUL experience. The doctors from NY PRESBY continued to call my husband & harass me about induction DAILY, until I told them I had our son. 4 months later, I received all kinds of medical bills from NY PRESBY, with BS insurance claims; saying I had appts w/skupski when he was literally stalking me. When I had ultrasound appts he would just randomly show up in the room to push me to induce. They said I was in the ER, I NEVER was. They make you check-in the ER for induction, before you go immediately up to labor & delivery where you actually wait, to suck more money out of your insurance. The whole thing is ridiculous. I'm going to drop the dime to my insurance, if they don't remove the BS claim. Go to LIJ, Winthrop, NYU, mt. Sinai, ANYWHERE BUT NY PRESBYTERIAN!!!! I Wouldn't send my worst enemy here. They DGAF about you, just your insurance

I delivered my baby on April 1st, and we stayed at the "Mother and Baby" unit for 3 days. The services were outstanding. The doctors are very professional and friendly so are the nurses. The nurse checking my room and ask my needs every hour during first day and night, and every two hours the next days and nights. I love the most is the night shift nurse Mrs. Mary Mutty who work 11pm-7am shift. She is an awesome person. She gave me good advice about how to take care my newborn and always offer help when I need it. She definitely worth a five star.

It s very clear for anyone who goes to this hospital as an emergency, the staff just doesn t care about you or your health period. Horrible experience they make you wait in the same room as very critical patients for hours. ER not to get you better but to make you more sick. They all look like they dread working there.

I am currently sitting in Labor & Delivery waiting room because they do not have any beds in the triage area but my problem besides from this is, the nurses. Upon arrival in a wheelchair the nursing staff just looked at me but no one attempted to get up and ask for my information, so I had my mother hand in my paperwork from the emergency room. Then I was instructed to give a urine sample and then in the dirty bathroom, the nurse performs a doppler reading on me but was standoffish because I stated to her that this was unsanitary and she needed to have facilities come clean the bathroom. I am 36 weeks pregnant and between myself and the other pregnant women, this is truly unprofessional. And the attitude from the staff is unacceptable also the cleanliness of this area is disgusting. I am very disappointed with my visit so far and it is sad because with all the renovations they have done, changing the hospital name and the hospital is still the same. They should have renovated the staff too. Waiting for patient advocate to come down and speak with me now.

Ugh. Not even sure where to start. My doctor had adjusted my medication and it was too high for me to handle. So I come to the hospital with fainting and throwing up, completely lethargic. Not to mention, one of their PCP's sent me there because i looked so gone. And without taking blood or urine, they tell me I'm pregnant and suffering from morning sickness. Plot twist, I wasn't pregnant. I'm back there a week later because this time I fainted and got a pretty nasty gash on my face. Finally they take blood. The doctor comes in and starts to berate me for "wasting her time". According to her, there was nothing wrong with me. I asked her, "so why am I fainting then?". She said she doesn't care and to get out of her sight. I don't care if that's the last hospital standing, I'll die before going there again. Just to clarify, some of the nurses are amazing. But the doctors are awful. There's an amazing guy who works in emergency pediatrics named Sal, and he's the best at taking blood. You honestly don't feel it. Great conversationalist too. And another nurse in emergency pediatrics (never got his name but he has blonde hair) is also good at taking blood. But no matter how great they are, if the "doctors" can't help you with your medical problem, it's pointless. For the record, the only reason I found out my medicine was too high, was because of my dad. He has absolutely no medical background but noticed signs of an overdose. If someone with no medical background can do a better job figuring out what's wrong with you than a "professional" can, then you need to find a new place. 5 years ago, this place was the best to go to. But it's completely gone downhill. If you have any choice, don't send your loved ones here. Please don't. I wouldn't send my worst enemy here.

We made an appointment at 1:30 and it is currently 3:00 and we have yet to see the doctor. When we came in the waiting room was empty and it still is. We don t know why the wait is soooo long but this was a serious waste of time.

Very good hospital. The nurses and doctors are very kind and patience. Nurse Rose Simon is awesome, she has a very nice sense of humor and she's professional. My grandmother was having lumpectomy surgery and I was the contact for her, the hospital has a system that text me updates about the surgery while I wait and that was good.

Worse ER experiences! First time visit 5 hours wait just for a needle shot. They told me they will contact the my doctor to confirm dosage and after 1 hour wait they said they will contact now; another 2 hr 30mins wait for shot.
9/24 doctor told me to go to hospital for another dosage of medication check in at 12:03pm, draw blood at 12:25pm. Since then they left me in lobby for 2 hrs and half then call me to patient lounge and left me for another 2 hours unattended. Finally got Ultrasound done at 5pm, at 5:20pm doctor talk to me about the report and letting me know I ll be getting a shot shortly ever since I been left unattended in the lounge no nurse answer my questions and it s 8:08pm. Unless u r dying or on ur last breath, don t come to this hospital they will leave u unattended till further notice... lol

everyone was very nice until you get to the dreaded recovery room where the nurses are understaffed supposedly and very rude. They gave off a nasty attitude after having a nose surgery with anastasia and not once asked me how i felt or was doing after waking up. I was not offered any water and the nurses never asked me if i was in any pain or not. i barely had energy to talk or ask. nurses were ignoring me when i eventually did and when they eventually came they were just ripping wires off me rushingly and came every 10 mins to tell me to breath but my throat was drying up.

By far the worst experience I have had in an emergency room. Not only did they make us wait two hours because they coded us incorrectly, I had to keep approaching the desk.

My sister is extremely ill and they were apathetic and not helpful. When we finally got into the actual room, we waited yet another hour to be seen by a doctor. Their excuse?
'It's very busy tonight mam'
Oh really? Then why did you treat someone who not only came after us but also had a simple ear infection before even acknowledging we are still here? I can understand busy but they were not prioritizing properly.

Suite 115. I was told to come in 10 mins early. Which means 850am I wasn't seen til 1010am for a 5min blood work appointment. This is ridiculous. They are used to abusing their clientele that lives near by that doesn't speak fluent English. This was very unprofessional.

Absolutely the BEST hospital ever! The service is great, nurses are knowledgeable and kind and do their job from the heart. Staff are polite. Food is delicious. I deliver both of my babies here and LOVE each minute spend there. Is like going on a vacation kind of experience, not a hospital.

For the love of God, don't go to this hospital. Br...

For the love of God, don't go to this hospital. Bringing my mom here after a heart attack was the worst decision of my life. Instead of performing life saving surgery on her, they let her languish in bed on medications for about a month until they found (a very survivable type of) cancer in her body. My mother had two 100% blocked arteries, and one that was 75% blocked, as well as a leaky mitral valve and nobody wanted to help her, citing a bureaucratic mess.

Unfortunately, this caused the team of cardiologists and the oncologists to fight and even MISDIAGNOSE her cancer. She was told she had lung cancer, and it turned out that she had a very survivable neuroendocrine tumor. Neither team wanted to operate on her, citing the other team's being "combative" as the reason. This was another almost 2 months of languishing in the hospital until her Primary Care Physician even told her, "You have to get out of this place. They are not helping you."

Result? My mom stayed in a hospital getting absolutely zero help, and being put on a ventilator 6 times. When we finally transferred her to Mount Sinai, where she got excellent care, it was too late. She got pneumonia and passed away this Monday at 6:21 pm after a long, suffering road that could have been completely avoided.

I miss my mother more than life itself. At 56 years old, nobody should have to die if your medical staff is competent enough to take care of you. Rest in peace mom; at least you are not suffering anymore. My only solace is that she can no longer feel pain. I hope one day we meet again, my sweet best friend.

So I remember when this was Booth Memorial Hospital and you do everything to avoid coming here. BUT, how have things changed. My most recent visit here really impressed me. The lobby was inviting and I saw state of the art equipment everywhere.

My wife and I just walked out of this stupid hospital untreated after 8 Hours waiting inside the emergency room. Why is it called the emergency walk in if it takes that long to be seen? Sorry correctly....still not seen. Never coming to this hospital again. People... Take my advice and go to one of the north shore hospitals.

Amazing hospital and staff. Went in for 41 weeks Induction. As a first time mom they made me feel very comfortable and safe. The PA s, RN s and Nurse Asst. were all truly amazing loving people. Constantly making sure the baby and me had everything we needed. I recommend all moms to be to choose NYPH Queens, you won t regret it. They are very informative and walk you through every step of the way.

Waiting in the hallway, people are moving around. Don t seems so busy with patient. However, most people are left in the hallway.
I wish emergency room works like it s an emergency and taken care of before they get into more sickness.
I wish we didn t have to come today here. It s definitely not a place to be. Only unfortunate moments ..

You know what you don t see everyday is when you go to a emergency room and you hear the dentist saying your name and basically telling another doctor that your not going to see me because you have other better things to do. Asking the other doctor if he will see me because he doesn t want to waste his time. So i went to a nurse and asked what was going on and why he had said that. So he said very loudly that he is going to see another patient that has been there for 2 hours which is understandable. The funny part was that the other doctor was seeing that patient , then the Chinese doctor which was the one that said very loudly had been going in and out of the waiting room to go see another patient that was not in his speciality (broken wrist) when your a dentist . This guy would literally be running out giving me dirty looks (SUPER UNCOMFORTABLE) when all you want to do is be treated.
I was actually with my husband which was the one in pain. A tooth of his actually broke in half and on top of that, it s in the same place where there s a screw holding his jaw together. So yeah it is a serious matter. I even told that to the nurse and she had said there was another emergency that he had to take care of ; meanwhile the two doctors that didn t want to see him , one was texting in the back and the other one was acting like he a general doctor.
The crazy part is that when we came to the emergency room IT WAS EMPTY. So for you to say that there was another patient waiting for 2 hours says something. The fact is that you didn t even acknowledge us AT ALL. You really just went to another doctor and told him you didn t want to see him you really just passed him on to another doctor that was just another one that didn t care.
FACT IS THAT IF YOUR NOT PREGNANT OR DYING THEY REALLY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU !

excellent service!! I loved the way to treat me when I had my baby! each peesonal is very kind and take the time to help you in everything related to a newborn and with more reason if it is your first baby! I would definitely give birth in that hospital without the slightest doubt!!!

I've had two experiences here prior to their revamp. Both times proved useless after a 6+ hour wait each time. The only result from the visits had been them keeping me there past midnight and charging an overnight bill. An elderly family member had to head into the ER tonight due to excruciating pain (the family doctor had told him to see him tomorrow to discuss urgently test results); the paincouldn't wait. They headed in at 9:30pm and it is now 4:00am and they're still waiting. Pain relievers were provided and my psychic prediction is they'll give him a few more pills to ensure but not resolve, charge an overnight stay, and send him on home with no sleep. His family doctor will then proceed with actual resolution in a few more hours. It is disappointing that the place has yet become more efficient after all the money put into it and the rebranding. There is empathy with prioritizing immediate emergencies, possible understaffing, and this isn't to criticize the staff themselves or their efforts but to consistently surpass 7+ hours of waiting time? This isn't right.

I would give a 0 star if Google allowed it.Let me tell you why this place sucks beyond belief. The staff is ignorant, unethical and very unprofessional. I went to do an MRI test at the New York hospital in Flushing Queens at radiology department on 08/02/15(Sunday), prior to that I went in person to make an appointment with all necessary paper work that my doctor issued to me in the same hospital on the 4th floor. The receptionist accepted all my paperwork and told me just show up on Sunday. I assumed everything was good to go but I still wanted confirmation so I asked her clearly if I needed to bring any further paper work with me on Sunday. She said no and that everything is set and it is in the system. All I had left to do was fill a few basic health questionnaire paperwork, which I did, then I will be ready to go. She wasn t attentive to begin with, therefore, the problems the following appointment ensued. On Sunday, I showed up at the radiology center. Another reception was there and she wasn t friendly. She seemed to be in a bad mood because there was a child behind her desk, assuming it was hers and she seemed annoyed by her. I m not even sure why a child was there in the first place, a reception desk is no place for a child and it is a major distraction to whoever is handling the desk.Onwards, I stated I was there for an MRI test. She had trouble finding me in the system. This was frustrating after I confirmed with the first receptionist that I was, in fact, in the system. After a waited time, she was able to locate my name and my scheduled appointment. Then she asked to see the prescription paper from the referral doctor, so I told her when I made appointment, the lady told me all I need to do is show up and everything is ready to go! She already documented the necessary files. She responded that the first receptionist, her coworker, does not know what she is doing and she still needed my paperwork to verify. Since I was told I didn t need anything, I didn t have them on me. So then she requested that I email it to her. Luckily, my wife was home and was able to gather all documents and email everything to her. My wife sent all three separated referrals and prescription approval by my doctor in email form. All of the paper work had the same information on it, stating I made an appointment few days prior, she looked through briefly and said those are not the papers she was looking for!Hold on, what? She asked for referrals, prescriptions and MRI diagnostic requests and still wasn t the paperwork she needed? The paperwork could not be any clearer which led me to believe this inexperience, unprofessional and miserable being could not comprehend the information before her eyes. The paperwork stated the prescription and the test needed summary with authorization through my insurance company, I kept telling her that was the paperwork, but I was still being denied for the MRI while her child was yelling at background demanding to play with her. Again, I can t even express the very frustrating experience with the service I needed ASAP for my lower back pain. I m still in so much pain and no one has even contacted me to resolve this issue. In conclusion whoever is hiring at the hospital, they need to do some careful consideration in who they hire as a representative for their practice, you need someone who has more common sense and knows their job. They need to train better. If you are a patient, do me a favor, stay away from this radiology department at the Queens hospital. You re wasting your time.

And without a doubt after praying to my higher power I have never felt more at calm and more relaxed trusting the doctors the best staff from the top right to the nurses!! Thank you everyone for taking great care of me and for making me feel so comfortable and safe even the head cardiology man had time to sit with me and that blew me away just shows how they care!! Thank you from the hudak family and kids keep up the great work .

Where do I begin . I have to say I live in Brooklyn, NY and would drive all the way to this hospital because at one point it was the best hospital to me. I would take my kids and my husband. mind you I live literally 2 blocks from Coney Island hospital and would still drive all the way to queens just to come to this hospital. Well NEVER AGAIN!! I fell and bumped my head. I take blood thinners so it is definitely a serious case. I walked in and they continuously tried to insinuate that I didn t fall. Explained several times how I fell and they just continuously said if that is the story I am sticking with. I was disgusted and they can see that so they took me right in. NEVER ASKED FOR MY INSURANCE INFORMATION. They took me to triage and the nurse took my pressure and it was EXTREMELY HIGH. 177/121. Now this is stroke pressure and I just bumped my head. The triage nurse never asked me what medicine I take, only if I have high blood pressure. They asked for my doctor s name and that s it (no contact information). I got to the hospital at 10:15pm and they never once gave/offered me an ice pack for the big knot that was protruding out and can be seen through my hair. They never gave/offered me anything to bring my pressure down or for the pain. Nor did they have a doctor come over to evaluate me at any point during the 6 hours I was there. I waited 3 hours to get a CT Scan done. I then waited another 3 hours to get the results which mind you were given to me by the nurse. NEVER once did a doctor, a PA or a NP come over to check me or discuss results with me. I was never seen or even checked by the doctor. When I complained to the ER Manager Manny who told me it is very busy and they are understaffed. Apologized and advised him that is not my problem. Explained to him the situation and he stated he will see what s going on. He then disappeared and never returned to try and resolve anything. The nurse then came over and took my pressure again at which time it was 177/111 and still nothing was done. Another nurse then walked over to my nurse and asked if he was using the machine he stated he was done. The female nurse then said out loud you sure you don t need this cause this pressure is REALLY high. I went over to the nurse and she stated yes that is stroke pressure but yet and still nothing was given not even an ice pack or something for the pain. At this point I am beyond frustrated and asked that they give me my paperwork so I can leave. There is no reason that a patient that has high blood pressure and takes Coumadin who is experiencing stroke like pressure and a blunt impact to the head with a 2-4 hematoma should be sitting in the Emergency room in a chair without being evaluated by a doctor. Now of course I am receiving bills from the ER, as well as the attending physician which I never saw, for the CT scan, and for the review of the CT Scan which I never received the diagnosis. Obviously this hospital has turned into a regular NYC hospital that just doesn t care about their patients. Nurses and Doctors were just sitting around, joking, on their phones and not paying any mind to the patients that were there including myself. I AM BEYOND DISGUSTED WITH THIS HOSPITAL AND WILL NEVER GO BACK NO MATTER WHAT THE SITUATION IS.
MY VISIT WAS ON 1/2/18. i WENT IN AT 10:15 PM AND DID NOT LEAVE UNTIL 4AM.

By far the worst hospital I have ever been to in my life. I came here with stabbing abdominal pain. The people at the front looked mighty displeased to see me and grudgingly asked for my ID. They gave me no further directions so I had to ask around for my next steps. The RN then made me stand for 10 minutes without giving me any directions on what I should do or even acknowledging my presence. I then waited... and waited... and waited... I waited there for 3 hours without a single update, without anyone checking in on me, without a number, and without any indication of when or if I would be seen. And the waiting room was absolutely frigid. I would say it was 63 degrees which is not great for the immune systems of the many sick and coughing people who wait there for hours.

Thank God the pain went ahead and I saw myself out. This was such a profoundly disappointing experience. Please do not go here. Find any other hospital if you possibly can.

This hospital is a garbage. I am pregnant more than a month, a little bloody signs, thinking about going to the hospital to keep me a child, but he will always ask you to wait for what? It s a pity to wait for you to abort after I have aborted. I did a series of tests. During the examination, I had a lot of bleeding symptoms. I told the doctor that it was useless because he would say he knew, but Just know, fucking, you took measures for me. I left it there for six hours. I took a blood check for a urine, a vaginal examination, and then I told him that my stomach started to hurt, then he I will give you a painkiller. In this way, I watched my body step by step become more and more serious, but I have no way to look at my child step by step and finally have a big bleeding, but the doctor will give me food. I had a painkiller. I didn't do anything for six hours. I just watched it was just a little blood, then a little more blood, then a big bleeding, then the stomach hurts the doctor to give you painkillers, and then the doctor says you are discharged tomorrow. Going to your gynaecologist, that's it. Anyway, I didn't feel the kindness of the doctor. I told the doctor that I had a lot of blood. He was still chatting with colleagues and laughing. That's it. I said that it is very difficult. The picture is for me to draw blood, swollen my blood vessels, and purple.

This place is amazing. I've been to three hospitals in Brooklyn, 1 in Queens, 1 in Manhattan, & 1 in Long Island. & I have NEVER experienced such great professionalism & mannerism. Literally every single person in this hospital is genuinely polite. Keep up the good work & thank you. :)

The must racist hospital in New York. They are condescending and rude. All they really care about is their Coffee break and the favor of their next cup. When I came in one of the staff was passed out sleeping. And the others looked straight at us and saw no one. It was like we were invisible.

One of the worst I've ever been to. The nurses are slow, they're not at all attentive, and they consistently make mistakes when taking notes down as to why you're there, among other answers to questions they ask you. i once went there because I had an allergic reaction to a medication and was unable to breathe. They gave me nothing to help at all. No oxygen mask, no medication, no doctor for at least three hours, no water, nothing. Absolutely worthless, I'd have better luck walking into a stranger's house asking for help. The one in Manhattan is miles better.
