Ugh. Not even sure where to start. My doctor had adjusted my medication and it was too high for me to handle. So I come to the hospital with fainting and throwing up, completely lethargic. Not to mention, one of their PCP's sent me there because i looked so gone. And without taking blood or urine, they tell me I'm pregnant and suffering from morning sickness. Plot twist, I wasn't pregnant. I'm back there a week later because this time I fainted and got a pretty nasty gash on my face. Finally they take blood. The doctor comes in and starts to berate me for "wasting her time". According to her, there was nothing wrong with me. I asked her, "so why am I fainting then?". She said she doesn't care and to get out of her sight. I don't care if that's the last hospital standing, I'll die before going there again. Just to clarify, some of the nurses are amazing. But the doctors are awful. There's an amazing guy who works in emergency pediatrics named Sal, and he's the best at taking blood. You honestly don't feel it. Great conversationalist too. And another nurse in emergency pediatrics (never got his name but he has blonde hair) is also good at taking blood. But no matter how great they are, if the "doctors" can't help you with your medical problem, it's pointless. For the record, the only reason I found out my medicine was too high, was because of my dad. He has absolutely no medical background but noticed signs of an overdose. If someone with no medical background can do a better job figuring out what's wrong with you than a "professional" can, then you need to find a new place. 5 years ago, this place was the best to go to. But it's completely gone downhill. If you have any choice, don't send your loved ones here. Please don't. I wouldn't send my worst enemy here.
