A buddy and I went there to checkout their bike selection, but we ended up surprised for how well we were attended. So my friend decided to take his $10k road bike there for a maintenance checkup. The technician was really good and explain us things we were not aware about the bike and its components, plus some tips about riding in town since we come from different countries and the roads and rules are different from what we are used to. We are definitely coming back to this shop/store.

Do not order custom Goalie Equipment through Petries, go directly to Vaughn/Brian's hockey website..
Owner, Tom Petrie, does not call back when he says he will (x4)
It's been almost a full year since I've ordered my $2000 custom Vaughn XR pros..

Came in with a bike issue while driving through town at 3PM asking if they can have it done by tomorrow morning. He did it for cheap and in 2 hours. Great friendly service. Very reasonable price. Strongly recommended.

The people at this store are the last remaining people that operate how it used to be in the good old days. Polite one on one HONEST advice; not pushy for a sale. I can go on forever with nice things to say and they have done really good genuine deeds for people in need and kept it to themselves not wanting the recognition not boasting on the news or Facebook. These people are 1 in a million and I highly recommend shopping with them. They also will never lie to upsell you and after you purchase it they're always willing to lend a hand. :) LOVE this store!

We stopped in on our ride across Canada to have derailleurs adjusted and perhaps get new pedals because mine weren't releasing my shoes properly. The owner said that they just needed service and did it promptly. He noticed that my crank bearing was loose so I asked him to replace it.
He did all of this at a very fair price. Less than I might have paid for new pedals.
