Fantastic mountain with tons of runs for you to chose from. High speed lifts let you get a lot of runs in. Good amount of blue square and up trails, a lot to explore. Lodge has plenty of space and good food. Beer served.

Meadows Is Always Awesome!! Service Is Great....Snow Is Deep...Love it!!

I went to Snowboard, I had a daypass and it was fun for my friends and I all day. It was my first time Snowboarding but I learned pretty quick and the staff is friendly and accommodating.

A very large ski resort. Not a good place for beginners, but a great place for experienced people.

Plenty of high speed lifts, similar prices to all higher end resorts in Oregon.

Great mountains, terrible parking, and horrible traffic.

My mother brought my best friend and I to the resort for snow boarding, food, and fun and at dinner i had to return my food because of how low quality the taste was. I received a new dish (which wasn't at all tastier) and waited 20 minuted for the bill. Since it was getting late, my mother left a $100 bill on the table (85 or so for the food and 15 or so for the tip) and we decided to leave. I accidentally left my wallet (with my $150 Birthday money and $10 I already had in the first place) and my cell phone on the table and the next day called the resort to ask if they had my possessions. Much to my surprise, our bill was documented as unpaid and I wasn't to receive my wallet or phone until we repaid the bill! After gathering this strange information, I called my mother and gave her this disturbing information. My mother called the resort and discussed the situation and told her that she would have to repay the bill to receive the possessions back. My mother is in the process of playing phone tag between John, Steven, and Mark to make a second payment on my birthday dinner just to get my belongings back. Strange that they think we dined and dashed and me being so careless to leave my belongings on the table. When she asked about my wallet, there was no cash but only my credit cards inside and when she asked if there were cameras in the restaurant, there were none facing the table we were sitting at..... Please be ware!!!!!!!

I love snowboarding and meadows is the perfect opportunity for it. The employees are friendly, and I was able to get a night lift ticket for only $29 with my school ID

I went to meadows a few times this spring and really enjoyed it. Will probably end up getting a season pass there this fall.

Voted 6th best skiing/snowboard place.
It's so much fun here and there's lots of little cafes and even a cafe on the highest slope.

a-holes, bought tickets on my phone, and the charge never went thru apparently (despite the fact that they remembered all my personal information and saved the account that was generated by my ticket purchase), so when I called about it they basically told me to f-off and that i would have to pay an extra $20 for the same tickets. Either get a website that works on a phone or honor the original ticket price! Get it together, y'all!!

The staff all worked really hard to make sure everyone was good. Lots of extra mile service and smiles all around. As a family with a number of first time skiers we came away happy.

I wish I could be up here every day of the week. Beautiful.

Meadows is my favorite ski resort in Oregon. The variety of terrain and the Express lifts keep the lines to a minimum. Enjoy the night skiing.

Great night at Meadows! Got my lift ticket no problem and ran for a lift. The snow is in really good shape for end of the day. Thank you Meadows!

It pains me to write this review - I have been skiing at My. Hood Meadows for 25 years and have been either an employee or passholder for the majority of the last 20. This season has been an absolute low point in my skiing experience at Meadows. EVERY weekend for the past 8, there has been a mechanical or infrastructure problem. Lifts are breaking down regularly; my 9 year old was stuck on Heather for 30 minutes last weekend and each of our family members have experienced similar mechanical breakdowns on Mt. Hood Express, Easy Rider, and Hood River Meadows this season. My wife was stranded at the bottom of Hood River Meadows for 40 minutes because the power went out and NO ONE HAD fueled the APU (generator) on the lift. We experienced a 2hr bus line to get back to HRM after all the lifts closed because of weather because we were turned back by ski patrol when we tried to walk back to our car. On a day when there were 400 High School racers packed into the North Lodge (What is the established capacity by the Fire Marshall?) The fire alarm was going off and NOTHING was being done by staff. The main lot is full by 8 a.m. regularly and when the weather is bad, loong lift lines are the norm. Meadows added more parking this season, but did not add capacity to the resort. More people without added capacity = suck.

My recommendation - look elsewhere. At this point, with mechanical issues EVERY WEEKEND, I'm concerned about the safety for my family. On another note, we headed to Cooper Spur one weekend to escape the crowds (which Meadows owns) and after an hour and a half, the lift had a mechanical failure and closed...

I loved my time here. The skiing was great but what I really enjoyed was some of the workers in the lodge. I especially appreciated the service of one worker in the cafeteria I believe her name was Rose I hear these kids don t get paid a whole lot and I think for that kind of service at the very least this girls wage should be raised because she was incredibly helpful and kind.

Best Snowboarding on Hood. If you want to park in the main lot on a weekend you need to arrive at least an hour before the lifts open.

Meadows is, in my opinion, the best overall resort on Mt. Hood. There are a great selection of runs at all levels, starting from a bunny hill going all the way to blacks. The Lodge itself has a pretty great shop, and a couple great places to eat and grab coffee.

great slopes but the resort is kind of expensive and very crowded. the food here is also pretty good and expensive as well.

Went here for snowboarding Fewer green runs but lots of blue and blacks. It wasn't crowded which is nice. We got a 7 hour pass which can be used anytime during the day. They are open in the night as well which is cool

Thought id go on a tuesday as a value pass holder im more for night ski now anyways. Left my work checked online for hours it said 9-9 and drove 3 hours to turn right around becaise they closed night ski. Wish i could get some sort of voucher for my time and gas wasted. Its very frustrating. This is my first time buying a season pass at mt hood. Dont know how i feel about next year here at the moment.

Not happy with this place. Bought 2 Groupons for self n a friend. Beautiful sunny clear day. Last day of ski ride. Man said no. It's closed. By 1 minute? Seriously? I drove for almost 2 hours to get up there. Put on Sun screen. Rest room n walked to lift ride n told we are now closing....ugh!

It's the best snow sport invroment to be at all the staff are so nice and I just have a vary good experience!!

I have a food sensitivity issue with many things, I am very aware of which food has which ingredients, which people should know about. If you are going to complain about having gluten in your meal look at what it is, hamburgers(I wonder if it has gluten), no it has wheat, as in gluten. All of the skiing is amazing

Pretty cool place to visit but not my favourite place to snowboard or ski it's not very big of an area.

nice place. ride the scenic lift and hike back. must be an absolute zoo during ski season.

Forgot to mention the staff: everybody I met there were polite, easy to talk to , and had a sense of humor. Really gives a shine to the place.

If you are on the mountain to look at a well designed lodge or a sit down restaurant, you would be better off at Timberline. If however you are looking for the sickest terrain, the best kept moguls, and the best conditions you have ever skied, then go to Meadows.

It's Mount Hood Meadows and it gets a bad rap. Mount Hood Meadows when there's enough snow, is a really fun Mountain if you know where to go. When all of the upper Mountain is open you never run out of hill.you need to ski Mount Hood Meadows make sure you don't leave Portland on the weekends past 6:45 a.m. or you will be in a satellite lot having to take the shuttle. I like skiing there weekdays when no one's around and the snow is good.

Cute place to stop, take a chair lift, and do some hiking! Plus there is a ton of parking on site.

Great ski area during the week, too busy on the weekends. When Heather Canyon and Jacks Woods are hit with good conditions, it can't be beat. Mazot has super friendly and hard working employees, wish it was bigger and had wi-fi. Parking here sucks and I wish there were cheaper bus options from the Welches and Government Camp areas.

Best skiing on mount hood. You can find some serious trouble in back of Heather canyon or rip groomers all day. Fantastic storm riding.

The busiest and more options to snowboarding and skiing. Always fun to come and well. Is $$$ and busy most of the time. Great times!!

May be expensive but they have great beginner runs. The ballroom carpet is a good way to get a first timer up to the mountain. Add to that buttercup, the beginner lift and your set up for a day of success.

If you Ski or board or want to play on the greatest mountain in earth here is your ground zero or all of the above . Just an awesome place and one of Oregins true pleasures .

Awesome place to hangout and board. Renting is a little expensive and they recommend you do it online the night before to ensure they have your size on hand.

Everything is over priced, parking is always a pain, ski lift operations are a**holes

Soooo expensive just to get up a hill and slide down it... but twilight and night skiing prices are much more appealing! Can't wait to go back!

It's a good thing the skiing conditions were great and the lodge decent, otherwise this would have been a 1* rating.

Wanted to take our little ones up for the last day of break. They weren't going to make a whole day, so we went up for a half day.
Parking, and communication that parking was an issue, was atrocious. We went to the Nordic lot because they said the main lots were full. Fine, that's great. But then we were turned away from there and told to try the main lot. Sat on the off-ramp for 45 minutes waiting to be released into the main lots. Finally were, and there were well over 30-40 spaces available in the main lot (not sure how many were in the Sunrise lot).

You need a parking management plan, and people who know what they're doing. I can't imagine this is the first time this has ever happened. The fact that we were turned away from the "overflow" parking, and basically told oh well, is unacceptable. When you get to that point, there needs to be very clear communication what the options are, or you need a designated area for half-day. The only reason we stuck around is that we weren't going to drive all that way, just to turn around. And, we would have never heard the end of it from our girls.

It's funny that all the responses I am seeing from meadows are for the good reviews. I am appalled at most of the reviews given and the experience people received. Completely unacceptable.

Anyways, I have been going to meadows for about 17 years now. 10 years ago I would have given it a 5 star, as they would go out of the way to make your experience enjoyable. Today not so much.

The rental shop team was fantastic and they were very helpful! The older gentlemen in that building was super nice and always opened the door for me and was very informational. But the staff in the bar was just appalling. The hostess said the bar was available, so I stand in line for 10 min to get a drink and there was no seating. I was curious what was upstairs and the other hostess for that section looked at me like an idiot for asking and acted very entitled. So I basically stood there awkwardly drinking my drink with no where to sit. Not much of a bar in my opinion.

I went into the shop to get a stomp pad and the people at the front registers were very friendly. I came back because I was debating getting another and just to look around since the first stop in was just a quick one and I needed a parking pass. The manager or person working there not in a uniform looked at me as if I was stealing something and kept looking at me like a criminal. The guy who rang me up thought I wanted an annual parking pass not a day (my fault, I didn't specify) and was very apologetic and nice, he gave me a refund.

A big suggestion other than the entitled bar staff is that the unloading section for the buttercup was just not very functional. It takes a hard right and being a beginner lift it should just go straight. My step son and many others I noticed had trouble getting off the lift because of it, causing hold ups.

Love the new lift pass things that look like I am at the airport. Not sure when they were installed, but very impressive.

Was here on Sunday, my brother crashed and broke his femur. Ski patrol was extremely responsive and professional, as terrible as the situation was it was extremely reassuring watching them work. They got him safely to the clinic right away for X-rays and transferred him to OHSU.

Hung out at the lodge while my husband skied. The breakfast was delicious and paired nicely with a hazy IPA

We got ripped off. My dad purchased a 10-time pass in August. With it he purchased a buddy pass add-on for $49 that was described on the website as one free friend pass and 5 buddy passes that could be purchased for $25 each. However, now they are claiming that the buddy pass add-on includes only 3 buddy passes for $69 (peak) or $49 (midweek) each in addition to the friend pass (which is not much of a deal considering that's only $10 off the regular price). We have no way of proving what we originally purchased, because the deal is no longer offered and the receipt only says "buddy pass add-on," with absolutely no description of what that includes. They say they can't find any record of this deal and have refused to make things right. I'm very disappointed.

Best terrain on mount hood and best terrain in all of oregon besides bachelor. Lots of snow lots of good terrain and Express lifts. Only downside are the lines

If you like huge lines and over priced lift tickets this is the place for you. If you like only getting 10 to 12 runs in in a day this is the place for you. Even weekdays are insane busy and if you're not in the parking lot by 9am you'll be taking the shuttle from Hood River. I've been skiing Mt Hood for 30+ years and Meadows has become the most crowded place on the mountain and the worst place to ski. They usually only have two lifts running at opening so it takes forever to get up the hill. So If you're a gaper that prefers standing in line and judging everyones ski gear over ripping powder then meadows is the place for you. Just look at the live cams for Mt hood meadows and you'll see what I mean. Officially DONE skiing meadows.

It dumped and only a few lifts were open due to visibility and high winds, but we still had awesome skiing on some of the freshest powder ever. Check with the local lodges for lift ticket deals!
