It's a good thing the skiing conditions were great and the lodge decent, otherwise this would have been a 1* rating.

Wanted to take our little ones up for the last day of break. They weren't going to make a whole day, so we went up for a half day.
Parking, and communication that parking was an issue, was atrocious. We went to the Nordic lot because they said the main lots were full. Fine, that's great. But then we were turned away from there and told to try the main lot. Sat on the off-ramp for 45 minutes waiting to be released into the main lots. Finally were, and there were well over 30-40 spaces available in the main lot (not sure how many were in the Sunrise lot).

You need a parking management plan, and people who know what they're doing. I can't imagine this is the first time this has ever happened. The fact that we were turned away from the "overflow" parking, and basically told oh well, is unacceptable. When you get to that point, there needs to be very clear communication what the options are, or you need a designated area for half-day. The only reason we stuck around is that we weren't going to drive all that way, just to turn around. And, we would have never heard the end of it from our girls.
