Both lifts where down in the HRM and overflow lots, so only option was to take a shuttle. shuttles were a 2:30hr wait!!!!! Hands down the worst experience I have had at any ski resort in 20 years..

Fun familyvplace to ski, good ski school, good rental support, crappy food and lodges, soooooo crowded on weekends just dont even go. On Saturday from 9 to 3 we get 6 runs, where as on midweek we get 18 runs in. I think it's expensive but the crowds say otherwise.

Although I love meadows for the long runs and fast lifts, I can t express how much it drives me crazy that there is no good vegetarian options served at any of the food courts. I ordered a Caesar salad today after seeing a $13 grilled cheese and falafel burger (gross sorry but get a real veggie patty) and of course at least half the bowl was croutons and cheese. It s disgustingly covered in cheese every bite is a mouthful of Parm. (Mid you I like my cheese but this is just gross)

PLEASE take the bacon out of your clam chowder
PLEASE take he beef out of your chili

Those two changes would SIGNIFICANTLY help your non meat eating patrons

This is a great family friendly place to ski! Places to eat the lunch you brought as well as heat it up. However, there is NO sign of ski patrol anywhere! We spent an hour od our ski time helping a lost boy down the mountain. The winds were dangerously high and the lifts should have been closed by 1 with a partial refund offered.

"Twas a perfect experience in every way. We went on a Thursday. Easy parking, easy lift ticket purchase, no wait lift lines, almost empty runs. Had an excellent meal and service at a very busy Alpenstube Restaurant and rode until we couldn't take anymore. Mt. Hood Meadows does not disappoint!

Great resort for my first time skiing. The instructors were really helpful, there was a pleasant atmosphere and the people at the rental shop were excellent for getting us out in time for our lesson. The let-down was the fast food restaurant however as the service was slow (though the food was great). This seemed to be the place to go for ski in Oregon. I'm really happy with how the day turned out.

We visited on the Friday of the 3 day weekend in February and were expecting slow lines and crowded slopes. The parking lot was full, but even at capacity we never had to wait for a chair. The prices for lift tickets were appropriate in comparison to other similar ski resorts. The terrain is great for experienced skiers and boarders and newbies as well. We didn't eat on the mountain so I can't speak to the food but we did have a drink at the mid mountain hut and at the base lodge apres ski. The mid mountain hut is very small inside so it isn't a good place to try to warm up on a cold day. As our luck had it, our day was nice and sunny and the outdoor area had chairs and music to enjoy with your drink. Apres ski, the base lodge didn't have a great vibe to it.... seemed more like they were going for a fancy restaurant atmosphere than a ski lodge. For parking, we were in our Truck Camper so we utilized their overnight parking area. All vehicles had to have a parking permit in the parking lot and overnight parking for self contained RVs and campers was no additional cost but you had to get a permit from the resort. For skiers and boarders with RVs / trailers, staying on the mountain this way makes the trip more affordable than a hotel, and you can make warm lunch too. This parking area was completely full by end of day Friday. Overall we loved the mountain and will return next ski season!

Best resort in the Portland area. Weekends are overly busy and full of novice patrons. Expect long lift lines. Midweek is the time to go. The back bowls offer up great terrain with tons to explore.

Doesn't feel right to rate the mountain so all weather conditions aside Meadows has always done a decent job overall. Their system, although not the most up to date, is fairly easy to work through and after the first time you kind of know what to do. The rentals and lift tickets are pretty steep and if your trying to save money by getting the season pass your looking at anywhere from $800-$1000+! The staff is hit or miss as well but I have had more good then bad.

There runs, which is the most important, are the best in my option compared to Timberline or Bachelor especially when they are all open. There are many runs in all levels of difficulty.

Meadows Rocks! Most varied terrain on Hood. Above tree line, parks, steeps, cliffs, great tree runs, and a brand new beginner lift for the first timers. Six high speed quads for everyone else.

We have been season pass holders for over 12 years and we find the service has gone downhill.Very disappointed with lack of personal service and attention. This will most likely be our last year being season pass holders if Meadows does not improve this season

Negative stars deserved here, -10! You people need to limit pass sales period. 4/12 lifts actually open and running today, all the lots closed at or before 10a. But theyre still shuttling people in by the bus load. They say that vista is on stand by but the chairs have almost 2 ft of snow on them, it hasnt run in days. I paid $1008 for two season passes and this is what i get on their biggest day (50th anniversary day) of the year! F'in bs man, pull that all the time "lift is on standby" but in actuality the chairs arent even on (Cascade Express right now).

Meadows is one of the three major ski locations on Mt. Hood (Timberline and Mt Hood SkiBowl being the remaining two). Meadows is definitely one of the best. They've recently updated all their facilities as well as are now using a fully computerized system that keeps track of all guest information. This location definitely has their stuff in order, prompt service, fast queue lines at rental and lift ticket areas and top it all with friendly courteous staff at every corner. This place is one of the top facilities in the northwest!

They had a young girl who was supposed to be parking people in the parking lot. No hand signals or identifiable direction. When I pulled up her attitude was terrible telling me I should just know how to park if I had ever been to meadows before but she was very rude. Not a great way to start the day. It only progressed from there. People pay a lot of money to be season ticket holders and co am not asking the young hires for extra positive engagement... I could deffinently do with out the negativity.

Flagged parking in the morning. There system had me in as a snowboard lessons, told them I reserved ski lessons and they did the swap happily. Instructors help everyone progress even though not everyone learns at the same pace. I'm coming back next weekend!

In my opinion the best ski hill on mount hood, I like my groomed runs, and they have plenty of groomed runs, decent terrain parks and lots of quad lifts. This is my personal ski resort of choice, only set back is the insanely high price tags

If you redeem a ticket purchased online under a different name, meadows will accuse you of fraud and charge you a fee on top of requiring you to reimburse them for the runs that you went.

Total rip off. If you plan to transfer your ticket to another person it has to be a gift card.

Skip the rude customer service and ski at ski bowl
